"At this industrial, two-story restaurant splashed with neon, dim sum-style carts roll through with eclectic bites and cocktails all night long. It’s supposed to feel like perpetual happy hour, with the likes of pickled deviled eggs and ambitious cocktails luring you to hang out a little while longer." - Janelle Bitker

LOVE Tiger! Discovered Tiger five years ago when I first moved to Sac and it remains one of my favorite go to spots. The staff is friendly and welcoming, food is delicious, and music is always on point. Check it out for happy hour, dinner (such a great value for a multi course meal), drinks, and/or a night out and dancing!

Great food great service. Walked right in without a reservation on New Year’s Eve. For cocktail I highly recommend the cold fashion. Old fashion with a cold brew coffee taste. All good was delicious. Half chicken not pictured was delicious

Decided to give this place another try and I have no complaints. The food was delicious, drinks well mixed and service, special. Whoever books the entertainment does an amazing job. Can’t wait for the next dinner and show.

Went here last night with a group of four for dinner and we were immediately greeted with amazing energy and warmth from the staff upstairs. The ambiance is lovely with a cool vibe throughout. Live music was really good, we loved the band that played and the food was really nice. Our host even surprised us with a round of rosé as we were celebrating my newlywed sister and brother-in-law. The only constructive expressions I have is 1. for the lady who took our orders at the table: smile! Everyone else were very pleasant and smiling but she seemed to not want to be there. 2. When the night transitioned into DJ/ club we were told we could stay and sit anywhere we’d like but went I came back from the restroom my sister told me we got kicked out from one of the only tables they didn’t take down as it was “VIP”. Sour ending to an otherwise great experience.

An amazing experience! Loved the vibe at Tiger. An eclectic mix of people and music, a live band and a DJ! What a relaxing yet stimulating dinner atmosphere. Even better was the food, flavorful, beautiful and filling. Can’t wait to return with new friends !

Back in 2006 there was nothing like this in Sacramento neighborhood. And now I am so happy that tiger bar has come to support local artists in the hip hop genre as well as current days create a space for hip hop dance battles to happen in the public eye.

I give it a 3.5/5. I love that there's no dress code. There's a bar and lounge area on both floors. The drinks look cool and taste great. I haven't tried the food, so I can't vouch for that. On Thursday nights, there are dance battles. The entire setup is a bit weird to me— the dance floor, the lounge area on the 2nd floor, and the restrooms. The dance floor is right in front of the stairwell. A lot of people weren't dancing because some started forming a circle and dominating the middle. The music wasn't "club music" to me, as in it wasn't something that I wanted to dance to. Sitting near the rails on the 2nd floor, I really couldn't see the dance floor below even though it's designed to do so. The restroom has a large mirror, but I wish it had better lighting (for people to take selfies). What's not cool is that a friend of a friend was groped by the photographer here. Apparently, Tiger is aware, but continues to allow this photographer to work here 🥴 Also, parking isn't cheap for this area.
