Excellent food in the back of the Stagger Lee bar. Do not sleep on the birria Crunchwrap - cheesy, beefy, flavor-packed. Definitely a must have. Spicy rattler ranch wings were also a solid choice - enough heat on them to make you sweat but enough flavor to keep it from being punitive. Hefty wings as well - none of that skimpy chicken we’ve seen recently in other restaurants. Definitely coming back.

I’ve gotten it twice the last week. Below are my thoughts on everything (I also got everything take out or delivery) Smasher burger- 9.5/10 Juicy and very flavorful. Could have been a little more smashed but delicious Korean fried chicken sandwich- 10/10 Was still crispy and crunchy by the time I ate it. Huge piece of chicken with some really good gotchujang sauce Birria taco- 9.5/10 It was the crispy shell and the cheese pull for me. Consume was fantastic and the meat was juicy Wings- 8.5/10 Crispy and fall off the bone. Sauce was pretty solid Cheese curds- 6/10 Wasn’t too big of a fan of the breading but the serving size is massive. Queso- 7/10 Pretty standard queso. Could use some pico Main dishes were FANTASTIC. Will definitely recommend and can’t wait to try their other food!

Thunderchief Jr. has quickly become one of my favorite spots to eat on Rainey. From the birria crunch wrap, to the smash burger. I have yet to have something that I did not like there. You can tell these guys care about making delicious food. Do yourself a favor and stop in.

Everything on the menu is to die for. Burgers, wings and incredible salads. Rainey was missing food like this since the trucks left. If you want food that will make you trip the rift, head to stagger Lee and order up.

Everything I've had from here has been amazing. Burgers wings fries all are fantastic. Plus it's in a bar so you can get a drink too! highly suggest.

This rating is solely for the crunch wrap. It is a must have and as the description says - definitely better than Taco Bell. The queso, sour cream.. I was in heaven.

this is the food i’ve had on rainey st in a long long time. smash burger 10/10… they have specials every weekend too. highly recommend the whole menu

Great food and time here, get some dope Buffalo wings, wagyu smash burgers, or even birria tacos!!! Eat here everytime I’m down on Rainey st.
