"Founded in 1992, Ti Couz was a 16th Street restaurant known for its menu of specialty crepes at affordable prices. It was a regular on the SF Chronicle’s Top 100 restaurants list and earned a glowing review from then-critic Michael Bauer. The restaurant aimed to recreate the meals Sylvie Le Mer had on her grandparents' farm in Finistere, offering Breton-style crepes prepared in cast-iron pans. Despite its popularity, by 2011, Ti Couz closed due to financial struggles and was replaced by Giordano Bros. sports bar." - Eve Batey

The best crepes we have ever eaten. The servers were not super nice, but I liked how casual and rustic/European the atmosphere is. We ordered a sweet crepe with almond butter and honey I believe, and a salmon creme sauce one. OMG. It's been months since we were in San Fran, and we still talk about it.

They use buckwheat for their savory crepes. Really nice improvement over most others. My fave: sausage, cheese, ratatouille, and mushroom sauce. Also their chocolate gelato is very good. Get it on a dessert crepe.

Ti Couz has the best crepes in the city, hands down. These are the real thing; not those overstuffed world-themed crepes you get at all the other crepe places. Here, less is more. Try the mushroom and carmelized onion savory crepe, and the lemon sugar crepe for dessert. Perfection!

The most amazing crepes I ever had (quite different from the americanized version). Try their cheese and sausage one, it is to die for. Beware of: too crowded, long lines, waiters are overworked and sometimes not as nice as they culd be.
