Timoti's Seafood Shak

Timoti's has never disappointed us. Their food is incredible and they offer a few really delicious healthy options. The pirate ship playground is something my almost 3 year old son always talks about. The service today is above and beyond, especially today, which is what prompted the review (although I should have already done one). Rita and every staff member with her today between 2-3pm were so kind, helpful, and it was easy to see they wanted to provide a welcoming atmosphere. Thank you for being so great!

Stopped by after a morning at the beach. We used to live in South Florida and miss the small seafood joints. My son ordered the blackened fish basket and paid for upgrade to mahi. Came with fries, coleslaw and hush puppy. Fish was fresh but portion was small and could have used more seasoning for $18. Fries were well seasoned and crispy. Hush puppy was very good. I ordered the blackened fish sandwich, I forgot to ask for upgrade so was swai or tilapia, had almost no flavor and the house sauce looked good but also lacked flavor. I like the vibe of the place but service at the counter was lacking. Was trying to find someone to ask for salt and ended up having to walk up to the kitchen counter.

Yeah those are real photos of the food here!! It is delicious. It is one of our favorites places to stop in Florida. My favorite is the Baja box, but my wife loves the salad box with blackened salmon added. My son ordered chicken fingers, but when we pulled up, he said “You didn’t tell me we were going here”. I ordered him an extra blackened salmon since that is his favorite. I highly recommend the mango tea as well. Staff is also very nice. They have a playground outsides which I think is very thoughtful. Great job here!

First time and WOW! I love the casual vibe and how customizable everything is! I got the Baja rice box with blackened flounder and everything was very fresh! I will definitely be back!! Only sad part is there’s not a Timotis near me. TIL next time!

I usually love going to the nocatee location .. tonight. Not so much . Ordered all my meals to go . All fried . I guess my fault for not opening up each individual box .... but I ordered all fried and got grilled ... Kids won't eat grilled fish . Ill chalk it up to a bad night but I never have to recheck my order before leaving and now I'll have to each time . Frustrating Update : went back tonight to try again . I opened ever box in store to make sure it was entered correctly. Ok looks good . Salad was really packed . Great start. The tuna bowl double tuna definitely did not look like double tuna . Tuna was off colored and tasted funky/fishier than it should . Husband threw out his meal because of it. I'm really losing faith in a place that became a favorite ..

We love Timoti’s!!!! The food is delicious. One of our new favorite finds! We usually get the blackened fish basket. The chicken fingers are delicious, too! It is kid friendly with a small playground for the kids and a large patio. A must try!!

It wasn’t expensive, BUT the portions were soooo small! I ordered the rice box and the chicken protein was the tiniest piece of chicken I’ve ever been served. Both my husband and I were still hungry afterward and I’m on Ozempic, so that says a lot about how little food it was. The kids’ boat also wasn’t in the shade, which I didn’t love either.

Came here for lunch on June 16, 2022 and I am so glad this restaurant came up on my Google maps list as it was absolutely delicious, a clean and bright restaurant, with super friendly and helpful staff. Everything is cooked to order and came out both hot and fast. The portion sizes were huge, so you really do get a great value for the money, and you won't leave hungry! One of the surprising stars on the tray were the hush puppies... fried perfectly crisp and golden on the outside, and light fluffy and not greasy at all on the inside. I also appreciated the unsweetened iced tea selections!

While sitting at Timoti's Seafood Shak in Ponte Vedra, I asked if the fans on the patio could be turned off. It was already overcast and windy, and the extra wind from the fans was making it difficult to enjoy our meal--my grandson's food was even blowing around, and I had to keep catching it from tumbling over. The manager told me she would have the line cook handle it since she was too short to reach the switch herself. Unfortunately, after waiting 45 minutes and seeing our waitress come out to the patio twice, nothing was done. I left very disappointed with the lack of response and poor customer service.

The fish was inedible. Tasted old and was very tough. I threw it out. For the prices they were very cheap with the shrimp which was very small. They forgot to give me my 3rd side. We have lived in the area over a decade. We were around when they opened. The quality is very poor compared to when it opened. We will not eat here again. So disappointed.

Love it! I ate here with my entire family 5 adults, 2 kids (one vegan) while visiting from out of town. Everyone left full and happy. They are quick and easy to order and have quite a few options aside from your typical seafood. I loved the tofu taco! Outdoor picnic tables make dining casual for the whole family and playground for the kids!

A solid 4! Brought the family for the family friendly atmosphere. We got salmon, burrito, tacos, and chicken tenders. My son ate all his salmon and my daughter ate most of her tenders. Fries were good. My tacos were a little bland/dry, and the chicken had an interesting texture. My husband also felt like his burrito was a little bland/dry. We asked for some sauces which helped. I got an order of the hush puppies and I was disappointed they were overdone on the outside, but they still tasted ok. The outdoor pirate ship is great but wow the music was so loud. We didn't want to go outside it hurt our ears, honestly. We would go back when there isn't music and try something different.

I live in the area and have been going here since it opened. Tonight was the last time. I get the same thing every time and it is nothing like what it was. My rice box was nothing but rice and 5 salad shrimps that tasted fishy.

We came in for a late Veteran's Day lunch. This is a fast casual restaurant in which you order and pay at a counter and they bring your meal to you. Their menu is posted on the wall and clearly describes each item they offer. We opted to try a couple cups of their soups: clam chowder and seafood stew. The chowder was thick enough to be a dip and was loaded with potatoes and clam. The stew was a bit spicy in a tomato base. We also shared a shrimp po'boy and tuna taco. The po'boy had large slices of tomato, fresh lettuce, and plenty of grilled shrimp. The roll was fresh and added to the sandwich. The taco had large chunks of poke style tuna. It could have used some more salsa. The staff were friendly. However, the service was slow. It took 25 minutes from order to food delivery. Alcohol is available. Bottled beer was cool -not cold.

Had a great experience this past Saturday at this establishment. I have been here a few times and wanted to give a shout out to Manager Brent who helped us with our ordering and provided us with excellent customer service. Every time we have been to this location we find the food to be fresh and delicious. They offer 3 different options for their fish and shrimp. Blackened, grilled or fried which all three options I've tried are amazing. Their food tastes wonderful as they frequently change the oils in the fryer vacs and all food items are nicely presented In a disposable food basket. The seating area is spacious and the ambiance of welcoming. Always a great spot to grab a bite to eat. Prices are very reasonable comparatively to other restaurants in its location.

Everything is always fresh and fast. Love this spot for quick lunch or dinner but also healthy

The service and quality has been going downhill for awhile. The teenagers and staff never get it right. How come I never get tartar sauce with my fish entree for take out?!!

Timoti's is a great option for a meal when you're in the Nocatee area. It's simple fare: shrimp baskets, po' boys, salads, and some sandwiches, with a few drink specials. Order at the counter and then grab a seat inside or outside. I love the open patio. It's perfect for families with young kids as there is a contained area and a pirate ship play structure to keep them entertained while waiting. Prices are reasonable for fresh seafood, and quality is always good.

The food is always amazing, no matter what we get. Our favorites are the chopped salad , which has feta, fresh beets, figs with blackened fresh fish on top with a side of grilled shrimp. We also really like the poké bowl .

It's a good thing that my wife and I do intermittent fasting or we would have been hangry with lunch today. Man , we waited an hour to get our food and by the time they arrived, it was 2:30 in the afternoon. They're not even short staffed. We ordered the following: *Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl - the cup it came in looked like an ice cream cup and it's mostly rice inside. *Grilled chicken rice bowl - same goes here. Mostly rice and the chicken inside was big enough for a kids meal. *Fried Mahi taco - the best out of the three. Definitely not worth the price we paid for that meal. We came out of there still hungry and ended up getting a couple of hotdogs and an empanada at Gate gas station to satisfy our hunger.

Came in for a quick and healthy lunch. My group ordered a few grilled shrimp tacos and everything was tasty and fresh. Huge portions! Nice atmosphere!

We always look forward to coming here. Nice staff and great, fresh seafood. The pirate ship is fun for the kids and creates a good atmosphere.

They always have amazing food, service, and portions. There is always enough for left overs for me. I will say my hush puppies were a little bit more cooked then I like, this go around, but weren't burnt.

This meets the definition of a fast casual seafood restaurant. You order at the counter and get a number, then your food is delivered to you either inside or outside. They have seafood baskets with shrimp, fish or clams, accompanied by fries and slaw. They also have several sandwiches, including fish, crab cakes and a shrimp po boy, my favorite.

i got the fresh catch sandwich with mahi! the mahi was absolutely delicious but i didn't love what was in the rest of it. food came out within 10 minutes. we sat outside and it was peaceful. there were a lot of birds flying around but everything was still clean!

The grouper with hush puppies was amazing. Very fresh and perfectly cooked. The hush puppies had a bit of red peppers and jalapeños and were made of white cornmeal. The NE clam chowder and lobster roils? Well let's say we are not in Boston. The coleslaw was not fresh. They were very busy with carryout and the outside picnic tables full. Not having inside dining yet.

Friendly staff and quick service. I got the clam chowder, a little thicker than the New England version I'm used to, but still quite delicious. Fish is cooked to your liking whether blackened, fried or grilled. There are many sides to choose from beyond the traditional hush puppies and fries. I opted for the black beans and cucumber salad with hush puppies. I could finish them all.

OMG! Love this place absolutely have all kinds of delicious dishes and so GOOD and all and the atmosphere is so peaceful calming and relaxing and peaceful and wonderful place and staff is so kind caring loving and welcoming and and your order comes fast and it is AWESOME and BEST SERVICE EVER and and tell everyone your employees best friends family neighbors and this is the boom and spectacular and such a lovely place and IT IS AWESOME AND WONDERFUL and feels so relaxing and i can come here everyday if I could seriously come with anyone the food is fresh and delicious refreshing and staff rocks everything is fast easy smooth and completely fantastic and plus it is clean and sanitized and wonderful and perfect and most perfection and plus they have bar for alcoholic you drink there anytime at the bar at the restaurant and come anytime for dinner and lunch and etc and everything is awesome and perfect and just fantastic and you love this place perfection and everything you asked for in a restaurant and and nice bathrooms Nothing at all is disappointing and made my day and happy and and will make you happy trust me go go and have fun and enjoy ur self and relax and nice calming environment and for all ages and plus beautiful has some history and for it try it and you so pumped happy and come back again and I promise you and it is not that far away in Nocatee and the meal comes in cute boxes and you get ur own drinks at a soda and drink fountain area and has everything for you and etc and plus just everything you can ASK FOR OMG! This was a Fantastic first time experience here at Timoti's and I will definitely be back! Alex greeted us at the counter, he explained how it works by ordering our food, grabbing our number, seating ourselves and they bring our food and drinks to us. We asked all kinds of questions, not only did he know his job, but he was able to describe dishes and suggestions in detail. We placed our order, Alex handed us our number, we grabbed our seats outside and within a reasonable time our food was brought out and served fresh & hot.  We had a delicious juicy shrimp taco, of which they were not skimpy on the shrimp at all. We also had a savory blackened fish sandwich with a good amount of fish and fries. Alex's knowledge and helpfulness clearly made a positive impression. Plus, a clean and bright atmosphere makes this a place worth coming back to!

I love this place. It was not what I expected at all! I have gone to Treylor Park several times and always looked at Timotis from across the way and thought it was a fancy place, I am not sure why I just did, so when someone suggested we go there for lunch, I thought, "Oh OK sheeshee!", but went anyway. I was pleasantly surprised that it was much more casual than I expected and way more delicious. It is a walk up to the counter and order kind of place with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The kid got a basket of chicken tenders and I got fried shrimp basket.We honestly could have shared the fries it was so plentiful. The shrimp was unbelievably flavorful, cooked perfectly and she really enjoyed her chicken tenders. I didn't want to try them because I was afraid she'd want my shrimp! I wasn't sharing!! Really good spot. Looking forward to heading back. Oh they also have a full bar!

Great casual seafood & a favorite of my kids because if the playground. The rice box, crab burger and shrimp are some of our go-to's. We love the Ponte Vedra location for indoor and outdoor seating options. Amelia Island location is just as tasty but less seating options.

Visited the Nocatee location last time for the first time. I've been to the one in Five Points in the past and I was a bit underwhelmed! The decor and restaurant was very nice and super clean, so they get a 5 stars for that. However, the portion sizes were small in contrast with the large portions served at their other location. We had the catch of the day, blacked Corvina, which was very well cooked, seasoned and tasty. I wish I got more of it for the price, though! My daughter had the tuna taco and the mahi taco, while they were tasty, there was not a lot of fish in them and the taco was super saucy, which made it impossible to eat as a hand-held item. The kids chicken tenders were ok, not bad, but not excellent either. They do get a 4 stars for the nice outdoor play structure that resembles a boat, kids loved paying in it, and provides parents a nice break to enjoy the grub. Overall a nice experience, and food tasted very good, I suggest adjusting the portion sizes, will definitely be back to enjoy a drink on the patio, while the kids play.

This place has gone down hill. I ordered the kids flounder and it was two pieces of skin, no fish. I also ordered the Salmon Baja Box and since the kids flounder was not edible I shared my meal with my 2yr old daughter (yes she's had salmon before and never an issu). Later that night we both were up puking all night and next morning. Absolutley won't be back nor recommend that you go!

Very good fast food seafood. It's a chain of restaurants but reliable consistent food

Came to Timoti's for a casual dinner with friends and was not disappointed. The place had a nice feel to it. You order at the front and then they bring your food to your table. We had a party of six and had no issues with food being mixed up and were able to keep just one number for the whole party. They also had a nice bar to order from if you end up changing your mind on a drink after you have already ordered food. They even had my favorite draft from South Florida the Floridian by Funky Buddha . Our food came out fairly quickly which was great. I did have a hard time deciding on what to order since they had a lot that sounded great but I had to end up going with the Fresh Catch Mahi Sandwich Blackened. For $10.99 it was a little pricey since it didn't come with a side but the freshness was 100% there. The fish was very moist and the blackening seasoning had just the right amount of kick without over powering the fish. I would suggest trying their Bam-Bam sauce which was great. It's somewhat similar to a Remoulade sauce but better in my opinion. Ashley had the Shrimp Tacos Blackened and a side of the Hush Puppies. The Shrimp Taco we're loaded with toppings and became a fork and knife meal fairly quickly. She did end up saying that she wished she had gotten them fried instead. The Hush Puppies were also good and had pieces of peppers and possibly jalapeños in them too. Make sure to try them in the Bam-Bam Sauce. You won't regret it. Though the serving is only 3, I would have liked to have at least 4 for the price. All and all nice local seafood restaurant in the area. They even had a wooden ship playground for the kids. We will for sure be returning since there is still a lot that needs to be tasted.

The bowls are great. We go here every time we visit our daughters family in Nocatee. I always try the drinks in front by the cashier.

It's like seafood fast food. Nothing really special. Good place for kids. Seating good. A little dirty because tables and chairs aren't regularly cleaned between customers.

I love this place! Food is always fresh and delicious. Easygoing chill vibe. I love trying their daily specials and everything I've had has been so yummy! Shrimp tacos are incredible, full of a multitude of flavors and textures, cilantro sauce on top is heavenly. Lobster rolls were so good and mostly lobster, but a little small for a full meal. Baja box is my go to with grilled shrimp, love that you can choose what kind of seafood you want on it and how you want it prepared. (Choose grilled, fried, or blackened.) My son loves the chicken strips basket and my daughter enjoys the fish basket. Coleslaw and Fries are excellent in the baskets. You even get hush puppies. Try this place, you'll love it!

We used to frequent this spot because they had a cute little Noah's Arc playground for the kids, also because they do serve a selection of wines and sangrias/beers. But the food seems to have 'fallen off the beaten path'. not sure if there was a change in management or something else. then you layer on COVID and we just sooner visit the other restaurants in the Town Center. Lots more competition now, especially with Greenwise across the street that does offer a wine and beer bar with great made on premise/ready made seafood and such. Still, this remains a popular spot because location location location....

If you are looking for a good place for friend fish or shrimp this is the place to be. Whether it's the catch of the day or the flounder that comes with the meal, Timoti's doesn't disappoint. The hush puppies are homemade and the best I have ever tasted. Grab some of their special Bam Bam sauce and a picnic table outside, makes for a great day!

I have eaten here two times in the past week. I had the Baja bowl with shrimps bf the poke bowl. The Baja bowl is so fresh and filling. It feels healthier than a lot of quick food in the area. The only compliant I have with the poke bowl is too much rice. I would recommend going here. I can't wait to go back and try some of their cocktails.

Had high hopes when ordering takeout from here, but was rather disappointed. The clam chowder is more of a soup. There was no cream in it, whatsoever. I double checked the menu for photos to see if perhaps I was given something else by mistake, but that didn't appear to be the case. To begin the meal this way not what I'd expected. It wasn't all bad, though, as the shrimp basket (fried) was divine and generous. Dipping sauces are great, as well. It's a damn shame the clam chowder left much to be desired, but you can stick to the baskets and really get a great meal!

Perfect to get a quick bite with the family. Good to have another place to grab some food for the family especially on weekdays. Food is a little salty for me. Overall, it is a good addition to restaurant selection in Nocatee.

Always great food, friendly service and served promptly! When our kids visit from Illinois and Texas, it is a must visit for the Oyster basket! Yummy! Kids meals are excellent!

Food can range from decent to inconsistent. We have had shrimp there that was not fresh and tasted off. Other than that it's a nice place local in Nocatee.

I've been wanting to try this place for some time and finally got the chance. Hubby and I happened to be in the area & stopped by to have lunch here one beautiful day. We ordered and paid at the counter and when ready they brought our food to our table. We chose to sit outside since the weather was perfect. I ordered the clam strips basket with hush puppies, fries & cole slaw & hubby ordered the shrimp po boy. Everything tasted delicious. My clams were perfectly cooked. The batter had the perfect crisp & was not greasy. The hush puppies were just as good. It had great flavor and not bland. The cole slaw was a perfect compliment with the seafood. It was creamy & the cabbage gave it a perfect crunch. We will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu.

This is a great place to take little kids. There are plenty of options for picky eaters, and even a big wooden ship for kids to play on outside. The outside patio is lovely. As for the food and drinks; some things are excellent, but some things need a little improvement. Every time I have eaten here, the hush puppies are a bit burnt and dry. Today I ordered the special drink of the day, which was a "smashed blackberry gin". I though it would literally have blackberries smashed in my drink, but instead it was blackberry syrup in gin. It tasted horrible. It was one of the worst drinks I've ever had. It tasted exactly like the cough syrup your mom makes you drink when you're sick as a kid. Just awful. I don't think I'll try any of their cocktails ever again. I do really like their iced tea though! And their lobster roll. I like the way they fry their fish. It's perfectly light and flaky. Excellent taste and texture.

The food was good but very much a fast food restaurant of seafood. The decor is nice. If you are looking for a quick meal that has decent seafood this is your jam.

Favorite takeout spot, food is usually pretty good. Tonight I learned that I need to check my order before I leave. I ordered a Baja Box with the fish special grilled, adding the usual tip,. What I got was the fish special fried without the usual avocado, and other trimmings. Cold. Somebody else's leftover order?

Finally music Thursday through Sunday love it... not only can kids have fun at the ark!! So can grown ups . Love it

The seafood tasted so fresh. And the service was very efficient even though they were quite busy.

I had been to the Riverside location before And remembered how good the seafood was, so when I saw there was one in Nocatee, I decided to try it out one day for lunch. It was easy to walk up and look at the menu before ordering, and it wasn't super busy during lunch, so the wait wasn't long. I ordered the rice bowl with blackened shrimp and took a number to wait for take out. It was reasonably priced, around $10-$11. I waited a little bit, but when I was given my food, the woman gave it to me with a smile. I ate my lunch back at the office, and it was really good! It wasn't super heavy and there was plenty to fill me up. I thought it tasted great and will have to go back soon.
