First time visiting this coffeeshop. Ordered sweet houjicha mocha to go, but they ran out, so I went with Matcha Latte instead. Delicious 😋 and we got some lemon medeleines to go! Saw some people with laptops working, some catching up with friends. Busier than we thought for a Tuesday morning!

Google
Best coffee in southern Maine, the owners are experienced roasters who travel all over the world to source their beans and are so inedibly knowledgeable and friendly. Perfect spot to hole up for work or meet with friends as they’re open EVERY day. That’s right…every day. Plus, their toasts are delectable, especially the ricotta jam — not only are they a treat with locally made bread, but they’re healthy too. Don’t miss this hidden gem!!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A Perfect Brew and Bite at Time and Tide Coffee! If you're on the hunt for the ultimate coffee experience, look no further than Time and Tide Coffee. This cozy gem serves up a pistachio coffee that's nothing short of magical. The nutty richness combined with their expertly brewed coffee is a symphony for the taste buds. It's like sipping a hug in a mug! But wait, it gets better. Pair your coffee with their avocado toast, and you're in for a treat. It's a delightful mix of creamy avocado goodness on perfectly toasted bread, topped with just the right amount of seasoning. Each bite is a crunchy, savory delight that complements the smooth pistachio coffee perfectly. The atmosphere at Time and Tide is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax, work, or catch up with friends. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready with a smile. Whether you're a coffee connoisseur or just in need of a caffeine fix, this place is a must-visit. Don't miss out on this incredible combo – it's a taste adventure you won't forget!

I stopped by Time & Tide for the first time a few weeks ago, and I was definitely not disappointed! First of all, the branding is super cute and fun! The barista who helped me (I never caught his name!) was so friendly and welcoming and gave me some suggestions not only on what to drink, but of some things to do in the area since I just recently moved here. I got one of my go-to drinks, an iced quad shot oat milk maple latte, and it was one of the best I’ve had! I plan on being a regular here for sure! :)

2024 update: Time & Tide is still ticking. Pistachio cream's still good. The kaya custard toast is a nice snack, worth a try. I didn't get an espresso on its own this year, but the latte was smooth. Tasty coffee drinks in an inclusive shop. I sampled the pistachio cream latte, hot, and a shot on the side. The espresso was quite bright, a bit fruity, and strongly acidic - I suspect it was a light roast. The latte was predictably good. The New York City map on the wall was a curious choice, but neat decoration regardless. Great service. For those coming from away like I was, there's street parking along Main St, as well as on side streets in the surrounding blocks, and some public parking lots, but nothing dedicated to Time & Tide that I could see.

Google
Second time here, tried the pistachio cream latte its amazing! Never had anything like it and im addicted. I also met a wonderful person today who may have been the owner/barista and she showed me so much kindness I will not forget it! Go visit these awesome people if you like great coffee and supporting a lovely cat named Henry Jacob lol

Google
I am absolutely addicted to their coffee. They roast all their own blends and are dedicated to making some amazing drinks. I now have a hard time buying coffee from anywhere else.

Google
Small and quiet space, enjoyed the playlist while eating. I love a good, simple filling avocado toast. Coffee choices are unique and I ordered an iced coco mocha, the perfect level of strong and lightly sweet.

Yelp
Amazing food, would have thought it was Michelin star. Service was wonderful and the cafe is so clean and welcoming, as well as the cutest decor.

Yelp
Bold statement incoming: I would say that the iced pistachio latte ("made it vegan, just ask") with oat milk is one of the three best caffeinated drinks in the entire state of Maine. If you're a lover of pistachio - the actual nut (or ice cream) and not the artificial flavor of it - it's an absolute guarantee that you'll love this drink too. It's creamy, it's nutty, it's sweet without being too sweet. Perfection, really. I'm sorry it took me so long to finally try it - I just genuinely didn't think they could make it vegan. Not only can they, they also make it VERY CLEAR on their menu/signage at the register that they can. (I love places that are making it easier and more clear and more of a comfortable process for those of us who want to order plant-based. Thanks, Time & Tide) The staff here are really friendly people. Also not artificially so. I feel welcomed here! Granted, there's not a ton of space to sit in this minimalist decor café with your drink, but if you can grab a table/seat, you'll never be rushed onward. Also, just a plain cup of black coffee is good, good, good. As in: the next time I visit I'll probably buy a bag of their "thoughtfully roasted quality" coffee beans to bring home!

Yelp
Solid lattes. I have tried the pistachio cream lattes in hot and cold, as well as a hot lavender latte. All were good. My friend tried the Cocomocha latte and liked it. The store is nice and clean, the staff are nice. I have only gotten drinks to go, and it usually takes a few minutes but not too long. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town.

Yelp
I was on vacation in the area and decided to try this place. I found parking half a block away. The cafe is nice and open. I loved that there was a lot of pink in there. I ordered a pistachio latte I wanted to try something new. My husband got a vanilla latte. I asked the barista if the pistachio latte was sweet he said all the lattes were balanced. The cost was regular like every other coffee shop. I was pleasantly surprised the lattes were both very good and balanced. We had a really good experience. They definitely have great coffee definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

Yelp
Overall good experience, service was good. Lots of seating created a nice environment. Ordered the cold brew, which had a good initial flavor but lacked a strong aftertaste. Tasted more like an iced coffee than a cold brew.
google avatar

Priscilla M.

Yelp
I love the range of coffee and tea at this v cute cafe! There's definitely a theme going on, with less hustle & bustle but more of a bright and quiet space, with ample seating. I've never seen Saffron Lattes offered on a menu, so I had to try it. Unfortunately, the saffron did not really come through in my iced latte. It was still good nonetheless. I know this is almost common practice now or by law, and as cute as the pink and white striped paper straws are, they are so impractical. The hard plastic opening almost completely bent the paper straw after having the drink for a little bit, and I had to take the lid off to finish it.

Yelp
Amazing coffee and amazing service! The guy making coffee was incredibly helpful and super friendly! The coffee was unique and super smooth! We are so happy we stopped here!

Yelp
Simply one of the best coffee shops in Southern Maine. 10/10 on coffee and vibes! Their seasonal lattes are incredible, but their regular drip coffees are just as good. Every time I've gone to Time & Tide, I have been met by the kindest staff and the coziest vibes. They have plenty of seating, so finding a spot to read a book or catch up on work isn't difficult here. I've also had their avocado toast, and it is delicious. Time & Tide is welcoming and cute without being pretentious, which I look forward to in a coffee shop. If you're in Biddeford, definitely stop by.

Yelp
I have ordered BOTH, the Year One and, the Pink Bag, coffees and I'll reorder them again; such a FRESH, non-store, non-shelved taste!!
google avatar

Jen T.

Yelp
Perfectly (to my taste) brewed cold brew coffee. No extra needed but absolutely heavenly with some cream. Very friendly service in a bright clean space.
google avatar

Lizzy M.

Yelp
to die for: the lavender lattes and the cranberry biscotti. absolutely so cute inside, i love the light pink detailing to everything. it's a bit more outside downtown biddeford across from the mills but it's worth the walk for good coffee. Service was cafe style.
google avatar

Cameron N.

Yelp
Highly recommend trying a latte from this cute coffee shop. My friend and I spent a couple of hours in Biddeford, first at Palace Diner, then we explored a lighthouse, finally we stopped here. My latte was so delicious (Hazelnut Mocha). I thought it might be too sweet but it was honestly perfect and the milk was steamed to perfection as well. The barista was really kind and we enjoyed chatting about Biddeford.
google avatar

Haley P.

Yelp
AMAZING!!! Great service. So kind ... and the pistachio latte. Omg. I've never had anything like it. I had it in July and I still can't stop thinking about it. I even tried to recreate it at home to no avail. Idk how they do it but that is one of the best lattes in the world!! Dreaming of a pistachio latte right now
google avatar

Yelp
I have been dying to get down to Biddeford to try Time and Tide, and now that I finally have, I'm a big fan! The coffee shop itself is bright, minimalist, and welcoming. The baristas are friendly and down-to-earth, and the coffee is so good! I had a latte, and it did not disappoint! One really awesome thing to note - they have a terracycle box so you can recycle your empty coffee bags once you're done with them! I've never seen this in any coffee shop but it should be a requirement - other shops take note!! Such a simple action with a huge impact! A final thought - I love Time and Tide's pink lids :) this shop is one of a kind!
google avatar

Kamila J.

Yelp
Omg, their pistachio latte is spectacular!!! Drove there to try that famous latte and did not leave disappointed. It was right on point, very good latte, probably the best pistachio one I have had in my life.
google avatar

Yelp
You've heard the pistachio latte is the way to go and I say YES! Cold, hot.... Unbelievably good. You need it. Say hi to John and Brianna behind the counter who brought this place and their lives from Brooklyn 4 years ago and are happy to tell you all about what's new and good in town. While you need to try the flavored lattes, the coffee blends are also great (I prefer the Year One blend) and you can take a bag home. Great graphics and mugs. This place is a Must.
google avatar

Paulina S.

Yelp
Their PISTACHIO CREAM DRINKS are the best drinks I have had in my life. You can order it hot or cold. I prefer the cold version because you can taste the syrup more when it settles to the bottom. I was told the pistachio cream is vegan when ordered with oat milk. Must, must try.
google avatar

Cat M.

Yelp
Spontaneously stopped here on a road trip from Ohio. We got an iced maple latte and an iced pistachio cream latte. They are both delicious and I'm sad this will be my only chance to experience this coffee!! Vegan and lgbt friendly, my two favorite things :)
google avatar

Justin L.

Yelp
The avocado toast is the best!! Perhaps a couple of eggs and/or bacon would take it next level. Nice addition to the downtown Biddo area.
google avatar

Jaime K.

Yelp
Cinnamon maple oatmilk latte was good as hell and the place is bright, simple, and cute.
google avatar

Carol A.

Yelp
Two words: Pistachio Cream! We were making a quick pitstop in Biddeford to pick up some Branded Brewing beer for some friends and needed to kill some time before the brewery opened. My boyfriend wanted to get a coffee while we walked around and we stubbled upon Time & Tide. I'm so glad we did! The Pistachio Cream was beyond delicious. I'm not even a coffee drinker and I wanted to drink this up. The branding is also super cute as was the interior of this coffee shop (pink chairs, navy and pink theme).
google avatar

Jonathan E.

Yelp
Simple yet perfect! I absolutely love coffee shops like this where the focus on the quality & excellence of their craft. You may ask, "how do you tell?" The answer is simple! Just walk in the door, take a look around, look at the espresso machine (La Marzocco Linea 2 group), Compak grinder & Cube tamper(consistency) then order a Cortado and an espresso shot and enjoy each and every sip! Absolutely loved getting to talk to the owners about their roasting endeavors and trials of running a coffee shop. This has hands down been one of the best shops on our trip so far! Thank you for serving quality coffee! It has been the best on our entire trip so far(and we have visited quite a few shops)
google avatar

Stephanie T.

Yelp
Delicious seasonal lattes- quality espresso, perfect temperature, flavorful without being too sweet. Barista was friendly and helpful. We got the pistachio cream latte (their signature drink), maple spice latte, and an americano. Everyone was happy with their beverage.
google avatar

Bob C.

Yelp
Today was our first visit to Time and Tide and we will be back again and again! The cappuccinos were excellent! The locally made bread that was toasted with ricotta and jam was absolutely amazing! Simple quality ingredients elevated!

Valerie D.

Yelp
Yummy coffee, sparse seating. Was there on a date and had plenty of space and time. Yummy Avocado toast and Pistachio Cream Latte
google avatar

Jen S.

Yelp
So happy that I had time to stop into Time and Tide again a couple times this week - their outdoor sign reminding me of how amazing their pistachio latte is what drew me back in! Dammit, I am a local and I should have been more aware of this adorable and yummy coffee house. Excellent customer service always and great coffee. Limited seating in their airy and light seated area - very compliant with Covid regulations. If you are in the area, stop by. Defintely worth it. Spend your coffee dollars local instead of with big chains. Don't forget to tip your servers. It has been a rough year for all of us but especially hospitality industry staff.
google avatar

Divad S.

Yelp
Stick with the coffee (which really isn't very good) and forget trying to offer food.
google avatar

Dante C.

Yelp
This is such a cute little coffee shop. Delicious pistachio latte. Very accommodating during COVID and they even have a couple (like literally two) tables to sit inside. Also doing curbside and takeout. Try the pistachio latte!
google avatar

Beth G.

Yelp
Excellent coffee from awesome people! Their attention to detail is as evident in their roasts as it is in their adorable shop. Support small businesses like this! If you can't make it to Maine, you're in luck, they ship their beans!

Jenna W.

Yelp
One of the best lattes I have had in a long time. Try the saffron latte! Staff was also very kind and had some great knowledge of the coffee varieties.

Janet R.

Yelp
Found this place when in town on vacation, and in need of a better morning cup than provided where I was lodging. The reviews for Time and Tide were good, and justifiably so. I plan on returning for vacation next year, and will definitely visit T&T for my morning coffee!

Edridge D.

Yelp
Cozy vibe, drinks were served at perfect temperature to start drinking immediately, and the ricotta+jam toast was just right in terms of being filling while also providing a contrast of tastes
google avatar

Brittany P.

Yelp
Beautiful atmosphere, beautiful owners, beautiful coffee. Support this small business! The pastries are always fresh and taste great, and the coffee is the best around. If you've only tasted Dunkin Donuts style "coffee", you should try this place and wow your taste buds!
google avatar

Violette B.

Yelp
Cold Brew is exceptional, you can drink it black it doesn't need anything else. The chai had a great mix of spices and was on the sweeter side. The space is open and clean with a "California cool" vibe, happy to have this place in Biddeford!
google avatar

Gladys M.

Yelp
I've been here 3 times now. The 1st time I walked up to the door looked in & turned around and left because it looked so bare in there. Just one person sitting in the window who looked to be working. The 2nd time I thought what the heck I need to taste their coffee regardless of how the place looks. I had a cold brew and it was very good. Smooth and just the right amount of kick. The 3rd time I had an iced latte with oat milk. This wasn't as good as the cold brew. It gave me heartburn and was too strong for my liking. Now back to the decor. It does not have an inviting feel. It's a big empty room with a few wood & metal chairs. It's not the place that you want to sit & enjoy your coffee.
google avatar

Anna L.

Yelp
I'm glad Time and Tide opened up here because it's a nice, chill and relaxing space to enjoy some coffee, read or just chat with friends. I got a cortado and my husband got a filtered coffee. Both were pretty tasty. I like that their menu is simple, staying true to specialty coffee. There is a small selection of pastries made from a local bakery. We tried the blueberry muffin, tasted kinda healthy, maybe made with whole wheat flour. Might be nice to have something to heat up the pastries. We came here on a Saturday morning, there were not many people but I can imagine this place would be filled with students and locals once the holidays are over. However, there is something nice about it not being as loud/distracting/heavily foot trafficked like it gets at Elements sometimes. Seating wise, there are plenty of small tables, and also window seating with high bar stools (perfect for those who like standing tables). I enjoyed reading Time and Tide's website, it allows us to learn about the owners (a couple), their passion for coffee, and appreciate their efforts to source their beans from farmers/farms they actually have relationships with. They also have cupping classes, which my husband is quite excited about! I believe their first one is on Jan 10. We would definitely be back for more coffee!
google avatar

Sydney W.

Yelp
Time and tide is among my favorite coffee spots. Everything is high quality and the pastries and coffee are great! I enjoy spending some time doing homework in this newly renovated shop on Biddeford's bustling Main Street. Owners are great, location is great, products are great!

Dee S.

Yelp
My favorite coffee shop in southern Maine! The Year One blend is so smooth, easy on your stomach, deliciously rich and yummy. The baked goods are wonderful, and the avocado toast is delicious. All locally sourced ingredients, and the owners, Briana and John, are friendly and kind. They give back to the community and we're so happy to have them in Biddeford!
google avatar

Chrysanthi L.

Yelp
My partner just picked me up a pistachio latte from here... incredible! Absolutely willing to pay $5 for this latte.

Holly A.

Yelp
I absolutely LOVE this coffee spot! The space is dreamy, modern, and filled with natural light. If it's your first time there you have to try their (original) iced pistachio latte - it's by far the best one you can get. Their bagged coffee is always super fresh and brews a nice cup at home. 10/10!

Alexandra C.

Yelp
Hidden Gem! Great coffee and atmosphere. Muffins fresh and hearty. Consistent each time I came here.
google avatar

Kelsie S.

Yelp
Incredible coffee. I go for an iced pistachio latte. The interior design of the business pulls you in, and the delicious coffee sets you up for a great day. I look forward to my days in Biddeford knowing they may involve a time & tide coffee trip.
google avatar

Liz M.

Yelp
Really really good hot coffee and cold brew. Also have some sweet and savory pastries available. And they don't charge extra for oat milk! Nicest owner. Highly recommend checking it out!

Phoebe D.

Yelp
We were staying locally for a while and this was our go-to coffee spot. Great coffee and locally baked cookies - they had ANZAC cookies, so for an Australian in the states I was stoked - and staff were super chilled. Will definitely recommend this place to friends in the area! Get an oat milk cappuccino.
google avatar

Lanie B.

Yelp
My mocha was delicious. Others in my group liked their cappuccino and decaf coffee. The shop was clean and bright. WiFi is available.
google avatar

Chase W.

Yelp
I have found my new home! This place is so unique with amazing staff! I was in there once a couple days ago with my grandfather and we both got a decaf coffee (it was late in the afternoon) and it was the best decaf coffee I have ever had!!! They craft this using an americano method with decaf espresso beans and my grandfather and I both loved it!!! I'll definitely be back in the mornings to do my school work!
google avatar

Jainy L.

Yelp
Great coffee and atmosphere. Pleasant staff. Clean and simple environment. Go give them a try definitely worth it if you enjoy yummy coffee.

Laura F.

Yelp
Great coffee and perhaps the best avo toast I've ever had, and I eat a lot of avo toast!

Erica L.

Yelp
Wow! Friendly and knowledgeable owners who live locally. I bought the Guatemala to make at home. As I sip my first cup, I write this review to say ... I am so glad I walked in yesterday! The coffee is delectable and I appreciate all of the tips and recommendations i received while there.
