Wonderful experience! Love the new addition to Morningside! The staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere was very inviting. Our server most definitely made the experience top-notch! She was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable of the menu. The starters were VERY delicious, so make sure you don't overlook them! The beer is inexpensive, and they have housemade sodas. The pizzas have very tasty, unique ingredients. Very delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant, and I will most definitely be heading back to Timone's!

I live a walk away from Timone's, and have had a great experience every time I've gone. Their breakfast is INCREDIBLE, and very reasonably priced (bowl with grits, cheese, tomato, bacon for $4.50, delicious sandwiches for $6.) I usually opt for a sandwich instead of a pizza from there, but have never had something offputting. I'd recommend the reuben or clam pie. They've got a great patio out back with cheap PBR on tap if the Fam Dog is way crowded too.

Not only did they run out of dough once- it's now been several occassions. They were also out of garlic knots, sausage, meatballs, goat cheese, and pesto. Usually I'd give a new restaurant some slack but the manager was rude and defensive asking why we didn't come earlier (we got there at 7:45 but had to wait an hour). Then when I tweeted them about the experience, one of the owners responded with "always happy to be reminded that we are horrible failures. have a good weekend" --- incredibly condescending considering they've just opened and should want people to come back and bring their friends. We were actually going to give it another try until we got that message back. I know they've got some other good restaurants but to be so openly pretentious is absurd. Now to the food. We obviously didn't have pizza, but I got the chicken parm sandwich- like the other reviewer said, it was too light on marinara and was very bland in general. Baked ziti was alright, spicy. Spaghetti was good. Good craft beers and draft wines. We were satisfied but not shouting from the rooftops. Oh, speaking of the rooftops, we sat outside and saw roaches crawling on the walls and ceiling- luckily we had finished eating.

Was only patron at the bar with 2 other tables on a Saturday afternoon. The owner came in and said "this is a f-ing waste of time." Also heard that employees checks get bounced.. Great chicken parm sandwich though.

The sauce on the pizza is exceptional... pizza is good minus the burnt crust... the ceasar salad was all white (looked like head lettuce ($8.50)... the service was terrible... The restaurant is trying to take pizza to a high class restaurant feel. Everything is overpriced - the product is real decent, and the service is snobbish and poor. This was a lunch experience and it was empty - but on that note the service should be impecable... Another over the top is soda comes in a 8 ounce coke bottle.... really? What toppedthe experience off the rude sign at the porch entrance saying to only enter the front is way over the top... the majority of your parking is IN the rear... get over yourselves and welcome customers where ever they come from... I give you a couple months of being opened... seriously...
