Tiki di Amore Launches an Outdoor Tiki Bar on the Eastside | Eater Vegas

"An outdoor Polynesian‑themed tiki bar that bills itself as the only outdoor tiki bar in Las Vegas, recently opened and now operating six days a week (Wednesday–Monday) from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Located behind a vintage Vegas–inspired Italian restaurant next to Dutch Bros, the space is festooned with Moai statues, totems, a life‑size deep‑sea diver, a private hut, fire‑pit seating and a custom‑built “Tikipus” throne embraced by a giant octopus created by local 3 Specialty Design Services. The drink roster focuses on classic tiki cocktails priced at $11 each — including a scorpion bowl, Mai Tais, Blue Hawaiian, homemade sangria, Rum Runner and piña coladas — and guests can also order food from the adjacent Italian restaurant’s indoor menu, such as sliders, stromboli, pizza, mini osso bucco and small bites like stuffed peppers, fried calamari and bruschetta." - Bradley Martin

It's so beautiful in there. The vibe is so soothing and jazzy. The live jazz music itself is so wonderful. The food tastes delicious and the service is spectacular. I love it here!

Google
Love everything about the Tiki Bar & always have a good time. The bands aren’t always the greatest, but the more of their great cocktails you have, the better they sound. ;)

Google
I love tiki bars, and always try to find new ones that I haven’t been to. My friends that live in Vegas suggested this one, and it is not to be missed (apparently it’s only seasonal). Good drinks, great food, and awesome service. We were there on a weekend and got to watch a sweet band- the vibe of this place is super fun! Von (spelled right?) was awesome and entertained us the whole time. Don’t miss this place- it’s out of the way and clearly a local hangout. Which is exactly what you want in Vegas!

Sybil R.

Google
Great food, prices, and atmosphere! Local bands on the weekend Live music and dancing

Jona J.

Google
Fun atmosphere. Be aware of the Tiki hours, which are different from the restaurant. They have a great Seafood Happy Hour with live music. It gets slammed, so arrive early for a good table.

Google
What an awesome place that even has the luxury of providing us with an outdoor dining experience that all ages can be, so it’s great for families! Then you have inside which is super cozy and beautiful and the ambience is completely amazing. All the bartenders were super nice and I appreciate the kind servers ❤️❤️ we will def be coming back!

Google
I only gave 3 stars because the drinks were pretty bad. We were at the tiki patio. The pizza was great. Service was great. Water guy worked his butt off to ensure everyone's water glass was topped off. The band, Ninth Island, was good, although that may be the alcohol talking.. Anyway, as tiki drinks go, they butchered them. Have to say the Mai Tai was the absolute worst. Love the atmosphere. I am challenging the bar tenders to up their game on tiki drinks. Take a class, watch Utube...something...damn you need it.

Lori O.

Google
Fun night out! The Tiki area has Great live music, full menu to choose from or special seafood platter trio on the tiki deck. Bartenders Marcos, Ernie and Thomas where extremely friendly. Excellent customer service!! Sat outside for 3 hours and enjoyed every bit of it . They have fans and misters to keep it cool. Also kids are welcome too.

Yelp
Same great service and kind staff as Casa Di Amore - with an island twist. Plenty of umbrellas - shade under bar & fans with water spray. Actually dug the surfer & island tunes on system more than basic live musicians - it was OK but not much excitement with older dudes on base & drums singing music from 1950's-1980s. Only open Fri-Sat-Sun 5-11pm - May- October. 5-7 happy hour is 1/2 off well, beer, wine, pizza & something else. Had to share Wedge salad with wife -BEST EVER MIC DROP - we get this everything- it is great. Tried Pizza & Dessert -- pizza was solid - good crust, sauce & cheese. Should of jot done veggies for wifey but must keep her happy!! Crust got soggy :( pizza was good though - stick with meat lover & it will be great pizza. Vegas is a huge food town-this place will be a monthly visit

Yelp
We had such a good time on our last visit, we decided to have dinner here again and try the seafood trio along with a salad. The food we ordered was all delicicous. The staff is very friendly and overall atmostphere is really cool. It is amazing how comfortable the temperature is kept in this outside area with waster misters and fans. The live entertainment that started at 7pm was great (songs by the Matchbox Twenty, Bob Dylan, Glenn Campbell, and more). He even played my wife's song "The Way You Look Tonight" by coincidence! We are planning on coming again to try the pizza next.

Yelp
Okay so everyone knows that the Tiki Di Amore is on the patio at Casa Di Amore, a spectacular Italian Restaurant. And everyone knows the food comes out of this restaurant. But let's focus on the service today! We invaded on the place as soon as it opened with 14 ppl. Ernie was our Server. We started with letting him know who was on what checks to avoid trouble later! We ordered up a round of drinks! I explained that it was a birthday and I wanted to get some food in front of the girls right away. We ordered apps, pizzas, more drinks. Man Ernie was like Rocky Balboa , we couldn't take him down, even as the place filled up he kept our drinks topped off and our food on time. Bringing napkins, utensils and extra sauces to us as well! Then the onslaught of desserts came out, he never dropped the ball. The evening was a huge success! Everyone had a great time. I believe we closed the place! This Terrific Bar is only open during the pleasant months so if you have not been, plan to get in here!

Yelp
Flew into town on a Friday night with friends. We didn't want to go to The Strip but wanted good food and good vibes, no hassle. Tiki Di Amore was an obvious choice and we were willing to wait...just not for two hours that actualized. Luckily, we were so busy catching up that time seemed to pass quickly. The bar hadn't moved outside for the season so bartenders were busy running back and forth between the restaurant and the patio. That was somewhat annoying BUT, you can't get mad when you see people working that hard and doing it with a smile. How is the food? Amazing. We have been here many times and have yet to find a dish that we do not like. Our out of town guests were WOWed by the seafood feast: 1lb shrimp + 1lb snow crab + 1lb Lobster tails. It was A LOT of food and should def be shared between 2-3 people. I could write a review about every dish I've tried BUT you will just have to visit and find out for yourself.

Yelp
Hubby & I came to Tiki Di Amore after trying to eat at Casa Di Amore, but it was a Friday night and reservations were all booked for the evening. The hostess at Casa told us we could dine out back at the tiki bar, which has the same menu (plus more happy hour deals!). The set-up outside is very fun, tiki meets some fun figurines & a live band (at least on Friday nights). Every table has its own little misting fans which was nice for the heat when we were there. -Steamed Clams (also have choice for Mussels) in a white wine sauce. This was delicious, so so good. Hubby and I loved this dish. -Penne Alla Vodka (added Sausage), this pasta was flavored really well. I'd probably choose another protein next time, the sausage wasn't the Italian Sausage found on pizzas, but actual sausage (think hot dog), and so I didn't think the flavor paired as good with the sauce. -Chicken Parmigiana, the breading was good and portion was also good. Hubby liked this dish! -I ordered a Banana-something cocktail (not on happy hour menu), but it was very good. -The only okay thing we ordered was the Cannoli. Next time I'll want to try the Tiramisu! Restrooms were clean, service was fairly quick. Their parking lot does go around the back and did fill up at peak dinner time.

Yelp
The overall atmosphere was super fun and friendly, the service was spectacular. Our server knew everything there was to know about the menu and drink options. I have never tried the food from inside the house, but the pizza and seafood plater we ordered was OK... nothing to write home about. Boiled shrimp, boiled lobster, boiled crab legs. It seemed like everything was thrown into a pot of boiling water and immediately plated, considering the price I expected a little bit more. But maybe in the future I'll try the classic entrees from the Casa di amore menu. Other than that, the outdoor vibe was really cool.

Casey E.

Yelp
We had such a great time at Happy Hour! Very friendly and attentive staff, delicious Italian food, tiki drinks and atmosphere, misters going outside. We left before 7pm so we missed the live band. Next visit!

Yelp
This is a smallish outdoor patio/bar connected to the Casa di Amore Italian restaurant. It's a great spot for a pre-dinner drink. In fact, they serve food out here so you don't necessarily need to eat at the restaurant. It's kid-friendly so no worries if you've got kids with you. The decor is super cute with all types of tiki trinkets, tiki torches, etc. all around. Keep in mind it's completely outside so it can get chilly. You can order food here, too, but I'm guessing you're here for the tiki drinks. They've got all the usual suspects and some other interesting ones, too. I stepped out of my box and tried the gin-based Saturn and was very pleased. Service was great. Well worth a visit, if you're a tiki fan.

Yelp
Horrible rude waiter..thought he owned the place, took card didnt bring receipt until asked. They did not provide what was ordered ..substituded w something else..i sent it back..waiter was a TOTAL ass. Food not good. To be fair..two other guys helped..they were both total sweethearts.

Yelp
Great ambiance. Fun. Inviting..Different. Local. The live entertainment was a great plus. The food was delicious. But the servers took this down from a 5 star to a 3 star. Bombarding my face with his hands while I was eating and not excusing himself made the whole birthday dinner sour. The waiter was dropping stuff in a rush over my face and on my plate! That was uncalled for. There was a balloon, cake, and presents for my birthday. They even sang it. And this guy ruined the whole experience for us all. There is a such thing as jealousy, but his extremely arrogant behavior was truly disgusting. Management needs to evaluate this problem with this older gentlemen and their biases, and etiquette towards parties. We paid over $200, and the last thing we needed for a celebration was his biased behavior. Reservations. Groups. And embarrassment. Great establishment. But if I ever eat there again. I will specifically state that this gentleman avoid this table, and not service us. That's IF we come back, and he's there waiting in the dark corners for his chance or an opening to act a fool as it looked like he was.

Yelp
Went to this place on a Saturday night and loved how causal its vibe was. The place was clean and bartenders were attentive when to check on us a few times for new drinks and made good recommendations. The rating here is solely based on the strength of the drinks, which didn't feel strong enough for an $11 price tag despite their beautiful presentation. I look forward to returning for another try though and get food as well.

Yelp
This was our second time here at Tiki di Amore. We absolutely love this place. The ambiance on the patio is amazing, the vibe this place has is unlike any other. Our server Vaughn was on point and really took care of us with his great personality and prompt service. The food is always amazing. We had chicken Parm, a large pizza, calamari, shrimp scampi and crab legs. The specials they run for happy hour on the weekend for drinks and seafood is awesome. We have definitely found our special spot.. we wouldn't make the 30 min drive if it wasn't good. A+++

Yelp
Honestly food 10/10. Drinks 10/10 HOWEVER, we were sitting outside and 10pm came, and they turned off the misters and fans "due to it being a hour from closing" let me tell you, it's hard to enjoy your pasta when it's above 100 degrees outside and they turned off the means for coolant. It was as if they were making the environment uncomfortable so you would leave.

Astara L.

Yelp
Fun is what it's all about. Happy Happy place. Nice folks. Uplifting music and silly colorful environment. It's not for the most sophisticated high minded opera set, but you can bring family here and everyone gets a smile.
google avatar

Yelp
This was a nice find. The outside tiki bar makes you feel like you are in Polynesia. Drinks and pizza were perfect. The service was quick and he was courteous. Atmosphere is perfect with misters on , so there's no reason to get hot out there !! Have fun! The live band was perfect to top it all off !!

Yelp
Great food, Great drinks... fun atmosphere and Vaughn our water was the best! Get there early place packs quick!

Yelp
What an amazing find!! So directly attached, and behind the long standing Italian staple Casa De Amore, is a speakeasy of sorts. A hidden tiki bar behind the bar called Tiki De Amore. The instagramable shots here are Vegas Gold people. Gold. It's a fun chill bar some nights, other nights there's a live band and a birthday party. The tiki inspired drinks are on point, and best of all, you can order "bar" food from Casa De Amore. Yummm! My server Kylie was the coolest and best part of my night. She really made it fun and me feel comfortable and like I could make this my go to neighborhood hang out. If you're looking for a fun stop, and a great local night, come here. Open air for the the great Las Vegas weather we have most of the year.

Pamela G.

Yelp
Update: so now on top of everything, the owner is calling me a liar. Neither my friend nor I knocked remember knocking the pizza over nor did the manager show us the video so I could just as easily call him a liar. In any case, he did nothing to rectify the situation, my friend had to pay full price for a happy hour pizza when she initially ordered it. It wasn't our fault that It took one full hour to bring her another pizza. None of that mattered to him when I spoke to him. I spoke to the waitress first, and when that didn't work, I asked to speak to the manager. what else should I have done as a customer? That was the real issue, not who knocked the pizza over. I was not rude to the waitress at all and I don't want to be made out to be a bully, causing her to lose a job, I wanted nothing of the sort.. This owner/manager had an attitude in that he refused to rectify the situation in any manner. He clearly did not and does not appreciate all the business I brought to his bar. That's fine, but don't call me a liar. Because I did not tell you they knocked it over. I said we did not remember doing it so it must've been the waiter. That's different than lying, I did not swear that's what happened and that issue was secondary to the inflated price of the pizza. You remember it your way I'll remember it mine. Bottom line is you lost a lot of business when you did nothing to budge on the price of that happy hour pizza. Let alone replace it for free like you claim you could have. You never offered that. And we didn't expect it. I am no longer a customer of the tiki de Amore. I took a group of at least a dozen Meetup people there one night last year. Unfortunately, as a waiter walked by our table. he knocked my friend's pizza on the floor. It took almost an hour for the waitress to replace the pizza and then at the end of the evening, she presented her a bill for the regular price of the pizza instead of the happy hour price when she actually ordered the first one. I asked to talk to a manager. He came over to the table and was definitely not customer friendly. He explained she ordered the second pizza after happy hour, and she would pay full price. I said she should not be paying anything as it was his employee who knocked it on the floor. he became somewhat angry with me for accusing his employee and said he had no way of knowing how it got knocked off the table, but she was going to pay full price for the pizza. In my experience, restaurants bend over backwards to show that the customer is always right and would have replaced it for free for good business. As a result, I have never gone back to the Tiki d Amore nor will I. And here's the kicker: I was later told that he was not the manager, he was the owner of both the restaurant and the bar. How can an owner be so ungracious to a loyal customer? Over the years I have taken dozens of people there and now I won't recommend it to anyone.

Yelp
Don't trust these Yelp hours. They are not open 6 months out of the year due to "weather". Paid $30 for Uber just to find out they are closed, but Yelp says they are open.

Yelp
I've been going to Casa di Amore for a long time and when I noticed they were putting in a tiki bar I was super excited! I have to say the decor far surpassed my expectations!! They really went all out. We went pretty late on a Wednesday night, so it was pretty quiet. We were a little worried it would be too hot outside but the fans and misters helped a ton, it wasn't bad at all. Our bartender Kayla was very friendly and helpful. I was kinda surprised to see that they don't actually behave an outside bar, all of the cocktails are made inside. I'm not sure if it will always be that way but it did take a while for our drinks too come out, since the one small bar has to prepare drinks for the entire place. We both ordered drinks off the tiki menu and they were delicious! Strong too, the way I like it ;). We ordered some food to share, wings, stromboli, garlic bread. Everything was good, I'd say right on par with the restaurants quality. I definitely want to come back on the weekend when they have some live music and maybe when the weather is a little cooler. But overall I'd say this spot is a really awesome addition!
google avatar

Jacqueline M.

Yelp
We have been to casa di amore many times over the years so I was pleasantly surprised to hear they had expanded and put a tiki bar out on their back patio. We went for happy hour and was able to grab a booth adjacent to the live band. They had misters going to keep everyone comfortable and the lively crowd around the patio with a diverse and festive. we ordered a pizza and a pitcher of margaritas which arrived in record time and was satisfying. I am looking forward to going back when it is a little cooler outside.

Yelp

Yelp
I think it's a great little gem. I agree that some PR would be great to attract more people! You know the foods always going to be good. Have had their sliders and pasta, both reasonably priced. Check it out!!
google avatar

Yelp
Went here with my family. Great hidden gem. It is a cool tiki bar attached to a 70 year old Italian restaurant. We were there for happy hour on a Saturday. Great specials. Most drinks under 10$. They do not skimp on the alcohol. Very strong. Multiple half price items on the happy hour menu. Xl pizza fed 4 for 14$, a pound of shrimp same price. Other appetizers for the same. You can order from the restaurant menu. Their food is very good but pricy. Most entrees in the 30$ range but very good. Cool atmosphere even live music. Ate for 4 with drinks for under 130$ pre tip. Live music as well with great service. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Tonight was our first time there. Food and drinks were great. My husband had a supreme pizza, I had the peel and eat shrimp special (not really peel and eat, just had the rails on it) we shared a Caesar salad. I had a Mai Tai that was delicious. The entertainment was great, we had Vaughn as our waiter and he was great!

Yelp
It a great place to start the night, with live music and a chill atmosphere. The food and service is great.

Yelp
I love old Vegas spots, so I was very curious to see what this tiki joint would look like outside a classic Vegas Italian spot. The weather was great, so being outdoors was pretty nice, and their pretty decent happy hour was not bad as well. Half off pizzas and half off some drinks is always welcome. We ordered a small pepperoni pizza which was pretty big. Thin crust and extra grease- not the best for an everyday meal, but good for happy hour. I ordered the Blue Hawaiian. Not on the happy hour menu, but I couldn't resist. Not too sweet and all sorts of rum made this drink perfect for the afternoon. The decor was a tad bit cheesy for my taste. Not your typical tiki-bar cheesy... but I certainly appreciate the outdoor space and fun drinks.
google avatar

Erica L.

Yelp
This is our favorite place but it is made the bomb dittigity because of Vaughan. He is the absolute best!! So helpful and patient. Cute as hell and his cartoon voice are awesome sauce.

Yelp
Great Friday night at Tike Di Amore Vaughn and Marcos rocked at the bar Music was awesome and great food and drink Put this on your place to come and hang out list

Yelp
So I'm glad I finally got to stop here. An important thing to know... They are only open in the spring/summer. Winter they are closed. (For obvious reasons). Pros - Great food. - Live music. - Beautiful decor. - Kid friendly. (As long as they are behaved, lol) - Great for groups! I recommend splitting a large pizza if you plan to drink and eat. - So much seating to choose from! - Tiki drinks are strong. (Get the Uber ready!) - Awesome fire pits at two of the tables for big groups. Cons - Drinks are pricy. All tiki drinks are $11 and up. - Compared to Golden Tiki or Frankie's, they are not the most flavorful of drinks. Despite the cons on the drinks I will still be coming back because the atmosphere was amazing and the service was excellent. My favorite drink that seemed to have the most flavor was the Painkiller.

Angela ..

Yelp
Love this place! Service, Staff and Food is great! Marcos always takes such good care of us. Best Mai Tai's and Pizzas. Happy Hour and Food are the best. Outdoor Live Music and Island Vibes!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Seriously a hole in the wall place!!! Love this tiki bar so much I wished we would've had dinner here and more drinks! I would 100% be going back and with my family!!! Definitely love the vibe!!!
google avatar

Jay A.

Yelp
Big changes at the Tiki Bar! The drink menu has been updated with traditional recipes and good descriptions of the cocktails. The SATURN is a new favorite! The food is good as always - with the excellent pizza always 1/2 off for the perpetual Happy Hour. This is becoming a regular hang for me and my guy. A great outside hang while the weather holds!
google avatar

Michelle Y.

Yelp
Their Manager Lisa is a great communicator and so easy to work with. I organized for a group of about 30 of my classmates to come and grab food and drinks during happy hour. I have to say, I have my eye on their calamari for next time. Otherwise, the pizza was great. They are pricey, but the happy hour price is totally worth it. The restaurant inside is an italian restaurant, and the outdoor patio is Tiki -Hawaiin themed. It's super festive and fun. There are games, it's colorful, and there are two bars you can order from. They have misters throughout the patio and it's very chill and refreshing. It is not a dog friendly patio (lots of fake grass). The parking lot is a little small and cramped, so carpool if you can. I recommend calling in advance to make sure their patio is open. It's only closed if there is a chance for rain/thunderstorms. You should be fine :) Sometimes they do have special events so call in advance. There are two times for Happy Hour (HH) 1/2 off pizzas and non specialty drinks *5-11pm PATIO (call ahead to check if its open) *11pm-4am INDOORS

Yelp
Fun "backyard" tiki bar that is definitely unexpected next to its counterpart, Casa Di Amore. The cocktails were great, and the atmosphere is fun. It was a nice place to wait for our dinner table, however, we waited an extra 20 minutes after our reservation time. It almost seemed like the table took longer in order to get us to have an extra cocktail. Which wouldn't have been a big deal, but in this heat the outdoor fans didn't seem to make a huge difference. Overall, it was fun & had good happy hour specials!
google avatar

Melissa S.

Yelp
This place was so fun! We took our kids(20 and 15) because it was the only tiki place that allows for under 21. The Mai Tai is on point! Our server was super sweet and took our photo with the Aku Aku statue. The white pizza was pretty tasty too! The only thing I did not especially love was it was a live music night and the performer was doing 90s covers and they were loud and mediocre. Overall I recommend it- super fun pop-up tiki.
google avatar

Yelp
So glad Tiki Di Amore reopened after COVID. The service was fantastic, they took great care of our table and others. The food and drinks were yummy as always! Clean, friendly, fun vibes and delicious!

Yelp
WOW! Who would've known this little gem was right behind the kitschy little Italian restaurant. But then... it's also kind of perfectly appropriate. Kitschy Italian restaurant meets kitschy tiki bar. I don't mean this in a bad way--I mean it in the fun, silly, non-sense kind of way. The colorful drinks, the little umbrellas and stir-sticks. The Easter Island Heads, the fake animal heads, the tiki skirts and thatched roofs over the bars. The vibes and drinks are both vibrant and delicious. This is my new fave spot to bring friends visiting from out of town!

Jody R.

Yelp
The drinks and the food are delish! The bartender Robin is awesome and the entertainment the night we were there were so much fun "sumpin' else"! The atmosphere surrounding you makes you feel like you are near a beach somewhere in the tropics.
google avatar

Agnes S.

Yelp
A-YO...! This tiki spot has been open for almost a year now, and we haven't paid them a visit until recently! WTH were we thinking?! Was it the skepticism attached to it being attached to an Italian restaurant? Possibly. *SIGH* The shame I feel for initially having low expectations, even after my coworkers told me to give it a shot with my husband. My entire social circle that gave this place a try were right, and I was in the wrong. Well, time to make up for it! Instead of shooting it down for being attached to an old school Italian restaurant, it should be celebrated for just that! LOL. It's definitely heaven for my husband - he loves ordering pizza during their happy hour as we drink at least 2 rounds of tiki. Oh, man... Their large pizza isn't huge like the real NY, but if I gotta fold from my crust and see that pepperoni and cheese grease almost drip, it's freakin' close enough. The tiki drinks are definitely up to par with the rest of Vegas' tiki bars. It's got a mix of classic (e.g., Three Dots and a Dash) and new (at least I've never seen them before) like this raspberry thing that reminded me of fancy-flavored lemonade XD Y'all know that drinks like that are dangerous 'cause ya can't gauge when you've had too much. They've still got room for tiki drink development. Can't go wrong with $11/tiki drink either, especially when the others have raised their prices. The environment/setting is on point too! I'll quote my husband on this: "If I could build a tiki bar at home, it'd be like this." It's comfortable and not overtop hoarding with tiki decor. Having 2 original pieces from the late Stardust's Aku Aku is a sweet deal too. The one thing you'll notice though is that the actual tiki bar isn't stocked with alcohol. Yup... All drinks are made inside Casa di Amore's bar, and completely understandable 'cause there's no real rooftop above the space. Still bustin' out good drinks though! What really makes us happy though is the service... Every rep out there has been nothin' shy of cool and courteous. Reps like Kayla (sp.) who will gladly make drink recommendations based off of her original favorites (before they changed the menu) and will still chat up a friendly storm with every customer at the "bar" area. Best believe this is now in the tiki rotation and somewhere to take our out-of-towners. *FYI to the hardcore tiki-ers: no collectible mugs (yet).

Yelp
One of Vega's dinner and drink legions. The place is a drop back of an era by gone. Great food, the pizza was just the way it was back then. Definitely should be on your Vegas dining stops.

Yelp
The smoker's at the bar choked us out after fifteen minutes. Happy Hour is kind of lame only beer and shots and wine. For a tiki bar not to have tiki drinks on happy hour is strange. The Restaurant is super fantastic!

Yelp
This is a very interesting back yard garden to Cafe Di Amore. Came here in December when it was a bit cold and they turned on the fireplace for us to keep us nice and toasty. We wanted a place to grab a quiet drink and this place is perfect. Outside, open air, with some kind of island like feeling. It was near empty, but a few people showed up. The ambiance and decor are okay. The drinks are good and they have a good happy hour, while the drinks inside are full price, outside, they are discounted during happy hour. Check it out, Not bad, and I will try it again in the future to see if my feelings change on it or not.
