Do You Love Your Mom as Much as These Brands Love Her? | Eater

"A Mother’s Day promotion offered a “mom-sized” iced coffee — a 52-ounce beverage served at six participating U.S. locations — framed as an inclusive perk for ‘moms’ of all genders (even “dog moms”). The stunt trades on the trope that mothers are overworked and need an extreme caffeine fix (the copy references roughly 572 mg of caffeine in the drink, well above common safety guidance), positioning the brand as fueling relentless maternal productivity rather than addressing structural supports like paid leave or work–life balance." - Jenny G. We were in the area on a road trip and the kids wanted some fresh donuts. Saw this place and whipped in. Placed our order and was back on the road. Everything was clean. Lots of selection to choose from. Great service and super fast. Highly recommend this location!! Great Job!!

Google
This is a beautiful and clean Tim Hortons. As I walked in I was greeted in a very kind Canadian fashion and I knew that I was welcome. I ordered one of their world famous honey donuts as well as a strawberry kiwi refresher. The price was really decent as well. My wife ordered the Berry Apple Crisp refresher and let me tell you, the taste I took absolutely transported me to a Canadian logging town in the fall. That one sip made me feel like the leaves were falling 🍁 and the flannel I imagined adorning was totally keeping me warm as the fall breeze cycled through. Very yummy indeed. I definitely recommend this stop next time you are in Circleville.

The food tastes okay and it’s what I’d expect, it’s the service that was terrible. At 11:30am I went with my girlfriend to get her a beagle and me a drink and donut. The lady at the window seemed a little rude but I didn’t take it to heart because everyone has bad days, but then I got to the window and while I was waiting I could’ve sworn I heard her on the headset talking about how a customer was taking forever to order, however I always didn’t think much of that either. What really got me upset was how the donuts looked like they were almost thrown in the bag and they weren’t wrapped in anything at all, they were just in the bag. I don’t know if it’s required at Tim Hortons or not but I’m pretty sure you’re supposed to put the donuts in some kind of wrap because if been here multiple times and they’ve wrapped my donuts the other times. This isn’t a huge deal, but if the owner really wants more people to come back then be careful who you hire!

Went in the drive thru at 6:50 to get a coffee and donut. The lady was very rude. I didnt know they closed window at 7. Or i would have come inside if the hours are even right. She had a smart mouth with me. I asked for a Caramel Capp, with an attitude she said the frozen machine was down. And I understood that things happen so i ordered a caramel iced coffee and at the widow she hands me a large iced coffee with nothing and hands it to me and slams the door so learn how to treat customers thanks<3

I ordered an iced coffee and an apple fritter and it was just mediocre. I wasn't impressed, and the pastry/donut selection wasn't great either. The place was clean and the employee that assisted me was pleasant, and a lot of times that makes the difference.

Google
I'm going with ZERO OUT OF ZERO here, but that rating is impossible, as indeed is getting a cup of coffee from the drive through at 7:30 PM. I TRIED to go through the drive through at 7:30 PM only to get a cutesy recording about the store being closed. So how do you score the coffee and food, when you can't get any?🤣 Why does of all things A COFFEE SHOP close so early? Answer: Because they can! And? It's NONSENSICAL. What next, Banker's Hours? A COFFEE SHOP by it's VERY PURPOSE needs to be OPEN 24 HOURS, no ifs ands, or buts. TO be fair here, It's not the LOCAL store that takes the blame here, they are ALL pulling this nonsense. HEY NATIONAL MANAGEMENT are you going to WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE and START LISTENING TO THE CUSTOMER? Because it's pretty simple: YOU NEED TO BE OPEN TO SELL THINGS. Sad to see this, I've gone to Timmy's pretty much all of my life 🇨🇦

Google
Passed through town on a road trip. Apparently Sunday morning crew is really struggling. Sat in a drive thru for 30 minutes, 2 cars and still couldn't get any order right. Ended up giving us double amount of food, which was nice. Asked for a black iced coffee, got a black HOT coffee with no ice on a 90 degree summer day! 🙄

Google
I just got a vanilla cold brew here and it was more like cream with a splash of coffee. Disgusting and honestly undrinkable. I used to work here in high school and it was not like this. Also, I went in, no customers, and I had to wait a solid 5 minutes for the worker to come out from the back. I went back in to ask to get it fixed and I gave up and am going to McDonald's to get coffee.

Yelp
Same rating, after an inside visit. Suuuuuuuper slow. One person ahead of us when we got there, they did have a big order. But then the four people behind the counter just could not keep up. Why? Partly because they were slow walking, and taking their time. Poor training? Poor attitude? Dunno. But a quick stop for coffee and Timbits turned into forever. Went out to a huge line at the drive-through, only able to back out because someone noticed and left a space in the line.

Yelp
Beautiful seating area as it was recently remodeled. Employees were very friendly but I was surprised to find that there were not any high chairs. They forgot about them when remodeling. Spoke to manager so homely that is fixed soon. Also, there is no changing table in the bathroom. So if you have a baby or toddler, maybe skip this location. Food was good!

Yelp
Nasty drive thru workers who stare at you without saying anything, make things wrong, don't give all your food, have a singular hash brown at 11am??

Amber S.

Yelp
wow worse service ever and the lobby floor was disgusting. the older lady working this morning couldnt see her name tag I think she is a mgr she had a really bad attitude with the other employees and she was treating the younger blonde that was working the register really bad she was being so mean to her

Stephanie S.

Yelp
I've stopped at this location a few times on my way to work, normally when one of the other coffee shops are closed. I've never had a good experience but wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. Today was the straw that broke it. I showed up at 5:08 (they open at 5) they greeted me with an "order" and were extremely rude. The coffee was so bad I through it away after one sip and the sandwich was cold and dry, no way it was fresh. Total waste of $10. I will never go back.

Yelp
Went through the Tim Horton's drive-thru this morning and wasted my money on an "iced pumpkin spice latte" that was WARM and had 2 pieces of ice in it and no pumpkin flavoring, melted 10-pack of Timbits which were all falling apart, and a sausage breakfast wrap snacker that looks like someone squeezed it and picked apart the tortilla and threw pieces of it on top. Not to mention, I found crunchy stuff inside my COLD breakfast wrap snacker. This is disgusting and a total waste of my money. Management needs to be aware of these issues. I won't spend another penny here at this location! Very disappointed.

Yelp
*update: I took a star away because their drive through has gotten so incredibly bad. They can't handle more than one car and they mess up my order because they can't hear anything through their terrible sound systems. It's soooo bad. I actually left the drive thru and went over to Arby's. The sad part is I'll still go again because of the lack of options in the area. 1st I'd like to say that I do like Tim Horton's as a chain. However, the Circleville location can't seem to get it together. Every time I order a coffee the cream and sugar measurement is different even though I order the same every time. Often they put too much cream. If you want a donut forget it. They will be out of all the good flavors. I mean ALWAYS. Every time I ask for a donut they tell me they are out. This is over a period of years. So why can't they figure out how to keep enough

Yelp
My nephew told me about Tim Horton's. I'd never heard of it. I stopped at this location on my way out of Columbus and ordered a bagel sandwich, coffee, and 2 donuts. My Google Maps app kept bellowing at me to turn left, turn left, turn friggin left. I couldn't figure out how to get it to pipe down. I finally shrugged and the girl at the window shrugged with me. "Guess you better turn left," she said in a rare instance of window-girl humor. The coffee at 6:30 in the morning was exquisite. The donuts were fresh and almost still warm. The bagel sandwich was a slippery mess, but good. I got seriously, unforgivingly drunk at the Pumpkin Festival about 35 years ago. That's apropos of nothing, I suppose, but now I have two solid memories of Circleville.

Yelp
Bad service. Rude employees. Bathrooms backed up and out of order. Had to stand for minutes waiting for someone come take my order. Seemed like the place was dying.

Yelp
So if I could give zero stars I would. My husband and I stopped here traveling home from Columbus. We stopped for a take 20 of unsweet tea, since our beloved Tim Horton' s in Teay Valley, WV closed, and I adore Tim Norton's tea. First when we ordered the guy yelled into his head set "come take this order!" To which a girl replied. No! I'm busy sweeping!" The man just walked away and left us standing there. Finally the girl with the broom shows up and takes our order. We decided on a sandwich also. I ordered Tuscan chicken panini meal, and my husband the ham and cheese meal. We stood and waited literally 20 minutes. I heard the broom girl yell "is there any ham back there? I need some more!" A few minutes later a red haired chick tells us they don't have any bread for the ham and cheese and would we be okay with panini bread? Sure no problem. Then they said they were out of the frozen lemon aid my husband ordered what they gave him in its place was nothing less than orange juice on ice. Our sandwiches were horrible. His sandwich had a thin slice of ham and one sluce of cheese and a piece of lettuce. My sandwich had 3 or 4 small chunks of chicken. And melted cheese that was no longer melted and some very spicy onion. One bag of chip crumbs. I had to go back for a second bag. We have had both those sandwiches at other Tim Horton's and they're awesome. It was such a waste of 15$. Then I go to get my take 12 and same red headed chick is yelling to another worker "Just listen! listen god dammit!" I'll NEVER stop at this place again. My worst experience in a resteraunt EVER!

Yelp
This location is filthy. Stopped in on a Saturday evening for Cold Stone ice cream as it is a dual shop. 2 younger workers behind counter. Girl flat out refused to help serve ice cream. Boy was doing all the work to help our family of 5. Another family of 5 walked out because it was taking so long, or the fact that they heard the girl state with arms crossed that she was not helping. Boy told girl to cash us out since she was just standing there. Again she refused. My husband was agitated at this point and said, here's my card please ring us out. Out of 5 small cups of ice cream, 2 made incorrectly. They all looked like attached, a sloppy cup of soup more or less. Ice cream is mediocre at best, not at all worth the price. I decided to go back in to ask for managers name, and it turns out he had been standing there the whole time! I expressed my concerns. He said, I'm sorry ma'am, we're doing our best, there is only three of us here. I looked around and said...there is NOONE ELSE IN HERE. From the looks of reviews it has been dirty for a while. Do yourself a favor and find another spot for ice cream, it's not worth it.

Yelp
We came in for iced caps. The girl in the front, Nora, took forever taking our order, she didn't know about the blue jackets promo that's a giant sign on the building. She made the iced caps incorrectly and they were disgusting. We went back in and made a different person make them. It wasn't much better. I'm not coming here anymore.

Yelp
Incorrect order, no ice in Ice Tea, out of croissants, out of sausage patties. 8 workers and it only took about 10 minuets to make four sandwiches.
google avatar

Ariane M.

Yelp
Service and food are okay, but it is very dirty. They need to hire a decent cleaner.

Yelp
Wide variety of sandwiches and pastries! I had the Italian on an Asiago Bagel- pressed in a pannini press to perfection! Pretty high end for Circleville, and even has pumpkin flavors! Two thumbs up for a healthy meal and tasty treat!

Mr. B.

Yelp
Took forever, vary forgetful, we waited about 20 minutes for them to come out the back and take are order, was out of everything. Bad experience.

Yelp
This isn't Canada. Tim Hortons IN Canada Is FANTASTIC! ANY Tim's, ANYWHERE AND EVERYWHERE in Maple Leaf Land. Not so much here. Not JUST this Tim's, to be fair, but alas, ALL of the Tim Hortons IN the USA. The doughnuts don't seem as fresh. And, MOST IMPORTANTLY, ALL TOO OFTEN, they DO NOT have a number of items available on their menu. Look, when I pull into a Tim's in the USA, I am told, all too often: "Well, we are out of Chili." Or Mac and Cheese. And this is NOT ACCEPTABLE...PERIOD! The coffee? Great! Pretty much EVERYTHING else? Forget it! So IF MANAGEMENT reads this, COME ON, For Pete's Sake! Get your act together! Don't tell me you can't sell enough that you can't stock menu items. ALL MENU ITEMS NEED TO BE AVAILABLE ALL OF THE TIME! How On Earth will you EVER reach the Critical Mass of CUSTOMERS that you NEED by carrying on this way? Out of " this" or "that" is quickly becoming a self-fulfilling Prophesy, and why wreck your business this way? MCDONALDS offers a pretty good cup of coffee these days, and you need to set yourself apart from the competition with FRESH doughnuts, AVAILABLE Mac and Cheese (Did you know Mac and Cheese was INVENTED IN CANADA? Yes... True...and they call it a KRAFT DINNER generically... that's what they say when they mean Mac and Cheese!) And for you Americans? Please DO visit Tim's when you are on vacation in Canada, won't you? I promise you will enjoy FRESH doughnuts, AND Mac and Cheese AND Chili with those Oh So Good mushrooms in it that makes it an absolutely delicious treat 24/7, AND Tim's Chili Beats the Pants off of Wendy's Chili... So There You Have it! Tim's is no mere fast food place in Canada, it's a Canadian Institution and a source of NATIONAL PRIDE. I am VERY disappointed that USA Tim's just doesn't make the grade... Sorry!

Yelp
This is a first. Every window at the place had a $1 small coffee advertisement. When I ordered my small coffee it was a $1.50+. When I pointed out the sign in the windows, the dumb box of rocks help said "Oh that's over". Huh???

Sarah C.

Yelp
Not impressed. Just went through drive thru and tried ordering two different sandwiches and was told they didn't have that, even though there are advertisements posted everywhere for them. We get to the window to have giggling unprofessional workers. We received our order and while driving off noticed my sandwich had nothing more than a couple slices of meat, a piece of cheese and some lettuce and we got crumbs of chips for one of our orders. Needless to say, the service needs to be stepped up.

Linda M.

Yelp
We just stopped at hortons @ 8:45am. There was a line when we went in and also when we left. Oh my gosh the service was s-l-o-w! Our order was simple 2 coffees, a milk, and 4 donuts. One guy left due to the service. There was plenty of staff about.

Emily T.

Yelp
We ordered 3 donuts and 2 LARGE ice waters with extra ice. My donut was upside down in the bag so all the icing was stuck to the bag. I was given one SMALL ice water. Asked for the second one and the drive thru woman rolled her eyes and got it. Consistently when I order a large ice water they give me a small. I'm willing to pay for a larger cup. They say that's not necessary. So why can't I just get my water The way I ordered it? Btw. The donuts tasted great.
