Had the paella. Definitely willl order again, but it serves 2 people. Alot of food.

I have been to Colombian restaurants in Philly and NJ as well as Colombia and I've never waited 4o minutes for my food to come out. There were 13 people total in the restaurant with two waitresses. The one we got needs EXTENSIVE training. After putting in our order she stood by and I saw her serve the other tables. When our food FINALLY arrived, she did not take the least bit notice that my order had not been delivered. I sat patiently for another 10 min as she went to the other tables never checking in with ours until I had to call over the other waitress who discovered that she never put my order in and if have to wait ANOTHER 20 MINUTES??? uh...no thanks. And how does a COLOMBIAN restaurant mess up a COLOMBIAN coffee??? My husband ordered coffee and it was burned. There are other Colombian restaurants one can patronage that give far better service. I gave it 3 stars because at least the music was authentic along with the wall art,and it presented itself as a clean establishment.

Let’s dive in. Appetizers selection is diverse for the vegetarian. They have delicious fresh natural juices (made on the spot.) Yummy. My go to meal is the snapper fish. It is delicious. Just need to be careful with the bones. It comes with rice, tostones, and salad. For the meat eater, I recommend the skirt steak. Order to your perfection. This is served with tostones, rice, beans and a salad. Plates range between $20-30. Food is plentiful. I give this restaurant a 4 out of 5. Until next time. God bless. 💕

My wife and I opted for takeout, but the experience left me quite disappointed. The online prices didn't match what we paid, and upon reaching my hotel, I realized they got my order wrong, I ordered pork chops but received fried cut-up pork. Despite the letdown, the customer service was commendable, with a bilingual staff member who spoke both English and Spanish.

Found them on Google and I'm so glad that we decided to stop in! Quite possibly the best Colombian food we have ever had, and we've been to quite a few places. In particular, the bandeja paisa, arepa de choclo and the natural juices we're very much on point. Highly recommend and will definitely come back!

This place was so much better than we expected, the food was a 10/10, so delicious and fresh. The bread was insanely good!! The decor was so cute and it felt like it transported me from that plaza. Would 100% be back if im in the area.

I visited this place for the first time today and I ordered and was treated nicely although I had to translate to order. At the very end of my meal I noticed a very racist and anti black painting on the wall to my horror and distaste. Very small restaurant with a lot of pretty wall decoration and a large take out service. I enjoy trying new places and experiencing food from different cultures. This is a great place with authentic cuisine. We started with the chicken Empanadas which were crispy on the outside and full of delicious flavors on the inside. I'm sorry we didn't try the beef and cheese ones...maybe next time. The seafood paella was full of shrimp, octopus, mussels and chorizo over seasoned rice with fried onions, red peppers and peas. The chorizo was so good I got a few to take home. The ropa vieja was beef which was slow cooked to the point of falling apart and melting in your mouth with potatoes and a side of rice. There were three in my party and we all had at least seconds and still had some leftovers. Very enjoyment meal and would recommend.

Always on a quest to try interesting and unusual cuisines - we thoroughly enjoyed a Sunday Colombian lunch here. We started with chicken empanadas, then split the seafood paella and the ropa vieja, a savory beef stew with tender chunks of meat and roasted potatoes. It was loud, crowded and so much fun. Everyone there was enjoying their meals. Loved the mango drink and ended with the tres leches cake. So happy we chose this tiny family-run restaurant.

This has been on my radar for a long time so I'm so pleased to report the food was excellent. This is a tiny, family run restaurant with just 10-12 tables so be prepared to sit elbow to elbow if you arrive during their busy times. Lively music was playing and it can get pretty loud. They appear to do lots of takeout business. Food was absolutely flavorful! This was my best meal out in a very long time.

Took a little trip across the bridge from PA to Joisy to pick up some items order online. Thanks to my fellow yelpers, found this restaurant for lunch about a 3 minute drive away. Man, I could eat at this place every week and be a happy camper! The food was sooo flavorful and delicious. Every item on our plates was cooked well and seasoned to perfection. Despite not speaking the same language, we were able to communicate our needs and received good and friendly service from our waitress. The other diners all seem to be enjoying their meals. And, our portions were big enough to enjoy the deliciousness at another meal. Would return without hesitation!

We went to the new location in somerdale & loved the ambiance pf the restaurant. Everything was beautifully decorated and very clean. The food was mid tier, empanadas were a fare price but not super notable. The rice and bean combo was the best thing i tried. We will probably not be heading back anytime soon.

Ridiculously overpriced for what you get PLUS they add a table service fee on top of the tip (for 3 people). If you've been to a Colombian restaurant before, you 100% know you are overpaying here.

Small place with limited seating but delicious food. Ordered takeout and did not call ahead to order (note to self will do this next time). They said the wait was gonna be about 15 minutes but it was considerably longer (restaurant was packed though). I ordered the #10 bandeja Tierra Colombia and flan. Everything was cooked perfectly and very flavorful although the rice portion was huge...def did not need all that rice. Will definitely be back to try more dishes.

The staff were super friendly and kind. The food quality and taste amazing The size of the Bandeja paisa was good for one person. The ambiance was good, salsa music playing. Definitely recommend 100% authentic Colombian food.

Great little spot for some authentic Spanish food in Pennsauken. Walked in and were sat immediately, server was great (there is a little bit of a language barrier). Food came out quick and was really good. Generous portions and delicious all the way around. Skip chipotle and come here!

I had a work trip to New Jersey and found this nice Colombian restaurant to go to. My mom's family is from Colombia and the food here is so good that it reminded me of my aunt's food in Bogota that I hadn't had since 2012. This was my favorite place to eat out of my 3 nights in New Jersey. The music was wonderful, the figurines on the wall I hadn't seen since I was last in Colombia 10 years ago. Everything was authentic Colombia.

While the 30 empanadas I ordered for a party were okay. The customer service here is absolutely terrible. I looked online at their website prior to ordering and their empanadas are listed for $1.25 each. So I called to place my order for the next day for 15 beef and 15 chicken empanadas, thinking the price was going to be about $38. The girl on the phone never gave me a total and I should have asked but was working and forgot. I received a called the next day 15 minutes prior to pick up that they didn't have any beef, but could do 10 cheese annd 20 chicken instead, which I agreed too. When my friend picked up the order the next day she was charged $60. (She was unaware of what the total was supposed to be so she didn't question it while there.) I called to voice my concern about her being charged over $20 more than I was expecting and the "boss" I was given to was extremely rude and unapologetic. She repeatedly informed me that the website is 13 years old and the prices in store are different. In fact, she told me I "got a good deal" because the empanadas are now (not even a week later) over $2 each. After explaining to her several times that I wasn't given a total on the phone beforehand and that I didn't pick up the order otherwise I would have brought it up in store, she refused to offer any type of solution to make things right and continued to make rude remarks. If you're looking to be lied to and charged whatever price they feel like charging that day...this is the place to go!

We ordered the bandeja Paisa and the breaded chicken (pechuga empalizada) which brings rice, beans, salad and a choice of tostones or maduros Omg the beans were so delicious and the breaded chicken was so tasty with big portions.

Food was absolutely amazing, I'm in love with # 32 ( ropa vieja) !! They have a few seats outdoor, so nice during this weather! Drinks are served by the can so no free refills, however I loved it!! You definitely want to brush up on your Spanish before you go though ! Make your life and your waitress life easier. Very Friendly !

One of the top dining experiences I have had during the year+ of the pandemic has been in the wonderful little Colombian restaurant Mi Tierra Colombia located between Camden and Merchantville, NJ. Though it's situated off a busy highway in a small shopping center it offers many culinary delights worth seeking it out. Soon after you step into the colorful dining room filled with Colombian artifacts, you will be warmly greeted. And then comes the food. The Yuca Rellena to start with was totally tasty and one of the best yuca dishes I have ever enjoyed. But even this was topped by a terrific version of the Colombian classic Cazuela de Mariscos. This elaborate seafood stew was delicious to the very last spoonful. Sides of rice, tostones, and salad accompanied the feast. And all of this is at a very fair price. You can dine inside or outdoors, but dining at Mi Tierra Colombia I think you will find delicious in either location. This is my favorite Colombian restaurant in the Philadelphia area.

The best thing about getting a Covid vaccine in Cherry Hill? Getting some bandeja paisas at Mi Tierra Colombia! Ok...maybe second best thing...but you get it. I had this place on my list to visit forever because there are such few Colombian restaurants in the S. Jersey/Philly area and had read great things. Well, I am happy to report that they were all correct. I have only had the bandeja paisa (came here twice), but it has been consistently amazing! It is the most traditional Colombian dish which includes: rice, red beans, pork rinds, steak, chorizo, and plantains. Yes, you get two full meals out of it (or one giant feast) for $14-ish. I also had some pan de bonos (which were just ok, but not bad). Service was to go everytime, but super friendly. As others have mentioned they have indoor and outdoor seating and the place is tiny but cute. I am excited to come back and try out other dishes!

Everyone must know that the hidden culinary gems are in strip malls. Right?! Well this one is! Chorizo, several types of empanadas, plátanos, and a shrimp dish that was off the charts. All with the distinct flavors of Colombia! The owners are also gems: very personable! Highly recommend.

This is my favorite Colombian place in South Jersey. From their appetizers to their meals and desserts, everything is authentic and made with high quality ingredients. In my experience the food is prepared fresh and it's served piping hot (just like I like it!). My go to dishes for lunch or dinner are the Bandeja Paisa or Flank Steak, and I always buy Pan de Bono and guava pastries to go. My family loves them. Make sure to stop by and enjoy delicious authentic Colombian food at Mi Tierra Colombia. You won't be disappointed.

I was recommended to this restaurant from a coworker. I was very excited to try it. A full menu was a bit hard to find. The pictures didn't look great. My daughter went on you tube to get recommendations. We tried the grilled skirt steak, all 3 different empanadas, seafood stew, yucca rellena, chicken soup, and platter #10( chicharron, steak, and chorizo). The grilled skirt steak with sauce was good. It came with rice. To me it was more like a pot roast. It had yucca in it. It was tasty. The empanadas were a little dried. It didn't have much flavor to it. The seafood stew was very tasty. It was good as recommended. The yucca rellena was dried. It didn't have much flavor to it. The chicken soup was a bit salty for my taste. It also had noodle and peas in it. It was interesting. Platter #10 was ok. The chicharron was ok. It didn't have much taste to it. Maybe I'm so used to eating the Chinese crispy pork. The steak was thin. It was ok. The chorizo was tasty. Overall I spent $75 for the whole order. I thought it was a bit pricey. The language barrier was a bit of a problem. I ordered 1 yucca rellena. I was given 2 and charged with 2. I ordered 2 empanadas and ended up with 3 also charged. The food was ok. I wouldn't be rushing back anytime soon.

I don't know why this place never popped up on my Yelp radar until last weekend. I was with my wife, father in law and brother in law and we were in the general area so we gave Mi Tierra Colombia a go. The place is in a little strip mall on route 130 and Browning Ave. It is also tiny, it probably can seat 15 at the most and that would be tight. Mi Tierra Colombia is also pretty nice inside, with rustic Colombian charm and decorations. We were the only gringos in the place, or I was the only gringo, my wife and in-laws being Filipino. Usually a decent sign that the food is good and authentic. Mi Tierra Colombia is BYOB but they have some really great fresh fruit drinks such as soursop, guava, lemon, etc. We had empanadas as an appetizer. These had a lot flavor and were not greasy. For my main course, I went with the Skirt Steak. This was tender and juicy and I am getting hungry now just writing about it. The sweet plantains were also spot on. My wife had the arroz con pollo, which was huge, and the chicken was shredded into the rice. The dish was also really good with nice flavors. I was pretty disappointed they were out of Tres Leches for dessert, I love Tres Leches and its milky sponge cake sweetness. We had to order this fig, cheese and caramel dessert thing with condensed milk that was surprisingly very good. Service was excellent all night. Prices were not inexpensive but not expensive either. Mi Tierra Colombia does take credit cards. 4 Solid Yelp Stars. (4.5 if they had Tres Leches)

We arrived on Saturday night. The churrasco had a funny taste, the shrimp ceviche tasted like ketchup tomato sauce with onions and cilantro on top. Not the best food.

After seeing this restaurant on JL Jupiters review I had to give it a try and they did not disappoint! I called up ordered 4 orders of La Paisa "Number 10" and good god the portion and quality are out of this world! IF YOU HAVE NEVER HAD COLUMBIAN WHITE RICE IN YOUR LIFE YOU ARE MISSING OUT! The flavor of their white rice will literally knock your socks off! Good beans good flavor steak cooked rite good flavor, chorizo amazing! COLUMBIAN style chorizo is different than Mexican out of this world! Great chicharron they use pork belly!! Not your typical pork rind, the egg pulls everything together as goes the avacado and the sweet plantain! Limonada de coco hit the spot! Fresh made to order limeade and blended on the spot! Great decor cleanliness and atmosphere! I will be back with friends! Can not wait to eat it I had the food after a 25 min drive I can't imagine fresh off of the stove! Absolutely 100% homemade with love food!

This little gem is hidden in a tiny little shopping strip that's right next to a highway. But this restaurant packs a big punch in flavor and atmosphere, I felt as though I was back in Florida for a second! I ended up getting the fried fish with white rice, a side salad and tostones.

I got take out for dinner one night. I ordered the tierra colombia la pasia. It was delicious. I loved the rice. It was so good, I could get it by itself. The steak was pretty tough though. It was okay. The chorizo and chicharron were good. I also had fried green plantains! I enjoyed the sauce a lot! Wish I had more! It was delicious. I definitely order again.

First time I ate here, I actually ate in the restaurant. Staff were friendly. Food was amazing! Yesterday (12/4/19) I ordered to-go. For my fiancé's birthday dinner at home. I ordered the same thing I did the first time which was their juicy skirt steak. I figured I'd order 1 and we share it since it's big (when I first ordered it, It was big. Probably 4-5 oz). However, the same steak I ordered yesterday was probably 2-3 oz. That was the only disappointing thing. Other than that, food was great.

First time here and I gotta say "me gusta" also for a first timer trying Colombia food it was satisfying! I forget what I ordered but I ate all that I ordered picture will be posted. The place got me feeling like I was dining in another country. I had to try some authentic Colombian after watching Narcos ‍‍.. I got a desert also called "tres leche" it was bomb ..... there is good music if you like Latin music there's also tv playing. Only thing i feel could need a improvement is prolly more space but hey it's prolly the real experience with it being a little restaurant. I would definitely be back and I would recommend to anyone wanting to try authentic Colombian food. This is a gem tucked away in a hole. Also forgot Colombians don't have spicy food so be prepared if that's what you want! Adios todos!!!

We took a trip to philly and wanted to eat some colombian food since they have so many around the area. My wife and mother in law are colombian and they loved the food. They said the dishes were authentic and delicious. I thought the food was very tasty as well and liked their decor. This is like one of those tiny holes on the wall that hide amazing food. I will definitely come back if I'm ever close to the area. We tried bandeja paisa, arroz con pollo, pescado en salsa de champiñones and others. Everything was good and the service as well.

Me and my husband went here for the first time like 1 week ago just trying different places and food for our surprise this place was near to our home so we try and the surprise was amazing,Best food ever and the service was great the churrasco was on pint and the beans so yummy we definitely come back here

Food was delicious and so was the service. Had the rice with the chicken. My husband had the fish smothered in mushroom gravy. Would have loved to had taken pictures, but was sooo good. Didn't realize to take pictures until it was gone.

I was in the Pennsauken area this past weekend. When I passed this place I knew I had to try it. I have become a huge fan of Columbian restaurants as two of my favorites are MiPais in Frazer, and Tierra Columbiana in Philly. So with my 2 year son in tow, I decided empanadas would be for lunch. It's small and very cozy here. We got a corner table, and I ordered items I thought my son would enjoy with me. Several empanadas, one arepa, and some eggs with chorizo would work just fine. I was mildly disappointed that the only empanada choice was beef. I like variety. But I forgave them once I tasted one. Empanadas are one of my favorite things to eat in the world and these were as good as anything I've had. The arepa was huge, and fried to a golden brown like a big hush puppy. We both loved them as my son kept begging for more. The eggs and chorizo wound up being more like a finishing touch on lunch as we were both stuffed from the first two items. But they were tasty as well. They went well with the fresh pineapple juice I ordered. Bottom line... I love this style of food and this place does it as well as anyone.

It was OK I didn't really feel any effort or love into the food the Chicharron Is good the sausage is good. The salad was so so no real effort and the fish didn't really taste that fresh. Kind of disappointed. I asked for avocado on my salad, she said I can't have avocado on my salad which I thought was crazy because I didn't get rice and beans with my meal as I can't have carbs, so I just wanted avocado on my salad since I'm predominantly just eating fish and salad. So I had to pay extra for some two slices of avocado that was almost too old if I knew how to attach a picture I would because this is silly there's like lines in it it's obviously aged. I don't get it. Like I spent 50 bucks on a meal and I just feel like they just threw some shit together. I wouldn't go back the food is very mediocre smh Throw out your food don't put it on someone's plate if it's going bad especially if they're spending 50 bucks

Really good food across the board. From the Empanadas, pandeja paisa, shrimp with tostones and all the batidas were fresh a and delicious.

This place is the truth! Authentic. Rice and beans done right. Even the maduros/bananas were sweet and crispy on the ends. When a restaurant serves hard unripened plantains they always lose my respect. MTC got everything right. I got the #10 Bandeja Tierra Colombia which is a little bit of everything on one plate, and a passion fruit shake (the milk-based one). The arepa choclo/corncake appetizer was good too. I was there an hour before closing and they were out of flan, which actually is a good sign at a Spanish restaurant. That means the dessert is not laying around. They also brought four chilled sauces to my table which I believe were homemade. I think this is my new monthly spot.

Wanted to try this place for a while. The atmosphere was quaint and decorated with such a unique taste of Columbia. Service was great and food was amazing! We will defiantly go back to try other dishes!

It's the best Colombian food I've ever eaten around here. I'm Colombian and I can tell that this place is a real Colombian food.. Authentic , traditional and amazing!! If you are looking for a real Colombian delicious food you need to go there!! You won't regret and you will be more than satisfied!!

If you are looking for good quality food from Colombia this is the place to go. It's nice to finally have Colombian style Spanish food vs the traditional Mexican food in the area. Quality is delicious and perfect amount of seasoning. You will leave full and satisfied without the feeling of being overstuffed Steak was cooked perfect and the empanadas were delicious. Please try this place you won't be disappointed.

I eat here every week almost. The food is sooooooo good!! I always order extra stuff so I can have leftovers to take home. The owners and chefs are a married couple who are the most polite and considerate business owners you could ever meet. The server is attentive and although this is an authentic Colombian restaurant owned by authentic Colombians the entire staff speaks English and has no problem switching from Español to Inglés. I love it here. And so do many others. Call ahead on weekends if you want a table or to get your food quickly.

Been driving by this place for years and finally decided to stop. I'm pretty disappointed as I should have kept driving by like I've been doing for years. Way overpriced. Got the platter with rice, pork belly, steak, sausage, egg. The sausage was overcooked, as well as the pork and steak. Waste of $18.50. The only saving grace was the white buttered rice believe it or not and the empanada that I ordered.
