Timber Pizza – Neapolitan Flavor with DMV Soul 🍕
With locations across D.C., Maryland, and Virginia, Timber Pizza is steadily becoming a local favorite, bringing authentic Neapolitan-style pizza to the region. The Annapolis location, nestled on West Street, is especially charming—with its brick façade and large, welcoming bay windows, it feels like a spot that’s always been part of the neighborhood.
Step inside and you’re immediately greeted by friendly staff and the energy of an open kitchen, where dough is stretched, tossed, and topped right before your eyes. At the heart of the space is the showstopper: a hunter green Marra Forni rotating pizza oven, tiled in mosaic and emblazoned with “Timber” in bright orange lettering. The temperature gauge reads 650°F—just right for turning out perfectly blistered, chewy-yet-crispy pies.
Everything is made to order. Once you place your order, the team gets to work—pulling out fresh dough balls, expertly shaping them, and layering on your selected toppings. The pizza is then fired for what feels like a magical 90 seconds before being gently boxed and handed over.
The entire process is fast, fresh, and fun to watch—almost as satisfying as eating the pizza itself.
