A Flurry of D.C. Restaurants and Chefs Flock to Annapolis - Eater DC

"Timber Pizza’s co-owner and president Chris Brady brought his Petworth-bred pies to Annapolis. Upon opening in August, the 1,850-square-foot venue off West Street was flooded with customers, showing a demand for his award-winning pizza." - Claudia Rosenbaum

Annapolis Nets One of D.C.’s Best Pizza Places | Eater DC

"I'm excited that Timber Pizza Co., Petworth’s critically acclaimed source for crispy, “Neapolitan-ish” pies since 2016, is opening at 192 West Street in Annapolis this summer. Founded by Chris Brady and Andrew Dana (with Chef Daniela Moreira joining early on), the brand began as a farmers market stand with a pizza oven and a ’67 Chevy before debuting its first brick-and-mortar in 2016; the Annapolis spot will be its first true sophomore location outside D.C. The menu will largely mirror the D.C. shop with a rotating list of 12-inch, wood-fired pies (11 white, red, and green varieties at any given time), specialty pies topped with ingredients like cured chorizo, pea shoot pesto, sous‑vide chicken thigh, roasted sweet potatoes, and kale, and best-sellers such as the Pretty in Pepperoni and the Bentley (provolone and mozzarella blend, cured chorizo, soppressata, Peruvian sweet peppers, and spicy honey). Expect wood-fired empanadas, seasonal salads sized for one to four made with local veggies, a bar showcasing Maryland spirits and Annapolis breweries, and a petite dining room with 20-something seats, a copper-topped bar, reclaimed wood furniture, tin elements, and a forest-green Marra Forni oven with bright orange lettering; hours will follow the home base (daily for dinner starting at 5 p.m., lunch Fridays–Sundays)." - Tierney Plumb

Thank you to Timber Pizza for hosting my mom group this weekend! We have 5 couples in their private space upstairs that was perfect for our group. The pizza was very good and we all loved the flavors, service, and atmosphere. The salads were fresh and delicious as well. Thank you for hosting us and for your outstanding service. Great date night or just day out for pizza and people watching

Loved this place! Such kind people and everyone was super helpful. I love that the pizza is made from a wood burning pizza oven. The pizza is light and delicious.. seriously the best pizza my husband and i have had in Annapolis so far! I recommend! Sometimes if we want pizza but we are busy at home, we order delivery on DoorDash!

Visiting Annapolis and came up to this great pizza place. The people and restaurant were friendly and inviting. Ordered two pies for takeout. When we opened the boxes, the pies looked delish. First bite was unexpectedly a pleasure.

This place has everything: friendly staff, great music, and delicious pizza. The Lot pizza is amazing with the combo of a slow burn of the jalapeño, pineapple chups, and pork *chef’s kiss* Do yourself a favor and stop in for the best pizza in town.

Timber Pizza – Neapolitan Flavor with DMV Soul 🍕 With locations across D.C., Maryland, and Virginia, Timber Pizza is steadily becoming a local favorite, bringing authentic Neapolitan-style pizza to the region. The Annapolis location, nestled on West Street, is especially charming—with its brick façade and large, welcoming bay windows, it feels like a spot that’s always been part of the neighborhood. Step inside and you’re immediately greeted by friendly staff and the energy of an open kitchen, where dough is stretched, tossed, and topped right before your eyes. At the heart of the space is the showstopper: a hunter green Marra Forni rotating pizza oven, tiled in mosaic and emblazoned with “Timber” in bright orange lettering. The temperature gauge reads 650°F—just right for turning out perfectly blistered, chewy-yet-crispy pies. Everything is made to order. Once you place your order, the team gets to work—pulling out fresh dough balls, expertly shaping them, and layering on your selected toppings. The pizza is then fired for what feels like a magical 90 seconds before being gently boxed and handed over. The entire process is fast, fresh, and fun to watch—almost as satisfying as eating the pizza itself.

Came here for lunch and genuinely had some of the best pizza I have had in a while. The prickly pear lemonade was fantastic. I had nothing but good to say about my meal.

Timber Pizza was incredible! The service was top-notch; you order at the counter, and then the food is brought right to your table. The pizza was outstanding—you could really taste that delicious wood-fired crust. We ordered the slow-roasted pork and roasted squash empanadas, along with three pizzas: Pretty in Pepperoni, The Bentley, and The Shirley. Highly recommend all of these dishes! The portions were generous enough for four of us to share and still have leftovers. They had local beers in cans or draft. Can’t wait to come back!

Quality pizza, and a nice setup inside. Definitely recommend the pretty in pepperoni pie. The pepperoni had good flavor and you can tell the dough was freshly prepared. Worth stopping in Annapolis and checking it out.
