This is the island in the middle of the Tiber River between the Regola District and Trestevere. The island is only 270 metres long and 67 metres across but features a few points of interest and makes for a nice way to cross the river in between these two districts in the city. It is also nice viewing the river island while walking the banks of the Tiber on either side.
In addition to a few restaurants and gelataria on the main street which is connected by two bridges, Ponte Cesito on the Trestevere as well as Ponte Fabricio, which is the oldest remaining bridge in Rome being built in 62 BC. You will also find the Baroque Basilica di San Bartolomeo which is nicely anchored on the island yet I don't recall having ever been open for visits during our visits over the years. There is an interesting Guglia di Pio IX (Spire of Pius IX) monument in front of the basilica that is worth a look-see while passing by.

If you want to escape the crowds in the heart of Rome take a walk down the stairs to the bottom of the embankments of the the River and you’ll be surprised at how peaceful and beautiful it is down there!

Super cute little island with historic buildings. The church was under construction so there wasn't much to explore but it was quaint and worth the views from the middle of the river

Rome is crowded. But surprisingly the Tiber is not - the riversides are mostly green and therefore shady and a bit cooler.
And so the Tiber-Island is a location to get some rest when visiting Rome: two Bridges connect the Island with both sides of the City and around the Island is a broad path where people hang out and enjoy their live.
The history of the Island is pretty cool and the only downside is, that because of the old hospital every couple minutes an ambulance swings by.

Isola Tiberina is a beautiful place to visit, especially in the evening when a peaceful walk along the river feels calm and relaxing. The island is home to a hospital, a charming church, and cozy coffee shops. One of the oldest bridges in Rome, Ponte Fabrizio, connects the island to the city. In the summer, you'll also find riverside shops, along with scenic walking and cycling paths — it’s definitely worth a visit.

I liked it because it was just cool. Didn't bother me that they let it get all littered and overrun with weeds. The history and the traces of the old magic were still enough to inspire. Once again, I find myself wishing Rome would not ignore the minor jewels she owns. I am here in Autumn, and I think the brisk air and changing leaves added to the magic.

Yelp
Isola Tiberina is the world's smallest inhabited island-- to get there, you'll cross Rome's oldest original bridge, not far from Capitoline Hill. The island, while cute to stroll around, is also home to a tenth-century basilica, fully operational hospital and annual film fest that will have any modern movie junkie totally enamored. Excellent pasta and you absolutely must try the Basil gelato at Tiberino restaurant!

Yelp
What a crazy cool place! The only island in the Tiber with a church, a hospital, and a michelin star restaurant. What else could you need. The gateway between the Jewish quarter and Travastere. If you go towards the south end you can walk down towards the water. It may used to be a place of condemnation, shrines to gods and what not but it's a great place when the weather is nice

Yelp
Unique, but about the size of a small square 30x30'. 2 shops. One a cappuccino place. Nice church to go inside. But overall could be skipped. At one time it was something. But now the church is really only worth seeing. The bland looking hospital you can get as far as reception, so IMO other things worth more time than this. But you can take a quick r/t from the Vatican (took me an hour) which is a nice walk along the Tiberia.
