Family-owned since the early 1970s, Thunderbird’s wood floor, disco lights, and community nights keep classic skating alive. Named Best Outing on a Budget and Best Place to Take Kids on a Rainy Day by Plano Magazine, it’s pure DFW nostalgia with heart.

For a Friday, staff were really nice. Front desk answered all my questions that I had. Great customer service. Music was on point. A lot of kids but staff kept everyone safe and organized. My first time here will be coming back. Thank you again.

Google
Good prices, great facility, rink is large, staff is friendly, great music, has concessions and an arcade area. It’s a bit far for us, so we probably won’t frequent it as much as I’d like, but how fun to feel like I just stepped back in time 30 years. 😆

I attended the season opener of the Lone Star Assassination City Roller Derby at Thunderbird last evening. Four teams were on the line-up. You brought your own chairs and drinks and sat right next to the action. It lasted about 3 hours and the concession stand was open throughout the night. The Roller Derby has scheduled events on a monthly basis. The tickets are reasonably priced at $12 per person unless you purchase a season pass. I was surprised at the professionalism of the sports league. It was a fun evening!

Needs new management or to be shut down. Visited recently with my kids and was shocked at how far this place has declined. One of the staff members, Renne, smelled strongly of weed and seemed completely out of it the entire time. Another employee, Sonya, was handling announcements and customer service. She had an incredibly rude tone and seemed annoyed every time she spoke. Definitely not someone who should be on the mic or representing the business. The pricing is all over the place and makes no sense. Five dollars for a “large” fountain drink that’s maybe 20 oz without ice. Another five dollars to rent a walker for a child learning to skate. No lids, no straws, no spoons at the snack bar. And the prices seem to go up every time we visit. The ATM was out of order, and the only way to get cash was to give Sonya your card and pay twenty dollars directly to her. That setup makes no sense and feels completely unprofessional. The condition of the building is awful. The walls surrounding the rink floor are cracked and falling apart. Some spots are sharp and honestly look dangerous. The carpet is stained and dirty, and the parking lot is full of potholes and broken pavement. They have a DJ, but you’d never know it. The sound system is terrible with staticky, blown-out speakers, and they play the same overplayed Top 40 radio songs you’d hear in a grocery store. It feels lazy and disconnected from the crowd, which is likely a management issue. The skating floor itself is slick and clearly hasn’t been properly maintained or waxed in years. Kids were constantly running across the rink and no staff, including Sonya, did anything to stop them. It felt unsafe the whole time. Compared to rinks like Interskate, this place doesn’t come close. Poor management, poor maintenance, poor energy. Something needs to change. Either bring in new leadership or shut it down.

Very friendly and cool atmosphere. Had pretty much everything you need to enjoy with family and friends. Very Well managed. Had a birthday party. Service is awesome!

Jonathan Alpart

Google
Brought back so many memories of childhood. My daughter now wants to have her fifth birthday party here! The place is well managed and the DJ plays lots of games with the skaters on the rink. They also use the loudspeaker to make sure everyone is following the rules and staying safe.

Google
I do love going to Thunderbird Roller Rink but I can NEVER understand what they are saying over the mic/intercom, the kids run over everyone, and the place is always packed (well when I go, it is). However, the management and staff are really nice, understanding and accommodating. Someone took my daughters walker and they gave me another one, no questions asked. I cannot comment on all of the food but it is affordable and the funnel cake and churro we had was yummy. 😋 The kids l♡ve the vending machines and video games. The place could stand a good deep cleaning and a little updating but nonetheless it's a great place to take the kids - their customer service grossly outweighs the minor discrepancies.

Yelp
Decent skating rink. Can get quite busy. Wish the place was cleaner and had more space and seating. Went on a Friday night for a birthday and it was PACKED. It was good vibes and people of all sorts were polite and courteous. This skating rink gets the job done. Just wish it was a little more modern and up-kept.

Samantha C.

Yelp
The vibes are there, it truly feels like I stepped back into 2005. The only downside is the rude intercom lady. I understand that there's rules for safety, but there used to be refs and associates skating making sure that people were being safe. I would have rather had the friendly associates than a rude lady yelling every 5 seconds.

Yelp
Maybe someone IS reading these reviews. The lights are actually bright. Keep it up. It's still a bit dirty but there is forward progress. Get rid of the garbage at the end of the rink that's clearly visible.

Yelp
We hosted a surprise birthday party here, had the place to ourselves. The Thunderbird owner was so easy to work with in planning and coordinating prior. Day of, the staff was excellent in prepping the tables and food we brought in, helping the party-goers with anything they needed, coordinating music we brought, cake service, a fab grab-that-dough for the bday boy and breakdown/clean up. And the space is terrific... great rink, skates, sound system and lights. I read older reviews complaining about lights or the facilities and let me tell ya that the space is great now. Awesome spot for something to do, adult or kids, and fun spot for an event. Thank you Jacob and all of the Thunderbird staff!!!!

Palmer L.

Yelp
like the best roller rink I've ever gone to in my entire life. So if your in Texas close to Dallas on like a road trip then go to thunderbird roller rink. Also if you want to go roller skating and you don't know where to go then go to thunder bird roller rink. GO TO THUNDERBIRD ROLLER RINK!!!!!!!!!!

Destiny T.

Yelp
Everything is cheep the music is not great, almost looks run down. A off duty police officer is there though. Staff is extremely rude from getting my ticket for skates to getting my skates. Purchased my ticket and left the next 25 minutes or so.

Yelp
Phenomenal throwback, I love this place the absolute MOST amount!!! So grateful it still exists!!!

Yelp
All in all Thunderbird is a fun place for everyone - couples, the littles, families. I think $10pp for quad skates is totally reasonable, and so is $3 for the walkers to help little learners. It's not the cleanest place or the most up-to-date, but Thunderbird is my only rink experience so I have nothing to compare it to. It is crazy crowded on weekends with birthday parties, wall-hugging newcomers, and blitzing veterans. The space between the rink and the wall is super narrow and is constantly uncomfortably congested. That can be frustrating sometimes. However, I intend to keep going because my family and I do have a fun time. We're just going to try after school in hopes it'll be way less crowded compared to the weekends.

Yelp
for the amount of times i've been slammed into by children here you'd think i'd have a lower review. but i mean i still keep coming back despite how outdated this place is, my friends and i love it here. something abt that carpet just makes us go crazy for skating i think

Yelp
Such a cute place for date night! We went on a Friday night around 7pm and there was a good mix of adults + kids/teens. $10pp for quad skates, which are the easier ones to learn. We had a lot of fun learning how to roller skate, watching other people skate and jamming to the music! The place gave 80/90s/Stranger Things - esque vibes which we loved! Had lots of arcade games and pizza/food options, though we did not try. Will definitely return and maybe try in-line skates next time!

Yelp
I was trying for weeks to book a private event. They were extremely difficult to get a hold of rude to deal with. I ended up booking with anther skating rink. The website has been down for weeks. Please consider working on customer service.

Gia L.

Yelp
From the raggedy driveway parking area to the inside of the rink, it's a downward situation. The parking lot is filled with holes and no identified parking spaces just gravel concrete. The inside of the ring is old and outdated and most importantly extremely filthy! I use the vending machine and when I reached inside to retrieve my candy bar, my hand came out filled with gross dirt dust! It was horrifically filthy!! The floors are extremely unkept being filthy and gross. The wall around the skating area is a pill for a more likely unsafe mess. From every corner of this place is gross and filthy! The bathrooms are the absolute worst! They tried to cover the seal with paint but still is horrific. The toilets are always filthy so no one ever cleans them. It's obvious that there is profit being made and the owners could easily if not update at the minimum clean up the place. You feel as though you need a tetanus shot after leaving this place. The only good thing to say is that the staff are very nice and kind. I don't understand how people order food and eat it from that snack area. I would never. Even their skates are outdated. Clean up an update. Your customers deserve better.

Robert A.

Yelp
The Good: Price to skate Skate floor Music played for kids Seating The Bad: You have to pay extra for the skate assist. You have to pay even if your not skating. Employees keep talking over the speaker and stoping music. Wife is breast feeding our twins and couldn't bring water inside so she could stay hydrated. Instead they wanted us to pay for water. Overall not a bad place but not coming back.

Ann J.

Yelp
Brought my daughters for the lesson on Saturday. The main teacher is fantastic and breaks it down easily, and gives attention to all kiddos. The owner however told me no when I requested the rolling guard rail to help her learn. She said, it would be a waste of my money. My daughter is 3 and couldn't even hold her balance. In turn, she refused to skate which was a true waste of my money. When the owner told me no, i felt it was completely rude and out of line as I know my child better. Super put off and will debate if we ever return. My youngest is now terrified, not the first experience I'd hoped for her. And to add, when the free skate time opened and more people came, there were kids 3x times her age utilizing the rolling rails.

Yelp
I think this place would be absolutely awesome if the owners took better care of it,the carpet needs replacement, the place needs some cleaning, etc. but overall I'd come back!

Yelp
After multiple tries to call and verify hours listed on their website and Google, they didn't answer their phone. Had to just take a gamble and show up. I expected there to be a lot of children on a public skate afternoon. And I heard that this rink was a good one, but what bothered me the most was the constant chatter over the PA system telling people to skate and not stand around on the rink. There was maybe 1-3 people resetting their balance while hugging the wall, which to me doesn't warrant ruining other people's experience. The skate ref on the rink should've been handling anyone causing safety issues. Then of course they charge for everything from being a spectators to charging new skaters to use the walkers. You are able to bring your own skates for a slight entry discount. In-line skates also cost more. All in all, normally I understand how a local business earns it's money, but the atmosphere was one of coralling children and not being welcoming as a family friendly place should be to children and new skaters.

Andrea S.

Yelp
I was there last night with my kids. I saw two men pull out guns on each other. I told the police office and the owner. The owner told me it was Texas and people are allowed to open carry there. We immediately left. I will not be going back. It is not a safe place to take your kids. Until they change their policy and do not allow people do bring weapons inside, we will not be back.

Honey M.

Yelp
Old school and really fun! A bit outdated and can have cleaner restrooms and eating area but that's okay! Order pizza the moment you arrive because later in the afternoon it is going to be a long wait! My kids enjoyed it even if they kept on falling. we will definitely come back and practice more.

Yelp
My wife and I just got back from our second adult-skate night at this place. It is beyond fun! We are in our fifties and it's amazing how muscle memory kicks in...we feel like we're teens. Thunderbird looks and acts exactly like the roller rink we used to go to in the 80's, all in a good way. If you're considering trying this out, do it! The prices are very reasonable, including concessions. The staff is extremely kind and encouraging; even the patrons are really cool. The monthly adult skate night is going on our calendars for good. We begged the management to have two per month. Let's give them a reason to do it!

Yelp
For my daughter's 12th birthday she wanted to have a roller skating party. This is the closest rink to us so I called and left a message about a party, keep in mind her birthday is in February and I started calling about her party since November. I tried calling when they were open and they never answered. One of the MANY times I have called the answers that was the ONLY time they answered the phone out of all the times I called. When I they answered I told them I was looking to book a private party, and they gave me a phone number to call or text. I sent many messages to this phone number I was given and none of my messages were ever answered. Very recently we were out and we decided to go to the rink to see about booking the party. We tell the lady at the counter that we're looking to book a private party for a weekend in February, and she says that all of their party's on weekends are booked up until April. I explained to her how we've been trying to book this party since November and how every time we called it was never answered. I also explained how we received a number to text or call and how the texts were never answered. She starts to explain how she is the one in charge of party's and she manages them, and how there's an email dedicated to party's on the website that I was not aware of. When I was on the phone with someone they never mentioned an email dedicated to patty's. In review I would not recommend trying to call for a party, if you really want to have a party there your best option would be to go in person and book months in advance. Thunderbird is great for daily skating but I don't know if I would ever recommend them again for a party based on their poor customer service and bad management.

Jocelyn S.

Yelp
i love skating oh em gee thunderbirb is my favorite i go here like all the time with my best friends for birfdays

Aria A.

Yelp
Required mask upon entrance and then didn't enforce them inside, doesn't make sense. Outdated music and smells gross. They kept pausing to make announcements about not grabbing onto the railing while skating, rude and unprofessional. Do not recommend unless you have kids.

Yelp
It's going to be very hard to write this review without heavy use of swear words. Because, this place deserves every swear word in the book. Worst. Birthday. Experience. Ever. I literally left in tears and had no chance the entire time to actually enjoy my kid's birthday experience. That has NEVER happened to me with all the places I've ever hired for my kid's birthdays. First off, the stench of this place hits you in the face as soon as you walk in. I have been once before, but I didn't remember it smelling so awful. I'm surprised they're allowed to make food in a place as filthy as this place. The carpets look like they have NEVER been vacuumed in the however-many-years it's been open. I signed in with the very unpleasant old guy up front who seems like he barely knows what's going on, and he gives me tickets, and then tells me to go 'sign in' with the party lady who will give me a 'room time'. Huh? I thought my time was at noon? Oh, no, silly me.. unlike every other place I've ever booked, they give you a random THIRTY MINUTES (even for 25+ kids) at a RANDOM TIME. So, they told me my room time was at 1 PM from our 12-2 party time. How. Freaking. Absurd. So, I had to monitor the tickets and hope to find people as they came in, and try and guard all the gifts being brought, and bags and purses. I didn't get to skate with my kid, I barely even got to SEE her the entire time she skated. So, the party host was one of the most useless human beings I have ever encountered. She laid out the tables.. she very slowly brought food and drinks in an awkward order, once we were all in our room. To their credit (??) I did have a little extra time to put the few decorations I had out in the room - on a table, with the donut cake I made. By the way, the rooms have HIDEOUS, trashy, neon decor that's apparently up there all the time. Their website doesn't show this. Their website has ZERO party pictures at all, I think to purposely hide how horrible these rooms are. The pizzas we got were cold. The drinks came in random order, the kids were half done eating before most of the drinks came in. Then, of course, because 30 minutes is such a short period of time, they're up your butt to try and get you out. THIRTY MINUTES FOR 25+ KIDS? WHO CAME UP WITH THIS? They put my kid in the money booth without me even being in there, because I was rushing back and forth trying to clean out the room. I happened to catch her as she was almost done, coming back in. I have never, ever, ever had such a ridiculously horrible experience. The staff is horrible, the location is horrible, the food is bad, the rules and set up is a nightmare, the DJ continuously sets up these few stupid games over and over again. I hate everything about this place and everyone in it. Somebody PLEASE come build a nice, new roller rink and put this garbage place out of business.

Jonathan O.

Yelp
The prices were very reasonable for entry, skate rental and lockers rental. they do not allow food or drink so be warned to eat before hand but that's not a deal breaker as it was cheaper than movie theaters

Annabel R.

Yelp
Home away from home!! I love going on Saturdays or Sundays at the very beginning of the day because it gets packed almost instantly, which is the only downfall, especially if you're a fast or advanced skater. Also, there are a zillion kids (as you would expect), so if you're not a kid person, adult skate may be your best bet. They have one every month! They just need to open another one already around the metroplex so the customer base can be split & we can have more physical room to skate. Love it though, 9/10 would recommend (it's a 9 only bc of how busy it gets!)
google avatar

Inbal P.

Yelp
Nothing special about this place, if you want to have fun drive few more minutes to Lewisville! This place is just ok, it's open just from 1pm to 4pm, I paid $22 for 2 kids including skates and the training guards My kids kept the rule of stay next to the rail if you use the training guards Then, the DJ started games, my daughter was asked to leave the rink until the game is finished since she is not playing! I really thought its is misunderstanding and went to ask at the management where I was told that this is the rules of the place! Btw, Slashie is being served with spoon, they have no straw from safety issues How rude, definitely not taking my kids there ever again
google avatar

Tasia T.

Yelp
Worst birthday party experience ever! Don't book a party here unless you want to be extremely frustrated, stressed, feel you overspent, get kicked out of the party room early (even when pizza arrived 10 mins late into our 30 min slot). I was charged for additional skaters and trainers without even being asked. Overall, super disappointed and would strongly advise against booking parties here. Oh- and the party room is tacky AF! Ugggh. Wish I could get a refund. Worst $300 spent.
google avatar

Sienna B.

Yelp
Uhm- the jams they play!!! These kids don't know nothing bout this music lol. I came here the last hour and a half - thank ya Jesus. Just enough time to write a few Yelp reviews and let the kids skate. Great music, bad ass kids, and pretty good service. Came right in- no line at the door or skate rental (mind you it was closing in an hour and a half). The floor is clean, the place serves dollar slices of pizza closer to closing.

Yelp
I felt like I was back in time it was fun just to sit back and watch everybody like if I was 15 years old again great experience the rollerskates weren't that great but the experience was priceless

Julia S.

Yelp
Had my kids birthday party here and it was an amazing time. The party assistant went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having a good time and we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend for a fun and affordable time. Looking forward to going back soon!

Yelp
Hidden gem in Plano that has stood the test of time. I grew up skating here and going to birthday parties here and now my five year old is doing the same thing 30 years later. It costs $8 to rent normal skates or $11 for roller blades. If you bring your own you just pay $6 for admission. They play top 40 music from the last 10 years. For birthday parties they still have the money machine that blows cash into the air inside a glass box. I did this as a kid and thought it was great! They offer group lessons on the weekends. They provide these crutches on wheels for kids who are learning. My son and his friends use them and like them. We will be back again and again!

Yelp
My 8 year old step daughter loves to skate, so when she came to visit of course I went to Yelp to find a nearby rink. Thunderbird is surprisingly one of the only skating rinks in the area. It is very retro, or maybe just run down, but I like it because it brings up feelings of nostalgia from my childhood. The walls are brightly painted in greens and yellows and purples and it smells of paint, even though I have a feeling it was painted a while ago. There is a snack bar that offers food and drinks at great prices. Bottled water was a $1. They play current music (mostly pop) and they turn down the lights and have cool projected designs on the walls. My only real gripe is they do too many races on Fridays and Saturdays (I have gone both nights). The DJ will do fast races for kids 13 and under, 14 and up and one for the adults. It can take a while for them to finish and the little kids I was with were anxious to get back out there. Price is cheap only $8 if you rent 4 wheeled skates, $11 for inline. It is free if you don't skate which is nice-- Grapevine's Skate Town makes you pay to enter the building.

Yelp
For the ULTIMATE old school party experience rent out the entire skating rink at Thunderbird for yourself and your retro-fabulous friends. Go the extra mile and make it a themed party and it will be an evening you and your guests will not forget. Albeit nearly a month late, I decided to celebrate a milestone birthday at Thunderbird Saturday night from 11pm-1am to the tune of a 70's disco jamskate. When my friends and I arrived 15 minutes early, the place was still packed with kids of all ages. Here I was thinking roller skating was just popular when I was a kid! Did us adults feel a little out of place walking around in our bell bottom pants and afros amongst all the little people? Heck no! Not when you've had several pints of liquid courage beforehand - you feel totally bad ass until some kid wants to pet your fro. The place cleared out 10 after 11pm whereupon every gleaming square inch of the wood skating rink was all ours. Upon request, the DJ spun 100% 70s disco tunes like KC and A Fifth of Beethoven. Ah yeah! Now that's what I call Saturday Night Fever! For two glorious hours, my pimpin' crew jamskated on the dance floor like it was 1979. These guys are pros at doing birthday parties. For $300 you get entrance and rentals for 30 skaters, free soft drinks, 2 hours of skate time, and a trip to the Money Machine. I may have only grabbed $7 from the Money Machine (not quite enough to pay the bill in its entirety), but I did feel like a $30,000 millionaire for a very brief moment when I emerged clutching my crumpled $1 bills. I thought I was the oldest "kid" to have a birthday party there, but apparently they had someone celebrate their 65th birthday there so I guess it's never too late to have a roller skate party. Do yourself a favor. Go to your closet, dig out your old four wheelers, and hit the skating track today. Do it. Best two hours you'll have in a long time.

Yelp
Very clean large rink. My son really had a blast here. He enjoyed himself so much that I didnt even have to convince him to skate around 15 times. He just did because he was having tons of fun and it turned out to be a great exercise moment as he was sweating! My daughter who is 6 years old fell on her face and didnt want any part of it afterwards, but, said that she would be interested in trying the roller skates instead of the blades next time. Oh, also, when my daughter fell on her face, I really appreciated the quick response of the staff. They swiftly came over, brought a bag of ice, along with her tennis shoe! Overall, very nice, open space and great place to work out for kids and adults alike!

Yelp
Flashbacks to 7th grade, yo. That also seems to be the last time this place was renovated. I've taken my kids here a few times and typically I have to trade my skates back in at least once due to bad bearings. Like some of the others have said, make sure you have cash, cuz they don't take American Express. And you better love you some Justin Bieber or Lady Gaga, cuz the DJ certainly does.

Salty P.

Yelp
Tbh I think you guys need to open earlier, I got to the roller rink on Friday to find out they don't open until 6 pm. I got there at 12:30 to only find out weren't open. Honestly made me upset

Frank R.

Yelp
Great rink but they constantly interrupt skating and play these gambling games where they give away a dollar basically running 30'minutes is skate time. The "dice game" is a forced game where you are forced to leave the rink while they scream announcement s over the horrible sound system Bring earplugs Fun place but they need to revamp some of this
google avatar

Alison ..

Yelp
not a bad roller rink considering there's only 2 near frisco. it's a bit outdated and it's obvious they haven't replaced anything in the rink for years. still a fun time and the rink is quite big so there's lots of room for everyone to move around in without feeling too cramped! just personally not a fan of the upkeep and decor, other than that not bad.

Yelp
Close your eyes and think back to 5th grade when you went to your classmate's birthday party. Where your classmates urged you to ask out another classmate but you were too chicken. Are you there? Now when you open your eyes, you'll magically be transported to Thunderbird Roller Rink. Seriously, this place looks almost exactly like what I remember to be a 28 year old memory. In all honestly, I thought I was not going to have as much fun as I did. I thought roller skating wouldn't be as fun as rollerblading and was disappointed that I hadn't brought my Rollerblades, but it was "cheap skate Tuesday" and it was great. We skated for about two hours and I only fell twice, both while attempting to do tricks that I hadn't attempted in decades. For the most part, everything was fine. Some of the younger kids who don't know what they're doing will zoom out or bite it right in front of you. Just be prepared. They've done their best to make an old rink look less old with a coat of paint here and there. All in all, a good time. Do it even if it's for nostalgia's sake.

Hayley R.

Yelp
weird they require a mask to get inside the doors... to the lady behind the glass, but not inside .... so what was the point?? but want to sell you one (of course--- for what though?) ..They kept making several announcements that nobody could make out about bc they were too close to the microphone while pausing the flow of skating. To yell at everyone for doing almost everything but breathing. All but 1 of the employees was rude, and seemed to be having a horrible day. The overall atmosphere was not a fun experience it was tense like walking on eggshells bc you never knew who was going to do something wrong again. I suggest going elsewhere bc the people running this place are not happy and you can tell by their staff. Also if you over 10 and a birthday kid you have to put your hand behind your back in the money machine... seriously.... heaven forbid the kid actually grab all 10 of the dollars that were put in there in the 10 seconds they are in their in the first place. Dont waste your time here....

Yelp
I so wanted to rate them 5 stars but they are repeatedly so disappointing. They are nice people but they're food area had no burgers or pizza even though it's on their menu!!!!! The slush machines were not frozen. When I asked the girl if they would be ready before 8pm when they close she said MAYBE!!! What????? We brought 22 people tonight and planned to provide dinner for the kids. All they had was popcorn, microwaved unsalted fries( yuck) , microwaves mini pizzas and soda. They never cleaned popcorn off the floor. Kids skated through it all night in the snack area. This is disgraceful and not safe!!! The staff and business in general seem to be struggling perhaps.... When I ordered food the girl kept telling me what I ordered was not available so it was slim pickings. My thought is why not just revise your menu board so you don't set people's expectations up thinking they can order food when they won't be able too. It creates unneeded stress and unhappy customers. Most everything is microwaved. They never put water out for skaters and typically they do that. They never called our names when our food was ready. They have a microphone but they don't use it to let people know their food is ready. Many parents left with their kids early because they were hungry. This place really needs to rethink their snack area and customer service. But we can't bring friends here anymore. It was embarrassing. They charge $3 to rent the pvc pipe trainers and $4 to quad skate. That's so much for renting the pvc pipes things. It's dirty and they didn't announce closing the snack bar until ten minutes after they had already closed it. What a shame.......

Yelp

Yelp
I can't comment on the inside because I didn't get that far... but just a heads up, this business still REQUIRES face masks so if you don't want to breathe through a mask while doing a physical activity, take your business elsewhere like I did.

Yelp
It's seriously like stepping back in time when you go into this roller rink!!! Had my daughters 9th birthday here and it was great!! Kids got to skate for an hour, then got 30 min in the party room for pizza and cake, and then could head back out and skate. Party host set up the party for us & had everything ready for the pizza and cake! Four pizzas included with the party were PLENTY for the 20 kids and some parents. It's a little dirty inside, but it's an ancient place so I guess that probably comes with it. Overall, great party and experience!!

Yelp
I like the way the rink is still as smooth as it was in the 80's but I don't like that fact that the carpet was lumpy in many areas. I don't like the fact that every time I had to open my locker, I had to deposit another 75 cents in it each time to get it to lock again. The bathroom mirror was dirty but the toilets were constantly cleaned thank God. The hand dryer barely works so I hated having to dry my hands on my shirt. The rink is still very small and to crowded and my tiny self got smashed into by bigger faster skaters.

Yelp
The hours of operation are inconsistent across yelp, google, and their own site. When I called the skating rink the voice mail said that the most accurate hours would be on their website so I go by those hours. Today I went when their site said they would be open and they weren't. It wasn't just me who thought they would be open. There were several other cars waiting as well. After 35 mins of waiting to see if they would open I left. Disappointed. I enjoy skating here but please update hours of operation across all platforms.

Yelp
Haven't been here for 25 years or so....nothing's changed! That good for the retro feel, but not so much in that it's very run down and FILTHY. The carpet, walls, everything is old and dirty. The bathrooms are a living science project. Hard to breathe in there. We ordered pitchers of soft drinks for our group and the ice was very moldy. Disgusting. Not impressed.

Yelp
Love this place! I have been here several times over the years, and it's still as good as ever. Great little family owned place.

Yelp
Haven't been to this rink since march 2020 lockdown. The worst experience I've ever had! Everyone skating in pitch black for almost 2 hrs. I stayed waiting for refund or voucher, old woman bluntly said "No!" I've heard stories of bad customer treatment from this rink. They get away with it cos no one ever says anything. Realize it's okay to drive distant if you want better roller rinks.
