Passed this place a couple of days ago on Green Valley Rd and decided to give it a try today. So glad we did. The food was hands down delicious and Maximillian gave us outstanding service. Had the Beef Jerky as an appetizer, my wife had Orange chicken and I had Chicken Basil. Even the chicken rice soup was excellent! A small place with big flavor. Will definitely be eating there again! Highly recommend!

Okay so blooper first *My whole order; Veggie chow mein, crispy shrimp, & tofu yellow curry* Now the Haha part, I get home getting ready to make plates & everyone had food except me, the curry was chicken and I'm vegan. I called back to the restaurant & my food was replaced with tofu, I really appreciate the service here. Also doesn't hurt that they are a husband wife team. My family enjoyed everything including the curry, it was spiced just right for everyones liking. A hidden away place we most definitely will be back to, also doesn't hurt we live within walking distance as well. I know where my quarantine 15 will come from. Hahaha

We were actually at CodFather next door. We have eaten at Tiki. Great food with a wacky theme. Hot dogs Chicago style. Loved their Singapore style noodles. Sorry tiki we ate next door.

I just discovered this hidden gem. There are so many Thai places in this area but I finally, FINALLY found the best one. The decor is simple and they have other, very non-thai menu items, which is different. But the service is great and the food is great. We will be visiting often.

Google
They are so good. We had both kinds of food, my friend had the Sahlen’s hotdog and I had the Thai. Everything we ordered was great. We will definitely be back again soon.

Yelp
One of my favorite Thai place for sure! I have door dash and ate inside couple times . Just barely put in a review lol I love the food. I have no complaints everything my family and i order have been delicious. One of my favorite is the garlic chicken fried rice and crying tiger.. sooo bomb, my husband really like the durian sticky rice dessert , it's pretty good but I love the mango sticky rice which I think they stopped. They have good customer service friendly and the food came fast . The place is small , but very clean ..good vibe . I highly recommend this if you're looking for some good Thai food!!

Yelp
A good friend of mine told me about this place that has been her go-to favorite Thai place in New York. Mama Pam herself has moved to Las Vegas, and while I'm sure she is missed in New York, I hope she will be well-loved in her new Vegas location at Green Valley Parkway. The place itself is unassuming, simple clean tables with minimal decor. That's probably because the food speaks for itself -- everything we had, from the fresh chicken larb salad, to the beef and ball noodle soup, and the anchovy fried rice was excellent. The broth was deeply flavored and soul-satisfying, and the salad provided a fresh flavor contrast to the richness of the soup and the meat. The anchovy rice is so much more than anchovy -- it is a melange of salted baby shrimp, rice tossed in shrimp paste, fried chicken strips, egg, green onions, red onions, chilies, and cilantro. Mix well for the perfectly balanced bite. We went there for the ox-tail soup, which sadly, is so popular that they ran out of it even before lunch service started. Mama Pam, who is so friendly and accommodating, says best to call ahead so she can make it fresh for you as it is the kind of soup that takes days to make to build flavor. The sticky rice with durian was a delight -- I think I might like it more than the mango version. The service is friendly and knowledgeable. I'll be back for sure!

Yelp
This hole in the wall restaurant is a gem! The food was so good. Felt very home made. We got the crispy fried chicken fried rice, crying tiget, panang curry and thai coffee. That fried rice was so good you can eat it in its own. The crying tiger was not spicy but it has a small kick. The panang curry was delicious and packed with lotsa veggies. I overheard to try the anchovy fried rice so definitely coming back.

Nina S.

Yelp
We order delivery . When we got the foods still hot . The soup so good . Next time I need order less spicy .

Eva H.

Yelp
Really good! Love the mom & pops feel =) Definitely authentic THAI FOOD. Would recommend coming to try! Esp. if you live in the area! I wish there was another location closer to me!

Christina E.

Yelp
The service was great. I ordered the Pas See Eil and it was delicious. I will definitely be back.

Sharen D.

Yelp
The food was excellent. We only had 2 items of the extensive menu. Pad Thai and Yellow Curry. Do watch the heat level. No alcohol though! Service was perfect!

Doriee L.

Yelp
I find that a lot of Thai places in the valley had fallen off the ladder. Places that we used to love no longer taste as good and those that still maintain their quality have gone up in price. We are extremely excited to have found Mama Pam! My friend told me about this place and off we go to try everything we possibly can! Mama Pam is a prime example of a mom and pop shop and they get busy! Be sure to come early for dinner or make reservations. When they are busy, the service can get slow since they don't have a ton of cooks/servers on deck. We've tried a variety of dishes including their pad thai, pad ke mao, roasted duck curry, crispy pork with chinese broccoli, crab fried rice, catfish pad ped, garlic fried chicken fried rice, oxtail soup, and durian sticky rice. My absolute favorite is their pad thai. Of course I've never been to Thailand so I can't say what is authentic or not but their pad thai is probably the best that I've had in Vegas. It had the perfect blend of savory, tangy, and sweet. I typically don't order crab fried rice but Mama Pam's crab fried rice comes with an extremely addicting sauce for you to use. It's a tangy and spicy sauce with hints of sweetness to it and goes fantastic with the rice. I honestly need to see if they sell this sauce separately because I want to bring home the whole bottle. Their oxtail soup is also another favorite. It actually reminds me of the "leng saeb" dish, which is pork bone broth with fish sauce, cilantro, garlic, peppers, and lime. It's extremely delicious with rice. The prices of their dishes are extremely reasonable compared to other Thai establishments. The food is delicious and worth the wait. Definitely recommend them and I can't wait to visit again!

Yelp
Visited over the weekend and we really enjoyed our experience. The food was very flavorful with generous portions. Service was excellent and attentive as our water glasses were never empty. It was a mom and pop cute restaurant filled with Thai culture in the decor. Love this little gem!

Jackie G.

Yelp
I work in Henderson and decided to try this place. I ordered through Uber eats and could you believe I got my food in less than 20 minutes! I was in the mood for some mango sticky rice, one of my all time favorites!! The mango was incredibly tender and juicy. Perfectly sweet! There was an ABUNDANCE of coconut cream sauce. The rice was incredible and it had a saltiness to it that paired perfectly with the sweetness from the coconut and mango. This is absolutely going to be one of my go to places for mango sticky rice. I can't wait to try more of the food!

Ivan P.

Yelp
Saw this on a Vegas foodie persons IG and thought, "I need to try this for myself as I like when food can be cooked authentically from a person of that nationality". When we first arrived it was very busy with only 45 minutes till they close. I was hoping to eat in but there were no seats, so I decided we would just take it home and enjoy it in our own comfort. I did like how they had the lights dim and played a nice Thai street food video on their TV, sometimes I can get a better idea of what I want from watching that. I'd say the price you pay here is definitely on point with most Thai restaurants that I do like to frequent. When I got home and laid out the spread for my wife and I, the aroma of the spices and coconut milk got me excited. The food was just so darn tasty and making the drive there was worth it. I'm really at a loss of words to describe how good it was and all I can say is that anyone who decides to eat here will be pleased.

Lisa E.

Yelp
Came here for dinner one night and it was pretty packed. I came in with a high expectation based on the reviews. I was greeted by a staff and we got seated immediately. Service was a little slow but understandable since they only had 2 people in the front running the restaurant. Here's my rating of food: Duck curry: 3/5 duck was meh, curry was good but I wish they put more veggies in. Garlic chicken fried rice: 3.5/5 the chicken and dipping sauce were good but the rice had a very overwhelming flavor of fish oil. Thai tea: 5/5 Overall had a good experience.

Robbin B.

Yelp
Damn, Mama Pam can cook! I'll start by saying I love Thai food! I've had my favorite spot for years, nothing has ever compared- until today! On my first visit to this tiny spot I left very impressed! This food was ultra fresh with excellent flavors including nice portions with plenty of goodness. Today we enjoyed: 1. Crispy Calamari appetizer- perfectly cooked with great flavor. 2. Beef Salad- yum! 3. Shrimp Pad Thai -nice size shrimp paired with great flavor. 4. Chicken chow mein- excellent flavors with fresh veggies that remained crisp! 5. Combo Pad Thai (no egg) - cooked perfectly with loads of flavor including yummy tender meat & shrimp. I'm very happy to have a new favorite Thai spot much closer to home :-) Friendly service in this small dining area, we're excited to return!

Lydia S.

Yelp
Finally stopped in for lunch. Was by myself so I was only able to try the pad eggplant. But it was excellent! Great portion size. Came with a cup of jasmine rice. Good mix of perfectly cooked eggplant, green and red bell peppers, onions, and basil. Not too much sauce to feel greasy, but enough to coat the rice. The restaurant was busy, packed even, but the food still came out quickly and the server was gracious. The restaurant is a little dark and some of the tables looked a little cramped, but it was clean and well kept in a strip mall with ample parking. Can't wait to go back and try more dishes.

Jenna N.

Yelp
This is my family all time favorite Thai restaurant in Manhattan, NY. I was so happy to learn that they moved from NY to Las Vegas! When visiting LV from San Diego, I have to come here. My favorite are the pad see ewe and lump crab fried rice. All the other dishes we tried have amazing flavors. We chose spice level 3. Will try level 4 next time.

Yelp
We decided to visit least Saturday for a late lunch around 4pm and sat at the only open table and Papa Pam recognized us from our previous visit and came over to say hello even though they were very busy. This time we ordered the Tom Yum Noodle soup again it was good and usual but it was a bit too sweet. The E-SAN Pad Thai was very good and different where the sauce is not have Tamarind Paste but was Sweet Soy based. The Crispy Pork with Chinese Broccoli was good but thee Crispy Pork was not crispy at all. I think Mama Pam was in a hurry because of the crowd and tossed in the pork at the same time with the Broccoli rather than at the end. Overall still very good. Next time we'll have to try the Crying Tiger Appetizer which looked really good in the pics a yelper posted.

Lory F.

Yelp
The food was delicious! So good! My favorite is the Tom Ka yummy soup! The beautiful blend of flavors is so unusually good.

Janess B.

Yelp
Yummmm! Better than expected! I ordered out via Yelp. I got the garlic chicken fried rice since it was recommended. They made it fairly quickly! 10min after I put the order- it was ready. Staff was friendly when I entered and gave me my togo. It smelled so good that I couldn't wait to get home and eat it! The portion is pretty big. The chicken was plentiful. It was still crispy and warm when I got it. The batter was pretty good but I felt it need more seasoning. I was expecting a special sauce for this but they only gave me a sweet chili sauce. This would have gone great with like a peanut or sesame sauce. The fried rice though was amazing! It was so good that I couldn't get enough. Seasoned and cooked perfectly. Ambiance was casual. Quiet for lunch. Can't wait to come back!

Jasmine ..

Yelp
We got the Tom yum soup, pad Thai glass noodles, and roasted duck curry. I liked the soup, it was very refreshing and light. The curry was a bit watery. My favorite was the glass noodles! I think one of their plumbing pipes broke because it smelled kind of like sewer in there.

je t.

Yelp
Dined in for lunch and it was spectacular! We enjoyed the Crying Tiger, the Beef Salad, and the Crispy Pork with Chinese Broccoli -- all tasty, fresh, and plentiful. We brought home some leftovers.

Chris V.

Yelp
One wonders if this is another restaurant back from the dead... Perhaps the signage and menus don't look like a similarly named business that used to be open in Chinatown, but the name Mama Pam Real Thai Food sure does sound similar. That said, I do know that they replaced an Ocha Thai Express, and I did hear a story on a local podcast about how the prior owner of the space tasted the chef's recipes and enjoyed them so much that they sold it to her. Does that fit the story? Maybe! Anyway, the real takeaway is that my takeout dinner was damn good. #N12 Pad Key Mao w/ Chicken ($12.95): soft noodles, tender chicken, juicy bell peppers, and a nice overall sweetness. I'd have it again for sure. #E1 Pad Ka Prow with Pork ($12.95): lots of basil and more delicious bell peppers. Pork was nice, and brown sauce was pretty balanced. #P2 Jumbo Lump Crab Fried Rice ($17.95): great rice dish. The crab is ample and the egg is nice too, although both are served in a huge clump and need to be separated out. The lime was a bit dry when I got to it, but the acidity from the lime juice as well as the spicy chili sauce on the side add so much necessary brightness. #C4 Panang Curry with Beef ($14.00): a slight disappointment. Asked for mild spiciness and got something which tasted more like medium considering how much I was sweating. The beef was kinda pale and tough, so I would avoid ordering beef from them in general. At least the curry was pretty good, although not addictive enough to make me push through the heat. Maybe I've had too many disappointments elsewhere, but Mama Pam Real Thai Food is the best new entry-level Thai restaurant which I've tried in a while. It's around a 4.5 star rating, which this platform unfortunately does not support. It's not destination dining, but Henderson residents should consider making this their Thai go-to.

Minet L.

Yelp
The food is fantastic, it's the most delicious Thai restaurant I've been in Vegas, the place is small but cozy, everyone there is nice and friendly. Lately I've been there at least once a week! Mango sticky rice is the best!

Jerome A.

Yelp
I was excited to try this place since I was craving Thai food, but my experience was a bit disappointing. After I sat down, a couple of people who came in after me got their food first. No one checked on me, and I ended up waiting about 45 minutes for just two dishes. My entree came out first, and then my appetizer (a salad) arrived 10 minutes later. It wasn't that busy, so the wait was unexpected. It might have just been an off night. I'm sure it's not like this all the time, but this is just my experience. The food was alright, but customer service is really big to me.

Wendy K.

Yelp
Let me preface this review by saying that I have had great food and great service from Mama Pam in the past. However, last night was very disappointing. The order was not ready until 20 past the promised pick up time and the restaurant was not busy. The order was incorrect (item missing) and the food was not great. Don't know if they were training somebody new, if the regulars were out, but it just wasn't the same.

Tina D.

Yelp
It could have been better. I only had the Chicken Satay. The chicken itself was good but peanut sauce had off taste. The prices were overpriced and place way too small for dine in. I doubt I will go back there.

AJ D.

Yelp
Stopped in after driving by so many times. I was feeling basic so ordered the Pad Thai...it unfortunately was a little on the bland side for me. Don't know if it was that day or that's just their dish but we also had Pad See Eli And shrimp mango salad which were both bursting with flavor. So Id give them the benefit of the doubt and try it again. The service was really quick and very nice. That alone will get me back. Stop by..give it a try

Rose H.

Yelp
Small friendly and delicious place to enjoy a quiet dinner. Manu has a lot of great dishes and tasty delights. We had Tom Kha soup. They ask for spice level and we got 5 wow way too hot for us. Suggestion order 1-2 and add hot sauce to liking. Garlic fried chicken fried rice was delicious. Garlic was mixed and cook in the rice and the chicken was crispy tender and good portions

Grace T.

Yelp
Small Mom and Pop with a Vibe of homey/class It seems relatively new, but I was surprised with the tasty dishes we ordered. The staff was accommodating with the ingredients we wanted. Amazing gem! For the salted fish fried rice, they used real salted fish, and adding the spice and lemon made it yummy. They cooked the eggplant with basil, which is so good with a hint of adobo flavor. I recommend trying this place out and being curious. I would say it is pretty much authentic.

Rachell V.

Yelp
Overall it's so cute, from the decorations, to the staff who give you compliments, to the food. I absolutely love the food, my man & I shared spicy basil fried rice, panang curry, the pad key mao (drunk noodle), & mango sticky rice & all 4 were delicious & highly recommend them. Sorry for the lack of photos but we'll be coming back to try out more food! If you love thai food, come try it out!

Alexandra W.

Yelp
A solid hidden gem which serves up authentic Thai cuisine that has you wanting to come back for more. Depth in flavors, sauces, spices and a generally wide variety of dishes off the menu. Thai tea made fresh, the pad key mao (aka drunken noodle) is outstanding! Spice-level is customized but on- point! Kid and family-friendly. Intimate environment and clean space. Service was attentive and friendly.

Nenette A.

Yelp
I was in the area north green valley Henderson saw this place for my late lunch. Ordered crab fried rice with a big chunk of scrambled egg on top of the rice, also ordered fried tofu and beef soup. I would say the beef on my soup is tender, not fresh, broth was good but not hot. Fried tofu is not so crispy, it could be served better if they just fried it by itself. My crab fried rice is a lot but not as I can imagine from other Thai place I have tried. Paid $57.00 on this lunch. Server is nice though... her name is Ali. So in my review I give this place 3 star for improvement.

Theresa C.

Yelp
Crying tiger appetizer was good with the dipping sauce, meat was a little more tough than some other places we have tried. Really enjoyed the garlic fried chicken and fried rice. Fried rice has a really authentic flavor, similar to a place we enjoy in San Diego. The garlic chicken is moist and crispy coating and great flavor. The pad se ew is pretty standard. Overall good option for Thai food on this side of town. It did take a little longer for the food to come out than we expected but there were a few other tables there.

Tim L.

Yelp
The food came out fast and hot. The chicken pad Thai had just ok flavor, no heat. So it was nothing memorable.

Gina A.

Yelp
Food is always fantastic and service is great! You can taste the love! We all love watching the travel videos, too!

Gracie J.

Yelp
Kudos to Mama Pam! I wasn't going to go get Thai but upon seeing their storefront banner changed my mind about what I wanted to eat and decided to dine-in. It's a small restaurant and service was pleasant and friendly. The food was SO GOOD! Bursting with flavor and served to the spice level you requested. They have a good variety of spices and chili oil you can add on for even more kick. Both my hubby and I greatly enjoyed our entrees. A+, no notes.

Rustin L.

Yelp
We tried the spot for the first time the other night and excited we may have found an authentic Thai place here in Henderson. The Pad Se Eil flat noodles were great, crispy pork belly with greens, jungle curry too. Only thing we didn't like were the fried shrimp rolls. They came out hot but the filling was under cooked and warm. Had all the indications of a frozen roll that wasn't cooked all the way. When we entered she asked if we had a reservation, which I said no and laughed to myself because it was pretty empty and a Tuesday. But about 20-30 mins after we sat down, the place got packed. So very popular spot. Excited to try the oxtail soup next time, along with a different noodle dish and different curry to taste more of the menu.

Vilasinee C.

Yelp
- The foods was good, very authentic. - I order through GarbHub and write notes on each meal about what I want/need and none of the requests were met or attempted to make it that way. I don't think the server was even considered to look at it. Maybe because they don't get tips from the GH that's why they didn't care.

Y'von S.

Yelp
Great Thai restaurant! The curry was very delicious and flavorful. The fried tofu was exactly what I wanted (I've been craving fried tofu for weeks!) with the sweet sauce with peanuts. The location was very convenient with a family friendly atmosphere inside. The service was good. The waitress was quick and gave great suggestions.

Kay C.

Yelp
Small place and was almost empty when we arrived. We came early and were helped right away. Ordered just the panang curry and pad see ew as we weren't very hungry. The food was delicious. Spice level of the food was reflective of what we had ordered. Service was quick. By the time we left, almost all the tables were filled! I would definitely come back and try other things here. The menu is big so there are many options.

Lexi S.

Yelp
This is my go to Thai spot! I've come here numerous times and went to multiple spots in search of the best tasting Som Tum (Papaya Salad). I get spicy 10 and let me you tell you, it's on point! I can eat spicy and many places are very mild even at the highest level. The name of the restaurant says it all REAL THAI FOOD! Omg I'm in love with the papaya salad here! It always tastes consistently the same! So damn good!! The actual spice on top of it. Yummy!!! The five stars is well deserved! The service is awesome as well! I haven't dined in because I just don't have the time right now. I always call in and my order is always on point! They know me now because of my spice level and order. Lol. I would def recommend this place. I'm super picky when it comes to Asian food. This place, two thumbs up! I will keep coming back! I also get the pad see eww with chicken, that's also very delicious! They don't stay open so late for us late eaters but maybe if business picks up they would open a little bit later? Lol That's why I'm leaving this review, in hopes everyone else will give this place a try. I won't go anywhere else now for my papaya salad. I'm a loyal fan.Hahaha Oh yeah, the Thai tea is yummy too. Try for yourself if you want authentic thai food.

Beth T.

Yelp
Mama pams again, food is so good. The service is awesome as usual. Nice little place to get the best thai food in las vegas.

T V.

Yelp
The food was really good. The only bad thing was that on one of the items that I had ordered, the fried rice, I asked for no onions due to an allergy. When the order arrived, the rice was packed with onions, which is unfortunate because we weren't able to eat this item. I checked our receipt and it said Claire's day no onions due to allergy restrictions. So I don't know what happened, but it was a disappointment. Again other than that, the food that we were able to eat was really good.

Lissa V.

Yelp
So glad I found this place! I been looking for a new Thai restaurant and came across this gem from a Tik tok video. Super authentic and tasty! Service was very nice as well. First time I came here, I ordered the rib eye and drunken noodles. both great proportions and 10/10 in flavor! I got 6/10 spicy which was perfect for me. Sometimes a 6 at other places is still too hot. Their food was so tasty that I went back the next day to try the garlic fried rice! They said it was one of the most popular dishes. Another 10/10! This will definitely be my new Thai spot even though I live 20 min away. It's well worth it!

Kevin L.

Yelp
Hole in the wall with some truly delicious Pad Thai. Having never been to Thailand, I can't attest to "authentic" flavors, but the Pad Thai had a lot of tamarind flavor which I feel that a lot of typical Thai restaurants just can't seem to achieve. The noodles, flavor, and portion of this dish is excellent and the restaurant has generally lower prices than Thai restaurants such as Archi's or Weera. Considering this seems like a truly mom and pop type of restaurant, service can get a little slow and behind. However, every table is usually full and you don't see an unhappy customer despite needing to wait a little longer - good food is worth the wait. The biggest issue we've had so far though is them not having all their menu items available. Both times, they did not have the whole fish. And the second time we went they ran out of flat noodles so I could not try the Pad See Ew. That being said, this is a must-visit and we will return as often as we can.

Kim D.

Yelp
Mama Pam is a great place to eat the Khao Soi, it was the best I ever had . The plate presentation was so pretty, the flavor was amazing at level 5 . I did not do the chicken leg , instead I did pieces of chicken . The curry sauce is delectable. We will be going back . The Gyoza was great with the homemade garlic chili . Lastly the waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Glady A.

Yelp
Ever had REAL and AUTHENTIC Thai food? Try Mama Pam's Thai restuarant in Green Valley Henderson! Convienantly located near La Bonita supermarket! Have lunch after you buy your groceries cause we all know mom's (and dads) need to treat themselves too! Mama Pam's cozy restuarant will make you feel right at home as she serves you delicious Thai food! Friendly service and clean restuarant, you'll be stuffed the the large portions they serve. Food: The Calamari (5/5) was crispy, juicy and delcious! The sweet and spicy chili sauce paired well with the crispiness of the calamari! Dip it in! The pad thai noodles (5/5) we fresh and sweet and just the right amount of tangy flavor! You can customize the spicy level as well! I ordered no spice and it still tasted amazing! Love pad thai with shrimp! Try it! The crispy pork with chinese broccoli (5/5) was also delicious! The slight bitterness of the chinese broccoli paired well with the cripsy pork and sauce that came with it! It comes with white rice so no need to order! Overall, we would definitely come back and try different dishes! Thry had so many that I just couldn't pick! Will definitely be ordering their chef specials like the jumbo crab fried rice! And dessert too!

Alexandra N.

Yelp
Solid Thai spot around the corner from my office. Was slightly disappointed when everyone hyped it up, but maybe I just came on an off day. Pad see ew noodles weren't cut all the way and instead I ended up with a giant rice noodle slab. Was 1-2 dollars more expensive than other places but isn't everything more expensive now? Either way I'd love to come back and give this place another shot.

Benja Y.

Yelp
Super cute mom and pop . Really friendly. Love the portion size. Really made me and my cousin feel welcomed . The food was 8/10 recommend trying the place trying this place if you're in the area.

Tiffany H.

Yelp
I ordered through Uber eats. Got my food hot, ordered the jumbo crab fried rice. The egg mixed with the REAL crab was exceptional. Wonderfully flavored with a touch of spicy ness. I love how they had a tiny of container of real bird's eye peppers sliced in to bit pieces to throw on top if it wasn't enough heat for your meal. I would definitely order again and recommend here!
