Thuub - Review - Si Phum - Chiang Mai - The Infatuation

"Thuub channels a lost village in a northern Thai forest. The interior is built to imitate a traditional hut: It has walls lined with bamboo slats and only enough space for a few tables worth of people. You’ll find local ingredients (one drink uses three kinds of rice, for example, and others feature jackfruit and even durian) turned into cocktails inspired by northern Thai folklore and cultures. The staff is made up of proud northern-Thailand-born bartenders, so it’s a great place for tourists to learn more about the area around Chiang Mai. Visited on 22 May 2025 A hidden bar located at city center of Chiangmai. The environment very cozy and suit for chitchat, limited seats available during our visit. Ordered 4 drinks and 1 of the drink can't accepted as it was too spicy till your throat.

The bartender is super friendly, informative and helpful. I could tell the moment I walked in I was going to enjoy myself. The cocktails were really and the bartender did not skimp on the alcohol. The 2nd night I went (Saturday) there was a DJ playing music. It had a nice upbeat tempo to it. Met the owner. Man he was fun. All in all an awesome experience. I'll definitely be back.

Hidden on the 3rd floor of a boutique hotel, this bar came highly recommended by a friend. Great little cocktail bar with some tables and counter seating. This place comes with an impressive cocktail menu. Enthralling concept and story for their cocktails with an innovative spin, incorporating local flavours. Staff were very attentive and took care of us! I highly recommend the Dream Dose and Rice meal for those who prefer something different. Cocktails are 360 bhat each and might be considered expensive for this region but every drink was very delicious and our experience was worth the visit.
