Sake Rok’s Sung Park shares his favorite Las Vegas restaurants | Eater Vegas

"A family-friendly breakfast spot with playful decor that appeals to young children; the food is familiar and comforting enough that a toddler enjoys it, and the staff are consistently described as super friendly." - Susan Stapleton

My family and I met here for breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The menu has a Mexican inspiration which I appreciate while still finding standards on the menu such as pancakes and American breakfasts. I enjoyed the migas while there. The service was standard. The location is convenient for far west Omaha and surroundings. If you are in the area, give them a try!

This is my favorite breakfast place in Elkhorn! I order the chilaquilies with asada every time. They make it spicy for me and it's sooooo good! Love a good Mexican American breakfast joint. It reminds me of breakfast places back home in California. Super yummy. Always leave full and happy!

Ordered food for four people. I received a text the food was ready, once I arrived the food was not ready. I had to wait 5 minutes, no big deal. I got home, checked my order it was missing items. Additionally I only had one plastic knife and fork and one butter and one syrup. I was missing an order of pancakes. I called, the clerk was new and did not know how to look up my order and was laughing. She said she was going to pass the phone to someone who knew what to do. I explained the situation all they offered was a refund. They did not offer to replace the food. Mind you this is my first experience with this restaurant so I’m expecting good customer service. I explained the situation abd told her I only received one butter one syrup, she ignored all that and said the money will be on my card by the end of next week. The food was not great either, but the customer service was horrific, especially since they overlooked items on the order I paid extra for. Will not be returning. Paid over $50 for these meals too

We got the chorizo skillet! It was really good! Perfect blend of spices. Egg yolk running over jalapeños was so good! And also it came with pancakes. Really good deal for the plate. We will be going back. Excellent service. our waitress was perfect!

Really unfortunate brunch place, one of few that are actually in Elkhorn. The older lady who served us was rude and abrasive immediately, even though there was nobody else in the restaurant and hours until close (and it was just my mom and I). The food was subpar at best. Hash browns were bland, sausage links weren’t very good, biscuits and gravy may have well been from a free hotel breakfast buffet; biscuits were crumbly and cheap, the gravy was bland. Chicken fried steak was good, without the gravy on top - the only thing frozen then fried entree we had, so not even prepared in-house. Overall a sucky place and wouldn’t recommend it. Would’ve been better off at IHop or Denny’s.

Cute place with not a lot of tables. I really enjoyed it. Got a skillet with toast and coffee. My sister enjoyed a traditional eggs and bacon and hash browns and we shared a cinnamon roll. Pretty good!

This is my “go to” place for breakfast. I always order the “Mexican” breakfasts. They are always flavorful, healthy, and “thier” take on these breakfast dishes. You can’t go wrong.

My husband and I split two entrees for breakfast this morning. We love supporting local and love the restaurants that are part of the Javi’s (Tacos) family! We have some pros and cons to share our take from this morning. Things we loved: the menu is full of variety, staff is kind and helpful, wait was only 15-20 mins despite it being packed on a busy Sunday morning. We got the Chorizo Skillet and the Churro Pancakes. The flavor in both the chorizo and the special churro pancake batter were great! We both thought the Chorizo Skillet was by far the better of the two dishes and will be ordering that again when we return. Things that could be even better: the toppings on the Churro Pancakes were sparse and left them pretty dry. We added syrup of course but we were hoping for more of the caramel, cinnamon sugar, and whipped crème to make them stand out as a real differentiator from the regular pancakes. The portion size of the Churro Pancakes also seemed a bit small for the price (although we get inflation is a thing). That being said, we enjoyed our experience this morning and will be going back! We love supporting local and are grateful to have a breakfast/brunch spot in this part of town that we can count on for quality food. Go out and show them your support!
