Tillamook Market at PDX (Concourse E) Tillamook Market at Portland International Airport’s Concourse E is a solid stop for travelers looking for a quality bite before their flight. The space is welcoming and well-designed, offering a good variety of food and drinks, along with Tillamook-branded merchandise. One of the standout features is their selection of hand-scooped ice cream, perfect for a quick treat. Their motto, “Do right by every bite,” is prominently displayed on the wall and bags, and in my experience, they live up to it. The staff was friendly, and the place wasn’t overly busy—only one person was ahead of me in line. The service was efficient; my food didn’t take too long, but it wasn’t rushed either. I ordered the Morning Melt from their breakfast “Rise N Shine” menu (available until 10:30 AM). It came with bacon, a cage-free egg, and both sharp and medium Cheddar (naturally, Tillamook) on a bagel. The sandwich arrived hot and was absolutely delicious—exactly what I needed before a flight. The $11 price felt a bit high, but considering it’s an airport, it was expected. Overall, Tillamook Market is a great option for a tasty, satisfying meal at PDX. If you appreciate quality dairy and a well-made breakfast sandwich, it’s worth the stop.

Google
Delicious yogurt, ice cream (taste light and creamy), cheese curds (depending on the type of cheese you choose some may be a little salty), the dipping sauce you get to choose for the cheese curls are delicious. Staff are very friendly. Little market is not big but kept very clean. While we were at the shop, those delicious chocolate bars caught my eyes so I had to get some along with the cute little yellow wagon. The staff told us their new factory in Illinois is working on producing more flavors in ice cream Also looking to expand market towards the East Coast . Great place to stop by to grab some Portland made souvenirs, and some delicious treats.

Google
Great place to grab a quick made to order food. Excellent service, good food, free coffee and cream refill! Water bottles are reusable aluminum containers, love it!

Google
It’s a great stopover for food if you need food at the airport. They have sandwiches, burgers, Mac and cheese, drinks, & their famous ice cream! I had to have their ice cream which is creamy and not too sugary. Food: 5/5 - a good selection of healthy foods to bring on your flight. They also offer a good choice of cheeses. If you love cheese, you must get their cheddar cheese as they won the 2024 best cheddar in the world(out of 47 countries). Congrats! Service: 5/5 great service and friendly Atmosphere: 5/5 - cute shop with food and drinks. There’s a seating area just outside. They’re located next to gate E7.

Ordered the double cheese burger with smoked cheese - it was fantastic and filling. Amicable staff and relatively quick service as there were a few people waiting. Clean establishment and seating available. Price was fantastic.

Google
Love stopping by for a little cheese bite for only 50¢ and cute souvenirs for friends. But this time I decided to get a burger and Mike suggested a spicy substitute for the Smoked Cheddar Bacon Burger and it was AMAZING. Super friendly staff and delicious food.

Google
It was good to see a familiar name in typically uncertain airport restaurant scenes. Decided to try its chicken sandwich, hoping that it perhaps would be comparable to those served at its home base restaurant in the City of Tillamook. It was good and reasonably priced (lower than other restaurants' prices). The side order of fries was hot, crispy, and good as well. I didn't get their ice cream, but should be good also.

Google
I got the burger with smoked sharp cheddar. It came out in less than 5 minutes even though it was less than 20 minutes until they closed. Service was great and the prices are amazing, cheaper than eating out at most cheap fast food theses days

Yelp
Affogato was worth the $7 - Solid cold brew and delicious vanilla ice cream. Just what I needed before my flight. Service was quick and employees were friendly. Definitely going back to try the fried cheese curds the next time I'm at PDX - Concourse E!

Yelp
Ordered a (12 dollar!) sausage egg and cheese and they left the sausage off. Only realized after I was on the plane. It's only three ingredients people...will not eat here again.

Yelp
Best airport food I've had. Cheeseburger: 5/5. Excellent brioche bun, melted signature Tillamook cheese, fresh vegetables, nice presentation and wrapping. French fries: 5/5, seemed handcut or at least not store bought, fried well, juicy and hot on the inside, came with generous amounts of ketchup packets. Drip coffee: 5/5. Affordable and tasty, not burnt Starbucks. Partner got a biscuit breakfast sandwich which was also super tasty but quite heavy. He would've preferred a burger with vegetables. :) Service was so fun and friendly, 6/5. Food came out in a few minutes. Plenty of nice seating around the corner by the large glass walls, and not far from bathrooms.

Yelp
Tillamook Market holds the title for my favorite airport food. The quality holds up to those served at the creamery and the staff are super sweet. They have quick service sandwiches including a great biscuit breakfast sandwich! Breakfast is served until 10:30A and lunch/dinner items after that. They also have coolers containing some grab and go options and lots of Tillamook products (cheese curds, cream cheese, small cheese blocks). I always opt for a grilled cheese and tomato soup when I have a flight around lunch/dinner time.

Yelp
Tillamook Market is one of the best restaurants I've eaten at in an airport! My husband and I had a quick trip to Portland, Oregon. On our way back to Vegas, flying Southwest, we had an hour long delay in PDX. Looking at food options in Terminal E, Tillamook Market was one of the highest rated options. Their menu consisted of ice cream, Burgers, grilled cheese, Breakfast Sandwiches, Cheddar Bacon Tomato Melt, and so much more! All of the options looked amazing, and the food smelled so good! I ended up choosing a cheeseburger with just the burger patty, aged cheddar cheese, and pickles, no sauce! The burger was scrumptious! The cheese was perfectly melted. The burger patty was juicy! The bun was soft! It was a really good burger! The team members were helpful! The order didn't take too long either, less than 10 minutes for the burger! If I was flying out of PDX again, and I had extra time to wait for my flight, I would eat at Tillamook Market! The burger was slightly expensive, approximately $15.00, but it was totally worth it!

Yelp
I love Tillamook. I passed this on the way out of the airport so I could save room for sushi, but on the way out of PDX, I picked up a bacon egg and cheese bagel. It was delicious. I wish it were warmer, but the cheese was gooey enough as is. The avocado toast was less successful. The cheese was laid on top of the avocado and was cold. I understand not wanting warm avocado, but cold cheese just doesn't seem to fit to me. Service was fine as was the seating. There was plenty of seating around the corner. I would get the bacon egg and cheese again.

Yelp
Food - of course cheese & dairy focused products. Macaroni & cheese, grilled cheese, cheese burgers, to name a few . As well as their delicious ice cream. I selected the bacon tomato and cheese melt with a side of shredded lettuce and some pickles. It was very cheesy, of course, so I was only able to eat half Really great item and reasonably priced for airportfood. I wish I had had room for ice cream, but unfortunately, it didn't work out . Service was friendly and efficient. They also sell items to take home that includes both souvenirs and edible. It's definitely an Oregon favorite

Yelp
I'm a fan of Tillamook products, so when I learned Tillamook has its roots in Oregon, I knew stopping at here was a must! Located near the Southwest gates, we purposefully planned to arrive at the airport early to grab lunch at Tillamook Market. There wasn't a line when we arrived, but it can quickly queue up when a new plane arrives with hungry travelers. They have a small refrigerator section to buy some chunks of cheese or other portable Tillamook products such as yogurt. There's also a menu to order hot food - we ordered their Cheddar, Bacon, and Tomato Melt ($10) and added a side of Mac and Cheese ($4 combo add-on; can also choose cheese curds or fries). They also have a cheeseburger ($11), grilled cheese, chicken sandwich, cheese curds with a dipping sauce ($7), and ice cream treats, with ice cream sandwiches starting as low as $3. Their mac and cheese is one of the best I've ever had, and it starts with their delicious Tillamook cheese. The mac and cheese was cheesy, creamy, and well-seasoned. It's supposed to be topped with breadcrumbs, but ours was missing for some reason (from other Yelp pictures, it seems that the inclusion of breadcrumbs is hit or miss). Breadcrumb omission aside, the mac and cheese was tasty and satisfying. The only way to make it better would be to give it a nice crusty broiled cheese layer on top. I'll be thinking about this mac and cheese for a while... it was THAT good. Compared to the mac and cheese, the Cheddar, Bacon, and Tomato Melt was just okay - the sandwich was cheesy and the bacon was crispy, but the tomato and sandwich as a whole could've been seasoned better. Service at the counter was friendly. They'll call your name when your order is ready. Out of all the food stops that we made on our "Oregon Trail," our stop at Tillamook Market was a big highlight.

Yelp
Tillamook at the Oregon airport offers a charming dining experience with its cozy atmosphere and delicious food. Despite its size, the place exudes warmth, making it a delightful spot for a meal. The menu boasts a variety of flavors that cater to different preferences, ensuring a satisfying dining experience for all.

Yelp
Found myself in the Southwest terminal at Portland International with hours to kill. That this was hourS is more a dissertation on the condition of the city and the quality of the conference I attended... but those are stories for another venue. Suffice to say, my afternoon flight and my morning terminal arrival by Uber to a building ice storm meant I had enough time for at least a breakfast and a lunch. I'm not sure which one of those meals I'd call my trip to Tillamook, but only because there have been other times when be enjoyed a cheeseburger and fries for breakfast. This little storefront down terminal C features a short queue, cheerful staff, and the usual retail opportunities to buy your favorite turophile (that's a "cheese lover," Mildred) a last minute souvenir hat, scarf, or hunk of extra sharp cheddar. I visited twice during my extended wait for my flight: once for a Swiss burger and fries, and a second time for peanut butter n chocolate ice cream. Both trips were totally worth it. Sure, airport price markups and such... but as options in the terminal go, this is on the cheaper end, and arguably more satisfying.

Yelp
Super fun if you like cheese and ice cream. My 12 year old LOVES tillamook cheddar and so we had to stop by on our drive out to the coast. It's a typical creamery with some cool I for, cheese samples and merch. They have all sorts of their stuff for sale. I picked up a coastal cheddar and am excited to try it. We actually went here twice on the same trip and I'll say the employees in the food area are a little interesting. Maybe a lot of high school kids at their after school job. Some weren't super helpful and didn't know how to move a line quickly. But overall, it was a good experience and recommend a visit if you're driving out to the Oregon coast!

Yelp
Did you really go to Oregon without having some Tillamook?! This location is inside the airport and has a full menu of burgers, sandwiches, and Mac and cheese. Naturally I tried the large Mac and cheese (14$) which was two small containers instead of one container. It tasted like homemade Mac and cheese you'd get on a special holiday-it was delicious! The food came out quick which was appreciated! I also tried the Marion berry pie ice cream which was yummy! One scoop was 5$. They have some cute items in their gift shop area if you're a cheese enthusiast you can pickup hats/ shirts/ magnets/ cups or of course cheese to go.

Janet B.

Yelp
Delicious breakfast sandwich. Much much better than standard airport food. Friendly employees!

Yelp
Unfortunately when I was here, the kitchen was undergoing maintenance so you couldn't order anything from the kitchen , just ice cream and whatever is sold in the market area. If you have been to a supermarket, you may have seen Tillamook products on the shelf from ice cream to cheese. The ice cream was really tasty. It has a good texture and it was thick and creamy. You get plenty of ice cream for your buck. There's a variety of flavors to choose from. You don't get to sample any so choose wisely and don't be adventurous. My only complaint would be that not every ice cream had a label so you didn't know what it was.
google avatar

Tiffany E.

Yelp
Come for the ice cream! Pass on the meals. Ice cream (4/5) We had a scoop of berry and hazelnut and a mudslide sandwich. All 3 were pretty decent. We will probably make a stop before leaving. The size of the scoops were a good size. Burger (2.5/5) No flavor. Could not taste much meat flavor/salt from this burger at all. Chicken sandwich (2/5) the most rubbery chicken I've had in my life. Curds (3/5) not a curds specialist, but seemed pretty sub par compared to the other times I've had curds. Was probably the best tasting thing out of the meals we ordered. Fries (3/5) nothing special. Medium cut, not too crunchy.

Yelp
I was so sad I couldn't make it to the Tillamook factory, but was happy I could check out their market before flight! I LOVE cheese and constructively speaking, I really wish they went crazy with cheese and dairy on the menu! If it wasn't for the "Tillamook" name, this could pass for a regular menu IMO. I would have love to see cheese stuffed burgers, parmesan crusted chicken, cheese sauces, extra cheesy burgers, specialty quesadillas, salted cheese lattes, milk based sauces, dairy desserts etc. They really could have dove all the way in, so a little disappointed that they didn't own the cheese game and go crazy. Besides all that, my food was great and workers were sweet! Didn't scream Tillamook but was great. I got the employee recommended Zesty Chicken sandwich which is just a chicken ranch sandwich. It was really good and for the 1 slice of cheese that was on it, it was yummy!

Yelp
Ordered a GF cheeseburger. She offered GF French fries...I said yes. I received a normal cheeseburger, which I almost bit into. At the last moment I checked with the gal I ordered with...and she said NO that is not a GF. Offered a very lazy "sorry" and had it re-made. I was late to my flight grabbed the new burger and ran. The burger was horrible. The gluten free bun was dry and crumbly and they forgot the cheese. Nobody knew anything that was happening. If you offer GF do it right (fresh), remember the cheese and take the order seriously. I would please like a refund of 15$.

A L.

Yelp
Excellent $11 burger. Simple and tasty. Employees were friendly. Would highly recommend a stop here before or after your flight!

Mark R.

Yelp
Friendly quick folks! Unfortunately probably the worst bagel I've had. They don't even put the cream cheese on the bagel, that's all up to you. So tip appropriately. Give me the old days of Kenny and Zukes, they didn't disrespect the bagel!
google avatar

Yelp
Hello Yelpers, I ordered the cheeseburger with two patties and bacon. It was yummy ; absolutely delicious, I want to try the chicken sandwich with bacon . We also got the ice cream, local dark cherry and the vanilla; both of which was amazingly delicious and I will get again. So with coming to the airport her at PDX. I will schedule my arrival to the airport earlier. Enjoy Peace and Many Rich Blessings

Yelp
Since childhood years and years ago, my favorite sandwich has been a grilled cheese sandwich. Growing up in Oregon in the '50s and '60s, the cheese MUST be Tillamook. Yes, I know that Tillamook Creamery has changed and Bandon Cheese is now produced by Tillamook---yeh, yeh, yeh. But with a mid-noon delay to board a flight out of PDX I was astonishingly soothed and comforted by a plain cheese sandwich and a bottle of water. Heaven. Nostalgic heaven. Gooey cheese oozing out the sides of perfectly grilled bread could not have been better. Great customer service. Welcoming and happy staff totally a throw back to the good old days. Some guy was complaining that the grilled cheese was $8. It's the cheapest sandwich I've seen at any airport in years, especially a fresh grilled sandwich of any kind! Foolish, foolish man. Hope he ended up at McDonald's. Lol
google avatar

Janet N.

Yelp
Great spot for a small bite for cheese lovers or sweet treat at the airport! From grilled cheese, burgers, cheese curds and mac n cheese they have a straight forward menu along with a variety of drinks, ice cream to even Tillamook souvenirs. Mac & Cheese - good portion cup of their signature cheese sauce, penne pasta and topped with seasoned pretzel/bread crumbs. The sauce was good and the bread crumbs gave the mac more flavor and even had a bit of heat to it. Pasta a bit overcooked in my opinion, but good. Is it the best Mac & Cheese ever? No, but it definitely hit the spot and was comforting. Tillamook Mudslide - as expected from Tillamook, their Mudslide flavor was deliciously creamy, rich and had ribbons of chocolate throughout the scoop along with chocolate chips. For a single scoop, they are quite generous! A little bit of a wait with a line of people, since there is just one cook and one cashier. The service was kind and friendly. Prices were reasonable for the airport and expected.
google avatar

Vu D.

Yelp
Got a grilled cheese. Came out in 5 minutes. Solid grilled cheese. Crisp bread, melted cheese, good flavor. Tables right outside. Yeah I'd pick up another if I was at this terminal again. Cheaper than the other food options.

Brandt B.

Yelp
Best airport food anywhere! I had the Tillamook sausage biscuit melt and it was amazing. I live in the portland area and I've never seen a Tillamook Market. Why are these not all over the place and not just in the airport? I'm glad I'm a frequent flyer so I can come back to this gem soon! Please open more locations!
google avatar

Peter P.

Yelp
A solid airport option to get a quick bite. Cheesy options are good and the ice cream solid. Options to buy cheese and such to take home. its a solid comfort food option when traveling. The staff here a kind and welcoming.
google avatar

Sierra S.

Yelp
We had dinner and ice cream here and probably just should have gotten the ice cream. The food was so mediocre and very expensive. I got a chicken Caesar salad with a side of Mac and cheese and it was okay, nothing great. There's also a lot of kids working here when we went and they were very unprofessional. I asked a question about one of the ice cream flavors and was returned with a snarky comment about everyone asking that question. Well yeah, you work customer service, get used to it. This place is cool to see every once in a while but that's about it.
google avatar

Greg G.

Yelp
When I saw Tillamook, I instantly recognized the cheese brand and I was of course a giddy tourist when I landed in PDX so I was ecstatic when I leaned that there was a location in the airport! Fun fact the prices are the same as they are outside of the airport. Recommended items included the Mac n Cheese, Cheeseburger and Grilled Cheese. I tried the Mac n Cheese which was pretty good. To me it had an aged cheddar flavor with bread crumbs on top. If you need a last minute souvenir you get a refrigerator bag for retail purchases over $30. Glad I got to have this as my first Portland bite!
google avatar

Jeff W J.

Yelp
I hope this isn't cheesy, but I just swiss I could havarti another round of food/ice cream since I had such a gouda experience. Sometimes I reminisce about this place and it leaves me feeling bleu that it's so far away from me. All puns aside, loved this place as a kid and love it even more as a remodel. Don't order too much food, or else you'll brie oozing cheese.
google avatar

Megan F.

Yelp
I would fly into Portland just to stop at Tillamook market. I Love Tillamook. Seriously can we get more Tillamook in Texas.
google avatar

Tricia S.

Yelp
Was flying out of concourse E and there aren't many eating options so I stopped for takeout at Tillamook. You can get a variety of pre packaged foods - yogurt, cheese, and snack packs as well as hot food and ice cream from the counter I tried Morning Melt (bacon, egg, cheese on bagel) and it wasn't worth the $11 charged. The bagel was hard, maybe if they toasted or warmed it first it would have been better. The bacon and cheese were delicious and almost made up for the awful bagel. Quick service with easy to read enter and exit directional arrows. Next time I'll try ice cream!
google avatar

Bryan M.

Yelp
I had missed out on being able to take a tour of the Tillamook Factory while on the coast and was honestly pretty bummed about not getting any ice cream when I saw this little place while walking through the Portland Airport. I was immediately super excited and promptly got in line. The ice cream was just as good as I would have expected and it definitely made the wait for my flight more pleasurable.
google avatar

Pratima M.

Yelp
A cute little airport outpost of the classic Tillamook brand -- they're known for their cheeses and ice cream and I ended up getting the latter. Even for airport food, the prices were super reasonable! I got a scoop of Caramel Butter Pecan and it was SO. GOOD. Never mind that it was like 8:30AM... I would totally do it again. The ice cream was so creamy and flavorful and had little chunks of pecans. A friend got the Marionberry and that was also really tasty too! Next time I'm passing through PDX, I'll totally be stopping here!
google avatar

Tiffany R.

Yelp
BOOOOOMB. delicious i tried the chicken something sandwich. Would I pay $10 at the airport for it again. YEPPP I love Tillamook cheese service was good and fast friendly.
google avatar

Courtney H.

Yelp
6 AM plain cheeseburger (w/extra sharp white cheddar) was much better than it had to be!
google avatar

Moni T.

Yelp
Tillamook Market is my must visit place every time when I fly in or out of PDX. This time, I got a bowl of tomato soup, and it was heavenly! The soup is velvety, creamy, and flavorful, and it comes with delicious Tillamook cheese curd. The soup is comforting to your taste buds and soul, perfect light meal before or after your flight.
google avatar

Paul C.

Yelp
No hot food. Horrible when they have a million pictures up showing burgers and other items.
google avatar

Rick P.

Yelp
Horrible food. Breakfast melt had hardly anything on it...a small FRIED egg, small piece of bacon and cheese..so all you could taste is the bagel. And it was cold. HARD PASS.
google avatar

Bryn S.

Yelp
Just okay. Got the chicken sandwich and the mac and cheese. Did not like the mac and cheese that much but sandwich was good. Very heavy food.

Dorothy F.

Yelp
Hours of operation listed as 5am - 7pm.... Arrived at 5:00am and at 5:25 gave up waiting for them to open! There were employees visible in the back, but no one even acknowledged that there were frustrated customers waiting in line for them to open! I've stopped here before on visits to the Portland area and NEVER had this level of poor service!
google avatar

Kurt P.

Yelp
Stopped in here a few days ago for lunch at about 1PM. The menu is pretty limited, but if you like cheese... I ordered the grilled cheese with tomato and bacon, and my wife ordered the cheeseburger. The guy that took our order was friendly and helpful. It took a while for our food to be prepared. Looks like they have just one short order cook, and if things get backed up it can take a while. When our food was ready it was piping hot when we opened it up - nice to not have your meal sitting under a warming lamp. My sandwich was grilled perfectly and of course the cheese was great! Not much sign of the tomato though, but maybe I just didn't look hard enough. My wife was really pleased with her burger - preferred it to the Burgerville that's on the adjacent concourse. Very viable lunch stop as long as you are not in a big hurry.
google avatar

Bryson L.

Yelp
Cool to see this place, I love their cheese. I ended up just getting a bagel with cream cheese, it was decent. The bagel was barely toasted which was a disappointment, but the spread was good, I had the onion and chives. I'd definitely drop by again to try their curds or ice cream, it looked really good.
google avatar

Deena V.

Yelp
Good burger, good fries. Ya it's expensive, it's at the airport, but I was hungry and this was good. Much better than the pe-made sandwiches the airport sells.
google avatar

Shelley T.

Yelp
The grilled cheese sandwich and fried cheese curds totally hit the spot right before our flight. Even though we got other (cold) food for the plane, we wanted to get some hot food and try the cheese since we didn't make it to the Tillamook on the coast. The "secret" sauce was sort of like a thousand island and went well with the curds. The crunchy and gooey textures were great complements and just what we were craving. In my excitement I didn't see that the grilled cheese could've been turned into a combo with a side soup or fried curds, but we ate our full order of curds anyway :)

Chris M.

Yelp
One of the best burgers I've had and hands down THE best airport burger I've had! The cashier was SO nice and the entire establishment was spotless. Way to go Tillamook!

Tom O.

Yelp
We were visiting Portland a few months back, and I had been looking forward to eating here for my entire trip only to find they close at 2:30pm for food service. That's silly, as there really aren't a lot of choices at PDX after security. I was able to get a scoop of ice cream and some cheese, but I so much wanted a grilled cheese sandwich before my return flight home.

Jo S.

Yelp
This was a fun find at PDX as I was heading to board my plane. Got a yogurt parfait with Marionberry yogurt. Yogurt was delicious and creamy, granola is locally made and quite tasty. Personal preference I would have liked a higher ratio of yogurt but nonetheless it was quite good and I would recommend it. Thanks.
google avatar

David P.

Yelp
Ordered 'The Tillie' while waiting for a flight in concourse D and was hungry. It's a grilled cheese on sourdough. The sandwich was delicious and each bite had tasty melted sharp and medium white cheddar. The sourdough bread was grilled well and had a crispy texture without being over burnt. It was $8 for the sandwich, which I wish the portion was larger since it wasn't enough to quell the hunger. A good quick bite if you're looking for a snack. I like that they sell other Tillamook products at The Market, which is a great last minute gift before flying off.
google avatar

Stella Y.

Yelp
I was actually looking forward going to the airport so I could grab a mac and cheese but I was extremely disappointed. Got the medium size mac and cheese and I think they forgot the bread crumbs because there were none in it. That also made the meal even worse because the pasta was horribly soggy and overcooked like it's been sitting there for a while. I do give them props for putting a good amount of cheese but the whole dish was just a mushy mess.
google avatar

Ada Y.

Yelp
The ice cream and staff here are the best! My most favorites are the strawberry and marionberry pie. Hope to try other flavors, next time I'm in Portland

Yaya Y.

Yelp
Omg when I tell you I thought I had already settled and declared my best burger joint in America...I stumbled amongst this jem! My friend and I ordered the burger and infamous mac& cheese and when I tell you...nothing but complete silence and ooh/ummh/awh/omg/umh,umh,umh! They know what their doing! We didn't leave dissatisfied. Everything was so good. I honestly can't wait to visit again. This will definitely be my 1st stop on the list. Definitely worth trying...If not you're missing out!!
