Tiki Tide Kava

Tiki Tide is the best Kava Bar I've been to. Eric and Amy, the owners, are the absolute best as well. They make the atmosphere so chill and comforting. It's a great place to socialize, but they also have a back room if you want some privacy. Kat served us and she was just as amazing. Best of all, the drinks are made to perfection. I tried both the Kava & the Kratom. They even have Kratom on tap and I highly recommend the hibiscus blend. So if you are looking for a Kava Bar, Tiki Tide is the place to go. Come and enjoy great drinks and great people!!!

Tiki Tide is truly one of the best kava bars in Florida. The care and attention to detail that the owners and employees place in the bar & customer experience is unmatched. Not only is it such a safe space to work or unwind, but their drinks are incredible. My favorites are the Iced Kratty Coffee with caramel, green kratom tea with vanilla and lavender, and the Rainforest Rootbeer herbal tea. They also have events throughout the week that everyone can enjoy. Bula!

Their passion shows in every detail, and it makes the space feel like community/family. The art is stunning—murals and large pieces that give the bar so much character. There’s also a comfy back room that’s perfect for small groups to chill and connect. The drinks? Always on point—some of the best I’ve had—and reasonably priced. And the customer service reflects the high standards Amy and Eric clearly value. TikiTide also hosts live music and events all the time, which adds another layer of magic to the experience. 10/10! I’ve been goin to Kava & Kratom bars for the past eight years, with Tiki Tide actually being my first introduction to them years ago. It’s been under new ownership for the past year and I’ve been meaning to check it out. What a difference maker! I’ve found myself here two weeks in a row despite there being ten other places closer. Their drinks are second to none. Their Kratom draft from Leaves & Roots is without a doubt the best Kratom drink available. No weird artificial stuff and zero grit. Other places use cheap extracts to try to cover the taste, but no shortcuts here. The owners are also huge kava enthusiasts, and you’ll find their kava amongst the best available. No watered down cheap kava that has taken over with the explosion of new bars. Service was perfect both nights, always making sure everyone is taken care of and you’re not waiting 20 minutes to get a kavatender’s attention. The place itself is very nicely done with a lot of attention to detail. It’s a cozy, yet comfortable environment. It’s one main long bar plus a back room. This setup makes everyone feel like family and so welcome. I’m more an introvert and take time getting comfortable somewhere, but I had some great conversations both nights. Everything about the place is welcoming and calming. If you haven’t been since the new ownership, it’s an absolute must visit.

I have heard of this bar for a long time. I finally had the chance to visit. Its beautiful, the interior is amazing and the drinks are amazing. Fran took care of my and she is awesome! Tiki Tide is a great place to kick it on a Saturday night. I cannot wait to go back. I have heard great and wonderful things about the owners, I hope to meet them one day. 🙏

Dropped in for the first time today and really enjoyed it. Brian was very helpful behind the bar and prepped some lovely drinks. The interior is quite unique and as a lover of classic movies, it was a cool vibe. 5 stars

Absolutely excellent! Bula!! The atmosphere is chill and friendly . The kava and kratom are fresh and they have some cool recipes for fun drinks . Moses (yes that’s the kava tenders name fr) can get you a delicious drink to relax you AND kosher!

Tiki Tide is officially my new little oasis. The second I walked in, the vibe grabbed me by the hand like, "Girl, relax. We got you." The décor is tropical, cozy, and just cute enough to make you forget your real-life responsibilities for a bit. Francesca, the bartender, deserves her own five stars. Friendly, attentive, and somehow reading my taste buds like tarot cards. She handed me a Chai Kava that was so good I had to take a moment of silence after the first sip. Their kava is fresh, flavorful, and honestly some of the best I've had. The crowd? Super friendly. Everyone felt like instant cousins. It's the kind of spot that works for a date, a little hangout with friends, or just vibing solo with your thoughts and a good shell. They also host live music nights and other fun events, so there's always something happening without it ever feeling chaotic. If you're a kava lover and haven't tried Tiki Tide yet, go. Don't walk -- glide. You're welcome in advance.

I'm jealous of locals that they get to hang here regularly. Eric and Amy are the chillest people helping you get kava and kratom that works for you. There's great music on the tv and friendly people to chat with as you get your drink and snack on. The lighting is nice and low and calm making it a perfect place to hang with your friends and enjoy.

Cute little kava bar with laid back and welcoming vibes. We stopped in randomly as we were at the bookstore next door. We were the only ones in the place, and it was perfect. Never heard of or tried Kava or Kratom before. The tea tender, Brian, was super friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us a ton of cool history and shared a lot of fun stories and recommendations with us. Awesome guy to talk to. Later the owner Erik came in and was also super friendly and chatty but in the best way. I don't remember the exact drink I got because we asked them to just make his fav drink - it was something with red kratom, hibiscus lemonade refreshing drink. All in all, super happy we stopped in. We stayed for a couple hours probably just chatting and enjoying the atmosphere.

10/10 -- The owners are seriously amazing and super friendly. Some of the strongest kava I've ever had. The vibe is awesome. Only problem? I just wish they were closer so I could go more often! Love what they have done with the place since taking over.

This is by far the best kava bar in the area! I have endless positive things to say about Tiki Tide kava bar. It's not just the high-grade and high-quality products that they serve, as well as innovative beverages that you won't be able to get elsewhere. They have a very chill atmosphere, and every single one of the staff members are knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. You'll get the family feel... they are community focused and have price points that are very fair. Big shout out to Eric, Amy, Moses, Dan for the memories and incredible experiences... thank you so much for everything you do. We notice.

Can't wait to go again!! We wanted to try Kava again (its been about a year and it's not a pleasant taste but anyway.....) we decided to check out a different place than the first one we went to. The place is small and cozy with dim lighting and some accent tiki head sconces/candles along the wall. As soon as we sat down we started feeling more calm and relaxed. I LOVED the fact that they have mixed kava drinks and offerings aside from the typical root water. I chose a chocolate frappucino type drink which really masked the flavor. My bf got the tsunami for strength, and ultimately decided to add the apple cider flavoring to make the taste more bearable. Personally, i dont think i felt the kava "effects" and will try adding the powder booster next time. We spent some time coloring, but theres also card games, board games, and video games to entertain yourselves. When you order hummus or pita chips: they're literally like buying straight from the supermarket

Tiki Tide is a treasure chest gem located in the sweet town of Dania Beach come in to color, draw, play games and make new friends. Or come alone to zone out and realign your vibes with the crystallized atmosphere.

Pros: Absolutely fantastic service, we tried the mixed green and white kratom with Apple chai, with cream and raspberry, and with the raspberry lemonade. We also purchased kava tea to go. The space is very welcoming and they have board games and pleasant tunes. Cons: Would have loved to see kava cakes, I was hoping they would have some!! Can not wait to return!!

ThiS place was truly an experience! My first time drinking Kava and it relaxed me and made my tongue tingle lol (in a good way). The gentleman working the bar was very enthusiastic sharing the information about Kava and where it comes from. I learned a lot while trying something new!

This place where do I even begin. I have been coming here for quite some time and it's always perfect. From the atmosphere to the kratom and all the fun games, I can't help but to bring my friends and even my mom. Not only is this the best kratom I had ever have, It helps me so much with my sciatica and panic attacks. There's the best snacks, and the best kava/kratom tender Debbie and other wonderful worker I love how I can get rewards and texts on special events. My FAV is the ladies night of course and the Saturday specials this place is a blessing and a perfect hideaway. THE BEST VIBES & THE BEST DRINKS. Thank you for all you do Debbie

This Kava bar has become my regular spot. What sets it a part are the different drinks they make with Kava. If you've never tried Kava, I recommend the iced creamy chai Kava, which is my favorite drink. Another cool thing is that there are different areas to hang out in. Besides the bar with couches, there's a cool Tiki Room in the back and an outside patio. The best thing about this place is the friendliness of the Kavatenders. They welcomed me from the start and introduced me to other customers so it felt like I was already a regular. Go here! You won't be disappointed!

Came here last night and it was a great experience. Very nice and knowledgeable owner that will answer all your questions. Still not used to kava so I ordered the frozen chocolada drink that was delicious and really hid the kava flavor well. Super chill place that's worth a visit

I was here on opening night with my kava family! Great turn out! The owner, Deborah, has created another gem. Perfectly located in close proximity to both 95 and the turnpike on Griffin Rd, Tiki Tide provides the best of both worlds: a touch of modern while remaining true to kava's Polynesian roots. (no pun intended) There are three different kinds of kava to choose from, all providing different effects. The Hawaiian Hiva was my favorite. There are also a HUGE variety of teas to explore! It's clean, it's upbeat, and it's comfortable. Come see for yourself! While you are here, make sure to check out the Tiki Room and the back patio. These are some wonderful touches that separate Tiki Tide from the rest!

They have a bathroom inside as well as a back room super private with video games. Every drink you buy you get a charity chip and can contribute to the local charity of your choice. I have made tons of friends here. I consider this place my safe place as Sou Florida has so many crazies around. My choice drink is the Ice Creamy Chai tea. It tastes like heaven and bonus that its a cold drink. For anyone new to kava bars - just give it a try. You will always meet super interesting folks and from all walks of life. Plus, you dont get any of the presumptious ahole$%^ So Florida seem to have by the buckets. In life my saying is - just chill out.

This is definitely my favorite kava bar in the area. The kava and kratom are excellent, the owner and staff are always friendly, and the environment is relaxing. I usually come here to study or just or hang out. I also love that they donate to local causes. Highly recommend!

This is an amazing place, the owner is frequently there, and Anna and Karina are both so knowledgeable, so welcoming. I didn't know much about kava, and they took the time to explain and teach me. I have some serious health issues, and I have found that kava can replace the more dangerous painkillers. When I am drinking kava, I totally cut them out. I also love that this is a locally owned business, not a chain, and that it is a woman owned business. I enjoy the atmosphere, love the product. I highly recommend this place, especially to those with fibromyalgia and or chronic pain. They care enough to take the time with you. Ever since the first time I came here, I have loved it. The people are friendly, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the kavatenders have always been there to help. They even have an awesome way to give back to the community. Every time you order a drink you're given a "cause coin", which you later put in a jar for a small percentages of $ to go to a various choices of charities. However with my most recent visit, I wasn't as thrilled. I get the same drink here every time, and it's never reached a full $9 by itself before tax. I wasn't told the total, which was fine to me since it's always $8 for the drink I order before tax, but this time I was charged for a "root upgrade" when I didn't ask for it. The new worker comes across with rude vibes, and only speaks to the customers she's already friends with. I hope to be coming back, but definitely not when that tender is working. UPDATE: The owner is very kind, and attentive. After reporting the bad experience with the added charge it was quickly resolved. They genuinely care about their customers!!

Love the atmosphere came in around closing eliana and John were super friendly served us three different types of kava all delicious and a Kratom mango and peach and the most amazing kavalata. Great kavatenders. They have the old Nintendo and outside space with seating and a coloring book and books section with fun interactive games. It's definitely tiki vibes all the way around which just adds to the fun chill relaxedness of the place. there's bar seating, couches in the front and the little game section near the bathroom and the back so it's pretty spacious. Coming back again and next time earlier to enjoy it all. Bula!

Love going to Tiki Tide. Have been going to Tiki for a few months now. I have to say I love that they have an extensive selection of Teas, as I am not a regular Kava drinker. I will say I will give it up to the Kavatenders as they help me explore new options. Every time I go it is an amazing experience. I get to have interesting conversations as well as have a good spot to be able to study and unwind. They have definitely made my time coming here memorable and have been the reason I keep coming back. I have even brought friends who visit from out of town and have said this is an amazing Kava bar to go to.

This is one of my favorite kava bars. The kavatenders are hella friendly and genuinely cool people. Their kratom tastes the best by far and they have so many variations of both kava and kratom!! This place has such a chill vibe, I always enjoy coming here.

This is the best experience I've ever had. I know it's just a kava bar but the girl at the bar really made it such a fun experience to try the different teas and very patiently answered all our questions. Eliana (I really hope I'm spelling her name right) was a total doll helping us and giving excellent options and so kind. This place is pretty far from where we live but we are already talking about making this place a regular trip. If you ever have the chance to visit this little charming place you don't be disappointed if I could leave more than 5 stars I would. Oh and the music was totally on point.

I've been to many Kava Bars in South Florida and this is by far the best. The kava is nice and smooth. The ambiance and the people make it even better. Just what I need after a long, crazy day. It doesn't end there... the kava tenders, especially the owner, Deb made me feel so welcome and a part of. She introduce me to the rest of the crowd and went over the entire menu with me. I highly recommend!!

I've been here twice, once in February and again in April and it's amazing!. Each time the staff was so friendly they walked us through the menu and gave us amazing recommendations, the environment is amazing and so relaxing. While I definitely would consider this to be a hole in the wall it is such a wonderful little establishment. The place is clean, relaxing, and zen. Staff is friendly and professional. The drinks are moderately price but you are paying for quality. I would definitely recommend the Kratty lemonade iced tea and an original kava shell. One of my fav kava bars here in south Florida. Debbie the owner is wonderful and so is staff.

First time coming to a kava bar and it was a great experience! The tea tender debbie was very knowledgeable and helped me pick out the right tea. The customers inside seemed to be regulars there and everyone was extremely polite. I look forward to coming here again!

Put on your best hawaiian shirt and Bula! This kava bar by far has become my new hangout spot/home away from home. I've always been a fan of good kava made by excellent people. Let me tell you the owner Debbie and her fellow employee are what make this place something to admire. They serve only the BEST kava out the hollywood area. I personally recommend the Blacksand kava it is something to behold. I am truly happy that I had found this place on my way to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino one day. I feel now that win or lose at the casino. I know where I can go to unwind for a moment with a fresh cold kava at hand and new friends to hang with!

This is the best spot for kava, kratom, herbal elixirs, and teas. You will not get any of that elitist attitude that some kava places have. The staff is super friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the products they serve and sell. I can't recommend this place enough. Let's not forget how great the vibe and decor are. Went here with my friend and it was amazing!!! The atmosphere, the music, the kava, all of it! And Max was great. He really explained everything to us since we were relatively new to the whole Kava experience. Definetly try the Hawaiian Kava, it was amazing and had a subtle taste. Super happy I found this place!
