This was our first time to visit this venue. Tiki Huna is a great place for all ages. Casual picnic tables with Jenga, made it inviting to hang around. It's an outdoor venue with great live music. The bartenders are great and can mix just about any drink. Ask for Brian.

Great hidden gem of a tiki bar - the theming and atmosphere were fantastic! Friendly service, tasty drinks with a good mix of authenticity and innovation. Really enjoyed the "Piña en Fuega". They do also have a few canned beers and seltzers if tiki drinks aren't your thing.

Google
Tiki Huna was great for being one of the only Tiki bars in KC. The bartender was awesome, as most bartenders at Tiki bars are. This was an outdoor only venue with multiple food/drink places surrounding picnic tables. They also had a DJ and corn hole further into the venue. The drink itself was very tasty, but I would say in comparison to other tiki bars across the nation there were fewer options. They were also unable to make ANY changes to the drink my friend ordered, as it was pre-mixed.

Tasty authentic tiki, coupled with prompt efficiency. These guys are the best! Brian always makes certain to mention the special offerings and is helpful in narrowing down your specific tastes.

Yelp
Trent and the bartenders make excellent tiki drinks; both standards and originals. Plan your visit with an eye to the weather as this is an outdoor venue, which adds to the ambience. Tiki Huna is in the Iron District, so adjoining shops that share the outdoor space include several food vendors, a vintage clothing shop and a plant store. If you visit on a Sunday afternoon, you'll get to hear the recording of Kansas Public radio's Retro Cocktail Hour. Check the socials for other special events. Back to Tiki Huna: you want to visit this urban oasis

Yelp
This is a fun Tiki bar located in Iron District. They have several rum based cocktails that are super flavorful and not skimpy on the booze. I ordered a Lost Amongst the Clouds: Rums, fresh lemon and grapefruit, apricot, passion fruit, and angostura bitters. This cocktail is perfect for summer. It was bright and citrusy with so many flavors. I would definitely order it again. My boyfriend tried the Rum Runner: rums, fresh lemon and lime, blackberry, banana, and grenadine. I tried a sip and it was also super good. I would totally get it in the future. If you don't yourself in Iron district definitely grab a drink. I don't think you can make a wrong choice.

Yelp
Visited today (4/11/24) and am happy to report that Tiki Huna makes a fine adult beverage. This is clearly a labor of love establishment, and it shows. Had an enjoyable conversation with the owner about all things tiki, other tiki bars, and whether homemade falernum is better than purchased falernum (it depends, really). Highly recommend!

Yelp
Love a spit where bartenders can improvise. They helped give us some great NA drinks and when a shot wouldn't do, they easily converted them to a double. Quick service and friendly. Grab something to go along with your meal as you listen to the live music.

Yelp
Great little tiki hut in the iron district. The iron district is cargo train cars all placed together in a large courtyard with different places to eat and drink at. It can be found in the small ramp behind all the plants. They specialize is cocktails. I had the Saturn cocktail and was pretty strong. The sizes of the cocktails are different based on the glass they come in. The vibes here make u feel very island like. I'd definitely go back.

Yelp
Loved this hidden oasis in the Iron District. Their menu is pretty large, with a ton of alcoholic and nonalcoholic options to choose from. I opted for their Dog Days of Pineapple, which was refreshing, sweet, and light. Be careful though, just a couple of these could really hurt you. The weather was perfect to enjoy, and there are so many food options in the space to pair this with.

Yelp
Strong drinks and ice cold in a fun outdoor venue. Live music on Friday night right next to them - great venue in the Iron District!

Yelp
This is located in the Iron District. It's very unassuming from the outside - driving by I would have never known there was something other than a few stacked containers there. It was pouring rain so we didn't get to enjoy the courtyard but there was alao a covered patio and an upstairs seating area. There are a few outdoor games and some picnic tables in the courtyard. Each little container has a different business in it - food, bars, clothing, etc. The tiki bar is adorable and the bartender was very friendly. It's always fun to try the speciality drinks at a tiki bar because everyone comes up with different concoctions. You should definitely give this place a try!

Yelp
Going coronoa crazy like a shipwrecked pirate‍? A mermaid looking for a new shore? Tiki Huna is the island oasis in the heart of KC is a cool treat in the heat. Smart tiki cocktails and retro vibe is a staycationing paradise. A guava mimosa hit the spot on a hot KC day.

Yelp
The drinks were very well done although un-garnished? A cool concept with a great rum collection but just needs some polish.

Yelp
I love the Blackbeard! I'm not a rum drinker but I love all the homemade syrups and old fashion bartending. Anyone can pour a drink! This guy pours the best craft cocktails in town.
