Chef Gray Kunz of Lespinasse Dies at Age 63 | Eater

"Opened as the chef’s post‑Lespinasse New York project in 2004 at the Time Warner Center and closed by 2008, this restaurant represented his effort to translate his exacting standards and international sensibility into a more contemporary venue; later iterations of the concept were helm‑led in Asia, with locations in Shanghai and Hong Kong while he was working with a hotel group there. Though shorter lived than his earlier enterprise, the venture continued his trajectory of high‑profile restaurant work and was part of the late‑career phase that some critics and peers viewed as under‑appreciated." - Amanda Kludt

Definitely a cool spot. I love their seasonal decorations! There are plenty of restaurant and retail shops to choose from. I visited bad Roman and had a cool experience. Dinner was tasty and the vibe was lovely. I also visited shake shack on a different occasion

I need your opinion. I was just assaulted, but not injured in the lobby of time warner center after shopping at Whole Foods. A 20 something Latino man was beating a woman and I yelled to break it up. He released her and turned on me. I screamed for police and saw a security guard come with a walkie-talkie. The guard said nothing as the man hit my arm and grabbed my phone as I tried to get his picture. The guard stood a few feet behind him but never called for help The man threatened me and then threw my phone on the ground and walked out. I screamed for the guard to detain him, he'd assaulted me and a woman, but he just looked at me. I said he assaulted me and grabbed my phone. All he said was where is your phone now? And pointed to my hand. I took HIS picture and got his name. Now I'm at work giving vaccinations and shaking. I don't think calling their security office would do any good, but wonder if they have video to identify the guy and TWO assaults? What do you think I should do? Call 911???? Thanks I called 911, got a callback from Officers who told me I'd been given to the wrong precinct. They said I'd have to reach out to the 18th Precinct to file a complaint. I also wrote the company on their website. No response yet. I doubt I'll file the report because I have so much to do. I figure that thug will get arrested for something else soon enough. But SHAME on THE DO NOTHING SECURITY! . Pic of Guard, Ariel Sanchez

Upscale mall on the South-western corner of Central Park at Colombus Circle. Has a range of specialist and clothing stores and a number of cafes and casual dining restaurants. It's well kept and clean. A useful place to find a rest room in that corner of the city or just to escape from the busy streets for a while.

The Deutsche Bank Center, formerly known as the Time Warner Center, is one of best works by the late David Childs (1941-2025) of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, who also designed One World Trade Center. Following the curve of Columbus Circle, the building is very mindful of its built environment. It's twin towers complete the vista along Central Park South.

Had a great opportunity to go through the building that replaced the old Coliseum building of my NYC youth when you made it down to 59th Street via the D Train. This is definitely a mini mall with higher end bistros and restaurants for those who are moving in an upwardly pattern in regards to your income level. Now as a tourist spot with views of Central Park looking east gives it some added value along with housing the Jazz at Lincoln Center Theater. So if you are a visitor to the city or looking to have an experience before heading up to the West Side the stop by the Deutsche Bank Center!

I really enjoyed discovering this place. I am not new to new york but sometimes when you visit a place enough you seem to always have spirit places to go....so Columbus circle and this location wasn't one i used to go to. But now that I discovered it i will. I like the assortment of stores and food choices 😋 the giant windows that show the statue and greenery of central park makes it feel airy. We had a bite at Tartiner and it was nice and not too noisy. All in all a good visit.

Had lunch at Porter House Grille on the 4th floor. Excellent place. Great service, friendly staff, and terrific ambiance. The food was excellent. You must go there at least once and decide for yourself.

Yelp
Beautiful new building for Deutsche Bank, who moved from their 60 Wall HQ - the old building. This building is the former Time Warner Center, and they renovated to be gorgeous, high ceilings and plants, lots of collaboration spaces and more. While it's not connected to the mall below, they have a great view of Central Park from one of the balconies, and they have client events here. No DB retail bank here, though. Ironically there's a different bank, First Republic, downstairs in the mall area. Entry is on 58th between 8th and 9th Avenues.
