Awesome Tiki bar! The cocktails were incredible and you can tell the bartender's take their tiki drinks seriously. The amount of detail and attention paid to each drink was impressive. Loved the large selection of Plantation Rum. Very cozy atmosphere and well-worth the stop if you're visiting Chicago.

I've been on a tiki stint for a bit now, Tiki Tiki Chicago is a great spot to scratch that itch! Good prices, drinks are good (though a little on the sweet side), bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly! If you enjoyed Three Dots and a Dash, you should also check this place out!

The opening time on the website and front window is clearly listed as 5pm for Saturday. We arrived at 7pm, it was closed. We asked about it at the bar next door (Matchbox), and turns out the guy that was supposed to be opening the Tiki Tiki was drinking and socializing there and told us he would open in an hour. Unexpected but fine. We stayed at Matchbox for an hour and 15 minutes before trying again. Still closed. We found the guy again, still chatting it up at the bar next door, and asked if he was open. He said it was another 15-20 minutes. He knew he had customers waiting (over 3 hours after they were supposed to open) and still had absolutely no urgency or respect for our patronage. I love tiki bars and we came to this neighborhood specifically to go here. It was a pretty big bummer he couldn't be bothered to attend to his excited customers that were patiently waiting for him to open, hours after they were supposed to. On the other side of the coin...the bartender at Matchbox was a real one.

I was in Chicago last weekend for Riot Fest and decided to try Tiki Tiki one night, after already having visited Three Dots and a Dash. We went in on Saturday night around 10:30 or so and we able to walk right in and grab a seat. At that time on Saturday night at Three Dots, you may very well be waiting in a line to get in. I had two drinks at Tiki Tiki and they were both really good. One was a mudslide, which isn't a tiki drink at all, but it was excellent. I am giving this place three stars though for two reasons. First, when we walked in, we were told that they were out of coconut cream so they couldn't make a few drinks on their menu. The bartender said they had been busy the last few days so I took that to mean they had been out of coconut for a while. What kind of tiki bar runs out of coconut? That is a tiki standard. Second, I didn't recognize this until the next day because my friend picked up the tab, but they had charged us for one extra drink that we did not order. I don't know if it was on purpose or not, but that is uncalled for. If I was picking up the tab that night, I would have definitely caught it. I see there is another review below mine where they were overcharged as well, so I don't think our experience was a one-off. I go to Chicago regularly, and while I enjoyed my drinks here, I'm not sure if I'll come back here or not.

We went there for a group of 6. The drinks were good on the sweeter side. But they screw up on the total bill by overcharging us for the drinks we never got.

A perfect tiki bar. We wandered in here after a downpour drenched us while visit g Chicago and were so glad we did. Very intimate with romantic lighting. Music is what you hope for in a tiki lounge without being too loud. Easy to have a conversation or, after the drinks have set in, zone out. The drinks were perfect (strong, flavorful, very quick!). We tried the toasted coconut for two and the Jet Pilot - strongly recommend both. We were addressed immediately when we entered the bar and service was fast! Bathrooms are super clean. Parking is pretty easy to find along the street and overall feels safe.

Delicious cocktails (no food fyi), fantastic replacement for lost lake (sad day), right up there with 3 dots, latitude 29, trader Vic's, & smugglers cove in cocktail quality, as a rum lover myself, highly recommend. Bartenders are super friendly and very knowledgeable! (Cocktails shown are jet pilot, mai tai, meditation libations, missionary's downfall)

A lovely tiki bar with fabulous drink options, tropical interior, and a welcoming and low key ambience. The Mai Tai and Vice & Toasty were very delicious.
