Google
I’ve been meaning to try this place for a while. It was really good! I don’t really like boba a ton but I liked this place. My drink was fillled with little chocolate crunchies and little boba balls.

Google
Delicious boba tea store. I spend much effort searching for good boba in cities I travel to. The teas here have great flavors, many varieties for customization. Attractive presentation. This was the first place I’ve had malt flavor which I found yummy. If you love boba tea, I highly recommend this store.

Google
Tried the limited time brown sugar soft serve bubble ice cream and mango sago. The ice cream was delicious, and the sago was okay - a little too watery. The staff and service are great. Plenty of seating available. Very nice and intricate decor, too. Perfect for the summer!

Google
This location consistently has great customer service and very friendly staff. I had a transaction mix-up on my end, and the manager was incredibly helpful. She took the time to help identify and resolve the issue, which I really appreciated.

Google
Best of the best chain bubble tea. Same great taste, perfect Boba and quality service no matter which location. I come here every time when visiting family from NYC because it’s simply cheaper 👍🏼

Google
First time having bubble tea, but I'm here with my 19-year old who says his #2 was "exceedingly delicious" and specifically called out the bubbles for being "really fresh." He also said it's always a good sign when they hand it to you and the bottom is a little warm Me? I had a #3 (with chocolate malt!!!!) and it's absolutely delicious. The bubbles ARE good! Tasty and chewy. While the large is a little pricey, I will definitely be back for more. Call me hooked. Came back the next day with my 14-yr old. Same response - this is the shiz-nit if Boba Tea. Top shelf!! BACK AGAIN!!!! Definitely a fan of the #3 - tastes like the best Ovaltine ever on steroids!!!

Google
Best boba I’ve had in a while …. The malt chocolate gave my drink a very different taste that I absolutely loved. Gave me nostalgia, reminded me of my childhood favorite drink. And you can tell the BoBa was fresh too. Great place

Google
Good quality. Great taste. Perfect delicacies. Love the milk tea. Tea is fragrant and goes really well with boba and pudding. Highly recommend the strawberry mochi.

Yelp
So good. I got the passion fruit brown sugar boba, half sweet-- and half sweet was tremendously sweet, so I can't even imagine what full sweet would have tasted like. The boba are sweet and perfectly chewy. There was bits of real passionfruit seeds in this drink which added a fun crunch. My husband got the mocha milk tea with oat milk, and it was so creamy, full of flavor and rich in flavor.

Yelp
Aside from it being VERY HUMID inside and cooler outside, the overall shop was welcoming and cute! The people were kind but seemed tired, maybe because it was so warm inside... and less engaging. And the drinks were nice tasting with plenty of toppings, familiar and unfamiliar. I hope to go back and try more, especially since there's one close to my hometown in Rowland Heights (CA), so my mouth can compare the two. Hehe! And if you do get the oat milk option, remember to get full sugar so you don't just taste only oat milk. Lesson learned!

Yelp
Today was my fourth attempt at bubble tea and I finally found something that I liked. Peeked at the reviewd and menu beforehand and I am very well pleased. I placed an online order, which was super quick, easy and convenient. Both of my drinks were ready upon arrival and they were delicious! I am officially a Bubble Tea believer and I will be back to Tiger Sugar next time I'm in the mood for some Bubble Tea!

Yelp
It was very humid inside, despite it being cooler and breezier outside. The staff was quiet and not very helpful. I liked my drink and I liked that I could choose the sweetness level. The tiny boba was a bit inconvenient. I really should try more.

Yelp
Very well stocked, quick service, helpful and courteous employees however the parking lot is a nightmare. Food court is relatively small but they serve pretty decent Korean food. This supermarket shares the lot with various other small businesses and if you go on a weekend, well good luck to you finding a spot.

Yelp
Really good, ordered mango sago which was around 7/8 ish dollars, don't remember. It was really good since it's a yogurty drink but not too sweet. Super high quality boba if you're willing to pay a little more than the usual boba places.

Yelp
Tasty boba tea / Bubble tea / 波霸奶茶。 Our favorite have been brown sugar mochi and brown sugar Matcha. What I like about sugar tiger's drink is that their drink base is milkier and flavor is stronger. They always keep inside the shop clean . Service always very efficient. Even when there are long lies, the line was very fast. Parking is very convenient right out front of the shop. The price per cup is not the cheapest, but is comparable to other bubble tea shop price.

Yelp
OMG! This may be the best bubble tea experience I have ever had. A coworker suggested I try Tiger Sugar if I was ever in the area. Today was the day. After skimming the menu and suggestions, I ordered the Signature #1, Brown Sugar Boba Pearl with cream. My drink was ready in less than five minutes. I followed the posted suggestion to shake my drink 15 times. The drink was flavorful without being overly sweet. The bubbles were also the perfect texture. Dense without being hard. I know I will come back. A wonderful experience.
google avatar

Yelp
This is one of my top bubble tea shops. Definitely #1 for brown sugar milk teas. It opened during COVID so unfortunately the prices have gone up from the $4.66 for a large. Now it is around $6 for a medium. But the taste is still what I remembered. Many of my friends that live in Virginia are willing to drive all the way up here to get it. Their signature #1 is my go to. That or the one with coffee jelly. I like their small boba, nice and chewy. Their numbered drinks have a set sugar and ice level. It can be a little on the sweet side. But I tend to just add milk when I get home to help dilute a bit. Their drinks beginning with 'T' can be customized to the ice and sugar level of your choice. In terms of seating, it is very limited. Maybe a max of 6 seats. So not a good social spot; more for grab and go.

Yelp
Came in again recently and was about to order my usual (#2) and just as they were about to ring me up, I saw the signage for a new offering of taro pudding and I quickly switched gears. I was not disappointed. For those who, like me, love that texture in their drinks, this is the perfect drink. I loved the smooth pudding combined with the soft chewiness of the boba. I don't see it on their online website menu but it;s always a good idea to keep an idea on new offerings when you walk in their stores. Again, another winning visit.

Yelp
This boba shop has some quality drinks and with some strong toppings to boot. I came in on a Sunday night after dinner around maybe 8PM and strangely the store was empty, I was the only customer in here. That being said, the worker up front was very nice, quick with the order and gVe me my drink in about a minute to maybe 2 minutes. The restaurant itself is very clean. No noticeable dust, nothing feels sticky and everything looks polished. The drink l ordered was the #1 on their menu. On looks alone, the drink looks appealing. A nice lighter beige tone for the drink with the dark brown sugar syrup contrasting the drink itself. Although, I would like to see some more boba, because I just like the chewy texture, there was enough to hold a proper drink to boba ratio. Unfortunately, when I tried to stab the drink with my straw, the cap offered more resistance than other types of boba caps. I had to stab it 3 times and a little spilled on my hand but that's really a minor nitpick. I assume the issue was that I didn't place my drink down and then stab the top with my straw, and instead just attempted to stab the drink while I was holding it. In any case, the drink itself was great. Had a nice balance of flavors with the mousse and the milk tea. Though I do not know if there is any actual tea in the drink. If there is, I couldn't taste it. The chew and taste of the boba and smaller pearls were really good. Overall, Tiger Sugar produces a really good drink, but personally I would order less ice and slightly less sweet the next time that I go. I will certainly want to try some more of their selection on my next visit.

Yelp
A friend of mine raves about this location and she just had to stop here before heading back on the road to Virginia Beach. After visiting, I completely understand. Two of the friends I was with ended up getting drinks for spouses at home so they can taste them as well. Customer service is wonderful. Pricing is on point, and the interior is immaculate. Everyone in my party raved about their drinks. While we were there it was a revolving door. If you love Boba, this is a place to have to hit up.

Yelp
#1 Signature - Brown Sugar Boba Tea + Pearl with Cream Mousse is perfect if you don't like your tea too sweet. Items 1-4 cannot be customized for the level of sweetness and ice. Service was super fast for the three teas my party ordered. Online order is available through their website, www.tigersugarec.com. Currently there is a promotion of purchase 4 bubble teas, get 1 free (in store only) for Howard County Restaurant Week July 12-25, 2021. They also sell popcorn and milk egg rolls which would complement the bubble tea as a snack.

Yelp
Okay, idk what the hell is going on, but twice now within the past two weeks, we went here and ordered the #4 in-store, which is the brown sugar, pearls, coffee latte, AND CREAM MOUSSE, yet we keep getting no cream mousse! And both times, I asked the barista making the drinks about the lack of cream mousse, only to be brushed off, the first one trying to pass the milk she added to make it a latte off as the "mousse" part. The second time I asked about the cream mousse, which was just today, the lady just said "yes," again, as if the milk was the mousse so I thought she was going to add it, but nope. I let it go the first time, thinking maybe she's new and don't know better, but to have 2 different employees do it on two separate occasions is not okay! I've been coming here for the same exact drink regularly for the entire three years that they've been open and they think I don't know the difference?! How insulting! And to brush me off like my concerns don't matter and went ahead and sealed the drinks instead both times?? What the actual heck?! If you don't make them that way anymore, or your equipment is broken or whatever the hell, TELL ME when I'm ordering and I'll let you know if I still want it. Terrible service! I'm not happy! This exact review is also going on Google if mgmt. does not reach out to me within the next couple of days about this.

Yelp
MY FAVORITE BOBA PLACE! I've had their brown sugar boba before and it was the perfect amount of sweetness. I also got the mango drink. It was so refreshing and I loved the chunks of mango and tapioca bubbles. The cream was such a nice touch too! Id recommend getting no ice for the drinks, because it's hard to get all of the toppings when there's ice in your cup. Staff is also super friendly and hard working!!

Yelp
THE BEST MILK TEA PLACE EVER! They only have a handful of drinks which they have MASTERED~ * * * ive just forgotten to make a review!

Yelp
Fosho legit the BOMB +1! Drove an hour and a half to go to this place. Heard a lot about it, especially after I tried their boba ice cream from my local Asian grocery store. Their signature drink was some of the best iced milk teas I've ever had. Perfectly sweetened and the boba has just the right amount of chewiness to it. DEF going back fosho

Yelp
I had to jump on the band wagon and give Tiger Sugar a try. And I see what all the hype is about. With a variety of Boba drinks and teas on the menu, they have a little something for everyone. I went straight for the most popular drink, the Brown Sugar Boba with pearl milk and cream, and it was everything I wanted. That mesmerizing cup of golden brown love was creamy and not too sweet. The perfect mid-day pick me up or afternoon treat. I'm definitely looking forward to going back and checking out the choco boba!

Yelp
I tried the #2 Signature - Brown sugar boba milk pearl with tiger jelly & cream mousse. The coffee jelly actually has caffeine in it. This drink was so delicious! It wasn't overly sweet and just the right balance of boba + jelly! I finished it before I even arrived home. I wish they have one of these in the city but totally worth the 20 minutes drive! There's plenty of parking in the plaza and easy to get to! Shake well & enjoy!
google avatar

Gloria C.

Yelp
YUM! I ordered the T2 which is similar to their signature drink, T1 brown sugar boba but it has boba and a coffee jelly. If you order these drinks, you cannot change the sugar level which for me was perfect! (i usually decrease the sugar level!) I was very satisfied with this one because it had the perfect balance and it was neat that they offer small and big bobas! Be sure to shake the drink very well BEFORE poking the straw in! Gotta get all the brown sugar mixed into the drink! Inside of the store is still closed due to COVID, but the interior was adorable with their tiger theme!
google avatar

Yelp
TIP: Don't forget to shake your drink before you pop the straw in and enjoy! Enjoy a delicious drink full of flavor and fun. It'll keep you wanting more! ORDER: * T3 - Taiwan Classic Black Tea + Tiger Cheese Foam* Classic Black Tea with Boba and Tiger Cheese Foam. The boba with every sip makes the drink. The consistency is liquid not thick. It's not too sweet. It's absolutely delicious! * T5 - Black Tea Latte + Cream Mouse + Brown Sugar with Boba * Black Tea Latte blended with Cream Mouse, Brown Sugar to sweeten your palate and Boba. SERVICE: Great service and the line can get long but it moves quickly. LOCATION/FACILITY: Nestled in a shopping center in Ellicott City off Route 40/Baltimore National Pike. PARKING: Free parking lot. On occasion it can get packed however you'll always find a spot. SEATING: Indoor seating COVID-19: [January 2021] Due to the current pandemic; you are required to wear a face masks, the line starts outside and there is a systematic line, path while entering to ordering to picking up your order. SUMMARY: This is visit # - I lost count (that's how good it is). I attended the grand opening of this location and it was wild and exciting. This line was long while we waited but it was worth the wait. They provided swag for the first 100 customers which was a lanyard (not pictured). We made the 100 cut! They took temperatures and limited customers upon entry. The drinks are amazing! If you're a boba fanatic, you know Tiger Sugar is a big deal. Since the opening, we have been here nonstop back to back. It has definitely been excessive to the point I don't check in all the time which proves it will leave you coming back for more!

Yelp
I've come here multiple times for reasons you will probably read in other comments but I'll say it again for the people in the back -- BEST BOBA IN MD! Anyhow... for this review, I'll focus on a particular experience I had with their staff. I was coming from the Hub and I placed an order online. I underestimated how far apart they were and long story short, I arrived late. It was at least 5 mins past 9pm, and I am so sorry to Tiger Sugar staff again for this! By the time I arrived, they were already closed and a couple of their crew members were standing outside waiting for me. I was expecting to get yelled at or even get a frown...I deserved it but you know what I got? After apologizing to them and they said to me, "no problem, remember to shake your drink! Have a good night"... with a genuine smile. Wow. Thank you. I don't know your names but I hope you get rewarded because that was some stellar customer service right there. Above and beyond, just like your product!

Yelp
Beyond excited that there's finally a Tiger Sugar in the DMV abs the spontaneous trip to NYC is no longer needed to get in on this coveted boba treat!! This was my second visit for a preview tasting of this spectacular boba drinks that's all the rare!!! The cool kids know what I'm talking about!!! The infamous drink know for its tiger stripes, brown sugar boba cream mousse will have you breaking up with your boba bae because there's a new boba in town and they've finally arrived to mage every boba lovers dream come true!! My second and most recent visit have me a taste of what happens when the tiger collided with espresso and births a brown sugar boba milk with espresso!!! Ever sip was worth savoring as I made this disappear in no time at all!! Best part, they are practicing social distancing protocols and no mask, no boba!!! If that's not enough, they take your temp pre-order!!! I love the extra safety measures, it's a huge plus!! It's time to get into these tiger stripes!!!!
google avatar

Kate S.

Yelp
Wow, this place is awesome! I must preface this review by saying I absolutely hate boba. Hate. Tiger Sugar has changed my mind and is the only place I will visit! The #4 is soooo good and has a really good espresso flavor. Love the social distancing markers on the floor and menus posted outside to peruse before entering.
google avatar

Catherine S.

Yelp
One of the best bubble teas I've ever had. Love their classic brown sugar milk boba. Their boba drinks come with both the big and small boba which is unique. The boba is soft and chewy. The only downside is that they don't accept sugar modifications for their classic drinks so definitely expect the drink to satisfy that sweet tooth.
google avatar

Cham K.

Yelp
I'll tell you right now, I'm not a Brown Sugar type of person, but this is the best variation. I've tried many copycats and they do a horrible job. Tiger Sugar is famous for it for a reason. Why is Brown Sugar Milk not my type, well it's too sweet and milky for me, but in terms of quality and execution, Tiger Sugar does the best job in making it taste like how it should taste. Personally, I prefer their coffee flavor over the signature as it has a really nice robust flavor to it! Definitely try out different flavors to find the specific flavor combinations that may be suited to your palette. You can now cross off Tiger Sugar from your "Must Try in NYC" list!

Yelp
The Columbia/ Ellicott City area has definitely been booming with new businesses (Urban Hotpot, Vivi, Bonchon, etc) in the most recent years but I was most excited about Tiger Sugar. I first found out about Tiger Sugar when I saw the (I am not even exaggerating) around the block, in 90 degree weather, middle of the workday, on a weekday line in Flushing. Fast forward to this past Saturday, I now understand the hype. We came here on a Saturday night, around 9pm. Lots of groups social distancing outside in the parking lot. Drink was quickly made, menu was easy to understand, and so so delicious. I went in with no expectations as I'm not a huge fan of brown sugar boba drinks but man, this was perfectly sweet and good tea flavor. (Compared to kung fu where sometimes the drinks have a little powdery texture) I'm just happy this place is 1.5 hours away from my house so I have some self control from coming every week
google avatar

Camly T.

Yelp
The bubble tea here is excellent. They have a limited menu which just means they have perfected those drinks. We got the T1 and T4. The T1 was not too sweet (like I had expected). The T4 has espresso and definitely is a coffee drink, not too sweet and perfectly bitter in my opinion. I really like the mix of regular sized tapioca and mini. It's a fun mouth feel and the boba is really soft but good. The service was easy and fast when going into the shop. It was not crowded when we went, but it looks like they do have social distancing markers in place for when it does become crowded.

Yelp
I was so excited to hear Tiger Sugar had opened a location so close to home. The last time I was in New York, the line was just way too long to be worth it! About a week after opening, there was only a small line out the door and it moved quickly. I knew I wouldn't want a whole cup of just milk, so I went for the black tea latte instead (T5 on the menu) which comes with black tea, milk cap, and large brown sugar pearls. Make sure to mix your drink well before stabbing it with your straw! Even with just half milk, my drink was creamy and I couldn't even taste the tea behind the brown sugar flavor (which I didn't mind at all, having the brown sugar take center stage). Tapioca pearls were perfectly cooked, soft, chewy, and sweet. The drink as a whole was delicious albeit *just* on the verge of being unbearably sweet which brings me to the one downside of Tiger Sugar: The menu is complete un-customizable so you cannot adjust the sugar levels or make any other changes. Which is fine, I understand their business model is different than other boba chains, but be forewarned that the drinks are extremely sweet so if you don't have a strong sweet tooth you might not like it so much! Also, one of my friends wanted to order one of the other tea drinks and they would not let her add pearls to the drink, so all toppings must come as is. I know the original drink has two sizes of bubbles mixed in so don't be surprised if you get more in your mouthful than you thought. I personally couldn't drink something so rich and sugary that often, especially for $6. So while I did enjoy my boba and I'm glad I tried it, I will probably not come back any time soon. I'd say still worth a visit if it's your first time!
google avatar

Jody M.

Yelp
First Yelp event of the year and it was delicious. I took my daughter and we tried two of the most popular flavors. The signature (#1) and the #3. Both were good but #3 was my fav. The chocolatey malt flavor was amazing. I don't usually like the pearls in bubble tea, but these were actually good! They came in different sizes for variety and tasted very mild. The shop was fairly crowded in the afternoon which shows just how popular they are. I want to come again and try the coffee and tea flavors.
google avatar

Janine T.

Yelp
Thoughts on the Tiger Sugar #4 with espresso: WOW this is totally just coffee with boba. The espresso is HEAVY with this one, in the best way possible. You get the strong coffee flavor without a bitter aftertaste. This drink isn't nearly as sweet as the others bc of the coffee. I like it. 10/10 can substitute for my daily coffee. More thoughts on the boba: it's different from so many others because the pearls are bouncy without being sticky!

Yelp
Probably the best boba shop in the greater Baltimore area that I have had the joy of visiting. The service is fast, the beverages delicious, and the shop is appealing. The main appeal of Tiger Sugar is their use of "brown sugar boba" which has a lovely caramel flavor, setting itself apart from other boba shops. Additionally, the boba pearls are perfectly cooked to chewy consistency, never too hard or too soft. Overall the flavors of their drinks are great and they layer it in a very photogenic way, but don't forget to shake it thoroughly to get it all blended. Also a tip - I am in the habit of lowering the sugar and ice level of the drink (more tea, better flavor!) and while they do allow this, you can't change the sugar level of the "signature" beverages. While it's a bit of a drive from Baltimore, I always make a point of stopping when I'm nearby!

June K.

Yelp
Grabbed two of the same drinks. The ratio obviously doesn't have to be perfect but this was a pretty noticeable difference. It still tasted very good, but the one with more syrup? was much better. In addition, I happened to witness some unsanitary practices. A customer that got their drinks before us came back in the store claiming their drinks weren't sweet at all. I'm guessing they forgot to add the sugar syrup. What happened next was quite disturbing . The workers took their drinks BACK INTO THE KITCHEN and started pouring the syrup into the old drinks through their straws!! I'm guessing (and hoping) that they washed their equipments after that, but especially during COVID season, this was pretty disturbing. I thought opened drinks weren't allowed back into the the kitchen, regardless of a pandemic going on. Bubbles always on point though!
google avatar

Marina N.

Yelp
Finally came by and checked this place out!!! So glad the DMV area has one now! We ordered the #3, which was the chocolate-y one. It comes with pearls. I typically have to adjust the sugar and sweetness levels at most tea places, but with this one, it came out perfect! I don't think I could've altered the sweetness or ice levels if I tried (from what I read from previous reviews) but the standard levels worked! Their boba is the right consistency, soft, but chewy, and not overpoweringly sweet. For the price of ~$6, for a standard size milk tea cup, I don't think it's worth it, but if it's once in a while, then I guess it's okay?

Yelp
Wow! How have I gone my whole life without trying the infamous Tiger Sugar until now? I've been back about 5 times in the past month since I first tried it. The menu is very limited, but they're good at what they do. The first time we went there, we made the mistake of trying to ask for customizations (e.g. less sugar) and were met with cold "we don't do that here". There's only one size and you get what you get. However, that being said, the drinks are amazing. I have tried both the number 1 and number 2. The number 1 classic is delicious. Creamy and sweet with the taste of burnt sugar, I constantly crave it. I also really enjoy the different sized pearls too, which makes it a fun drink. The number 2 was also very tasty, with the richness of coffee and coffee jelly, but I still prefer the classic. Will have to be back again and again. Really glad we have one here.

Yelp
Tiger Sugar is a bubble tea franchise that is known for its brown sugar boba. They also have teas and lattes available for those who are not wanting the milk beverages. I have been here several times, and I think if they were consistent in terms of making the drinks correctly each and every time, it would be fine; however, note that you cannot substitute or customize in any way (sweetness, amount of ice, etc.). The Brown Sugar Boba Milk + Pearl with Cream Mousse is their signature, and sometimes they don't put enough of their 'tiger stripes' syrup so you're only drinking milk and the tapioca; the amount of the tapioca pearls fluctuate so much that there are times where you don't even seem to get much of them to begin with. The lack of quality control and the attention to detail is not worth the out-of-the-way trip here. I'm glad I was able to check them out a few times, but I won't return. +lack of consistency in quality of drinks +prohibits any type of customizations to beverages +plenty of parking in the shared plaza lot

Yelp
I've heard about the amazing Tiger Sugar bubble tea for a long time and was excited to try it! I've had it twice now but disclaimer, I've only tried their signature #1 drink - the brown sugar milk tea with pearls and cream mousse. After taking your pictures of the beautiful drinks, make sure you shake the drink to mix BEFORE you pop the straw in -- staff recommended 13 times! My friend like the black tea with brown sugar and pearls. You cannot modify the sugar, size, or ice level in these drinks, so I was worried that the drink would be sickly sweet (I do 0% sugar at Kung Fu Tea). I was pleasantly surprised though -- the drink was sweet but not sickly sweet like I thought it would be. I'd say the taste is predominantly sweetened milk (reminds me of cereal milk), not very strong tea flavor. The pearls are a combo of big and small which I enjoyed, chewy and just sweet enough. The drink itself is smaller than a large bubble tea at other places but perhaps slightly bigger than a small. It's pricey and I don't think the drink I got wowed me so much that it was worth the $6, but it was definitely enjoyable. With more affordable bubble tea places around, I think I will make those places my regulars and Tiger Sugar a special occasion. The staff is nice and the interior is new, clean, and filled with cute decor. All in all, I definitely want to come back and try some other flavors, especially curious to try their black tea with cream mousse and pearls to see if it's more well-balanced. Nothing wrong with the location, but just a bit pricy, small, and un-customizable.

Yelp
We ordered two #1 with no toppings and got our drinks within a few minutes. There weren't many people in line though The temperature check was cool lol The drinks are a bit pricey - $11.. something for two but tasted good. Picture to compare regular size drink with a regular mug

Yelp
I saw a video about Tiger Sugar on Facebook and knew I had to try it the moment I saw the words, "cream mousse"! I know ads are meant to hype business, but I am happy to say Tiger Sugar lived up to that hype :) We've come back a few times now and it's not a short drive from Derwood to Ellicott City for bubble tea alone, but you can't imitate these drinks elsewhere. The classic (#1): brown sugar boba milk with pearl and cream mousse is definitely what you should start with for the experience. I enjoyed the #2 as well: brown sugar boba milk with pearl, cream mousse, and tiger jelly, which is coffee jelly. #2 is good for a little extra kick, but having tried both I like the classic just a touch more :) Price wise each drink is about $5 and change- so the average cost of a grande at Starbucks? My boyfriend was looking for something that felt a touch less sweet, so he got the T4: the Taiwan Classic Black Tea with brown sugar and boba. It is a bright and refreshing drink that still has some sweetness to it. Tiger Sugar is located in a shopping center off route 40 with free surface parking. It can get busy, but there are lots of spaces. There is enough space inside to stand distanced from others (under average circumstances) while you wait for your drink. Halloween was very busy, so it may be less spacious at popular times. There is plexiglass at the counter and a thermometer mounted at the door to check your temperature when you come in. Sure we will be back again soon :)

Yelp
Super fast, friendly staff, super yummy boba! I had to go the with classic #1 signature boba! They're known for their brown sugar with boba milk and cream mousse. It's super creamy and satisfying. Since you can't really adjust the sugar level for the signature drink, the staff did say they'll give me the minimum sugar allotted--and it was perfect! The signature came with both regular and mini boba. 10/10 would def come again :)

Yelp
I never really saw myself dining in because it's not that cozy, but I guess that doesn't really matter since I personally only stop by here on my way to do other errands. I love the milk tea they serve here and only here, I could never bring myself to like other places' milk tea. The drink's also really pretty. Also I get the small pearls because they're easier to chew. Service was also quick.

Yelp
I looooove boba tea! I think this product is actually better than most of the boba tea places I've been to. Since I am so picky, I am a texture person! This was my happy place when I got to have the perfect texture of chewy boba in two sizes in the same drink! I like the fact that I can also choose expresso soaked boba !!!! Yum! The kids like the drinks with flan custard pieces. My hubby doesn't like sweet drinks, so I was happy to get a black tea and cream (no boba for him). So indeed, a perfect trip to the boba store for the fam!! Brown sugar milk tea is a favorite of all of ours, but my go to is the one with espresso boba is crave worthy!!! I wish I lived closer :)

Yelp
Located on route 40 this place is the only bubble tea like place I will buy from. I like my large number 1 and I ask for less bubbles. The reason why this is getting a 2/5 is because there has been two separate occasions where drink was not properly sealed. Staff is nice they are just students working . Pretty quick with orders. I wish they did better marketing or seating arrangements for people to sit but it's very cold and not so welcoming. I always feel rushed out to leave- perhaps put 1-2 outdoor seats for customers to sit and enjoy.

Yelp
I retired from Yelp for a few years now and it speaks volumes when you start a brand new account because an establishment was good enough to get you yelping again. I went with a friend with regular optimism because hey, it's boba. My friend also mentioned there was a line when this placed opened up that went far into the distance. I kind of laughed under my breath because boba is good, but unless it's being sprinkled with 24kt gold dust in an Instagram-worthy cup touting some non-boba characteristic weirdness like "activated charcoal" ... they would just be another boba place being judged on chewiness, drink flavor options, backstage hype, and customer service. I hardly find reason to wait in a long line for anything nowadays. Being health conscious, the plan was to do the usual and request for 75% sugar or some "healthy" alteration. Nope, not here. We were told no modifications to the signature drink. No ice level adjustment, one size only. Starts the 4 second semi-awkward silent stare. Now I'm paying full attention at the smiling cashier who was polite the whole time. Their hospitable nature encourages my brain to finally register the facts and turns weirdness into this rationale: Okay, it's the signature drink. It's understandable... signatures are the finalizing seals on all masterpieces, so with that in mind I considered it a cheat day on diet and said in my head, "Oh we gonna play like that? Okay... it better be a masterpiece, cause now I'm thinking of resurrecting my Yelp spirit." All that to say, I poked the straw in, took a sip with a smirk. I was completely ready to roast this place with my amateur angst-filled, poorly punctuated blog-style writing all for the fact that I was told "No modifications." Friends... let me tell your how agonizing it is to my pride when the only thing getting modified was my plan to spend minimally in this place. The drink was perfect. The sweetness was magically balanced to fit everyone's tastes! It was potent and rich on a visual level, but shockingly, the flavor, freshness, craft and quality was immaculately perfect- something a Vegas buffet cannot do! The entire experience justified the long line at grand opening. The Tiger hunted me down. I'm pretty sure this boba is served in heaven. God bless this business.

Yelp
I tried out Tiger Sugar for the first time the other day in Ellicott City. Definitely lived up to the hype! I'm not a huge boba tea person, but I wanted to check things out just to experience it. Ordering was very simple; you walk up to the window and talk into the microphone. You get handed a receipt with an order number and wait for your number to be called. I got the Signature drink which I believe is their most popular option. With certain beverages (mine included), you can NOT adjust the amount of ice or sweetness level. I was a bit happy about that because I'm not a veteran of knowing what amount works so at least the decision was made for me. Overall, I found that I drank it down fairly quickly. I enjoyed the flavor especially with the pearls that come in the bottom. While I will say that it was very tasty, I can't see myself getting it very often. Due to it not being nearby to where I live and the price point, it will definitely be a once in a while treat. I LOVED the visual of the drink once made. I did shake it which made the pattern disappear but still cool. Service was quick and easy, I got in and on fast. I recommend trying this place out! Whenever I do return, I want to try some more of the menu.

Yelp
Love this place for the classic brown sugar boba! This chain was one of the original trendsetters for the signature brown sugar milk tea bubble teas and is a sweet dessert! I recommend the Signature #1 which is the simplest boba option on the menu in my opinion, which is just a brown sugar milk tea with a cream mousse cap. The pearls in here are sweet and yummy, adding to the sweetness and flavor of the drink! If you prefer drinks on the less sweeter end, would recommend significantly lowering the sweetness. But this is a refreshing dessert for boba lovers with a sweet tooth!

Yelp
Tiger Sugar is more than pretty IG photos, they are the real deal. Hands down the best boba pearls I have ever had! Ask anybody and I think they will agree with me: when in Ellicott City, it's hard to not take a world food tour with so many great Asian eats nearby. Tiger Sugar was the perfect way to cap off our evening of eating way too much good food (and probably too fast). For my inaugural drink, I went with their number 1 signature drink, the brown sugar boba milk with cream mousse. I love the brown sugar boba pops, so I figured it would taste the same. I did note that you can choose either a cold or hot option for the drink, but could not change the size or level of sweetness. Tiger Sugar, I don't know who came up with the little pearls mixed with big pearls idea, but give them their royalties! It is genius - so tasty and so unique. No other boba places does this and I am seriously hooked. My only gripe is that I want a larger size (yes, I finished my drink in the parking lot lol)
