My friend and I were in Hobart for two nights and heard about this awesome place with a disco ball pizza oven, so naturally we had to check it out. What a fun spot! We shared two pasta dishes, the chilli prawn special and the fettuccine beef brisket ragu. Soooo delicious and both were cooked to perfection. The beef was my favourite. I wish they had one in Sydney!

Very cool little spot. Love the vibe & the colours. Food was amazing, and the banquet was good value! The pizzas were huge & the waiter was lovely enough to offer us a half & half option. Also, the frosty fruit cocktail was probably the best cocktail I've ever had 10/10 The pizzas were also so big that we got to take the leftovers home for lunch the next day!

my partner and i ate here for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. pizza is 10/10, food came out quickly and the atmosphere is really nice. however the highlight of our night was one of the servers. i didn’t catch his name but he was super friendly and we had a great chat as we were paying for our meal! it makes such a difference to have staff who are good at their jobs and properly friendly. we will definitely be back 🙂

We first visited Ti Ama back in February for our honeymoon and had dinner there most nights, and we absolutely loved it. We just returned this past weekend for our babymoon and once again found ourselves eating there nearly every night. The food, the staff, and the atmosphere are all incredible. Ti Ama is hands down our number one favourite restaurant and one of the main reasons we decided to come back to Tasmania. My husband is a pizza addict and he said that the pizza here tops anything he’s ever eaten, and I have now had all the pasta dishes and I cannot fault any of them! We’re already looking forward to returning next year with our little one!

Incredibly delicious pizza and excellent service. They managed to find us a table on a Friday night and the staff were very helpful throughout. Will certainly visit again

So glad we went to this fantastic restaurant on our last night in Hobart. Perfect, friendly service with amazing food and wine. Pizzas and pasta were out of this world, fresh and tasty. Tiramasu to top it off. Top Notch, would definitely recommend 👌 😀

Good Italian restaurant if you don’t have dietaries. The online menu filled the reader with optimism that there were enough GF options to satisfy a coeliac diner in the usually worrisome Italian restaurant. Sadly the menu misrepresented what was truly gluten free. Fried items were listed as GF even though it was done in a contaminated fryer and there was no substitute offered. The only substitute for pasta was gnocchi - which was delicious and really well done - but again, not clear on the menu. The waiter did their best and was very helpful in the circumstances. Please be more clear on the menu for coeliacs! Or make a couple of changes to give coeliacs more options. The cocktail was amazing..

Had dinner at Ti Ama on a Sunday night and it absolutely lived up to the hype—hands down the best pizza in Hobart. This is proper Italian pizza, not the heavy, American-style kind. The base was light, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour, with quality toppings that really stood out. You can tell they care about authenticity here. They also offer takeaway, which is great if you’re in the mood for a cozy night in. The location is super convenient and easily walkable from the city centre. Prices were decent too, especially for the quality. A must-visit if you’re in Hobart and craving real Italian pizza

Yelp
Aiiii hello Ti Ama, I've been waiting for you and I'm so glad you're finally here. The crew behind the infamous Local Pizza of Berriedale have expanded into town and gotten a little glam. Think mirrorball pizza oven, think fluoro signage, think amazing pink and green and white fitouts with greenery everywhere and a Tom O'Hern mural wall and MORE disco balls, and just bloody good food. It's been over a week now and I'm still thinking about the grilled nectarine/burrata cheese/prosciutto combo that I ate selfishly and entirely by myself (surrounded by vegetarians and vegans, but whatever). Speaking of vegans, my overly restricted gf/vegan/fodmap bestie somehow managed to eat from four different plates and didn't die by the next morning, which is kind of unheard of (especially because not one of those plates was her go-to, hot chips). VOODOO MAGIC. My boyfriend's ricotta gnocchi was the best gnocchi he'd ever eaten, he declared (and also didn't share). The antipasto plate was a bit whatever but who even cares with all the other stuff that was going on. They are, of course, making some pizzas there, because with a rep like Local Pizza's they would have been set afire if they hadn't carried some options into town with them! The only negatives as far as my group were concerned were that the tunes were a little TOO pumping (but hey, they're in Salamanca now and that's the way it is in Salamanca - but could it not be? Maybe? Just a little quieter?) and the chairs that weren't booth seats were aesthetically nice to look at but actually quite uncomfortable. Tricky. I'll be back. I'll be back some time really soon, I reckon. And I'll be sitting in a booth seat. And eating that nectarine dish.

Yelp
Great pizza, service and restaurant. But.....the wine is stupidly expensive!!! Why have good affordable food and so expensive wine???
