"last week she posted shots from New Orleans, an artsy roundup of film-style photos of the singer on city streets, in front of a Budweiser painting in the French Quarter, and at Tic-Toc Cafe, a Metairie diner." - Clair Lorell

"This brightly-painted, 24-hour Metairie diner has long been known for a range of affordable, solid breakfasts under $10 or so, like biscuits and sausage gravy for around $5. There are also burgers, sandwiches, and a few classic diner plates, like a Cajun-smothered pork chop, if you’re looking for a meal other than breakfast. Bring a sense of humor, and check the ever-changing sign out front." - Clair Lorell, Eater Staff

Very nice and pleasant atmosphere, even if to have to wait a little bit in the busy hours. The staff is attentive and friendly. This place is a good option for breakfast, this people know what they are doing:)

The food was delicious. I visited this place three times during my trip to New Orleans. I didn’t like how one of the cooks accused me of lying for a free biscuit. I ordered and paid for an extra one, but it wasn’t in my order. I noticed when I returned to my hotel and came back to show proof of my order with a receipt. When I arrived the third time, I ordered a couple of biscuits, and I felt like someone with three heads with the response I got. I guess the lady was upset that I didn’t tip for such a small order, gave me a cold response, and tossed my order of biscuits. I tipped during my previous two visits. During my first visit, my service was kind and friendly. I’d recommend this place to someone looking for a bite to eat. Some of the workers could improve their customer service etiquette.

My husband and I have always enjoyed coming over here but we live on the Westbank now and it is hard at to go at times. My son was murdered on December 16 and I found out that this place had their sign to reflect it. Being so overwhelmed with gratitude and appreciation we came back after we made our arrangements for his funeral. I thank you so much for your business!

The friendliest wait staff i have ever encountered. Happy joking, just plain enjoying their job. The food is outstanding and more than I can eat in one sitting . The hash browns are made crispy(I love them). Plus, they have apple jelly. Cute sayings and signs. It's not a big place, but it is open 24/7.

I definitely underestimated this little diner off of the interstate. I’m so glad we stopped here. I wish I had an image to post but I ate everything before I thought to take a pic. Friendly staff. Greeted immediately by a tiny Hispanic lady that was a very kind hostess! Felt like my abuela was welcoming me in. 10-15 minute wait time around 9ish on a Sunday morning before a Saints game. I got the breakfast sandwich a la carte. Bacon egg & cheese on a biscuit. The waitresses and waiters never let my coffee get too low. Life is good.

07MAR24 ~ My first time there with a friend on his recommendation. Good food, great waitress, good casual atmosphere. We both left full & happy with the experience. Thank you. Plenty of free parking in front of & on the side of the building. A very pleasant & family friendly atmosphere due to a most pleasant staff and the wall placards. I ordered the Western Omelet & my friend ordered the Trio. We both cleaned out plates leaving us satisfied with both the quantity & quality of our meals. Our waitress, 'Trish', was nothing short of outstanding. Genuinely pleasant and engaging, she always seemed to know when to come by, not too often & not to infrequent. Thank you Tic Toc!

A little hole in the wall diner open 24hrs. The service is to be expected and similar to a Waffle House atmosphere. The food was good for a late night breakfast. Order the Kitchen Sink Hash brown plate and it had literally everything in it but the kitchen sink.

They were busy, but got to us right away. Service was prompt and friendly. They have a great fun vibe, with lots of fun things to laugh at hung on the walls. The food was good solid diner food, just what we wanted. We met the owner on the way out, nice guy added the cherry on top of our experience there. Highly recommend if your in the area.
