"This counter-service Mexican restaurant is a great place to grab a quick bite during breakfast, lunch, or dinner, especially if you’re on the go to or from the airport. This includes the breakfast burritos stuffed with bacon, egg, and cheese and the tacos and tortas later in the day with sides of elotes or street snacks like chicharron preparado — a fried wheat paste topped with diced tomatoes, sour cream, cotija cheese, avocados, and cueritos (pickled pork rinds). For dessert, order a refreshing mangonada." - Beth McKibben, Eater Staff

Google
This place has become one of my favorite places to get tacos. The asada are my favorite. They recently had a $.25 price increase on their tacos, taking it from $2.50 to $2.75 but I’m not mad because they give good portions and their red sauce has the perfect spice level.

Cute little spot with great food! Service was friendly and with a cute smile 😊

Google
Ordered a Chicken Burrito, which was made quickly. I was surprised at the size, you definitely get your money worth. And it was delicious

Google
One of the best tacos places i have been to. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. I highly recommend their oreo tres leches cake!

Chad Fortune

Google
Eh...it's OK. Different prices in the restaurant compared to online menu. The steak tacos were very bland, there was absolutely zero seasoning on the steak. The chorizo and chicken tacos were seasoned great, but both meats had a lot of fat. Very minimal seating as well.

Google
It's a nice little taco spot that has good tacos. I sat outside and enjoyed my food. The cantaloupe juice is a must try. It was nice. I will return and try some other items off the menu for sure.

Google
I absolutely love their made to order breakfast burritos! Oh, and the pricing is PHENOMENAL! Makes the food even better haha. Definitely add peppers and onions to your breakfast burrito. Totally worth the 75 cent upcharge. Note: this is more of a grab & go spot. Not really dine-in although there are a few seats.

Google
Great customer service and great food. Cozy spot to eat in or take out. Lots of choices and items explained for non Spanish speaking people. Fresh food without a long wait and authentic taste.

Yelp
Great place for tacos! They don't skimp on the meat and give you all the toppings separately so you can control how much you want to put on. Good flavor and reasonably priced. Located super close to the airport, so a great place to stop by before or after a trip. The service was super friendly and I'd definitely come back to try other menu items. As a heads up, there's not a lot of inside seating and there's not a table big enough for more than 2. The only thing that we got that we didn't like was the elotes - it just tasted different and my friend and I were not a fan

Connie T.

Yelp
TL;DR: Did not love the tacos unfortunately, but would kill for the oreo tres leches. ARRIVAL: Came here on my lunch hour and parked right out front. I don't see the parking lot getting too full ever. AMBIANCE: This is a very small spot and nobody was inside when i arrived. It doesn't really look like a spot many people do dine-in. MENU: Simple menu which I prefer. A few popular choices of meat for a few different items. GREAT selection of dessert options in the window! DRINKS: They had two agua frescas available but I decided to be healthy and get dessert instead. FOOD: I won't be going back for the tacos which is a HUGE disappointment given that they're a small business in close proximity to work. The carne asada and al pastor tacos were both dry. The al pastor were a little bit better with ok flavor, but the carne asada was super dry. They came with onion and cilantro on the side. The oreo tres leches was delicious. I aimed to save half of it for dinner later but it didn't work....oops. I have been telling others about it but not recommending the tacos. I may go back and try another item with another type of meat, if that's good, maybe i'll give the tacos another try in case I caught them on a bad day. CLEANLINESS: The place was pretty spotless and they store the cake slices individually in their containers so seems legit. With display windows i always look out for flies and there were none so that's another plus! Everything was packaged to go for me really neatly and well, so another point there as well. SERVICE: the cashier definitely wasn't friendly...she was extremely neutral. The food took around 10 mins from ordering when i was the only one in the store. PRICE: The price is right! OVERALL: Definitely try the desserts; I'll be going back to try some more, but taco meats were dry. The oreo tres leches is good enough for me to go back and give the food another shot!

Yelp
I love love love this spot! It's slightly ducked off in a small plaza. They have breakfast items as well. Tacos are very good. The cucumber Lime Frecas ...I wish I had one now as I'm typing this. Tia Rosies supplies your sauces and napkins. There a few tables to sit down at on the inside and out. Can't forget a bout the bar stools. (No bar guys, incase you're wondering). I put my coworkers onto this spot and now they can't stop going

Vivian C.

Yelp
Switched it up and got an asada burrito today, along with some chicken tacos. The tacos are still A1, delicious. For the burrito, the meat had a lot of gristle, so it wasn't easy to eat. There was also too much lettuce, barely any beans or rice, and the burrito overall wasn't well put together, I had to eat it with a fork because the seam wasn't tight and fell apart as soon as I picked it up. I don't think I'll try another burrito.

Julian S.

Yelp
Consistent. Good food. Clean. I'm glad I found this place. You can call in your orders too.

Sinead G.

Yelp
My husband and I came to this place on a whim and it did not disappoint. I got two asada tacos and a melon agua fresca! The drink was DELICIOUS! I will probably get it every time I go back. My husband got the Cuban torta and asada taco. The torta was very good as well. I didn't care too much for the horchata. The fresas con crema was good but will probably be better when strawberries are in season. I will definitely be back. If you are considering going, I recommend it!

Franko O.

Yelp
Mannnn! This is a secret gem! The Ambiance is nice. Prices are great and most of all the food is amazing. Very authentic and I wish I knew about this place sooner. Forgot to take a picture because I ate the food so quick Definitely a go to place now

BitLeigh V.

Yelp
Ahh a little hole in the wall spot located close to the airport! I ordered the tripa, asada, and al pastor taco and they were soo good! They came with little salsa, cilantro, and onion containers on the side so you can dress them as you please. Such a yummy place and will be back next time I'm in the area!

Yelp
Tia Rosie's has comida buena (good food)! Location and Parking Tia Rosie's is located at a small intersection in Hapeville; perking is free. Venue and Atmosphere The restaurant is a simple "order at the counter" situation. The menu is posted on the giant TV screens, and there are delicious desserts (and Mexican coke!) in the refrigerator out front. There are a few tables inside and out, but this is mostly a takeout spot. Food and Beverages Ah. May. Zing. These tacos are the most delicious and authentic tacos I've had in ATL. I am a lover of Mexican food and have ben to taco joints all over the city, but I keep coming back here. The best part is that they have trips, which most places don't. The Al pastor is perfectly seasoned with the right amount of char, and the chicken is marinated to perfection. Service The staff is friendly, and always greets me with a smile. They also patiently explained all of the desert flavors to me lol. Verdict I'll be back when my next craving hits... which will probably be tomorrow lol.

Colin F.

Yelp
Al Pastor tacos were incredible. Service was fast and prices are perfect. Topped it off with a Cucumber agua fresca and was one of the best drinks I've had in a long time. Recommend highly!

Ruta P.

Yelp
Clean, attentive, deliciousness. I really enjoyed my breakfast burritos. Made to order, fresh, hit and seasoned. They were perfect. The front of house was kind and informative, lead me down the perfect path of choices. Their, I think, guajillo salsa was spicy and tasty. I highly recommend this taco shop. Yum

Dewey M.

Yelp
Always good food and quality service. the best local independent taco spot in Hapeville. The Cuban is heavenly. They even serve breakfast!

Kei M.

Yelp
Great tacos. Great prices. Clean and organized everytime Im there. Nice people who are quick and the food has been consistent and fresh. Authentic with the suadero and the al pastor. Definitely get the green avocado sauce. I've been a few times over the last couple weeks. I would love if they have more items, I would try it all. New favorite tacos locally, for sure.

Trina F.

Yelp
One of my favorite spots to get a breakfast burrito (egg and cheese) and add has browns. Great customer service and community based spot.

Danny B.

Yelp
I love this place! The tacos are cheap, and they are so good! It's really a winning combination haha! Plus it is right down the street from where I live. Most taco places buy their tortillas, but these guys make their own fresh. Their sauces are also really good! Don't skip the salsas when you go! They serve breakfast too. The only thing is that they are a family business so they are usually only open until 8pm. I love the fact that I can fill my belly with good food for only a few dollars. If you live in the Tri-Cities area, you should definitely give this spot a try! It doesn't look fancy on the outside, but the food is so awesome . And on top of all that you won't kill your wallet trying to get some dinner. That's a real thing now with inflation haha!

Karma B.

Yelp
So I was in the area for job training and wanted tacos. Tia Rosie's was the closest and highest rated restaurant, therefore I went. I tested them out by ordering two asada tacos and let me tell y'all- they passed with flying colors! The thick green sauce- idk what's in it but it is AMAZING On the tacos the steak itself is really good and juicy! The tortillas hold the fillings very well I have no complaints. They have a customer out of me. Can't wait to go back!

Jan M.

Yelp
Tia Rosie's is truly a hidden gem. Their food is delicious. Their prices are extremely affordable. These 2 qualities are very hard to find these days (especially in Atlanta and the surrounding areas) so that is much appreciated and really makes them stand out. I highly recommend the Philly Cheese sandwich (one of the best I've had), Mangonada, and Agua Fresca (specifically cucumber lime flavor). A note regarding the Philly Cheese sandwich: I've had both the steak and chicken option and while both are good, I prefer the chicken. Overall, I highly recommend Tia Rosie's and will return frequently.

Lisa H.

Yelp
Great street tacos and burritos at reasonable prices. Love they put cilantro and onions in a small cup for you to add your own to the tacos

Lou O.

Yelp
Asada tacos were really good! I just don't like paying almost $9 for 3 small tacos that come with no chips, or drinks.

William B.

Yelp
Friendly, fast service and a great value for breakfast or lunch . A hidden gem and I will make a return trip.

Dean S.

Yelp
Pretty good tacos. I like coming here for lunch with out of town friends. The product is great and the prices are great too. Fresh and fast, they have a small dining area to eat and then be out. Simple.

Noel M.

Yelp
Tried it for the first time tonight, based on a lot of buzz from neighbors about this new, authentic taqueria. It lives up to the hype. I got 3 tacos - Al Pastor, Chorizo, and Fish and a side of beans/rice. Everything was so flavorful. My wife got 3 tacos - Shrimp, Asada, and Fish, and she said they were wonderful. It's definitely spicy, not bland, which I like. It's tucked away a bit off the main drag of Hapeville, in an unassuming spot at 3266 Dogwood Drive. Less than a quarter-mile north of Arches Brewing. It's also a great value. Our whole bill, with 15% tip, was just over $19. Will definitely be back - like ... tomorrow?

Heidi L.

Yelp
Best tacos in town! We had a great torta, tacos, and elote. All fresh, made to order, and so delicious. Everyone was very friendly. Can't wait to come back and try everything else on the menu. Also, great Agua frescas! So glad to have this new spot close by.

Camille W.

Yelp
Amazing however I wish they would update their hours I drove 30 minutes only to find out they are closed Saturday and Sunday. Hours are Monday-Friday 8am-8Pm.

Efrael M.

Yelp
Food was great, great prices and very clean restaurant, very underrated, service was great as well. I will definitely be coming back here more often. I got the asada tacos and breakfast burrito and both were delicious. Always good to support a small business as well. Will be recommending this to people I know.

Taryn S.

Yelp
I am almost afraid to review this spot because it might get overrun with new customers. So far so good; everything that I have had here has been fresh and flavorful. I've had the shrimp taco(s) as well as the pastor tacos. The onions and cilantro come on the side. (I really like carnitas, but they don't have it available as an option.) You can get fries as a side for most items; the fries are the frozen frozen crinkle cut style that are seasoned with like a Cajun seasoning. I think it would be cool if they made a "Mexican street corn" version. I have also had the très leches cake; they had a variety including an orange (or peach) and one with berries. It wasn't the best I have had but it was pretty darn tasty. My only criticism would be the very small amount of salsa that you get when you take out your order; they come in pretty small containers. But they really pack a punch. As far as I know, they only offer 2 choices: red (hot), and green (milder). I am looking forward to trying their tortas as well as their breakfast items next!

Yelp
BEST TACOS IN ATLANTA Literally the best taco place in Atlanta let alone probably Georgia. Amazing, quick service the employees were very knowledgeable about the menu and were able to articulate it properly to the customers. You will not find any other taco place that has this high quality with this low of a price. My only complaint is that there aren't enough locations.

Michael R.

Yelp
This is hands down the best tacos I've had since I moved to Atlanta from Texas! These tacos are SOOO GOOOD!!! I ordered the asada, tripa, pollo, and shrimp tacos. Knew they were gonna be good before I left so I ordered 4 more asada tacos. Was not disappointed at all. The rice and beans were out of this world as well. And the elotes is EXTRA tasty!! This is my new go to spot for tacos and am so happy I live close to this place. I'm telling everyone I know to come here from now on!

Tera H.

Yelp
Soooooooooooo freaking good! Delicious! Every kind of taco. The best tacos in Atlanta. Great customer service as well. I've been raving/ dreaming about those tacos since I had them. On top of having incredible food and service, the restaurant was very clean and cute. I definitely recommend! 100 percent.

Southside T.

Yelp
This unique hole in the wall . I really want to give a five star rating . but I really can't due to questionable customer service. I saw that it was fairly new so I decided I had a taste for some tacos so me and My Wife pulled up we took the tacos home they were absolutely fire so much so I went back the next day. When I went back it was a sign on the door that said they will be back in an hour. The tacos with so good I decided to wait . No one came to the door to tell how long it would be I could see the staff working they looked at me several times as I waited for 20 minutes right outside the door. Finally one of workers entered and told me they was close because they had a big order .

Taylor G.

Yelp
Services was very good and my chicken and steak tacos with street corn came out really quickly. The tacos were perfect and came with cilantro, onions, lime, and sauces. The street corn was good, but too watery for my liking. Overall, I really liked the tacos and plan to come back!

Kenneth T.

Yelp
Authentic tacos at a reasonable price! I've been here a few times and it's always been good.

Latoya M.

Yelp
So amazing! I stopped by yesterday and it blew my mind. I had the chorizo and asada tacos. I'm literally about to go back today for more! I just found out that they have elote! I'm on the way back there right now! I'll be back with pictures! If you need tacos, don't think twice, just come!

Marley M.

Yelp
first time trying this place. went around lunch time and walked right up to the counter and ordered with a very nice employee. tried their pollo burrito and fish taco. The fish taco came out burning hot and it was tasty. I preferred the fish taco to the burrito taste wise and eatable-wise. The chicken was grilled nicely but the burrito fell apart when I picked it up. That spicy sauce is a hit! My partner ordered a fish taco, a pollo taco, and asada taco. Her steak was overcooked. She loved the pineapple agua fresca so much she ordered another one before we left. All of that for under $23!!! Definitely will be back for lunch. Food: 3/5 Overall Experience: 4/5

Aja H.

Yelp
Bruh... I bartend down the street from this spot and a bar guest told me to check out these tacos... I am not disappointed. I got in my car and peeped the tacos and couldn't resist. I had to eat them right then and there in the parking lot. These thangs be bussssin!!!! So flavorful. I got 1 al pastor and 2 carne asada tacos for like 5-6$ I am so happy. Check them out they shit on Don Chons

Luan D.

Yelp
This was my first stop in Atlanta. $2 per tacos. The meat fillings are of respectable portion and the sauces are good. The types of meat are limited compared to other tacos establishments I've visited. For example , there is no beef tongue or pork skins, etc. Great value and great find! It is very close to the airport. I'll stop by again on my way back to the airport for home. The place has a few tables for eating in and is very clean. Drinks selection is very limited. Maybe they will add some popular drinks like hibiscus tea later to the menu.

Fatgyrl B.

Yelp
I ordered a pollo taco it tasted really dry and unseasoned! My son spit his out because he didn't care for it!! The Asada one was good! I ordered a pollo quesadilla but nothing came with it like salsa nor sour cream so I decided against that! Those where some Mini tacos so in my case I'd have to order 10 of them to be satisfied or full!! This place is NOT for me but the cake was good!!

Sheshana L.

Yelp
I come here almost every day for either the tacos or tortas w/ a side of corn (elote) this authentic spot has breakfast, lunch, along with snacks & desserts for a very reasonable price.

Lisha M.

Yelp
Very good sandwich and tacos. The rice is soooo good. Definitely a gem and we love supporting locals over food chains. Flavorful, fresh...and the desserts! Drool worthy.

Dawu S.

Yelp
Wonderful takeout or dining experience. Love the steak tacos. Customer service is great and I love the family owned business that takes pride in their service. I will be back!

Mitchell H.

Yelp
I was looking for something new and found this gem on Yelp! and decided it fit the bill. From the street, it's quaint. It's local, convenient, and they were polite and quick. I ordered up a few types of street tacos... the Al Pastor was my least favorite but, didn't disappoint. Having spent many nights in Houston, street tacos from a food truck is a must! The one item I really wish they had, to set them apart from any of the other Mexican restaurants is, churro beans. For me, it makes it a 4.5 but that isn't an option. Also, they use radish & cucumber for garnish. They could skip that and save on their costs. You def should check them out!!

David S.

Yelp
Out here working from LA. Well I found my taco spot. Hands down the best tacos in the ATL. Fast, inexpensive and damn good. If you are familiar with real Mexican food this place will not let you down. Place is small so the menu matches its stature but don't be fooled.

Robert B.

Yelp
Look this place is legitimately good, get anything it's going to be solid. Not only that but I dapped the kitchen because when I looked in the cold case and they had three different types of Tres Leche I about fell down X out my eyes and died! Whenever I'm over here in Hotel Hell I will always come here and tell everyone to come here!

Khia H.

Yelp
Most authentic, best tacos/mexican food in Atlanta. I'm from Mexicali and this is my go to place! If you're ever near Hapeville or the airport and want some of the best tacos/tortas/burritos.

Garreth G.

Yelp
Was searching for some tacos in the south Atlanta area and stumble upon Tie Rosies and glad I did. Tiny place but A+ tacos. My buddy and I each had a couple tacos with a side of rice and beans and everything was excellent. I have a feeling he'll be back for sure and I'll definitely add it to my list for the next time I'm back up in Atlanta.

Jeff S.

Yelp
I just relocated to the Atlanta-metro area from Chicago and the one thing I missed about home is authentic Mexican food. Since moving to Atlanta, I've tried many Mexican restaurants and they have all fallen short, particularly south of I-285. Tia Rosie's Kitchen delivers that authentic Mexican flavor that I have grown accustomed to from Chicago. From the corn shells, fresh cilantro and tender, marinated, flavorful steak all makes for an awesome experience. If Tex-Mex doesn't do it for you, you gotta try Tia Rosie's kitchen

Jeff B.

Yelp
Great taste and value! Everything was very flavorful. The salsas were very fresh and complimented the tacos very well.

Sara S.

Yelp
I ordered 40 tacos for a work event and it was the best decision I ever made. The women running the restaurant were so kind and accommodating. They prepared the sauces, sides and tacos perfectly and even helped me pack everything into my car. Everyone at the event was raving about pollo and asada tacos, they were so good. I am still blown away by the staffs kindness and attention to detail.

Viola M.

Yelp
So far the 2nd best Mexican restaurant I've found since moving to GA. Food fresh & cooked to order. Small, clean little place. They serve breakfast as well as cakes. I'll definitely be back to try more.
