Tilly's Chicken - Review - Park City - The Infatuation

"If you’ve strung together too many back-to-back nights of elaborate dinners, Tilly’s is a welcome reset. The mostly-takeout spot is focused on roasted chicken, cooked over a Josper charcoal grill until the skin is perfectly crisp. Feed the whole crew with a family meal that includes sides like roasted carrots with hot honey or fresh seasonal salads. If you’re craving something salty, the fries dusted with Australian-style chicken salt are non-negotiable. Comforting, unfussy, and exactly what you need for a night in." - Jené Shaw

Absolutely love Tilly’s Charcoal Chicken-this is our all-time favorite spot for fresh rotisserie chicken in Park City. The chicken is always juicy with perfectly crispy skin, and you can really taste the difference that comes from true Australian-style charcoal cooking. The sides and salads are super fresh, and the toum garlic sauce is next level. Great for a quick lunch or an easy family dinner. Highly recommend if you want quality, flavor, and an authentic Aussie chicken shop experience!

If you’re an Aussie craving some great chicken salt chips and a delicious chicken roll this is the place to go. Don’t forget to get a side of the chicken gravy for the chips it’s sooo good !! Made this Aussie girl a little less homesick. Bonus the portions are big.

Whatever you do, don't order the chicken sandwich. I was so excited for a juicy chicken sando and unfortunately the sandwich is NOT as advertised. It was a sad, hard to chew through fried bread with 3% chicken. I have had the gyro from here before and loved it so I may have just had a bad experience but I was severely disappointed in my sandwich. I will not be spending $16 on a subpar sandwich like this ever again. 💔

I ordered a chicken roll but it was a big disappointment I feel like I threw 17 dollars in the trash. I ordered it to go and first of all it didn't look like the presentation they have, secondly I only had chicken for a lot of cold and lettuce that looked like they didn't even wash it until a big piece of the last of the lettuce came out I don't even know how to chop the avocado looked black anymore I won't eat there again.

I really wanted to like Tillys. The chicken looked incredible and smelled even better when it came out — crispy skin, great color, everything you’d expect from charcoal-grilled meat. But unfortunately, the flavor just wasn’t there. The skin had seasoning, but the meat underneath was bland and underwhelming. To make it more confusing, the leg, thigh, and wing were dry, while the breast was actually juicy — the opposite of what you’d usually expect. I was also surprised to learn that the half chicken comes with no sides — fries were an extra $8, which felt excessive. For a place named charcoal chicken, I expected a bold, smoky charcoal flavor, but didn’t get that either. Maybe it was just an off day, based on what others have said — but my experience didn’t match the hype.

The charcoal rotisserie chicken is perfection—juicy, tender, and seasoned to highlight every delicious bite. The sides are just as impressive: so much variety, and every one is packed with vibrant flavors. You can tell everything is made with care and attention to detail. The combination of incredible food and a welcoming atmosphere is going to make this spot a standout Park City staple. Already planning our next visit!

Fantastic! I had a delicious lunch at Tilly's Charcoal Chicken today, my first stop after landing in Salt Lake City earlier today. I had heard great things and they were all 100% true. I had the hot pita sandwich (essentially a Mediterranean chicken pita wrap with pulled chicken). It was absolutely wonderful - extremely flavorful with a really generous portion of chicken and lots of fresh accompanying ingredients that work really well together. Everything is made to order. The perfect balance of pita (which was hot and extremely fresh) to chicken to sauce to other ingredients. I also enjoyed a fantastic tahini (sesame) chocolate chip cookie. It had clearly been baked fresh today and was one of the better cookies I've had in a long time (and I have very high standards when it comes to cookies). The price point was extremely reasonable for the portion and the quality (and no tipping!) and the staff was also friendly and really helpful when it came to questions about the menu. You do NOT want to miss this place!

The food was amazing. Got the parm chicken and my wife the ceasar wrap and our daughter 1/4 chicken with fries. All of it was delicious.
