We discovered Timberyard Brewing through Harvest Hosts and what an awesome surprise it turned out to be! The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of character—definitely one of those places where you feel like you can kick back and stay awhile. The food was delicious, and the beer selection was top-notch. You can tell they put care into what they serve, and everything we tried was flavorful and fresh. But hands down, our favorite part of the visit was meeting their three-legged dog! We had our own tripod pup with us, so it felt like fate. The staff were so friendly and loved the coincidence—it made the whole experience feel even more personal and special. It’s not every day you get to hang out with 3 legged doodles! If you're looking for great brews, tasty bites, and a welcoming atmosphere (especially if you're traveling with your dog!), Timberyard Brewing is definitely worth the stop. We’ll be talking about this visit for a long time!

Google
Recently held my son’s rehearsal dinner at Timberyard. From start to finish they were amazing! They were attentive, professional and provided exceptional service. Everyone raved about the food and staff. We had both the pulled pork and chicken bq, collard greens were about the best I ever had. Typically not a fan of them but would definitely order them again. Brian, our server was on top of everything. The wait staff at the bar as always went above and beyond

Google
We absolutely love Timberyard! Every time we visit we find something new to enjoy. The food is incredible, the environment is so comfortable, and their team is top notch. Highly recommend checking them out for a visit. They are also a hidden GEM for events- they can host parties of all different styles and sizes and the owner and chef will make sure you are happy and well fed!

It took me a couple of attempts to visit Timberyard brewing because they open in the mid-afternoon but I finally got a chance to try it out. The atmosphere inside is fantastic. It’s very wide open so it doesn’t feel claustrophobic at all. I love the performance stage made from an old flatbed pick up truck. It is a nice touch. Having a skeleton sitting in the driver seat is an interesting surprise and I could tell other customers loved it because people were going up and checking it out. (See my pictures) The creativity used in the making of the stage really adds to the fun of Timberyard brewing. I tried a flight of four different beers and they were all good. Nothing jumped out at me as being really awesome but they definitely were all tasty. The staff that I interacted with that afternoon were incredibly friendly and helpful. This really added to the welcoming vibe of the brewery. I didn’t order any food so I can’t tell you how that was, but they do have a menu which I included a picture of. The bathrooms are clean, which is a real bonus. On the restroom stall and hand dryer, customers have placed all kinds of different brewery stickers, which is kind of cool. I always appreciate a place that keeps their bathrooms clean and this is one of them. My buddy Carl, that I visited the brewery with loves IPAs, and he really enjoyed their selection of IPAs. The building is only one story high so it is absolutely wheelchair accessible. Because it’s so wide open and the entrances to the bathroom are wide, I don’t believe anyone with a wheelchair or scooter would have any trouble being comfortable here. I say this as an observation, because I am not in a wheelchair and I don’t use a scooter. To sum it up, I highly recommend Timberyard Brewing Company. It’s family friendly, in the afternoon at least. I haven’t been there at night but I’m sure it’s the same. Good beers, great staff, and I’m sure the food is fantastic but again I didn’t try any. stop in and have a beer or two and maybe something to snack on, you’ll be glad you did.

Spacious, good vibe, excellent beers. Band was great. Owner Matt cool dude, laid back and friendly. We're Harvest Hosts from CT and camp on property often.....

Google
First visit was fun. It's a large space that reminds me of an old car gravyard.. but nicer, if that makes sense? I only stopped for a drink to check it out and the beer was pretty good. We also ended up having a pizza too. Interesting place, would go back if I'm in the area again for sure.

Google
If you’re seeking a brewery experience that’s different from others, duck into Timberyard Brewing Company! The staff is friendly and fast, offering suggestions and kindness. Pictured here is the Notorious P.I.G. And the nachos. The sandwich was exceptional! Lots of flavor and a generous portion, to boot! The beers drank were a few IPAs and some sours. All were fairly unique and entirely enjoyable. Tables were spaced out, servers were hustling to help the crowd, and the facility was spotless!

Google
Good place to grab an adult beverage, grab a bite to eat, listen to music. They have a variety of beer and light foods to choose from. It can get lots with live music, but they are good about watching the sound level. There are a few tables and chairs along the walls but most of the seating is picnic tables.
google avatar

Benjamin G.

Yelp
I love the interior design of this place, they did a great job decorating it however the beer is just not up to par in my personal opinion, most of the IPAs they claim are NE IPA are bitter and metallic tasting without the fruity finish. There's always room for improvement so hopefully there's better beer to come from this place in the future.

David F.

Yelp
We have been there twice when they had advertised live music. No live music. The last time and I mean last time was their so called Oktoberfest. We went on the last day and they had advertised an accordion player from 2-5pm. We arrived just after 2 and lo and behold no live music. Will not be returning because there are so many other choices and those, actually have live music when they say they will. The Oktoberfest was lame too. Unless you just want to sit at a picnic table and just drink beer, don't waste your time.

Yelp
Fun atmosphere, family friendly - plenty of outdoor space for kids to release energy and parents to hang. Food is tasty- great wingys! Beers / homemade sodas superb! Love and if you're in the area- stop by.

Yelp
We returned to Timberyard and had a really nice time. Food was great, drinks were delicious, and the whole experience was much improved. You can tell management here is deeply invested in what they've built and are committed to exceeding customer expectations. The ambiance was great too. Bottom line, we had a lot of fun and I'm so glad we gave it and other try.

Yelp
Great atmosphere. Fast execution and good food choices! Great spot for a quick get together.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing , high quality food. You can tell they love what they do. And the place has good vibes. Definitely would go back.

Yelp
THE BLUE CHEESE HERE!!!! Stop 3 on our brewery hop. It was a breath of fresh air after the first two breweries. There was a little something for everyone. Flavored homemade seltzer for my daughter and I, beer for the guys, food and games for everyone! The staff immediately were friendly and fun to talk to. It was more laid back. I love art in spaces so another win in my book. Great outdoor area for the kids to have a little freedom but confined enough for safety. Also doesn't hurt their logo is pretty dope. Blue cheese- I believe it's made on the premises. They give you large containers (Yes- love that they aren't cheap with it) and it was just delicious! Watermelon seltzer- I am not a big seltzer fan but it was heavier on the watermelon flavor than seltzer- win for me! Wings- cooked well. Crispy coating. Needed a little flavor but the blue cheese made it top notch! Also served with pineapple jalapeno hot sauce for a little kick. I tried it, not my jam. Notorious- not quite like the picture Timberyard has posted. It needed sauce! I doused it in that blue cheese and that hits the spot. Mac and cheese- my 10 year old loved it! It was delicious but really heavy. I like it paired with the balsamic salad. (Although we did ask for chips instead.) Overall- the 3rd stop was our favorite stop of the day. True rating: 3.5

Yelp
A great spot to spend the day. Fantastic food & music. The indoor & outdoor areas are awesome and you can always find a spot to post up! Beer is pretty good too!
google avatar

Yelp
What a cool layout!!!! The stage is truly unique. Would recommend the pickle flight.... Delicious!! Many beer options including a great selection of sours

Yelp
First time. Served by the unfriendliest server in central Massachusetts. Tried one of their experimental series IPAs. I was kind on Untapped... this beer was lousy. Course and unrefined. It had nothing going for it. Please note. This beer review is not influenced by my indifferent server. I went out of my way to come here. Should have went to Oakholm.

Yelp
I have to admit that I'm NOT a beer fan. About every 35 years or so I drink one and today was that day!!! My partner is a beer drinker and loves better quality beers and I knew he'd love to visit some local breweries so I planned this trip for him. We arrived early on Sunday afternoon and realized the brewery was previously a lumber store in another life, so it's BIG. When you enter you're greeted by a host/hostess and they took our information for covid tracing. She asked us if we would prefer indoor or outdoor seating, we opted for outside as it was a beautiful day (inside was REALLY nice though). My partner picked his beer (slice of light/Belgium Witbier) and I had picked Practice what you Peach which was a farmhouse ale brewed with peaches and apricots. We also ordered a pretzel that came with dipping sauces. I have to say my beer wasn't too bad, it was smooth and went down easily (remember I'm not a beer drinker). I did try a taste of my partners and it definitely tasted like beer (ok, I hated his), but he really enjoyed it. We also enjoyed the pretzel we ordered for snack. It was a very nice experience and I know my partner was happy that I initiated this trip. I'm sure we'll be back as I'm willing to give some of those other fruity beers a shot!

Yelp
If I would have to describe Timberyard in one word it would be : Wow! Not only do they have amazing beers, their food is also amazing!! We stopped by on Saturday during the holiday season. They had a holiday market inside, someone playing christmas music LIVE and it was a wonderful little christmas village. I tried their strawberry lemonade sour and it was so good. I had a sip of my boyfriend's gingerbread stout and it was delicious too. For food: we got a Dry-Hopped pickle flight ( I know I've never heard of pickle flights before either!!), SO worth it. We then decided to try their Jalapeño popper and their smoked wings and they were both AMAZING. The smoked wings were my favorite, they are a must try if you come here!! Parking is available and the staff is really nice and friendly. 10/10 would recommend visiting Timberyard Brewing Company!

Allegra P.

Yelp
Decent standard beers, nice staff, cute cat, plenty of seating both indoors and out. I got a ton of bug bites from being outside in the evening, but when we went inside to see the The Buddy System performing live music I found a comfy couch to sit on. The only thing that disappointed was the pickle flight-- they all tasted extremely similar (very sweet, good, but not different) I couldn't tell the last two apart. You order everything at the counter and then go to your table with your drink. Get a table before ordering food.
google avatar

Stephen P.

Yelp
Outstanding beer, with standards and several creative spins. A great facility with a range of seating: in the main building with a stage for live music and really neat rustic decor, an open area of picnic tables, and a covered area with more picnic tables. Community feeling but tons of space.
google avatar

Yelp
Great food great service great family friendly atmosphere. Live entertainment was great

Yelp
They say "kid friendly", I don't know about the "kid" but they are not friendly! The menu is limited with no healthy alternatives. What they do have, sometimes: "not tonight " on the menu. Seating is cold and hard. And when we tried a couple of times we got to see some hack musicians playing. (Actually some were very good!) Playing at being a musician I suppose. Yet I only say this out of envy, don't you see, for faced with reality: it is I who really can't sing! ;~o

Avery C.

Yelp
We love Timberyard. This was our absolute favorite brewery when we lived in Leicester. The people who work there are super friendly. We became regulars shortly before we moved out of state, which still makes me sad to think about because we miss it so much. Their beer is amazing - the insight was my favorite. Food is also great. Both the indoor and outdoor areas are fun too. We can't wait to come back next time we visit
google avatar

Dawn B.

Yelp
Super chill place, pet friendly! Lots of indoor and outdoor seating (see photos outside.)
google avatar

Brianna D.

Yelp
I would give this place 3.5 stars but I am rounding up. Big parking lot, a lot of space to park. I went on a Saturday and did not have to wait to be seated. Tables are spaced out for good social distancing. Beer was amazing!!!! I got the insight and the hindsight both I would highly recommend. They also have beer cocktails which I didn't try but might next time! The art in the bathroom was also cool I liked how they had a write up about the artist as well. Service was not very good...I waited a very long time after I sat down to get my first beer and even longer after to get my second one, also got chicken wings which I was not impressed by but it's a beer place so I wasn't expecting much anyways.
google avatar

Heather W.

Yelp
Decided to try out Timberyard with my boyfriend for something to do on a sunny Saturday. The beer selection was good and they had flights available to test out a few. The interior seems like it would be a great place to hangout during the colder months, they have a stage and a lot of seating. Of course on a hot day everyone was outside, they have ample outdoor and seating and had great live music playing. We ordered pulled pork Mac n cheese, a Mediterranean sampler, and a pickle flight. The Mediterranean sampler was good and the Mac n cheese was fantastic. We were super excited about the pickle flights and were not disappointed! Definitely a must-try while visiting!

Jo R.

Yelp
So not a fan of the food. I just don't like things like poutine. Ambiance is fun, hip and cool. Trying different beers makes me feel as if I'm at a wine tasting, but.. I actually like beer. Service is great. Can't wait for a beer garden Friday night!
google avatar

Trisha B.

Yelp
Very impressed with this brewery! In a cute little town, Timberyard offers indoor and outdoor seating. They're dog friendly, they have live music on weekend nights, and they have food! I was impressed by their beer options and they easily appeal to many different types of beer drinkers. They don't have just your typical New England IPAs like other places around. They have ales and stouts, in addition to seasonal flavors. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Justin T.

Yelp
Love the 4 ipa's on tap. We will be back for the brew. We are vegetarian, so nothing to eat here for us, but that is fine. Par for the course. (Sorry, pretzels or pickles don't apply for a meal)
google avatar

Lelah P.

Yelp
OMG! Beautiful space, excellent brews, and a great vibe. We came for Family Sunday with Big Jon Short and had a fabulous time. Good eats, too. Great snack foods that paired well with the beers. Ready to walk 4 & 6 packs meant we could grab our favorites on the way out the door. We will be back!
google avatar

Craig S.

Yelp
I really enjoy the atmosphere of this place. It's cute, dog friendly and has good music. I haven't been impressed with the food, and their beer is okay (imo). I've given it a few chances and have always left wishing it was something it's not. Like a less annoying treehouse. I'm sure I'll be back, but it won't be for the beer or the food. More that it make sense location wise for friends.
google avatar

T L.

Yelp
Must try this new brewery!! We went for the first time with a large group and there were plenty of tables to accommodate us. There was a good selection of beers and they offered samplers. My favorite was the Pale Ale & my husband loved the IPA. Our group split a few appetizers, then decided to stay for lunch because everything was so good. First we had the goat cheese spread and the dry-hopped pickles, then Bacon/Brie/Fig panini and tomato/mozzarella/basil panini. They offer many events & live music in a chill atmosphere. It's located in an old lumber yard. Easy to find and plenty of parking.
google avatar

Lauren F.

Yelp
had been waiting to try this place for quite a while and i'm so glad i finally got around to it! i had the mac & cheese and the strawberry rhubarb sour - absolutely loved both of them! and that's saying something because i despise beer! my boyfriend had the notorious p.i.g and the wild mango ale. he said the sandwich was some of the best tasting food he had in a long time! waitress was very nice and attentive, also gave us one of our drinks on the house! will definitely be coming back here again and again!

Wayne D.

Yelp
Good beer. Decent food. Pickle flight is a great idea and the pickles are good but they all taste similar

Tim J.

Yelp
My daughter and I thought we'd try a new place and I'm glad we did. Nice people, great food, and awesome beer. We both ordered different sour beers and they were delicious. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was because of the limited menu, but what we ordered was very good. We liked that they had inside seating and both sun and shade outside seating.
google avatar

Nicole G.

Yelp
We have been here multiple times. Their Hindsight beer is amazing. Their wings are amazing! The service not so much. We stopped by at 130ish on a Sunday. The beer menu said they were sold out of their Brown beer. Ok so we will get other ones with our food. My husband went up to order wings, nachos, a pickle flight, Octoberfest, and Insight. No wings, no nachos, no Octoberfest sold out. My husband said how we have come on a Sunday previously and they were sold out of wings. The persons response "This is our Friday. You need to come Wednesday then." How rude... and seriously what does that even mean! The food we did order, mac & cheese, pretzel, and a pickle flight, took so long to come out we were almost done with our beer and were deciding if we'd just leave. We finished our food and left to a brewery 10mins from there that has a friendlier staff. I understand being out of stuff but be a little nicer about it.

Sara C.

Yelp
Love the atmosphere and the staff. Always a fun experience with my family. From the beverages, to the food, and the musical talents always a fabulous time.
google avatar

Yelp
Really neat find and very random. We just happened to notice the sign when driving by. The building is so cool. I believe it's modern but made to look like an old factory. The decor is very nice too. There's a fun skeleton driving an old truck. They also have a wall supporting art made by Syrian children (imagery is kind of bleak which makes sense) which I thought was nice. Other artwork you can purchase throughout the space. They have a big dog friendly outdoor section, communal tables and very comfortable couches. They offer food - we tried the pretzel and it was very good. Loved the ale cheese and dry hopped pickles that it came with. They have small plates and some larger bbq items, and also meals of the day specials. We wanted the rice and bean dish but it was sold out. Of course, you're coming here for the beers and they have a huge selection. You can also purchase cans and growlers to take away. For beer, we tried the peach one, the apple ale and the pina colada gose. I went with the peach and was a bit disappointed as there really wasn't a huge peach taste to it. Tasted rather bland. The apple ale one is fermented and a bit sour but had a real bold taste. You could tell it was apples. The winner was the pina colada gose. Very sour, be warned but you could definitely taste pina colada in the mix and it was a nice flavor combination. You can keep a tab and pay at the end at the counter. Line was long at one point as it was quite a busy place but went fast. They also sell ice cream. We were tempted as they had some unique flavors but stuck to the beers and pretzel. Family friendly too as there were many families there enjoying ice cream and beer. Good prices, plenty of seating and parking.

Andy L.

Yelp
Stopped in on a rainy Saturday right when they opened. Great open, airy space that didn't feel like some Breweries do. We found a table easily. Be advised there is no usual seats at the bar. They had a baby shower going on taking up half the Brewery but it actually enhanced the fun atmosphere. I trie a flight of four beers, three Lagers and a dry Stout. All the beers we sampled we very clean, well made and super drinkable. Two of my three friends also chose flights so between we sampled over ten different beers there. We ordered a pretzel to share that was delicious the beer cheese is highly recommended and the dry hopped pickles were a pleasant surprise. The service was prompt and cheerful. I have absolutely have nothing negative to say about our experience at Timberyard and will definitely be returning in the future.
google avatar

Yelp
The beer is delicious, prices are great, the special cocktails are amazing. Highly recommend

Yelp
Went here on a friday night and it was a fantastic experience! All the different beer they have on tap is excelllent. The saison was my personal favorite! I ordered mac and cheese, which came with a side salad. Food was fantastic as well. The ambience was amazing as well. There is a nice rustic decor going on. It's nice and open with plenty of seating. There is a cool stage on the back of antique truck with a great band playing. Clearly everyone else seemed to be enjoying themselves as much as we were. Staff was friendly and efficient. Space was also very clean. Definitely a brewery to stop at.

Ed K.

Yelp
The beers were pretty good. The taproom is a big room with very high ceilings so it was quite loud. When we initially got there we ordered food and we're asked where we were sitting, we didn't have a seat yet so I pointed to an empty table. The problem was it was occupied when we got our beer and when I tried explaining that to the bartender she got quite confused. It was a bit annoying, I would give them another star if it wasn't for that.
google avatar

Tricia D.

Yelp
Nice place, love the decor! Definitely growing and evolving. Love the new outdoor seating area!! Beer is great, Beer is good...Timberyard also has some awesome food...

Chuck M.

Yelp
Live band, decent food. Beer selection typical. The atmosphere makes the trip out to the Brookfields worth it.
google avatar

Catherine L.

Yelp
Every time I am back home in Massachusetts I stop at Timberyard! Great beer, food, and service! One of my favorites is their sour beer called Idyll Weisse! Support this local business next time you are traveling to or through central mass!!
google avatar

Serena B.

Yelp
Great place to be. They always have bands playing or activities going on. Never a boring experience. The beer is tasty as well ;-)
google avatar

Gary H.

Yelp
The mac and cheese was watery. The salad was all vinegar. The lager was soapy. The ginger ale smelled like birch beer and no one can identify the flavor. I mean the place has cool ambiance but if my experience is any indication nothing is good here.
google avatar

Makenzie F.

Yelp
This place was absolutely amazing! Beer is great, environment is incredible! This is one of the best brewery locations that I've experienced. Highly recommend the Insight IPA and the soft pretzel.

Sara V.

Yelp
What drew me to Timberyard was the farmer's market, but my fiancé and aunt decided to make an afternoon out of it and have a drink and some lunch. We ordered some cauliflower spinach dip, which was amazing, and some drinks. I had a beer, and my fiancé had a beer cocktail where they take beer and they mix it with other non-alcoholic beverages to make a drink and it was actually really delicious. I have been recommending this place to everybody I know!

Joe H.

Yelp
Went for the first time on Saturday Beer was fantastic Also got the pretzel and pulled pork and they were outstanding The person who waited on us was attentive and friendly 45 min drive and will definitely be back
google avatar

Melanie G.

Yelp
We have been here several times and never disappointed. The staff are patient and always ready to answer questions and give us their opinions, which matter to us. The food we have had (pretzels OMG) has been great and we plan on making this a regular stop. It's closer than Treehouse and quite a shorter wait. My husband loves the IPA's and I love the sours... something for everyone is A++! Thank you! Keep it going!
google avatar

George K.

Yelp
Met friends here. While it was empty when we met, the parking lot is not large - I don't know where overflow cars would park. The 3 beer flavors I had were pretty good. Beers are a little pricey - credit card slip had one round with $7 price per beer for Wolftrees and Hindsight IPAs. also a Hazy Lightning IPA. I liked them yesterday but can't describe any of them now. There's an old pickup truck in a corner that bands play on. A 2-person group entertained at the right sound level, meaning not deafening. The men's room was small but nicely decorated. Watch out for that guy in the hat that doesn't wash his hands after. The decor is brewery plain, with many long picnic tables.
google avatar

Jerry S.

Yelp
Nice upscale addition to our area .My only complaint is not everyone who likes craft beer is a fan of IPA they could use more beer selection beyond IPA s
google avatar

Jered K.

Yelp
Awesome brewery, beer is fantastic, food is delicious, and the bands are great. I go almost every weekend, never disappointed, I absolutely love the atmosphere.
