Yelp
Hands-down one of my favorite boutiques ever. Whenever I'm in town (I get haircuts across the street from here) I always come in here casually, with no intentions of buying anything, then walk out with a giant bag. But I never regret it. Shopping here feels good because you're supporting local businesses and you always find something unique and whimsical, either it's for yourself or a loved one.
This boutique is Urban Outfitters meets Anthropologie meets Kitson in LA meets world-bazaar-street market in its uniqueness and authenticity.
The owner has incredible taste and a fantastic sense of humor. I'm in my early-twenties and I'm in love with about 80% of the items sold here. I've been shopping here since I was a teenager attending UCR, and new items come in regularly and evolve with current fashion and culture trends. I once bought a pair of socks for my boyfriend here that had sloths hanging on trees with gangsta $ gold chain necklaces around their necks. That's why this shop isn't just for the ladies; you can find gifts for brothers, fathers, in-laws, etc.
It's easy to get lost in this 2-room paradise of different-themed sections full of the ordinary and extraordinary. It's organized chaos, so hold your bag closely and make sure you don't knock over any delicate items. Obviously, you have your typical magnets, candles, lotions, socks, journals, calendars, ornaments, and cute stationary. But then you have delicate handmade earrings by local artists, unique and hilarious greeting cards for all occasions, and a bunch of other crap that makes you immediately think, "OMG ______ is gonna love this, I have to get it for him/her."
By the way, the pictures here on Yelp don't do this boutique any justice. Come in and see for yourself.
