10 of the Most Myrtle Beach Restaurants in Myrtle Beach | Eater

"This popular local brewery covers all the bases. There are all of the brats and burgers you’d expect at an elevated brewpub, plus Reubens, crab cakes, and pierogis (each with a pairing suggestion from the in-house beer list). But they also roast their own coffee and open early with a full breakfast menu, from omelets to burritos. Kids and dogs abound on the vast lawn and outdoor seating area, making Tidal Creek the spot to catch your breath after a full day of go-karts and putt-putt, or a comfortable place to park it and never leave."

We arrived at a great time, about 3 in the afternoon, not much of a crowd at all. We had some great tacos and enjoyed the nice restaurant/ brewery. Definitely worth trying out! Kudos for having a beer in honor of the Army Rangers.. RLTW

Bald Sauerkraut

Google
Found this place looking around close to our hotel. Wanted something local and different, glad we did. The service was fast, the kids enjoyed their grub (bit of an FYI the kid’s burger is like slider sized so if you have a big eater like mine order the adult sized), Food was GREAT! on par with a better restaurant, and the beer was cold. Don’t worry about the heat they set up fans outside on the patio and it’s well covered. Honestly it was a good place and definitely a step above our choices near our hotel (this was a 5min drive from where we were staying).

Looking for a burger spot with ratings above 4.5 🌟, then this is your place. I honestly can't even tell you what the name of my drink was but it was sour. I want to say the #11 but don't quote me. All I know is everything was delicious. My wife ordered the mushroom Swiss burger(not pictured). And the #9 beer. I ordered the classic burger. The burger was cooked to perfection. Not well done and not burned. And it was juicy. The service was amazing. I don't drink beer and know nothing about it. So they were very helpful in recommending options for me. I highly recommend this place. They do have an outdoor section that I didn't get a chance to partake in because we had to get on the road home.

Google
Great little hidden away place, drove by many times. We checked it out, just had cocktails, but the food looked good. Caleb was our server, excellent service. Worth checking out, will be back for lunch.

Google
This place is amazing! I had time after landing in Myrtle beach to have lunch and drinks. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beer selection was great. Their menu has something for everyone. Even my children enjoyed the food. I would recommend stopping by for a bite to eat .

Google
Tidal Creek is my favorite spot to get work done while enjoying great coffee, delicious food, and fast WiFi! We spent a few hours here catching up on work and couldn’t have asked for a better atmosphere. The coffee was fantastic, the food was fresh and tasty, and the staff made the experience even better. Chris went above and beyond to help with our order and made sure we had everything we needed!

Google
Been here a couple times and both times the beer has been good, and the food has been great. The flight and food was a little pricey, but considering the location and how good everything was, I wasn't too upset. Whether you're a local or a tourist, this is a great place to check out.

Love the atmosphere. The hummus is delicious. Shrimp tacos so yummy. My old man ate with me and had a doggy bowl of rice and meat from the menu. Love that it's Dog friendly. 🐕 💋

Yelp
Delicious food and great atmosphere in the beer garden. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Yelp
Food was delicious and everyone is kind and patient. Philip is great! I recommend the pink mhocktini!

Yelp
The beer was cold and delicious. Although the place was busy, service was attentive and staff was very friendly. My issue was how loud it was. This felt more like a McDonalds play place than a brewery. Kids were screaming, running around, and some kids even were covering their ears because it was so uncomfortable. I'd say this is a great place to have a drink if you have kids, otherwise this isn't really a relaxing environment.

Yelp
She Crab Soup with a Crafty Twist Tried the she crab soup at Tidal Creek Brewhouse and it came out piping hot--a big plus in my book! The base was just right in consistency--not too thick, not too thin--and loaded with generous chunks of lump crab. Flavor-wise, it was solid and satisfying. That said, it's not my personal #1. I tend to prefer a little more sherry, a bit less sweetness, and a punchier Cajun or Creole kick. But preferences aside, this is still a worthwhile bowl! The staff was on point--brought out Pete's Hot Sauce and a pepper shaker without me having to ask. And the space? Perfect for a laid-back afternoon with plenty of draft beer options, cocktails, and even a barista if you want to mix things up. #TidalCreekBrewhouse #SheCrabSoup #CrabLoversUnite #SoupAndBeer #CraftBrewVibes #HotSoupHotSauce #ComfortFood #FoodieStop #LowCountryEats #SoupReview #BreweryEats #MyrtleBeachEats #NotTooThickNotTooThin #FlavorMatters

Yelp
This is cool spot with live music and outdoor seating. An actual brewhouse where you can see the brewing set up. We had drinks and some food. The michelada was meh and more Bloody Mary mix and pepper than I am used to. The coastal crush cocktail was great! They also have some spritzer lemonades and refreshing sweet tea. I recommend you order a side of buffalo with the wings if you are like me and like them a bit more spicy. The seared tuna was okay but a bit over cooked tho. The brewmaster burger was the bizz! The service was great as well as the servers were attentive Recommend this place for friends or family gatherings

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick happy hour drink for afternoon. Happy hour pricing is great and their happy hour menu is extensive. They offer beer and liquor flights. They have different seating options from high top table and chairs to regular table and chairs, couches and chairs, as well as outdoor seating. It's a counter service bar so you place your order at the bar and get your drinks from the bar and they bring your food to your table. Staff came around to make sure we were still doing good and asked if we wanted anything else. Drinks and food we tried were delicious.

Jessica M.

Yelp
Food was hit or miss! Burgers and wings were burnt! Burger was not even edible! Pretzel tasted like it was frozen and they heated too long in the microwave! But there is no service to help you, so no one to tell. You have to go to the bar yourself for anything. Appetizers brought at same time the food was, and the servers could have cared less. Update: Dara~ read your response~ kinda sums up the feeling we received when we visited! We went to the brew house in Murrells inlet a few nights before and it was a totally different experience! So don't think it had anything to do with the "brew house vibe" but thanks for being so kind! And we did try to tell the waiters who brought our food out~ but like I said they could have cared less!

Yelp
We stopped here before flying home from Myrtle Beach. It looks like a cool place, maybe to have a few beers after work or a little friends get together. As far as the breakfast, I would give it 2 stars. I really don't think breakfasts are where they're getting all their good reviews. Or it could have been an off day or new chef or something. We had two orders of crab eggs Benedict. One served just the way it comes, One served on sour dough bread. Both orders were missing one egg. (Strange) I think they broke (2)two of the eggs and just put what was left on to pass as an egg. At any rate, it didn't taste bad, and we didn't get sick before our flight, so that was a good thing. I would definitely give them a second chance, but for now, 3 stars.

Yelp
A Wednesday morning breakfast stop (10am). A brewery that was open so we had to stop. What we liked: * Cute little place with options . Beer and coffee house. * Beer was good. * The staff was amazing. Friendly and helpful. What could of been better: * The bagels were just eh, could have been toasted a bit more. Overall liked the place and would go back.

Yelp
I was looking for a coffee shop and I found this instead. It's a brewery with coffee and food. It is cozy inside (possibly due to being around the holiday season and the lighting is soft right now). There is lots of outdoor seating and so inside too. They also have a dog park and a few outdoors areas that look like they might be for outdoor activities. There is an option to order from you table on your phone, otherwise you go to the window or inside to the counter and order there. I am interested to try some beer another time. It looks like there is a nice selection. It was busy-ish inside but there was no one outside (middle of the day at the end of December). I ordered the lunch special with a cup of beef broccoli soup (very flavorful - I would order it again - it was the soup of the day) and the pulled pork sandwich. The portions were very satisfying. The sandwich was excellent - the bun was toasted so it had a really nice texture with a mild but satisfying crunch, and the pork (they said is smoked in house) was lightly seasoned and slightly tangy (a nice change from the sweet barbecue that you tend to expect) and it had a slaw (broccoli I think) that gave a really nice flavor and a really great mouth feel. I would definitely try this again too. I also ordered a drip coffee flight with regular, lavender, mocha and brown sugar cinnamon flavors. The coffee is ok for drip coffee (a bit acidic and weaker than my normal espresso but no funky flavors) and it comes with milk on the side so you can adjust to your own preference. I would say the focus is definitely on the beer and the food and not so much the coffee. I think it would be a fun place to come to for dinner and a drink with friends. I hope to come back sometime with a few people and try out some of the beer.

Yelp
Another stop on the long Myrtle Beach Beer Trail. They have all kinds of beers (theirs), wines, cocktails, and coffees -- something for everyone! I wished we could have stayed longer, but our trip was a short one. Fortunately, we'd seen their beers at restaurants and taphouses all over the city, so I'd actually tried a few before arriving here. The Trimaran Triple was one of the best Belgian tripels I've had in quite some time. If you like strong, hoppy beers, try this one. If not, there are twenty other beers on the menu.

Yelp
Great shrimp tacos! Had beer, pretzel and fried chicken sandwich too. All good. Would return.

Yelp
Authentic brewery in Myrtle Beach. Delicious beers (and prosecco) with a yummy brunch menu (p.s. per state law they can not serve alcohol before 10am on Sundays) in a cute and cozy atmosphere. The staff is super friendly and personable, this is our place whenever we visit Myrtle Beach.

Yelp
Found this gem hidden away behind Market Common and was so happy to find it. Not only is it dog friendly but it has a great outdoor vibe. There isn't as much space on the inside so do try to come early if it rains! We can in on a rainy night and decided we had been dying for a good burger and it was amazing. The burgers were tender and flavorful and the fries were crispy. I really enjoyed the Espresso Martini I ordered and can't wait to come back. The staff was super helpful in helping us to chose what to get and we definitely will be back

Yelp
Stopped by on the way to the how after landing in Myrtle Beach. It was after 7pm so parking was great and no problem getting a seat. This an order at the counter place so be aware. It's all god very friendly service and a great beer selection. Yes they had a stout so I was happy. We both had the crab cakes on a fried green tomato. It was delicious. The place is a bit rustic and has a very maritime decor. Looks like a lively place on the weekends.

Yelp
Starting my morning here once is a must when I visit from NJ. I absolutely love the coffee and mimosa flights. The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. My friend has the Bloody Mary flight and it is perfect. Pancakes and breakfast sandwich are tasty.

Yelp
Up from Savannah for a birthday weekend and this is our first stop on Saturday at 11:30 am. Easy to find, plenty of parking. Clean, cute ambiance, friendly staff. Alcohol and coffee in the same place! Order at the bar and then pop a squat somewhere. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Yelp
Had two chicken tacos and a local craft ipa. Both were delicious! Wish I could stop by regularly because I would be here!

Yelp
We had a lovely time at Tidal Creek. We were visiting from out of town and stopped in on Friday night. During our visit, we had a flight and a couple of pints. We sat out side at first, then relocated to the back. There was a very talented musician playing guitar and singing. The beers were wonderful and the staff was very friendly. We loved it so much that we actually came back the next day. We sat inside this time and had a couple of pints during happy hour. We also ordered some fried pickles. The pickles themselves were good. We think they were a tad greasy, and the oil needed to be changed. Other than that, they were good. Now, the ranch they serve them with was really good. We didn't ask if it is premade or house made, but we sure did love it. Again, great staff and wonderful beer. On our way out, we met the owner. He was also very nice. We expressed how much we loved the place, the people, and the beer. We also told him we wish we lived in the area and that we'd join their beer program. If you live near, it is worth looking into.

Yelp
When I came in, there wasn't anyone there to greet me so it was confusing about if I should seat myself or wait. When I ordered, they were very friendly. The place is cute inside. I ordered the Crab Cakes Benedict since it was Sunday Brunch. I liked the salad dressing and the flavor of the crab cakes. However, the food wasn't super hot. Also, the whites of the egg weren't fully cooked and the croissant was incredibly burnt. This was disappointing for $20. I don't feel like waiting in the line of people ordering to complain plus I was starving so I just ate what I could.

Yelp
We ate here for dinner and to check out their drink options. We have 2 little ones (age 4 and 2) so we only go out occasionally and make sure the places are kid friendly and have children's menus. This place....wow, 10/10!! I was sold when I saw their play area! Our children had the BEST time! I got to finish my meal, which was absolutely delicious!!! I got to finish my drinks!! Which was a sample flight of their beers. I also got to have a conversation with my husband and we even got to talk with some out of town families also enjoying the place. Such a refreshing place and everything was SPOT ON! Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area. Definitely recommend as a local spot. And if you have little ones and need to actually enjoy a restaurant, this place is a MUST!!

Yelp
Best Brewhouse in Myrtle Beach! Great crafted beers, their food is a cut above other breweries, and their dog friendly outdoor spaces make for a wonderful experience. Great place to frequent and to bring your friends and visitors to impress!

Yelp
The search for a local brewery that serves craft brew AND handcrafted cocktails brought us to Tidal Creek Brewhouse at The Market Commons. It was HH when we went, so we definitely took advantage of that. Drinks were great, and the food overall was pretty good. Favorites here included: Honey Bee's Knees Grand Stand IPA and Harmonic Hefeweizen Fried pickles, brat bites, and brewmaster burger Pro tip: Check out their daily specials- They have some good deals like BOGO crowlers from 4-8 pm daily.

Nancy J.

Yelp
This is a dog friendly place. The food was excellent and the service was great. The outdoor seating was perfect on a warm cloudy day.
google avatar

Kristie L.

Yelp
Great location and vibe. Lots of families, very relaxed, nice live music- not too loud, familiar tunes and nicely played. We opted for seats in the yard, so we used a QR code and placed our own order. Tried 3 beers, got cod tacos, chicken tacos, Swiss burger, pulled pork Sammy, and a chicken sandwich. Everything came out in quick time and with all of our requests(pickles, bbq sauce, etc) Not a lot of interaction with staff as we ordered on our phone, but the runner was working super hard and was friendly. Felt like most people knew someone there, it's tucked in a neighborhood. Great food great beer.
google avatar

Nay W.

Yelp
Separate menus along wall to order. I was greeted & given the brunch menu once at the counter. I ordered & sat at the bar. Food arrived quickly & was very tasty. I ate every single bite. I then ordered 5 5oz pours. (4 were in a flight holder.) [TCB is a member of arryved.] I've been up since 5am w/ 4hours of sleep so i ordered a cappuccino w/ brown sugar cinnamon added. I didn't touch it for at least 5min. The cup was hotter than i expected. (Good) I removed the top so it could cool off before burning my lip or tongue lol

Yelp
There is a nice selection of different brews on tap plus several small batches brews on hand. I had Bloodlines small batch west coast IPA with blood orange. We also had some happy hour apps which were delicious. Brat Bites and Mini Crab cakes were fantastic.
google avatar

Melinda B.

Yelp
Ok so most breweries food is an afterthought and I'm not mad; however this place has some of the best food to pair with their beer. I started with a IPA flight and ordered their shrimp tacos with onion rings. You order your food and drinks at the bar however their service is excellent. They also offer outdoor seating. This place is located not too far from the airport which makes this the perfect spot to stop through when you arrive in Myrtle Beach.

Chryl P.

Yelp
Amazing. The best espresso martini I've ever had. Fun atmosphere and friendly staff. Had the Carolina ruben. It was delicious. Our daughter loved the French fries

Kevin B.

Yelp
The food was good, however, service was very slow and everything was extremely expensive. Far pricier than what one would expect for sandwiches and coffee.

Cherylann L.

Yelp
We love everything about Tidal Creek! Food is always good, Beer so good and the staff are awesome! We sat outside on the back porch and it was so nice and relaxing!
google avatar

Steve R.

Yelp
First time visit. Went for happy hour and DJ Bingo. Nice place, basically self serve. Limited menu, thought it was very expensive for what you got. The bingo was a lot of fun.
google avatar

Heidi M.

Yelp
The food here is really good. The fries are lightly breaded, not too greasy, and the pretzels are dense, but super delicious! The staff are really friendly and there are areas to eat inside, with a bar, and places outside to eat, along with a Pavillion with lounge space, grass, and musical performers. There's also a small area for pets. This place is a must stop!
google avatar

Amy K.

Yelp
Great beers, great food, great ambiance, great service! Definitely, would come back! Loved the energy of this place, the staff was so friendly and welcoming! The food was so good and paired perfect with the beers we had.
google avatar

Chris H.

Yelp
(3.8) Nice place, good location, food was good and drinks well done! Staff was very nice as well. Only disappointment was not a single American flag within eye sight but they were sure to display a giant Ukrainian flag. On the other hand, they'll gladly take your $40 American dollars for a drink or two and a burger. So I would encourage you to consider where you spend your hard earned AMERICAN dollars. Wonder what would happen if I tried to pay them in Ukraine Hryvna where 1 = $0.02 cents. Could've had drinks and lunch for cheap!
google avatar

Kecia M.

Yelp
Love coming back to Myrtle Beach and this great brewery. Great brews! Great food! Lots of room inside and outside including a beer garden outside.
google avatar

Kim S.

Yelp
This spot is right next to the airport in The Market Commons and we've been a few times now. This was the only food pic I've bothered to take but the shrimp and grits are with a grit cake instead of a bowl of grits, definitely needed a photo. The flavors and textures were perfect. Highly recommend. We've also enjoyed the burger and pretzel. Both were excellent. We enjoy their beer choices and they have a cocktail list and wine for non-beer drinkers. The food is so good, we've been even when we couldn't drink due to flying. We've sat at the bar every time because we like the service but they have a lot of options, inside and outside, to enjoy the weather, games, or music. They have a water station to get your own water and they have to-go cans in the coolers ready to take. Enjoy!

Yelp
This is my favorite stop at Market Common! Whenever we visit Myrtle Beach (3-4 times a year) we stop by Tidal Creek on multiple occasions either to start the day with coffee or sit down for lunch. If we are just getting coffee, we bring our dogs and order from the very convenient walk up, outside service window. We will then stroll the large Market Common lake - a great spot complete with a new playground. Their food is definitely made fresh. Today, I tried the wings because I had a five dollar off coupon - be sure to join their free rewards program! The wings were great, cooked perfectly and no fat at all. My wife had a chicken salad sandwich and really enjoyed it. We also shared the coastal pretzel, which was was big, fluffy, and a unique whole grain style of bread. It was very good! On weekends they have a large outdoor seating area with a beer trailer parked right there. They have tables, benches and I believe a swing or two. It's a great place to chill! They also have a fenced in dog area for your four-legged friends to hang out. Tidal Creek Brewery is awesome. We will always visit multiple times whenever we are in town!
google avatar

Jules B.

Yelp
Great beer selection -- even ciders for the non beer drinkers like me! The food was also surprisingly fantastic (I say surprisingly because it's a brewery!). The shrimp and grits are wonderful; I highly recommend. They have several outdoor areas as well as a great indoor area. They had live music when we went and also a nice little play area for kids. We look forward to returning!
google avatar

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
Great beer, tons of seating options, and nice staff. Out of all the breweries I visited in Myrtle Beach, this was one of my favorites.
google avatar

Gina B.

Yelp
Nice place we stop while riding during Harley. bike week. I have one of their cocktails- the coastal crush. I'll highly recommend it . My husband had a beer. While we were there around lunch someone ordered a club sandwich that looked very good. Needless to say it's not on the dinner menu when we went back a few days later. We will go back next time we're the beach to get the club sandwich.
google avatar

Ryan C.

Yelp
Great place for having both a coffee and a beer on tap. Their mead beer was one of the best beers I have had. Too bad it was small batch because I could drink that often. Now it is gone... Nice atmosphere and patio areas. They also have a separate patio area past the parking lot. Cannot comment on the food however since I did not eat here. I have been here twice and enjoy this place.

Rajeev S.

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic India Pale Lager (IPL). Hats off to the brew master for this terrific creation. Well done. Hurry up and get this small batch brew before it's gone for good. Too bad the brewery would not make me a crowler to take home on the flight (checked bag) and I understand!

Yelp
Went to visit Tidal Creek during a trip to Myrtle. LOVED this brewery!! The beer was delicious and I loved how there is a full menu. My friend and I had the crab cakes and pierogis. Everything was delicious! Loved that there are indoor and outdoor areas as well. Wish I could have Tidal Creek breweries back home! There are also wine for those who don't want to drink beer. Highly recommend!

Yelp
We really lucked out that the first two places we tried to go were closed. We were not very familiar with Market Common - so just tried to find places close to us. 2 different attempts - both closed. That frustration turned around completely when we came across Tidal Creek. Very fun atmosphere - can only imagine it's even better when the weather is better and you can enjoy the outside. The inside is fun with board games as well. We were quite hungry when we got there. So we immediately ordered some pretzels and the Dockside snack Tray! The flavor of the pretzel was only surpassed by the amazing mustard and cheese - our table debated which was better and came to the agreement they were both awesome! The snack tray included hummus and pimento cheese....another debate which also landed on them both being awesome! They have a great selection of different styles of beers. We started with a flight so we could try several of them and then we each got our own pints. The staff was all super friendly. Food and drinks came our very fast. We ordered way too much food, but everything from the salads to the beach house Cubano to the pulled pork sandwiche - all were really good. Two notes - not negative - just for awareness. One person with us is a cubano aficionado from his time in the military- He said it was delicious but used the wrong type of bread. It was served on sour dough (indicated on the menu). Again, just for awareness in case you are a cubano snob:) The other note is on the pulled pork sandwich - I am a sauce guy, so I found the sandwich to be a bit light on the sauce - still great, but if you like a fair amount of BBQ, you may want to ask for a side. We are all looking forward to our annual trip to the area for another visit to this fun little brewery!

Yelp
Had lunch here in the summer. Food was very good. Restaurant was crowded with non-locals. Will go back again.

Angela P.

Yelp
The atmosphere of this place is so fun and inviting. And the cold brews/lattes are unmatched in the market common area. We tried the grand strand coffee shop in market common before finding this gem. Doesn't even compare. If you're looking for good coffee don't waste your time looking any further in the area. The barista and owner are so nice and pleasant to deal with.
google avatar

Cayla R.

Yelp
This place was everything I hoped for and more! I loved that we could order flights of coffee, alcohol, or hey, both! They had gluten free options and alternative dairy choices for us pain in the allergens. I ordered the shrimp and grits and hubby ordered the eggs Benedict. Both were fantastic! We also tried the mimosa flight, which I appreciated included a seltzer mix so that I could also try more than the traditional. The atmosphere it super cool, the people are friendly, and they have a dog friendly area. We can't wait to return with our pups!

Yelp
Absolutely awesome Beer!!! Absolutely awesome FOOD!! Try the She Crab soup! Exquisite!! Absolutely awesome service!!! Absolutely the worst, uncomfortable bar stools.
