Tierra Mia Coffee

I love getting my morning coffee here. They always make my Cuban coffee perfect. The only downside of the place is that the drive-through is on the passenger side. And sometimes it feels like only one employee is working when the place is busy. While the rest are just standing around mingling. Also, there is rarely any place to sit at all when it’s busy. The interior feels sad and bland. I wish there were more live plants or something to make the place feel more lively. Great coffee, great price, environment okay.

This is my go to place aside from other coffee shops. The coffee here is amazing. My favorite drink is the horchata frappe paired with a strawberry cheesecake muffin. The service here is great compared to other restaurants. Friendly staff, cozy environment.

Same taste and quality the frappe (I had been trying all of them). This location in Pico Rivera is bigger than other location like Long Beach, Carson.

I love this place. I come here every week for a calm place to relax and study. The service is great everyone is so friendly and everything comes out fast. I’ve never had a mistake on my order. I usually come during the night and service never slows. It’s clean, cozy and comfortable <3 highly recommend!!!

Very good drinks yummy food. The cafe area is very nice I like to sit by the big window while doing homework to photosynthesize. The employees were quick to make my order and as friendly as anyone could be during a 9am rush, definitely friendlier than me during a rush at my job. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is theres NO OUTLETS . Not the employee's faults but zamn how am I supposed to do hw when my laptop is on its last legs. So for coffee 5/5, as a study spot maybe like a 2/5 probably wont be coming back for study sessions which sucks cuz its in such a good spot near my house/work

I've been to Tierra Mia in La Habra and Long Beach a couple times, and I loved it! Once I moved I tried this location multiple times to give it the fairest rating, but their baristas are so inconsistent when it comes to their drinks, you're better off going to Starbucks. The latte has no flavor, it's just sweet and milky, so if you're a strong coffee lover, you won't find that here. Their matcha latte is purely just milk and tastes like the trader joes's matcha latte powder mix, iykyk. It's definitely not ceremonial grade, and if it is, they're not proportioning the right amount. To each their own if they enjoy their drinks like this but in my opinion, it's not worth the price. The workers hate to remake your drinks, and I get it, I used to be a barista, but I paid for a drink not an attitude. I already feel bad enough for sending it back... this is my least favorite location.

I frequent this coffee shop but the other day I had a really bad experience with one of the employees. My drink was good, but the environment was just hostile from this really bad interaction. I was by the register waiting to order and there was a short girl with orange/brown hair standing there doing nothing, and refused to take my order. She snapped her fingers at another employee and told her to take my order. Yes, she snapped her fingers at another employee. The finger-snapping girl told the other employee to "take that female's order" - excuse me, who are you calling a female? you can say customer, girl, woman, or even just person. but female? according to the employee who helped me, this girl's name is Ashley and is actually a manager. Evidentially so, this same girl Ashley interrupted me from ordering to rush the employee taking my order for her to go on her break. Does Ashley know that she was also rushing me, the customer? I always feel great at this location and I drive a few extra miles for this location but this girl Ashley really made me want to just go to a whole different coffee shop for my daily usual. We all have bad days but kindness helps you manage your bad moments especially at work. Bad job Ashley.

Back at Tierra Mia! Got an iced pistachio latte this time- so good. Quick service, super sweet cashier. The shop is always cozy.

I usually prefer this Tierra Mia location on a hot summer day--their AC is always cold, and the drive-thru keeps seating inside open, which I love. Drink-wise, I go for the matcha horchata--sweet and bold. Their regular matcha latte doesn't quite hit like the ones from Japanese bakeries, but the horchata version makes up for it. don't drink coffee anymore, but I remember their caficito Cubano con leche being sweet and strong--just how I liked it. And it's perfectly order hot on a cold winter day. Bonus: Parking has never been an issue.so event it's a little out of the way, I still come here... The restroom smells... that's why 4 stars

The Tres Leches muffin is STILL so yummy. Get this if you haven't already. Make sure it's warmed up too. They have a lot of drink options and the cashier did a great job explaining some of her favorites and which ones are sweeter or more coffee forward. This time I went with the Coco Loco Latte (iced) and I really enjoyed it. This place can get really busy. The drive through is a great option but always packed. Faster if you go inside but still a wait.

Love the drinks here, my favorite is the horchata matcha. I wish they had one in Washington honestly. I come here every time I visit my family. Love this place. Can't recommend it enough.

So, I was visiting my daughter and my son-in-law .He recommended this place. I usually go to Starbucks but he said it was delicious so here I am. It's around 5:30 in the evening and there is a long line but it is moving quickly. I desperately needed some espresso so that I could make it home on my long commute. I ordered an iced espresso and had it customized because I like sugar-free options plus l wanted to try their cheese danish. Everything was good and my coffee I needed to add more sugar-free vanilla. Because it is so strong but it will suit its purpose. Everything was good and I want to try the Cuban style coffee next. Thank you I hope to see you all soon in the future.

Yum, yum, yum! It was my first time trying out Tierra Mia and I am obsessed! My dad suggested coming here as he really liked them. I had the Mazapan Peanut Frappe and he had the Mexican Mocha. Both drinks were exceptional! It gets pretty busy here, especially the drive thru, but they do a good overall job at taking care of everyone. The iced strawberry matcha looked so good! I can't wait to be near the area to try them out again. So happy we will be getting on in Oceanside soon!

While in the neighborhood, I ordered a Horchata latte and it was very good. This location is big inside with plenty of tables and also a drive thru. Service is great.

Parking at this Tierra Mia is limited to 3 hours - more than you'll need - but one misleading part is the "Drive-In / Drive-Thru" part in some of their signage. Thankfully, this wasn't just a drive-thru but also had ample seating on a Saturday afternoon. I ordered my usual iced latte, and I would say it's pretty standard across most Tierra Mias - tasty! This location also has Wi-Fi, which makes it a great local study / meeting spot. One area of improvement I hope that they make is the restroom system. There are two gender inclusive restrooms that have keys that are color coded, but the restrooms were not. Imagine trying to peacefully mind your own business, but then all of a sudden out of nowhere someone frantically jams a key and wobbles that doornob like a Magnitude 10.0 earthquake. By the 10th jiggle, something more than my heart had dropped, and I was mentally preparing for someone to walk in on me... *guh*

I came here today for the first time and when they called me for my drink, the guy slid it across the counter and it fell on the floor and got all over me and the floor. The guy NEVER apologized or offered napkins so I could clean myself up. I had to ask for a manager to get napkins, a new drink and a fake apology. This is unacceptable. Lack of customer service and human decency. I will not be coming back after this poor experience. Do better

This review is for the matcha latte. There was a line for drive through but it honestly wasn't bad at all. Service was great. The matcha latte mostly tasted like milk. The matcha wasn't strong enough. If you're coming to Tierra Mia I would suggest ordering their coffee since that's what they're known for and it's best to get your matcha elsewhere.

Tierra Mia Coffee has been a great place to consistently get great hot and cold Matcha drinks. They have the perfect balance of flavors with plenty of Matcha to get you going with energy. Their pastries are also great and delicious. They offer a nice seating area to relax and get together with others. They have a friendly and accomodating staff who serve great drinks.

The horchata latte (half sweet) here is really good! Despite a busy drive-thru, the service was surprisingly fast. I've also tried their americano -- a solid option.

I loved Tierra Mia it was my to go every time. Starbucks has won... Was craving a 3 Leches muffin. So I stopped by the girl cashier really needs to work on her attitude. I asked for the muffin and just hands it to me without asking if I wanted it warm etc, I was like ok. I go to my car and start eating. They have downgraded so bad, this is more of a plain dry muffin. I don't know if its old or the company is really not caring anymore.

I was done with a chiropractor session this morning and swung by for coffee. There is ample parking and a drive thru. I walked inside and the location was busy and the service was great. The cashier was professional and joyful. It's a good place to sit down with family or friends or both and enjoy a cup of coffee inside or outside.

I really enjoy all the selections that this location has my one suggestion is that please also make walk-in customers a priority. I saw so many driving orders leave before mine ever came out. The staff are amazing their servers grade. I just wish that the walk-in would also be a priority specially since there's only a couple versus the drive-in.

Placed an order through the driver - thru they missed heard my order so I was short 2 drinks which I understand, they told me to park and wait for them I said okay. I waited about 15-20mims no one ever came out inside the place was Empty and everyone was just talking and laughing. My coffees were never made and I paid about 40$ dollars for my order so wasted my morning my money and my time.

Best coffee. Ever. Had the rice in beans. Thought is was just a joke for a Mexican burrito name. Found out how delicious it was. Never gonna stop going there anytime I visit L. A. For sure will be the first stop for me.

I requested a large-sized, no-sugar, oat milk ice coffee. However, they added extra sugar, making it sweeter than a soft drink. This coffee doesn't deserve a 1 star. Service is extremely bad.

This location is very busy and loud. Atleast that seemed to be the case on the weekend morning. The service is very slow. I waited over 10+ minutes for my drink. In the time I was waiting, lots of people came to inquire about their order and accuracy of it. I did not order any food items but those seemed to be prepared well before the drinks. My drink itself was delicious. I tried the horchata latte for the first time and it was just the right amount of sweetness.

I frequent this location when in the mood for one of their drinks or bakery goods. They offer a great selection of coffees, teas, and other hot/cold beverages. My favorite is the horchata cream, very well crafted and tastes so good! Their bakery items are delicious as well, my favorite are the cheese delights and tres leche muffin. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu, I love this spot and they never disappoint!

I love Tierra Mia... and will likely wait in the long line for quite some time for good coffee. I went to the drive thru and ordered my small mocha Mexicano. However, this time, they gave me a mini size? It was about three sips. I'm not sure if it was miscommunication or what happened, but I left disappointed. I didn't have time to say anything because I had to get to work but was bummed I had no coffee.

We started coming here and really enjoyed the idea of just chilling out and talking, but the more we came it seemed like the service, coffee and pastries seemed to go downhill really quick, from the coffee being spotty and not consistent, and pastries having bugs flying around in the case, what really bothered us was when we told the employees they just shrugged it off staring that they already knew that and apparently were not going to fix the issue. Bummer. So we just had to move on and find another place to give our money to. It's been about two months from this review so hopefully things have changed

I finally got try Tierra Mia while I was on vacation in California. The drive-thru looked pretty packed so we decided to go inside. I'm glad we did because I was able to see all the pastries they had. I ordered the white chocolate pistachio latte and the chocolate tres leches muffin. Both were delicious. I'm still thinking about that muffin. I will definitely go back next time I'm in California.

Delicious Latino Coffee, you can't go wrong when you are at Tierra Mia. I am a native Texas, and I love visiting coffee shops all over the US of A, Tierra Mia is one of those places that I always find myself going back to. There is plenty of parking in the front, sufficient seating inside, and a drive-thru. The staff is usually friendly, and you'll find a bunch of young teens working the front. There is nice decor on the inside and the menu is extensive! So many options for coffee, tea, and delicious treats. This place is great for breakfast, or whenever you need a coffee run. My favorite thing is that they are open late. So usually around 10 or 11 pm, you are sure to find kiddos inside studying, or going on first dates. What a vibe! Tierra Mia has locations all over Cali, and this locale is one of my faves. My go-to is an iced Horchata Latte, but they have such good quality products, that you can't go wrong with whatever you get!

There are SEVEN people "working " . 1 taking drive through orders , 1 rinsing , not washing dishes , and 5 talking about what movies they recently watched. While 4 customers wait over 20 minutes for an iced coffee .

This spot is always thriving with customers with a helpful set of staff. They have a delicious selection of drink options and pastry items that are full of memorable flavors. The place always has customers chatting and enjoy their drinks and makes it feel very homey I would 100% recommend

This is the second time I come and they close before the hours posted in yelp it seems that they don't respect the hours I don't think the management knows they're closing before the hour posted on yelp very disappointed

My first time visiting this coffee shop and was shocked to find out that there was going to be a 20 minute wait after I had already placed the order. Although, coffee baristas were very friendly I was highly disappointed in the wait time. While I waited I witnessed 6 patrons be highly discouraged in placing their orders as the baristas before taking their order let them know that there would be a 20 minute wait for any order as they were understaffed and had 3 on staff and a 4th taking drive thru orders. Coffee shop was nice and clean very hip Latin vibe and soft music playing in the background. Not sure if I would to return if I had to wait 20 minutes for an order.

Saw this place while driving by and decided to stop by to try it for the first time. I Ordered my drink @1:37pm after me multiple people walked in AFTER me again and they ALL got their drinks before me and when I went up to the cashier with a red bandanna on to ask if it was ready she gave me attitude for asking a simple question . Second time I went up to ask if it was ready they got mad and told me " well start it right now " with an attitude. I decided to just ask for a refund because I was already waiting for 30 minutes and when I did they all looked at each other and gave me a nasty face. Now this experience is why people hate trying new places.

The cashier on 4/26 around 12:45, was so damn rude. Was always trying to finish my sentence for me, and was trying to rush me. Large dark skinned POC, with some shit in her nose. Also, TM, please consider a uniform as your employees look like customers. One even went behind the counter (not on shift) and just started mingling with the ones that were working.

Wow, $7.80 for a cold brew drink full of ice when I specifically asked for LIGHT ICE. I'm not suprised. If a business is thirsty to make more sales for the day REMEMBER... Fill all the with drinks with alot of ICE to save on more COFFEE EXPENSES!

We visit this location at least 3x a week . The consistency of the coffee is always a hit or miss. Last 2 nights our cafecito con leche, was basically hot water with a dash of sugar.

This review is mostly due to the management.Workers here are hardworking and diligent for the most part very friendly and accommodating. But the infrastructure of this place needs remolding it looks old and in desperate need of a touch up. Restrooms are filthy and need more than cleaning tbh. Also drinks are good but not great. Also please take the surcharge off the non dairy products! Thanks

I was in the area and wanted to try a new coffee spot and let me tell you, I was not disappointed! First, the appearance of the place. It was inviting, spacious and pleasing to the eye. Next service, I really appreciate getting greeting. It makes you feel acknowledged and welcomed. Most locations, I feel, don't do that anymore. The batista was knowledgeable and understanding it was my first time here. My drinks and pastries came out quickly. The food and drinks were amazing! I got the matcha horchata, mint lemonade, cheese roll and dulce de Leche muffin. All were amazing. I preferred the dulce de Leche muffin over the cheese roll. It was moist, that it I wanted to compare it to a tres leches cake. One thing I wish they did have, was maybe 1 or 2 breakfast items. I was hoping for a egg and cheese sandwich of some sort, but there was none. They have a few locations, but not in my area so I'm glad I stopped in. The closest to me would have to be in long Beach, so I will stop by when I'm in the area.

Love that this location has plenty of parking. I recommend their rice and beans frappe, house hot coffee, Horchata Latte, mocha Mexicano, cubano con leche, and their teas. You can't go wrong with any of the drinks and food! Service has always been good, decent seating inside with nice and simple decor. There is a restroom but you'll need to grab the key from the front in order to unlock the door. I also love that this location has a drive thru.
