Brand new Tim Hortons location in this area, you can tell when going inside this place is probably six months old or less. It’s got a nice inside seating area with some round and square tables, reg chairs and high chairs and some boots to sit down. Inside is not really big but plenty of sitting and. also there’s outside seating space and drive through. Service was excellent. We had a full meal for two adults for 20USD. Pricing seems great. I gave 4 starts to the food only because the egg on the “scramble egg loaded breakfast” wasn’t great tasting. Vanilla latte and chocolate donut were 5 🌟

I tried their breakfast sandwich with Cappachino. Their breakfast sandwich and Cappachino was far better than our leading brands. This Tim Hortons is at Clay Road and Hwy 99. I was served by Ms. Jessica. I was greeted with a very pleasant smile and served with utmost professionalism. Recommend this store a 100%.

On Friday morning, January 16, I visited the Tim Hortons drive-thru to pick up an online order. Upon arrival, I informed the team member that I had a mobile order and was asked for both my name and order number, which caused a delay. My order included a bagel, which I believed came with cream cheese based on the in-app coupon. At the window, I was told cream cheese was not included and was rudely instructed to pay an additional $1. When I asked for clarification regarding the coupon, the team member again responded rudely and repeated that my order did not include cream cheese. While withholding the rest of my prepaid order, I requested a refund and was told I would need to contact customer service. I was handed only the receipt, without my food, and left the location.

First time tried Tim Hortons in Texas and it was pretty decent. Coffee was nice and hot. We ordered egg and cheese biscuit, donuts, burrito and jalapeno cheese pastry. temp in the seating area was super cold. 4 stars for service because we had to wait 5 minutes before someone came and took our order. Reasonably priced and good spot for a quick breakfast.

I always make a stop by here when I'm visiting Katy. I love the donuts and the coffee is great too. It brings back memories of my trips to Canada. 🇨🇦 🍁 Service is always great and I never have to wait very long for my order.

Good coffee, croissants are good, the biscuits are meh and are always cold, hard, crumbly and dried out from toasting them. I do love the fact that they use real eggs and put an ample amount of bacon on the breakfast sandwiches. All in all a good place with great customer service.

Absolutely loved this coffee shop! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The coffee was rich and flavorful, and you can tell they use high-quality beans. If you go, definitely try the cold brew—it’s smooth, refreshing, and not too bitter.The staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better.

As a Canadian, I was craving Tim’s and decided to check it out here. It did not disappoint! The menu is different from back home but in a good way, with fresh and delicious options. The coffee was much better than I remembered, and the service was excellent. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

Coming from NY, we are so excited that Timmy Ho's is now in Houston! Love the look of these new coffee shops. Crisp and clean! Waited a bit before we could order. They were busy with the drive thru. My thought was, we know we like Tim Hortons but with this company being somewhat new to Houston, having people wait so long could be a turn off to some newbies. They could be like- not worth it and go elsewhere. Ordered 4 donuts and 2 coffees. When we picked up our order, we received 2 donuts and the coffees. The girl had to look up our order because it seemed like she didn't believe us. We had to wait even more before we got the order completed. The best part was that we saw a guy come in with Buffalo Bills gear on. He was from NY too!! We talked to him while he waited for his order. Small world. Note: there isn't much indoor seating. There's additional outdoor seating but it was POURING so that wasn't an option. *Download the Tim Horton's app to get some coupons/deals. We used a free donut with beverage purchase which saved us $1.50.*

Disclaimer: I'm Canadian. I grew up on Timmies. My blood is probably at least 10% maple syrup - that's probably how I've been able to escape diabetes for so long! So when I'm reviewing Tim Hortons USA, I cannot help but compare it to the original Tim Hortons I grew up with. Katy's Tim Houston uh sorry I mean Tim HORTONS* is an attempt at importing the renowned Canadian brand to the American south. The attempt is semi-successful. On one hand you've got the donuts and coffee drinks which are similar to what we have in Canada, with a more limited menu. The baked goods are not bad but they're not as fresh as what I've come to expect from the original Timmies. Perhaps it could just be a matter of demand - why bake donuts more than once a day if fewer people walk in to buy them? Makes sense, I guess. The iced cap I ordered tasted somewhat like the original, but there is a little something that's different. I suppose working with different ingredients must change the taste a bit... Looking at the right side of the LED screens however I was surprised to find the characteristic soups, sandwiches and bagels missing. Sure, Katy's Tim Hortons has some savory pastries, breakfast muffins and even a... Biscuit... weird. Okay southerners, I get it, but that's totally by you, for you! They even have Starbucks copycat omelette bites (weeeeird). So they're not completely devoid of options. But without the bagels and soups, IMHO, it's not a real Tim Hortons. It's a revenant of a beloved casual and comforting fast food chain. I'll give it three stars because it tries. But I'm not sure if Tim Hortons will make it in the US long term. The donuts are better than the average American donut, but it's not saying much. Most American donuts are barely edible and dripping with artery-clogging grease (yeah sorry not sorry, someone has to say it). The Canadian counterpart tastes different. I don't know that I'd make another detour to stop here... I might just wait until I'm back home visiting family again to indulge in the real deal. For everyone else, well, here's second hand Tim Hortons, I guess!

First time trying Tim Morton's! I ordered an ice coffee and a sausage bagel. I received a beef bagel instead, but Idc it was good. Since it was birthday I got both things for free which I appreciate.

The coffee offered at this location is slight above average compared to Starbucks coffee or Dunkin Donuts or McCafe. The coffee takes longer to serve compared to other competitors. Everyone working at the shop are new . Many young ladies work at the location. Perhaps this is their first job, I don't know. Last week, during Veteran's day, the national Tim Hortons chain offered free coffee for Veterans. I visited this location for my free coffee, and the manager pretended that they do not offer this promotion. So much for serving our country. I am disappointed at the professionalism of this location. The Tim hortons at katy texas appears as a franchised location. Why does TH offer a franchise to someone who don't server veterans? this is very strange. The location lacks the atmosphere observed at Tim Horton's canadian locations. I do not like the long wait.

Ah coming from a Canadian I was so happily surprised to see a Tims in Katy. This place brought back so many memories. I was slightly disappointed by the small selection they had available but glad they still at least had the classics. I got the ice capp and timbits . Just as good as I remember as a child. The service was good however we had to wait a long time to order and a while before we got our food.

I have ordered from here twice, each time delivered via Grubhub. I really wanted to like the donuts but both times they arrived tasting stale, instead of fresh, even though I ordered VERY early in the day and the first order was placed the night before. They had to be microwaved and eaten immediately to make them soft enough to eat. I'm quite disappointed and will not be ordering from here again.

The Tidbits are good! The rest of the food is total crud... Tried three different items over successive days and hated each throwing away over half the purchase. I ordered a cafe americano on ice... omg it was dirty brown water! Let's avoid this place.

I think it matters what you purchase from here . Cold brew was the most smooth I've ever had. Donuts were on point. I definitely recommend trying a box of assorted donut holes. Bites of goodness. The sandwich is ok. Wouldn't get it again.

It is not the same as it was before. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I remember the good old days in Canada when Tim Hortons was fresh and delicious. Now, the quality is subpar, at least.

If you want good coffee that's in the Katy area, we have a couple of very good options at Morton Ranch/Clay Road and 99. Tim Hortons is a Canadian import, and they like to let you know with a Canadian leaf on the coffee lids. The coffee is very rich and smooth. Yes, they tend to get a good line in the morning, but we parked in front and the wait was not very long going inside. If Dutch Brothers is busy, hop on over to Tim Hortons and vice-versa. I have not tried the pastries, but plan to in the future.

Would give 0 stars if I could Sofia "the manager" is extremely rude and not helpful towards situations. I ordered a vanilla iced coffee and it was extremely sour I asked if I could get another one and she replied that they could not change it out. I told her I was not satisfied with the drink and she just shrugged her shoulders and said she could only charge me for something else if I'm Not satisfied. As a business owner I would never want a manager to react this way with a customer. Tom Hortons lost me as a customer.

Canada has entered the American coffee scene and I'm not mad at it! I heard about Tim Hortons from social media as well as my Canadian friends in Texas. I waited for the hype to die down to make the long trek from my side of town. When we arrived the place was pretty slow. Looks like they do alot of drive through orders and pick ups. The menu has plenty to choose from even for the pickiest person. They got coffee, iced coffee, hot and cold drinks, donuts, pastries and even some savory items. The weather was slightly warm so I went with a Vanilla Cream Cold Brew and it was very delicious. It wasn't overly sweet and the creamy concoction definitely hit the spot. Apple Fritters are my go to pastry of choice over any donut so I got that to go with my drink. Sadly, the fritter was a big let down. I'm assuming they have everything ready at the beginning of the day which lead to a stale and not so tasty fritter. I tried a bite of the plain old fashioned and it was like any other donut I've had. I enjoyed the coffee so much I got a hot Mochanut to go along with an order of the famous assorted Timbits for my niece back home. The coffee was again very good. We both tried a Timbit just for research purposes and thought they were pretty underwhelming as well. My little niece seemed to like the birthday cake ones and frowned at the glazed and chocolate. My overall assessment is the coffee rocks. The pastries are not good. Maybe I caught them on an off day. I would definitely come back if in the area, but not go out of my way otherwise.

We love some Tim's but this location just doesn't cut it for us. It's been a few times customer service is ok not great. But today was worse they didn't take our order down correctly after repeating it several times. When we asked for the other half of our order they didn't charge us for it didn't even take down the full order. Lady got an attitude when I told her the Bits were cold like they just came out the fridge didn't believe me told her to check it for herself instead of checking she just said "you want refund" I just wanted them warmed up but they don't do that. Food was a 5 overall and so was the coffee. The other locations around this area are way better.

Such a great little gem of a coffee shoppe tucked in a quiet corner within the suburbs of Katy, TX. Tim Horton's is originally from Canada.. & is all the rage up in the northern hemisphere... & I can totally see why! It is considered Canada's favorite coffee on the run. This spot specializes in both hot and cold coffee drinks, as well as donuts, pastries and a few savory items. Had heard about Tim Hortons back in the day.. just hadn't ventured out to Canada in awhile. I am glad we have a location here in TX, which is soon to spread out within neighboring cities. Hot coffee was great.. nice and simple. Drip coffee paired with a donut? Keeping it old school. I didn't care for any cold bevvie that day.. but my friends cold brew vanilla drink looked good. Plenty of holiday flavors this time of the year as well. They have a variety of donuts to choose from.. my favorite being the cake donut. Tender and sprinkled a bit with nutmeg. Dunk it into hot coffee.. bliss. The other donuts were on the drier side & didn't taste fresh. That's too bad because this spot specializes in their sweet treats. Also tried their avocado toast which was just okay. I'm glad they have a bit of savory items to balance with all the sweetness. Interior is quite small.. but cozy. Decor is quite heartwarming and very Canadian. Service was okay.. could be better. Their drive thru seemed chaotic and I totally recommend visiting the interior of the cafe. All in all, a great spot to set up shoppe. I'll definitely revisit in the near future. Here's hoping we can get more Hortons on the way.. because "Horton hears a who! & A why not?!" Lol. Totally a Dr Seuss reference.. if you know, you know. Cheers and happy coffee drinking during the coziest month of the year!

The service was fine, but the food and coffee were awful. I decided to give them a try for the first time since I see them popping up everywhere. I ordered a honey dip donut, a beef biscuit sandwich, and a black medium roast coffee. The donut was dry the biscuit sandwich was cold and the coffee tasted watered down. Seeing as how this is my first time I'll give them another chance at a different location, but this was not a good first impression of the Tim Hortons.

It was good to have them in the area as I'm a coffee lover and I have tried almost every coffee place in nyc or must I say it was better over seven11 coffee lol as there aren't any good coffee place around. I love there customer service and they do have a lot of donut options.

With my cousin being from Canada, there was much excitement and hype around the opening of the first location in Texas! We waited for too long in the drive thru, and the coffee was not up to par...go elsewhere for coffee; iced coffees were watered down and little to no flavor. The Timbits though were so good! We got the variety pack with flavors birthday cake, chocolate, and honey dip- these are essentially like donut holes, but pretty tasty and cakey! I would come back here for the Timbits and to try the donuts.

Minus half a star Prices are reasonable at 4.30 for a large cold brew. However the price isn't good when then mess up the order. I ordered a large cold brew with a splash of cream. And I got a large cream with a splash of cold brew. Needless to say one sip and threw it out. The other bakery options look pretty blah. General impression was how they looked freshly thawed. Overall not worth the trek off the beaten path for a cup of cream.

Don't be fooled by the long lines. It's because they're taking forever to prepare the orders. Compare to other donut places I've been to, this has to be the slowest. So plan for some extra wait time at this location. Bring a book, maybe your laptop to do some work, even get Netflix ready. You're gonna need it while waiting in this drive through line. I left without even getting the order. Waiting 30 mins for half a dozen donuts is just unacceptable. There's other donut places down the street.

Never visited this chain before in any of my travels, but thought I would stop before their grand opening and while it wasn't too crowded. I'm not a big donut fan, but I got my typical test pastry - an apple fritter. There was a nice flavor to the apple fritter, but only 2 small pieces of apple. We bought a 10 piece of their Timbits. They are very cakey and thick, like their major competitor. I prefer the lighter versions myself. And last we both purchased a vanilla cream cold brew and I have to say it was actually better than Starbucks since it still retains the coffee flavor. I can see myself grabbing a cold brew coffee here, but not much else. Also, there are some younger people here learning to work the register - bring your patience as we all had to start somewhere.

Tim Hortaon has best drink that I like ( French vanilla) that is freshly served. Tim Hortons is always clean and attractive. Great customer care.

YES KATY, TEXAS!!! This new coffee shop in Katy is fantastic! I've been waiting patiently for this day and the time has finally come! Coffee is great and their breakfast sandwiches are tasty! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I even ran across the manager while placing my order and he was so nice! They are pretty busy, but still manage to get everyone out pretty quickly. You have a forever customer in me, Tim!

I went into Tim Hortons because it had pretty good reviews for its coffee. It wasn't trying to get pastry so I felt I could get a coffee and be okay. I went in stared at the menu board for several minutes had quite a few questions took my time to look at the pastry case looked at the people that were working in the back to make sure it just wasn't one sole person running the whole show and it wasn't, so I waited one more minute before I started ahemming and making the noise that you make when you want attention. That didn't help. Smelled absolutely wonderful in there and I really wanted a coffee but bad service is bad service so I do not recommend.

The. holiday tree donut tasted pretty good after it was in the refrigerator for a day. The dough was still soft and the creme-filling and icing didn't harden too much. The cake donut and holes are cute but a little dry to me.

I had very high hopes. There is a lot of hype around this place so be prepared to wait. We did inside and we stood in line to order for about 30 minutes and waited for our order for 30 minutes. Seating inside is slim. I'll start with the pros, service is AMAZING. The understand it's busy and they're really trying to go above and beyond for their customers. We got timbits and 2 iced lattes. The iced lattes were so bitter. The timbits were reallly good. I'll probably wait till the hype dies down to come back.

I'm trying to not compare this to the Canadian OG. I would pick this coffee over Starbucks everyday! But the food and donuts, not so much. I know they are new. So I'll give them a second and third chance.

New to this coffee shop. Stop in for coffee, breakfast sandwich and pastry. All was great, clean, fast and just under $7.00 buck. Looking forward to another visit. Thanks for being there.... Juan H.

I drove 30 minutes to get here and was kind of let down. The halal sausage had run out, and despite it being advertised that there would've been more coming in prior to our visit, there was still no halal sausage when we got there. I got the iced mocha, TimBits, everything bagel with cream cheese, and a hash brown. The bagel and hash brown were good and the drink was okay. For the TomBits, I asked specifically for 10 chocolate flavored ones and they gave me assorted. That was disappointing because I didn't even get what I ordered. Overall, if they opened a Tim Hortons near me I would go again, but I would not drive out to this location.

Tim Hortons has the worst customer service ever! Any other of the MANY coffee shops (scooters, blackrock, dutchbro, ect.) in the area provide way more customer service than this terrible Tim's. Definitely do NOT recommend this location as they are unfriendly and do not care.

Was really hoping for a caffeine fix, ordered at the drive thru, Tim Horton worker said something about their light or computer not working and that I had to come inside to order. Inconvenient as I had my kids in their car seat sleeping. So we drove off.

Wanted to try coffee and gave it a try. Being Canadian, I was amazed to see this chain. Something is different than what u get in North. Service was fast but lacked that cheerful part that you get at other locations. Location feels like a little secluded and ambiance to be in the right ballpark. Will return obviously

Ah. Tim Hortons, Canada's pride and joy decided to land in the Space City, eh? Okay, so lets get the moose rolling, and the maple leaves flying, what is this Canadian chain all about? I'm a bit of a coffee addict, and love visiting new shops big and small. Long story short, I wasn't impressed with this Tim Hortons. Granted, it could just be a case of the old, "its way better in Canada". I've experienced the same when comparing In-N-Out in Cali and Texas. The shop was rather small, with a little bit of seating. Service wasn't anything special either, some typical high school teens working a gig that they aren't interested in. Trust me kiddos, I've been there. We ordered and Iced Capp and a Hot Regular Blend. Both fine, prices were okay, and that's pretty much it. Nothing special. Would I return? Maybe. Only if I was in the area. Perhaps it can get better with time eh. Guess this is just another win for the Red, White, and Blue!

Got a stale hash brown, wrong sandwich order and dry donut with a wrong coffee order with slow service but the workers are friendly

The ambiance is very inviting and lively. The service rocks they are kind and quick. The coffee is great!

I ordered the sausage egg and cheese sandwich and was very disappointed when I got home and saw the sausage patty was not only small but also just didn't look like a sausage patty. I took two bites but it didn't taste like sausage so I didn't even end up eating it. I have had Tim hortons before in Canada and loved it so I was very disappointed with this experience.

My daughters been waiting for Thai place to open on Westheimer but we found this location open after leaving her moms house. I didn't know what to expect so I didn't know what to order. We got couple frappe and it wasn't to sweet and donut holes. I'd come back when the Westheimer location is finish being built.

Sigh. Ok let's dive in. My first visit here during soft opening, I got the Vanilla Cold Brew with Cold Foam, and it was amazing. Probably the best cold foam cold brew drink I've ever had. Way better than Starbucks. I was ready to stop going to bux and make this my goto coffee place. The food I ordered was decent, but nothing crazy good. The timbits were ok, croissantwich was good. Second visit the following day, I just got the cold brew coffee again, and it was not as good as the day before. I chalked it up to new staff not really knowing what to do. Third visit almost a week later I had a coupon to get a free medium cold brew so I came by to check it out again. They couldn't figure out how to get the coupon to work after 5 mins, so I just paid for it. Coffee was mediocre and disappointing again, but the timbits and the honey cruller were really really good this time! Today was my 4th visit because they sent another discount coffee coupon. Once again they did not know how to use it ,and after a few mins I just said don't worry about it I'll just pay full price. The coffee was better than the previous 2 visits, but still not near what it was on the first visit. I want to make this my go to place. But the inconsistency is really disappointing. It seems to be luck of the draw right now and I'm hoping they will fix that and eventually be consistent. I would maybe give them another month before trying this place. If they aren't fixed and consistent by then....This place might not be the one.

Decided to try this place, the lines for it have been ASTRONOMICAL so we figured it was the IT place. Oof where we wrong. They have 2 order boxes, you roll up and you get ignored (this was 2pm on a Thursday). Their menu is very underwhelming, with all the hype I expected some unique drinks or even a maple one! But no. Just latte, cappuccino, macchiato or cold brew. Boring. I say "Hello!" Into the speaker, crickets. We wait about 2 minutes for someone to come on and say "can I help you?" He either just got there or hates his job. We ordered 2 drinks and pulled up. There were 4 cars in front of us and our total drive through wait time was about 17 minutes, WAY to long for 2pm with 4 cars. We get to the window and everyone is running around like there's a fire, remember, ITS FOUR WHOLE CARS. I get my husbands drink and then she hands me mine. I say, it was supposed to be iced. Then the girl making the drinks starts arguing with the girl at the window, "no it's hot." No. I ordered iced. They finally figure it out then the girl at the window blames another guy "oh he rang it wrong." Ok? Not looking for someone to blame, just do better. FINALLY, we get our long awaited coffees! An iced caramel macchiato and a vanilla crème cold brew. GROSS. Taste worse than the coffee at a gas station or McDonald's. Has ZERO flavor, just taste like milk and bland coffee. Absolutely nothing special about about. The drinks are also either very hot before ice or very watered down because 85% of the ice is already melted in my cup and I've had it 10 minutes. I'll NEVER be back, why spend that kind of time for a basic cup of coffee.

When I visited this location it was late in the day for me so I didn't want any caffeine and they didn't have decaf. I wanted to try something since I don't pass by this store often. The cashier suggested the Boston cream pie donut and so I got that. I really liked it. Just would have to try it again for the coffee.

New to Elyson community, nice having a quality coffee house to visit. Reasonable price. Avocado toast had too much salt, but delicious. Matcha latte nice.

The cashier just stared at me when I walked up to order - no "good morning" or "can I take your order" or anything. Wasn't sure what to do so I just said "hi, are you ready to take my order" and she nodded so I told her what I wanted. Latte was just milk.

Overhyped and underwhelming. Drove 50+ miles excited to come try but left disappointed. Waited around 30 minutes in the drive thru. Ordered an iced mochanut latte and chocolate iced capp. Both came out halfway melted like it had been sitting out for too long. Also ordered the breakfast sandwiches which were just okay at best. I wouldn't make the hour drive again. Hoping to have one closer soon with a better experience.

Visiting from California and Absolutely loved this place! Extremely friendly staff, knew just what I wanted. On top of everything it was clean inside and outside. Would definitely recommend this place. I order their hot crème brûlée

To be honest, the drink is really good, first time there i was supper impressed by their whipped cream. But the waiting time.. i mean I don't mind waiting for good thing but THEY TAKE FOREVER TO DO MY DRINK and the line is not long at all as well as the drive thru. Second time there i was almost late for work cause i have to wait 20-25mins for the drink. I paid for the whipped and they didn't even do it right. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

HONEST REVIEW: I was very hyped to try it here. I drove an hour out of my way. I pray they gave me unsweet tea by accident and not sweet tea that I ordered. I even had to ask the drive thru again to make sure it was SWEET tea and not unsweet tea. I also got the honey dip "Timbits" that tasted good but were given to me dang near frozen. Very disappointed in my visit. I think I'll stick with Krispy Kreme Donuts, Shipley's Donut Holes and traditional Texas Sweet Tea.

They had a few growing pains when they first opened which is understandable, but service and the lines are better now. Those of us who grew up around Tim Hortons will not be disappointed and will enjoy the same great flavors and smells of nostalgia. Those who go here for the first few times I'd steer you towards all the coffee drinks (try an iced cappuccino) and donuts (timbits) . Plus, you'll be pleasantly surprised to get a delicious bagel that actually has the cream cheese on it and cut in half instead of the savage competitor's plain bagel with a knife and cheese tub tossed in a bag. Priced right and in a convenient location.

Pack your patience folks since it's a well known out of town chain finally hitting H Town it is very busy. They had a parking lot attendant directing traffic for the parking and drive through to keep things moving and that was super helpful. The drive thru line is double lane from the entrance to once you've ordered so moved a little better than I was worried about. Since it's the official opening Weekend I was worried it would take longer but it was a little over a half hour from pulling In to getting my order. The Coffee was as expected although my double double seemed a little sweeter than it should be so they may need to adjust their serving size dispenser. We always get the Tim Bits of course, the birthday cake flavor was surprisingly good, which I didn't expect. I also appreciated that for the odd numbered one they added an extra chocolate one instead of the basic glazed.
