We went in as a family and they did not turn us down very friendly and good service and the food is home made very good definitely will put as a favorite when I come to Louisiana ❤️🙏

Google
I have to start by saying that Google reviews are incredibly biased. For example, my reviews actually way more than others because of the level I am on through them. Tonight, I decided to try this restaurant again after a long break. The service and consistency have always been inconsistent to the point where it is less stressful for me to go to Dot's Diner. However, it was after midnight so it was this or IHOP, which is substantially worse although cheaper. When I first walked in, a lady came over and took my drink order. She was very friendly from beginning to end and I have no issue with her at all. She seemed very sweet. From there, however, things got worse and worse. She asked me what kind of cheese I would like on my eggs and I told her to surprise me because whatever she picked would be delicious. Well, my surprise was that there was no cheese on it at all lol!! The meal was decent, but a tad overcooked and definitely not worth $14. Speaking of, when the check finally arrived I went to hand her my debit card and she said that the credit card machine isn't working. She then instructed me to go to an ATM where you have to have a $20 minimum along with a fee. I get paid on Thursdays. I had enough money to cover my meal and leave her a decent tip. Not pay an atm. The cook asked if I would send the money on cash app. They were lucky I actually left my information instead of just leaving, which I could actually do when services that way. I'm just not that type of guy. This place is okay, but it's not great. It seems that all of the 24-hour breakfast places in New Orleans are questionable at best. The lady was very nice, but that was about it. I'm trying to be nicer these days since I have recently surpassed 200,000 views so I took off one point for the debit card issue and another point for the cheese. I don't hate this place. It's just very inconsistent and this time was a gigantic hassle. I attached a picture of my eggs with no cheese. 😁🚫🧀

Google
Plenty of parking available There was a wait for a table but wasn't too long Friendly staff I enjoyed their breakfast sandwich and hash browns It's a hole in the wall type place with yummy food!

Google
The food was delicious. I visited this place three times during my trip to New Orleans. I didn’t like how one of the cooks accused me of lying for a free biscuit. I ordered and paid for an extra one, but it wasn’t in my order. I noticed when I returned to my hotel and came back to show proof of my order with a receipt. When I arrived the third time, I ordered a couple of biscuits, and I felt like someone with three heads with the response I got. I guess the lady was upset that I didn’t tip for such a small order, gave me a cold response, and tossed my order of biscuits. I tipped during my previous two visits. During my first visit, my service was kind and friendly. I’d recommend this place to someone looking for a bite to eat. Some of the workers could improve their customer service etiquette.

Google
Very nice and pleasant atmosphere, even if to have to wait a little bit in the busy hours. The staff is attentive and friendly. This place is a good option for breakfast, this people know what they are doing:)

Google
07MAR24 ~ My first time there with a friend on his recommendation. Good food, great waitress, good casual atmosphere. We both left full & happy with the experience. Thank you. Plenty of free parking in front of & on the side of the building. A very pleasant & family friendly atmosphere due to a most pleasant staff and the wall placards. I ordered the Western Omelet & my friend ordered the Trio. We both cleaned out plates leaving us satisfied with both the quantity & quality of our meals. Our waitress, 'Trish', was nothing short of outstanding. Genuinely pleasant and engaging, she always seemed to know when to come by, not too often & not to infrequent. Thank you Tic Toc!

Yelp
These are the current menus as of 12/3/24. Get the cheese curds. Superior late night burgers. And an atmosphere that says you can feel comfortable wearing sweatpants. Tip your server.
google avatar

Yelp
They are open 24 hours, but DO NOT SERVE DESSERT!!! The whole reason my friends and I went there at almost midnight was to get a dessert after a night of partying. They had no ice cream, pies, or any other typical diner type desserts. Disappointed!
google avatar

Candace M.

Yelp
A little hole in the wall diner open 24hrs. The service is to be expected and similar to a Waffle House atmosphere. The food was good for a late night breakfast. Order the Kitchen Sink Hash brown plate and it had literally everything in it but the kitchen sink.
google avatar

Yelp
The women at the counter were REALLY sweet! However, it took 1.5 hours to get food, after being told it would only take 30 minutes. The burger is, essentially, just a frozen patty. It was very dry with no flavor. The fries were soggy, cold, and had no salt. Will probably not be returning for lunch/dinner food.

Yelp
Cool place to get something quick but tasty to eat. Customer service was great. The cashier was funny and charismatic. She greeted everyone like she knew them for years, even those that were first timers like me. I got a pork chop with eggs and cheese on the side. It hit the spot. I'll be back.

Yelp
This is a solid DINER! I found in my travels around NOLA there a several true diner style places that serve up hot, efficient...just plain good food. This place is one of them. The menu is limited but the do them well. The staff is friendly and all will serve and check on you. And even is the food come outs fast they don't rush you. I would place Tic Toc on a must visit but if in the area and undecided I would definitely recommend. Plus wifi!

Lucille Z.

Yelp
Great food and wonderful service! Very clean surroundings! I Owners are very hospitable! Scrambled Eggs!"

Yelp
While waiting for a table, taking a look around the place, it was apparent that it was filthy. Just look at the air vent in the entry. Looks like it hasn't been cleaned in 50 years. The signs are amusing except the marque made reference to getting a hand job from a hooker. Not really a place you'd take your family for breakfast. Looks like this place caters to the late night crowd. Can't say how the food was as we decided to bail. Don't want to get sick while on vacation. Only reason we tried it was due to its proximity to the hotel. I'd recommend going a couple of miles to some place along Veterans.

Yelp
We needed coffee and they served it up hot n fresh! SO tasty! Small place and busy with takeout orders and dine in patrons. We were seated almost immediately, our waitress KeSha was super nice. Customer service was absolutely delightful. Our coffee cups stayed refreshed. I had the Good Start plate with hash browns, link sausage, and cinnamon raisin toast. YUMMM! I took my time and enjoyed every bite. My hunny had the Down South plate with biscuits and gravy and link sausage. No complaints. Nothing fancy just done right and as I expected. We took our time eating and didn't feel rushed. Others appeared to enjoy their food over light conversation or while reading the newspaper. The waitresses had playful banter with some of the regulars. Such a comfortable environment. We will definitely be back whether late night early morning or midday.

Yelp
Monday morning at 9am. Walked in and immediately met with smiles and "good morning baby, sit wherever you want baby". Very friendly atmosphere and kind servers. Treated everyone the same way. They all seem to get along well together, which obviously makes a difference. My server sat with me to take my order and was just so great! She's funny and I felt like I was with a friend for breakfast. I love her personality! Food came out quickly had hot/fresh. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Start off your day here because my day now has started off great.

Yelp
Leaving Harrah's at 2am, this was a fun energetic atmosphere place to end the night. We had a sassy, lively, loud server (pretty sure she ran the place). So much fun. Food was great, baby!

Isaias A.

Yelp
They have great food and service the food comes out fast theres not much of a wait time. The establishment is clean this place was awesome I highly recommend coming and checking it out.

Yelp
Food was done in a timely manner but I would not recommend this place. I PAID $15.44 for 2 pancakes, 2 eggs and 3 pieces of bacon! Everything was thin! Thin pancakes and thin bacon. I was highly disappointed! My pancakes were rough to pull apart almost like sponge. My eggs didn't have any salt or pepper. My bacon was thin small pieces. I was so sad because $15.00 is a lot of money for this. No drink included

Miranda S.

Yelp
Tic Toc cafe is a diner through and through. It hits different after a night out or coming back from a long night of parades, and the people who work there are so charismatic and great. One word to describe the ambiance is diner, and I mean that in the kindest and most sincere way. The service is great, the people are nice, and the food is yummy!!!
google avatar

Sarah D.

Yelp
This place was quaint, cute, and clean. I would not give the service 5 stars but it wasn't horrible, either. The food was good--not great--but average. The burger was a large (likely frozen) under-seasoned patty. The bun was fresh, which was nice. The fries also appeared to be cooked fresh, but they were also probably your standard frozen fries. I don't think they were salted or seasoned at all. Maybe I am expecting too much from a 24/7 diner, but I've had way better diner food elsewhere. We were the only people there. It was overall just a lackluster experience. There weren't a lot of options for late night eating in the area and we did not want to do the usual Waffle House or IHOP. I would go back and consider trying something else, if I didn't have other options.

Steve R.

Yelp
A good spot to grab a quick breakfast and hit the road. This place has all the feels of a no frills local diner that's been here for decades. Nice selection of breakfast items to choose from. Service is usually good and attentive. The inside is small and a bit crammed which is just fine for me as I usually am in and out with a full belly.

Lauren N.

Yelp
Absolutely delivered! You want a buttery delicious diner meal? They got you. Staff is incredible.

Yelp
This was my first time trying this diner. I love that it's open 24 hours a day! There are not a ton of places to eat after 10pm on a weeknight! I ordered the marinated chicken dinner plate and the country fried steak dinner plate, both to pick up. When we got there to grab our food, the staff inside had their masks pulled down to their chin. Lost a star for me here. Upon getting home with the food, we saw that both orders were wrong. We got a grilled chicken with no marinating and the country fried steak seemed like a pork-based breakfast sausage that had been battered and fried. We were disappointed. I was assured the country fried steak was beef when I ordered it over the phone. The diner was empty when we went to pick up our food, so I doubt I just received someone else's order. Another star lost here. Well, it can't be helped. We were already home, after all. Starving, we dug in. Although it wasn't what we ordered, the food tasted great! Well-seasoned bacon-y green beans, protein prepared properly, and the hash brown was crispy! It was delicious! However, for $12 dinner plates at a diner, the portions weren't very hearty. Diners are supposed to have cheap hearty food, so for a $12 meal, I expect to be kind of full after eating. I have to take off another star here too. The food tasted fantastic and I have no complaints about that, but there are some areas they should work on... Maybe it was just a bad night!

Yelp
Had the pancakes and the French toast. Pancakes are huge and bland the French toast was runny in center. Service was good just not a fan but that's my personal opinion if people like it, great they can have this place. Missing tiffin inn those were the best pancakes.

Yelp
We often frequent this little diner on our visits to New Orleans. The food is always consistent and the service is great. We love their breakfast options. It's a great place to get everything we want in a hot breakfast - omelets, biscuits, grits, pancakes, French toast and sausage. The children don't seem overwhelmed with fancy options. (They like food simple and good.) On our last visit, I chose a simple omelet with mushrooms and Swiss cheese, toast and grits. My mother had scrambled eggs, grits, biscuits and sausage and my sister and her children had the French toast and pancakes platters. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Our waitress was accommodating, and she checked on us often. We plan on visiting New Orleans in the near future and we will be right back at Tic Toc Cafe for another wonderful breakfast.

Yelp
We love this place! Small diner off the highway-but each time it has been good! We always have great service. I don't have pictures for everything we have eaten here. I LOVE their liver & onions. Hard not to order it when we go here. I've had it with side of eggs or side of mashed potatoes. My husband had a dinner plate special one night of their roast beef with mashed and veggies. It was really good! I love the signage throughout and how they Display their love of God

Konrad A.

Yelp
There's a reason this place has been around so long: great food, great service, fair prices, and you never have to worry about it being closed! Love it!
google avatar

Yelp
Nothing like a legit diner. You want that comfort breakfast fare?- Come here. One of the places I will (and do) travel for. The key here is: consistency. They're always on point. I trekked here just the other day for that country-fried steak. Their biscuits are made with love from above. A 24-hour jernt that's here for you when you need them. My order: Country-fried steak, scrambled eggs w cheese, grits; let me say about the grits, the consistency is perfect but they do not season them, at. all. That's my only gripe but the tables are donned with every fixing you could possibly want for your breakfast (salt, pepper, jelly's of different flavors, sugars for your coffee, bbq sauce, hot sauce, ketchup) so you can season to your own liking. I like to lay a base of some eggs on one half of the biscuit, topped with a piece of the CFS and it's just divine. Service is fine, the people are nice and the patrons give me "regular" vibes, they definitely get the neighborhood to come out. One of my favorite gems, highly recommend.
google avatar

Christopher W.

Yelp
As someone earlier posted this place has changed and not for the better. The food here used to be a great basic breakfast, today its bad, very bad, and overpriced. A friend and I came in and ordered the pancake breakfast and it was terrible. The pancakes were undercooked, had burned pieces from a dirty grill. The bacon was ridiculously overcooked and most likely deep-fried because the pieces were all stuck together and so thin they broke apart. The coffee was $3 for a cup, omg, I know prices have gone up these days but this is a dive diner, not Starbucks. Sad its getting harder and harder to find breakfast these days in NOLA.
google avatar

Danielle K.

Yelp
One of my favorite diners ever! They have so many options and they're open 24 hours. Even at 4 in the morning the food was impeccable. I must say I'm a bit addicted. Whether it's grilled cheese or an omelet I leave satisfied and happy. Can't wait to try more items.

Hugh R.

Yelp
The staff really are so nice here and welcoming and they serve the best classics plus a few unique options at any hour. The decorations are pretty hilarious.

Kaleb B.

Yelp
I was here on vacation so I decide to stop by. Service was good. Food was good and came quick. Good portion sizes. Place actually had an atmosphere and was nice to be in. Nothing over the top though. Easy 4/5. Would recommend.

Deborah D.

Yelp
Great food. Friendly staff.Open all hours. On Doordash and they package well also. Liver and onions is the best for sure. Local treasure.
google avatar

Michael K.

Yelp
Really wanted to love this place. Unfortunately we went at lunch for breakfast food. Pancakes tasted like the batter had been sitting around a while and not fresh. Neither was the coffee. We didn't finish our meal and had to walk out after seeing the cook eating with one hand while cooking with the other. Pretty cramped space and not that clean.
google avatar

Lori A.

Yelp
Stopped in for a late breakfast/early lunch. I had the Western Omelette, it was great! Wife got the lunch special, Red Beans and Rice, with a pork chop and a side of broccoli. She loved it. Service was awesome!
google avatar

Yelp
Wow! Has this establishment changed- and not for the better. Came in for breakfast/lunch, got seated, gave our order- and then TicToc!! Literally, after 40 minutes, we asked if our food order was lost. The waitress told us that a big Uber order came in AFTER we were seated... So let me get this straight- if I had ordered UberEats - I would have received my food sooner?!?! Then, another waitress comes over and asked if we want our check- to which we replied, as soon as we get our food! 55 mins later, our food comes. Never asked if we needed coffee refills, water etc. I'll skip this stop next time We are hungry.
google avatar

Court T.

Yelp
Great late night comfort food spot!! I'll be honest we only came here because it was late, we were starving and the place we were planning to go to decide to close early that night. Definitely found our new late night spot though! Great burgers and quick, friendly service! Who needs fast food when you have places like this! Sadly I have no pictures of actual food because we were starving! haha
google avatar

Steven S.

Yelp
I went here for the first time today. I was hungry at 2am and the options are limited. It's your good old classic diner. The place was clean and the lady was nice. I had the chicken fried steak. It came with 2 eggs, hash browns and choice of toast or biscuit. Nothing fancy here. Just real good diner/breakfast food. It's convenient to get to right off Causeway on the svc. rd. If it's super late and your hungry, this place will get you full. Country Fried Steak

LaSunny S.

Yelp
Came early on a Sunday morning. It might have been filled with regulars, but they were friendly. They were NOT the type of regulars that "scowl" at non-regular coustomers, like in many small diners. Similarly, Tic Toc staff were also friendly and efficient. Love the lical diner feel! If you absolutley need to check your Tiktok page at Tic Toc, then wireless is available. Food is good--it's a diner, so it's hard to screw up diner food. Most importantly the place is clean, adding to the tastefulness of the food! Prices are great for economy budget. A wonderful diner experience! Support local, eat here!
google avatar

Howard P.

Yelp
Best local diner. Open 24/7. Tic Top Cafe has it all, great food, and wonderful service My waitress, Ms. Dawn, was friendly, fast, and efficient. She kept my coffee ($2.50) topped off and boy did it taste good. I ordered 2 eggs, corned beef hash, hash browns, and light and fluffy biscuits ($7.95) The meal was scrumptious. Everything was well cooked to order by Owner/Chef Mike. Great value and a fun place to have breakfast.
google avatar

Heather A.

Yelp
Tic Toc Cafe never fails me when I want breakfast or dinner breakfast Service is always excellent & wonderful cafe food!!
google avatar

Tim L.

Yelp
This was a terrible experience. We were super excited based on the reviews, but when we got there we were greeted with a dirty restaurant. To make matters worse that was the only greeting we received. We stood by the sign that said wait to be seated and were never even acknowledged. They didn't even look at us. We walked out right after another person walked. Stay away from this place unless you like no service at all.
google avatar

John L.

Yelp
A group of us came by for breakfast yesterday for breakfast. Home run. Delicious pancakes, eggs, the works. Bacon wasn't as tasty as I would have liked but nothing is perfect. Servers and owner were omnipresent refilling our coffees. Friendly place. We'll go again.
google avatar

Lorena C.

Yelp
For a night time bite you can beat the low key, super chill staff and great eats at Tic Toc. It's nice not to have to go into the city. The food was delicious and they make it once you order so everything is hot and ready. There's parking but depending on where you come from there's a wicked like u turn to get into the lot. Fluffy pancakes and great service. Open late. What's not to love?
google avatar

Chris M.

Yelp
Employees were licking their fingers and eating and handling food without washing their hands. Food was overpriced and mediocre at best. Poor experience for me.
google avatar

Gary O.

Yelp
This place rocks !! Fresh food, excellent portions, Tastes GREAT !! FIVE STARS !!! Best prices too!!!!!
google avatar

Bre B.

Yelp
The pancakes are 3$ a piece because they're HUGE, fluffy, sweet, and sooooo good! My whole breakfast was fire! It was very much so worth every penny.

Jazmin T.

Yelp
JUST SO YOU KNOW!!!! I know some people aren't always going to be happy with the condition of the place for their first time going. As I read on some of the reviews "not what I expected", but what can you do? Nothing of course. Not all restaurants are going to be exact based on your eyes expectations. So, just remember! sometimes old places have the best food !!! The Food was amazing. I enjoyed it very much after a morning breakfast craving ! Thank you so much and keep up the good work !
google avatar

D M.

Yelp
Had the all meat omelette with a side of corn beef hash. Food was fresh, hot, and tasty. Grits were also good. Small quaint diner with lots of personality. Our waitress was fast, courteous, and very funny. Prices are fair and coffee was great. I'll be back.
google avatar

Amber V.

Yelp
Warning staff wasn't wearing their masks during pandemic. I understand that they have a cook who can't wear a mask due to medical reasons. But the 3 waitresses on duty wear wearing their mask pulled down below the chins the entire time. No thanks, it made me feel unsafe to eat there. This sucks because I really used to enjoy grabbing a late night bite from here.

Breann C.

Yelp
Been waiting for over an hour for my burger I ordered while the wait staff talk and laughs with each other and other staff and guest! I don't know what took so but nobody was in there and still had to wait horrible service!

Buddy M.

Yelp
Outstanding service and food besides the fact there's cops in there regularly!!! Thanks for that lol
google avatar

Mike L.

Yelp
Hole-in-the-wall of all hole-in-the-walls but fantastic service, great food, no music blaring in your ears - so you can actually talk - and the sort of atmosphere that immediately makes you feel like a regular. It has plenty of parking - where you can actually see your car while you're eating - and is located just off Causeway near the interstate. And it's very easy to get to, even during rush hour, via the South I-10 Service road or West Napoleon. I got the bacon cheese burger with fries, another guy got the pattie melt and two of our group got a breakfast. Everybody was happy with their order and the service and, before we left, it was proclaimed "A keeper." We will definitely be back and recommend it as the place to go when you just want a great down home meal with none of the fuss or bother of larger, pricier places.
