Tim Hortons is decent for a quick coffee stop, but it’s pretty hit-or-miss. The coffee is okay and does the job, but it’s not very consistent from visit to visit. Service is generally fine, though it can feel rushed during busy times. The menu has good options, but items are sometimes unavailable or not as fresh as expected. Overall, it’s convenient and affordable, just not standout.

Me and a friend went to this location and we ordered 2 ice coffees and 1 chicken and cheese melt. The coffees were fine but when we received the melt, there was no chicken inside. We thought of it as an accident so we told them about it and if they could remake it or even just put chicken inside this one. But instead, after our complaint, they gave us chicken separately and told us to put it in the sandwich ourselves. If I had to make the food myself, I would work at Tim Hortons instead of going as a customer. Horrible experience with the staff 0/10.

Always great to visit a Canadian tradition, the coffee was hot and fresh, the TimBits were great. The service could have been better as it felt that with the number of people behind they were still struggling.

Perfectly located within a couple miles of an ice rink. We stop here every week and load up on Timbits for the little hockey players Saturday mornings. Our order is always ready on time amd always fresh.

A Delightful Experience with My Favorite Steep Tea! I had a truly wonderful experience enjoying my all-time favorite Steep Tea at Tim Hortons on Westheimer in Houston, Texas. This marks the fifth location I’ve written a review for—three in Canada and now my second in Houston—and it never fails to impress me! After a long time, I was able to savor the rich and comforting flavors of their perfectly brewed Steep Tea. It brought back memories of my earlier visits and reaffirmed why Tim Hortons holds a special place in my heart. I am Canadian 🇨🇦 and this reminds me of home. The coffee is good although they didn't know what a double double is 😃 Timbits are always a classic although I am not a big fan of the ones with sprinkles. It's an hour's drive for me but I'll be back as often as possible.

Live everything about this place but they can’t make coffee. Every time I order cappuccino, I just get a ‘bucket of milk’. This is not cappuccino at all. Picture attached. And if I say something I get extremely agitated worker who would actually fight me trying to proof they did it right. Service 0; coffee 0; food, prices -10

My husband and I had been waiting to be served and one lady just looked at us, and passed us on to the next person to assist us. I didn't like that

The food is good, the coffee is excellent, and the service is awesome. It's a really nice place for breakfast.

Spotted this place while leaving my friends one morning and decided to try it out. It's a solid little spot for coffee and pastries. I'm normally it wa coffee drinker but needed a little boost. Purchased a iced caramel macchiato and a blueberry muffin. 5/5 for both. Hopefully more Tim Hortons will appear throughout Houston.

I've been craving Tim Hortons so much! Me being part Canadian, this place definitely hit my home roots. From the delicious coffee, to the selection of food and pastries, Tim Hortons is a great spot to hangout and grab a drink with your friends! Located convenintely off of Westheimer near Dunvale, Tim Hortons brings good Canadian coffee to the lovely U.S. of A. My go-to orders for the drinks are the vanilla iced coffee, or the original blend hot coffee with 2 cream and 2 sugar. Hands down some of the best I have had! Looking at the surrounding area, there is parking on both sides of the restaurant, with a two lane drive-thru. For parking, it's probably best to park in the back and walk it since there isn't too much on the sides. This place is super special to me because when they had their grand opening, they had a wheel to spin with great prizes! I managed to win Free Coffee for a Year, and I am so THANKFUL that I won that prize! Thank you to Tim Hortons for hosting a wonderful grand opening event! That made my day so much better!

Better than the last time I had it. However the cold brew is pretty weak in flavor. Location seemed clean. The donuts looked old and dry. But it was also late in the day. Service was friendly and prompt.

Great alternative to Starbucks. I enjoy Their English muffin sandwich. Usually, ordered via DoorDash I decided to stop in to check it's vibe since I no longer dash being I was in the vicinity. The location was clean and I was greeted by friendly smiles. That's really all that matters tbh! IMO My cubs love Their blueberry muffins. There's also donuts available too! If there was one gripe it would be to bring back the brown sugar as that's the only flavor I want in My coffee. Hopefully, a location will open closer to Me but if You're near Westheimer and Fondren near the Galleria definitely check Them out! Always great to have an alternative to S*******s :) LoL

First time at Tim Hortons . Coffee was fresh, hot, and had a good flavor to it. I don't know if it's the best I ever had but still good. The biscuit sandwich was not bad. Biscuit tasted soft and flaky which was my first observation. Not a bad quick bite to eat. Hash brown felt a little small , not too greasy and was a a little bland. I guess the big difference eating Tim Hortons I don't taste the high sodium (salt) taste right away. Which was nice. Driving in from rear of store and seeing two lanes had me concerned for wait time but there was only two cars ahead. Not bad at all. When I finally got my food there was already about 8 cars in back of me. I expect this place gets pretty busts All in all good quick bite for the mornings. Especially on the go. This location is about 20-25 min away from where I live. I will definitely be back but I don't think this will be my go too and go every day place.

Wifey and I enjoyed a couple coffee drinks, she got a frozen blended coffee drink and I don't remember what kind....I was distracted by taking pics of other things, I enjoyed a hot cappuccino wit' 2 splendas. The lid on my coffee was nifty, it had a small flap you can fold up and over to snap into place on the lid, a lot of other lids had a piece I couldn't seem to keep out of my way so I'd rip it off, like I said...nifty. I gnoshed on a mediocre walnut crunch donut....3 stars.

Red Velvet Cold Brew!!!! Just ask for that! It's not too sweet. It's perfect..... I'm not a big fan of chocolate but this drink here. Wooozers! This is my favorite coffee 2023 hands down. And it was about four freaking dollars. And Tim Hortons have an app for points and coupons!! Yeaaa you can say I switched sides lol

We love the honey crullers from Tim Hortons and so glad there is one on Westheimer. Got my honeh crullers fix and it was $1.45 each which wasn't bad. They are moist and fluffy. Hubby got the Christmas tree which had Boston cream filling and saw it was good. The peppermint timbit was also good. It was clean little cafe but the cashier, Keandria, wasn't friendly at all.

At least, I tried it and can say I don't like it. Im not sure how this franchise will survive in a city full of foodies. I ordered two classic donuts: glazed and chocolate. The size was disappointing for Texas and the dough was dense like a pizza dough. I like my donuts soft and fluffy. I'm disappointed and will not be returning.

I was looking forward to having a Tim Hortons nearby. I've tried it in Canada and remember it being less expensive than the mermaid coffee shop. I dropped in when I read online it was opening today. The staff were super nice. They are open 24 hours and serve the breakfast sandwiches all day too. They have ground coffee and mugs for sale. The donuts looked good but I wasn't hungry. I opted for a small latte. I didn't see brown sugar nor coffee stirrers though. They're probably working out the kinks. I hope they do well because other businesses in the corner haven't survived.

I've known that there was a Tim Hortons out in Katy but happy to see a location open up in the Westheimer area. Tim Hortons is a Canadian breakfast food franchise similar to Dunkin' Donuts. I'd have to say that I much prefer Tim Hortons' coffee and donuts. Their donuts are more moist and have a "cakey" dough. If it's your first time, I recommend starting out with a box of assorted Timbits. The best flavor is the birthday cake. The reason I keep coming back here though is for their original iced capp. I love the flavor of the cappuccino blend and even when the ice melts it doesn't last watered down. This location has a two-lane drive through. I've been here 5 times already and the service is still a bit inconsistent. Some days I'm in and out in less than 3 minutes and other days longer. They've been open less than a month so they're probably still working out a few kinks. Definitely stop by if you're interested in a quick but delicious breakfast.

For years I've heard that Tim Horton's is Canada's version of Dunkin' Donuts. Dunkin' Donuts sucks, so I never had any interest in trying Tim Horton's. Not to mention that Houston is home to Shipley's Donuts - the greatest donuts in the whole world. Shipley's also serves beignets, kolaches, bear claws, cinnamon rolls, strudels... all kinds of sweet pastries that will eventually kill you, but sure make your short life more enjoyable. And if that's not enough, Houston has weirdo donut places like Voodoo Donuts where you can get a fruity pebble cheesecake donut. There's also super-fancy donut joints like River Oaks Donuts, where you can get the most gourmet donuts of all time, or piping hot kolaches with Prasek's sausage! Houston is a donut town. Why would Tim Horton's enter this market that previously kicked the crap out of Krispy Kreme? There's a Dunkin two miles west that's been on life support since it opened six years ago. No idea. Doesn't make any sense. I kept driving past this new Tim Horton's that has opened up on Westheimer, east of Fondren. One morning I thought to myself, "why the hell not?" I made a u-turn and pulled into their small parking lot. Full size trucks don't fit well in their spaces. Clean store with friendly staff. I ordered a cup of their Original Blend coffee black and a chocolate dipped donut. The coffee tasted like pea soup. I hate pea soup. Awful. The donut was ok. Not good, not bad. Nothing to write home about. Two days later, a friend insisted we try Tim Horton's. This time I tried the cold brew vanilla cream concoction. It was ok. I sampled her orange tangerine chiller, or whatever it was called. Too sweet. Unnecessary. We tried the waffle egg sandwich with sausage, plain cake donut, chocolate iced donut, apple fritter, honey cruller, and an assortment of donut holes with the peppermint bark donut hole. Everything wast just a whole bunch of ok. Do Canadians say, "meh"? It was all meh. You're better off going to the Shipley's a half mile west of there. That is if you want to eat donuts (which are really bad for you). If you're going to eat junk - do it right and make it worth it.

Way better than Shipleys! (Don't come for me! Lol) I've been driving by this location for months now anticipating their grand opening. I've heard good things about Tim Hortons but I hadn't tried them for myself.... Until yesterday! Hubby and I decided to get breakfast. I really wanted to try the cruller donut with a caramel iced latte and the hubby wanted a breakfast sandwich meal. We also ordered a dozen donuts for co workers. We placed our orders and pulled to the window. The service was fast and friendly with a smile. We parked in the parking lot anxious to try our food. Hubs devoured the sandwich and hash brown in one bite. Lol. He gave it a 9/10. My iced latte was very good but nothing to write home about. The donuts however were good enough to write home about! Let's talk about the honey cruller shall we?! It is an absolute sin! It's that good! Described as a soft, and airy shaped glaze donut with a subtle honey flavor. It was absolutely delicious! Sweet but not too sweet. Had a flaky, slightly crispy edge. I'm so happy there were only two in the box because if there were more..... well you know the rest lol. Other favorites from co worker feedback: #1 Apple Fritter ~ a cinnamon and Apple flavored bear claw with a crispy edge. #2 Boston Cream pie~ a vanilla custard filled donut with chocolate fondant icing. #3 Chocolate Dipped ~ a glazed ring donut dipped in chocolate fondant icing. To wrap up this review let's just say, I will be back. Fast friendly service, great donuts and good coffee. If you have not checked them out you should! You will be happy you did.

The Canadian operation is trying to get a foothold in Houston, and that's great, however there is a problem. If a person goes online the restaurant chain evidently has no idea which service company, i.e. Grubhub, Seamless, or some of the others will be used nor can they look at an order that was entered and confirmed to their system. I just ran into this issue where one of the locations had no record of my order for customer pick-up even though it was confirmed, so about sixty dollars out the window. Also a CSR with Horton's confirmed that they were having issues with their online order systems. Just be aware of their current problems.

If you want to try a real coffee then this is the place. Not to mention the donuts are to die for. Glad they made the move down south and especially glad they are so convenient for me. Give it a try I am sure you wont regret it. But be warned you may become addicted.

I had a great first visit here! The parking lot is huge (in the back). They have a slim alley of parking right by the drive thru but it's pretty dangerous backing in/out bc you're literally between the entrance of the place and the start of the drive thru line. I recommend parking in the back where it's bigger/safer. If you get the app they give you a bunch of vouchers for freebies/discounts and it tracks points for you to redeem later. I used my free medium drink (got the cold brew with vanilla which I got screwed over for bc the lady asked me if I wanted cold foam and I said yes but wasn't told it cost 50 cent extra). The drink otherwise tasted great and wasn't too sweet. I got the timbits mix for my family (they liked the birthday cake flavor the best). I got the breakfast croissant sandwich with sausage (yummy but the croissant ofc was not fall apart flaky but a little tougher). Overall great experience! The food/drinks were good and very affordable. Like the double drive thru option and mobile order counter if you don't want to wait in line for the main register inside. Will be going back!

First time to stop at a Tim Hortons - probably the last. I could summarize my thought in six words, but Yelp required at least 85 characters. Coffee - bleh Donuts - meh Muffins - ok

First time here. I needed a pit stop to pee and wanted to try out this place that replaced 7 Leaves Boba shop a while back. I like that they have all day breakfast burritos. Definitely business seem more busy than the old boba shop at this corner. There's a good amount of seating seating too with good AC in this crazy sweaty weather. The Solar Splash wad refreshing. It was just a bit small. Like a kids cup. But the burritos box was innovative and I love eating without holding food with bare hands. There's a lot of bugs or flies flying round and the tables could be cleaner. I'd come back tho

The best coffee shop hands down. Not to mention the donuts, Timbits and other food items are fresh and delicious. I am glad they are in Houston, and cant wait to see them continue to expand and distroy the competition with their superior product and agressive pricing.

Customer service is great. They are quick and really nice . Also there is two lanes in the drive thru. I liked the burritos here they have a beef sausage option instead of the normal pork sausage every other place has for breakfast items. Only thing I would say negative is that when I get a bagel with cream cheese it's always inconsistent sometimes they put enough cream cheese sometimes they barely put anything.

Meh. Drinks where either super sweet or water down. Food was super dry , tasted old . Overpriced . Horrible slow service . They also forgot my order , and I was one of the few customers in the store .

The staff at this particular Tim Hortons on Westheimer are really awesome! The cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese is to die for the plane cake old-fashioned doughnut is pure bliss! Definitely stop by if you're in the area and the drive-through services is always friendly and very timely and they also have an indoor dining area as well. I recommend this particular establishment very highly!

Love this place, the people are friendly fast courteous service, yes, they're learning but helpful and nice. The donuts are as good as the Tims in Buffalo NY where I first learned of Tim Hortons many years ago. Clean restaurant, great coffee, nice assortment, I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

Tim has ventured a long way from Canada to Houston and that's a good thing, eh?. Good coffees, treats, etc. The doughnut menu is a bit limited compared to competitors like Shipley and Dunkin'. The doughnut quality ranks behind Shipley but ahead of Dunkin'. Parking here is a bit difficult due to limited spots.

The manager and his team this morning were wonderful: kind and attentive. Everything is very clean and the coffee is delicious.

Terrible service. Very long wait time. I don't like Starbucks and trying to boycott them so i guess i just won't get coffee anymore.

I went to the Tim Horton's on 8910 Westheimer Road and ordered a latte for myself and what I thought was simply oatmilk with cinnamon and sugar for my 4-year old. I drove away and tried his drink realizing it was actually coffee and went back asking for them to give me juice or something without coffee. the manager refused to accommodate me. I understand I made a mistake, but she was unwilling to give me another drink. She insisted I'd have to pay for it. Even something of lesser value. I know she's not required to accommodate my mistake, but I've been to Starbucks and other coffee spots that are so much more accommodating and understanding. I have no issue with the food, it was the service and lack of understanding that would keep me from going to that location again.

Breakfast is horrible. Tried it twice and didn't like it but was hoping it was busy a one time issue. Truth is the donuts are dry and dense . Breakfast is as if they microwave everything rather than cook it fresh. I will not recommend this place. Sad, was hoping this place would finally have a successful story.

unfortunately, this was not a good experience as a first time customer. I ordered two drinks, both of which they got wrong. The drinks were supposed to be the same size, however, they seemingly gave me a small and a large. they took a *very* long time, which I could understand, as it is still the opening week. However, both of the drinks being wrong after them taking so long to make them is absurd honestly. It seems that none of the seven staff members who were working had any previous barista experience with the way that they were interacting with each other in attempting to make the drinks. when we arrived, we were the only person in the drive-through, and there was one person in store. We were very surprised at how long our drinks took to be made. I think I'll be sticking to Starbucks, unfortunately! Super bummed--I was very excited about the opening of this store.
