"The hearty, filling, and very un-Mexico-City-like tacos at this bustling downtown taqueria keep party-goers satiated in between club hopping. Of note: the beefy “Tacosaurus” with ground beef, Jack cheese, and crushed Doritos served on a parmesan-crusted taco shell, and the al pastor with pineapple pico de gallo and mango-pineapple vinaigrette. Bonus: It’s open until 3 a.m." - Faiyaz Kara

SerpAPI
The food was amazing! I loved the different selections that you can not get at your average taco restaurant. I totally recommend the Tin Nachos, and the Mac Attack Taco. They both were super flavorful and delicious. I asked them some questions about what would be best based off the things I like and they were spot on. The have their own sodas as well. I like the lemon berry açaí drink was so good, so amazing! 🙌🏾

Came after the Chelsea/arsenal game. Got the in the bag option and it did not disappoint! Got some side tacos that were first too. So many options, I love it. Best food I had while in Orlando. Get there early I'd you can, people know it's fire. Will return for sure.

SerpAPI
Delicious tacos! It's a walk up an order style restaurant. I said we never have been in before, and she helped steer us to some of the best tacos I've had in a while. Tacos came out fast and hot. Tin and Taco is a great place to stop when in the area, and I know I'll be back.

SerpAPI
It’s a small taco place in downtown Orlando. The staff were nice. You place and order and eat. There was a line to order. The menu has lot of options. The meat and flavors were nice but the tortilla was ok. A decent place to go.

SerpAPI
Bring your appetite, these tacos are seriously filling. Not a Mexican inspired flavor in here, so if that's what you're looking for, forget it. This is a menu that will surprise your taste buds in the best way possible. Highly recommend the Mac n cheese taco and the tacosaurus!

SerpAPI
Tin and Taco is THE place to go for awesome food! The prices are great in comparison to the portions. I got a burrito which was ridiculous in size! The downtown nature of this restaurant is convenient, but I would caution driving here... little parking nearby and almost everything must be paid for. There is a little parking lot just past the railroad tracks that usually charges $8.00. That's the one we use whenever we are out for a drive. The restaurant is small, so expect a couple minute wait during peak times. They do work fast here, so it really doesn't take long... I'd say about 10-15 minutes from order to food with a line. To be honest, I'd wait an hour for their tacos. Trust me... it's worth it!

SerpAPI
Omg very unexpected find!! They make such an amazing tacos!!!! The shell is also amazing 😍…love the taste, they make any taco vegetarian. I had four different one, all are amazing! Mac cheese tacos and boom boom with garlic aoli sauce!

SerpAPI
Staff was very nice and they have a lot of options to choose from food wise! Also I was very impressed with their craft beer selection 🤩

Yelp
This place was great. The tacos were so tasty. They take corn tortillas and they taste like fried Parmesan, so there is a crunchy texture. Extremely good. I would not have thought of this.

Sankaya H.

Yelp
Food is always great here, along with the customer service! However, the vibe seemed a little off recently. Maybe it was the absence of music (inside) on a Friday night? It was more on the quiet side. Otherwise, my family and I enjoyed the food + soda choices! Warning: Parking is terrible!

Auriel T.

Yelp
We ate here when we were in Orlando last year and couldn't stop thinking about our tacos so we came back and this time did not disappoint. The people are always so nice. I got the ahi tuna tacos again and the tuna was just as fresh as I remembered. Two tacos are the right amount of food. We ordered some ciders with our food. Overall this is a cool spot to check out for filling bite.

Briana J.

Yelp
Honestly I just didn't think it was very good. I went with some friends after work and was pretty excited to try it out, but I feel that it was overpriced and fell short in taste. I got the chicken, bacon, and ranch tacos (which was probably not a great idea on my part lol) but they were pretty gross. I also really disliked the burnt cheese on the outside of the tortilla. My friend got a bowl and she said it was just alright as well. The staff was extremely nice and efficient, I just think the menu is kinda weird and the combinations don't work out that well. I wouldn't go back.

Lisa W.

Yelp
This is a nice place for some unique tacos. Not much else besides tacos and drinks. Quick friendly service.

Yelp
We were at Camping World Stadium for BOA, and snuck out to grab lunch, rather than eat stadium food. By that point of the day, we were just ravenous and tacos sounded like the right call. In fact, we were lined up to go to a different taco place, but after parking the car, this is the first one we encountered, so in we went. While my husband used the restroom, the staff member took a moment to explain the menu. All items could be served as 2 or 3 tacos, burritos, nachos, salad, rice bowl or "in a bag." Most things could be mixed and matched, too. Even though the nachos sounded good, I opted for two tacos so I could try more things. The hubs ordered a Chick Magnet burrito, which was enormous. He said it was so good, and the cilantro garlic sauce was heaven. With is dietary restrictions, I'm glad he had a yummy option. I went for one Mac Attack (ground beef, craft beer mac and cheese, applewood bacon and green onion) and one Boom Boom (ground beef, shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, boom sauce and potato sticks). Both were served on cheesy tortillas and both were phenomenal. They could have been served a little warmer, but it didn't ruin my enjoyment one bit. Even though they had plenty of craft beer, I went with the Stubborn Craft Soda instead: we had many more hours of outdoor time to go and I needed to be on my a-game. Big portions, yummy food, and very sweet staff. I would eat there any time.

Styarria G.

Yelp
Quick food option when in a hurry downtown. I'm a fan of "not your basic" tacos so this place doesn't disappoint, just like the other Tin and Taco locations. I'm also a fan of the Stubborn craft soda options. The only downside here is the parking situation. For a quick bite to eat I'm not a fan of paid parking. This is why I give three stars.

Briana V.

Yelp
The tacos were pretty decent. They had some good taco combinations that could possibly suit everyone. Was not a huge fan of the pulled pork had no flavor and they came out a bit on the cold side. I think IMO that it's really good drunk food after a late night. The atmosphere wasn't the greatest. The wait was really long for 2 tacos. I don't think I would go back

Jessica C.

Yelp
It's okay. The tacos were decent, reasonably priced, but nothing special. They are in serious need of a deep cleaning. Dust everywhere, dirty tables. Staff was young and kind. I won't be back.

Amanda N.

Yelp
The tacos here are so good! Very flavorful and filling. The Washington street location is my favorite so far. The staff is always kind and the restaurant clean.

Gracie L.

Yelp
I visited Tin & Taco a couple years ago while I was on vacation in Orlando, and to this day, I still consider these to be my absolute favorite tacos. While this might sound crazy, I still think about these tacos regularly. Next time I'm in the Orlando area, Tin & Taco will be my first stop! Each taco has its own wildly unique flavor. These are so much better than your average tacos! I visited in summer of 2021, so the restaurant was still following covid protocols. My tacos were served in a styrofoam container when I went, but they're usually served on the cutest little tray. The presentation of the tacos is totally photo-worthy! The inside of the restaurant is super cute and welcoming. I ate my tacos outside on a picnic bench, and both the interior and exterior of the restaurant were very nice. Service is fast and friendly! I will never stop raving about this place!

Shari Z.

Yelp
Simple menu. Location is off side street on Orlando Ave. Tried two different tacos. I enjoyed. However I prefer traditional tacos.

John O.

Yelp
As an out of towner, I've only been here once, but wow, what a difference a crisped cheese tortilla can make. I was sent here by locals and asked an employee what the most popular tacos were, to which her answer was: Tacosaurus (for beef), Chick Magnet (for chicken), and Notorious P.I.G. (for pork), so I got all three (2 tacos/$8, 3 tacos/$11). The insides of the tacos were good in all three but all but the game changer was the tortilla, which had cheese crisped on the outside of the tacos. Each bite was cheesy and crisp, making the whole meal so good. This definitely sets this place apart from any taco place I've visited.

Paul S.

Yelp
Some cool takes on tacos. I wanted something different and got the Mac Attack in a bag. So good! Smoky mac & cheese, seasoned ground beef on top of a bag of Doritos; flavor explosion!

Natesha G.

Yelp
I'm surprised by the high ratings for this place. The tacos are creative and were filled with toppings but overall lacking in flavor. Out if the 3 I ordered Tacosaurus, Chick magnet, Al pastor-- the al pastor was the best one. The chick magnet was mushy chicken in a tomato base sauce. It seemed to be more sauce than chicken. The Tacosaurus tasted bland. Water bottle was 2.50, thats pricey but they have water cups. The interior is rustic, service did not greet us and took a while to take our order. I will not be coming back

Zachary P.

Yelp
This place is Sooooooo good. Connected to a great pizza spot as well - this is a must stop for a perfect lunch or to bring a group of people for plenty of options. Tin and taco do a great job at being very authentic while also adding their own flair to their food and menu. There is fun flavors with the basic fast casual Mexican food is perfect. Their fusion on Tex-Mex is done so well and the food is just so delicious!

Shannon T.

Yelp
Amazing tacos! A variety of different types of tacos to choose from. I had the tacosauras, buffalo solider and the Maui. Worth the visit .

Leah S.

Yelp
Quick, convenient place to stop in and grab lunch. We loved the concept of choosing your own base and style dish, but ultimately felt the flavors fell short of our expectations. We weren't a huge fan of the Parmesan crusted tortillas, and would much prefer a standard corn tortilla. The salad style was quite literally the meat dumped on a pile of greens. We imagine this would make a great drunk food / late night pit stop.

David L.

Yelp
Food: 3 Decor: 3 Service: 3 Came here for late night eats after a Seven Lions concert nearby. Chick magnet, 3.5 3/5. Overall a bit disappointing, maybe closer to 2.5 stars. Ingredients were piled on top of the taco, and it tasted pretty average. Guacamole 2/5. A bit disappointing and smaller portion size. Chips also tasted rather average. Service was fine. Pay at cashier upfront, then wait on your order to be called.

Eric M.

Yelp
The best tacos I have ever had. I ordered the al pastor and the ahi tuna tacos. The flavors, the quality, the cost, and the quantity were exceptional. I loved my ahi tuna tacos! So, I had to give Tin & Taco five stars. My only complaints are that the tables were not wiped down, and the bathroom was a single (not very clean from what I was told). Not a big problem since everything else superseded such factors.

Matt P.

Yelp
This place was good but didn't blow me away. They had some unique flavors but nothing that made me say wow when I ate it. The taco I had with BBQ sauce had way too much on it which kept it from being really good.

Maria P.

Yelp
I must say I really wanted to love this place. The taco options on the menu are pretty cool. I ordered El pastor and and the Notorious PIG. They were both great. The Notorious PIG had a welcomed kick to it. The shredded pork in each was tender, moist and well seasoned. The parmesean cheese on the tortilla shell is ingenious and gave it the texture it needed. The fountain drinks are awesome especially thr pineapple and acai selections. No added dyes and none of the crap that the bottled drinks put in them. My little one ordered Mac n' Cheese and at $5 I thought it would have been a full portion but it was a bit less than 1 cup portion. This is where I had the problem...there were 5 employees when I walked in. All of the employees were pleasant in my exchange with them as I ordered and even when I sat down and was given my food. With all the people standing around in a smaller, what appeared to be a mom and pop restaurant, you'd think they would be tidying up a bit. The floor was dirty and the tables were sticky and needed tending to. The decor and piping had caked on dust falling off of it. The soda machine and condiment areas were in disarray as well. It really made me think twice of my option to eat there but from what I could see the food serving area was kept in good condition. I came in on a Tuesday at about 4:30pm so I'm assuming I didn't just miss the lunch rush and there was only 1 other table with a couple at it so they weren't busy. I picked this place because of the amazing Yelp ratings and TACOS! Who doesn't absolutely love tacos? I'd love to try this place again because I can see the potential in it but I'll be a bit weary.

Abigail C.

Yelp
So the place is nice. It's a cute little restaurant for a quick visit and the music was defff hitting! The food I ordered was the tacosauras as a burrito with a side of chips and queso and a drink. Overall the burrito was fine. I'd give it a 5/10 for the burrito because there was too much rice and not enough of everything else. The chips and dip were good, a little more on the saltier side but I'd have them again. The customer service was fine as well, good communication, food was done in a timely manner. I probably wouldn't come back unless I was in the area and wanted to try something other than their burrito! I hope this helped

Tiffany D.

Yelp
Definitely unique tacos. They have multiple craft taco options. I got three to try and my husband got three. We also got the craft beer queso and Mac and cheese for my kiddo. The atmosphere is dark and not family friendly. All of the tacos were good but nothing was outstanding.

Yadira R.

Yelp
Honestly one of the most unique and delicious tacos I've had. I came in here for a first time on a Friday late night. It is a small location but had enough tables that it's share between them and the next door pizza place. The service was good as well. They have handcrafted sodas, beers and wine. Nothing name brand. We tried all the sodas and they were really good and the margarita was super sweet so we watered down a bit. Now we tried 6 different tacos. For pork we had the: notorious PIG 9/10 and all pastor style 7/10. Ground beef we had: Mac attack 7/10 and taco bomb 10/10. And steak: black and blue 10/10 and TNT 8/10. They have so many other options with chicken, chorizo , fish and tofu. I would definitely recommend.

A. C.

Yelp
(6/2/2023) came for a workday lunch, got the 3 taco combo. Love the Stubborn fountain soda flavors, great mix and match. Got The Tacosaurus, Buffalo Soldier, Pork on Fire. All were heavily sauced, more garnish than meat, strong acidity and salt. I'm a condiment fan, but this was even too much for me. I might try simpler next time.

Amarah B.

Yelp
My friend introduced me to this restaurant and I'm so glad she did. They have a unique variety of tacos, and these aren't your traditional tacos either! I had Mac Attack and the Al Pastor Taco and they were both really good! It's been a while since I've been here but from what I recall they do have a happy hour! Overall I really enjoyed the tacos and can't wait to try more from their menu!

Olivia K.

Yelp
Would highly recommend this place for the best/quick/filling taco in the Downtown Orlando area. I tried it once and now I'm a big fan. - I would suggest going for tacos instead of bowls just cause you get to try more than one variety. For the bowls, you can opt for 1 type of flavor. For the tacos, you have a choice between 2 or 3 different varieties. - They have such a wide selection of tacos ranging from different types of meats to different toppings to different sauces inside. They are quite unique to other taco spots I've been to. - The tacos that they give are bigger and so much more filling than you would think. I got the 3 taco option and it was more than enough to satisfy me for lunch. - The taco itself is not just your typical corn/flour tortilla. It's parmesan crusted, so it's extra cheesy/crunchy/filling because of it. - They have house sodas or house beers/alcohol, so the flavors are quite unique to this place as well. Definitely worth a try. I personally got the Taco Bomb, Maui and Notorious P.I.G. All very unique. Taco Bomb is ground beef, Maui is chicken, P.I.G is pork as expected. If I had to choose, my least favorite would be Taco Bomb. I also got to try the ahi tuna, which was super filling & good. I think it's worth the extra few bucks for it if you like raw fish. I came in super hungry & left super fulll/satisfied. What more can I ask for...

Theresa L.

Yelp
Awesome place located downtown Orlando! Big menu of all different tacos, the staff is so friendly! I got two tacos, the chick magnet and taco bomb! Both were so delicious, topped with crunchy cheese. I also got a side of chips and queso. Everything was delicious, can't wait to return!

Jose M.

Yelp
It was a pretty good taco spot but overall it felt like the tacos were just thrown together haphazardly. I ordered 3 different type of tacos and was not wowed by any of them. The service was mediocre, nothing to write home about. As far as atmosphere, the decor is very cute - albeit basic. It's a good spot to just eat and go! Like gooooo!

Gin S.

Yelp
I had this through Uber eats and it was very tasty. The taco shell was interesting take with crispy cheese on the exterior for an extra crunch. How did they know crunchy is my fav?? I also tried the bowl which was average but I def prefer chipotle bowls to theirs. Overall a unique taco experience with tasty meat and fillings. I would order from there again.

Ida C.

Yelp
The besttt tacos!!! guacamole was ok - needs more seasoning to me but tacos are definitely worth it.

Kelly J.

Yelp
Tin & Taco is a great spot to grab a quick lunch in the Downtown Orlando area. I walked over with a friend last week and we were able to both get lunch, sit down and enjoy, and have a nice conversation in under an hour. The service was great! This was my first time visiting, and the person taking my order was friendly and helpful. Plus, the food is delicious! Though I've only been once, I loved my meal. And my friend said it's a spot that folks from our office go to often, so that's a good review in and of itself. If you're searching for a quick and tasty lunch spot in the area, Tin & Taco is a great spot to check out!

Margaret P.

Yelp
Loved this place! It's great for date night -- the ambiance is perfect! The food is terrific and the service is quick. Overall score: A+

James T.

Yelp
We walked out. We came at 2 with a group of 6 There was no sign or anyone to greet. (Unlike the other locations). A guy emerged from the back saying "it will be a few minutes, not really setup here". We waited a few minutes. He went to take our order..... he asked how many orders.... We said 6. He told me it would "tie him up for like 30 minutes" and said "they are more setup as a cantina and not a restaurant". Then recommended going to their other location as this location only has one employee and the other place has like 9 employees. If you aren't wanting to serve food or be setup to serve food, why have a menu full of food? We left. As serving food for the only 6 people on the establishment was too much for him.

Ophelia B.

Yelp
The best tacos I have ever had. I ordered the al pastor and the ahi tuna tacos. The flavors, the quality, the cost, and the quantity were exceptional. So, I had to give Tin & Taco five stars. My only complaints are that the tables were not wiped down, and the bathroom was a single (not very clean from what I was told). Not a big problem since everything else superseded such factors. I did not use the bathroom there and just walked back to use the one in my hotel.

Katia R.

Yelp
If I could give them zero I would. We ordered food on a Friday and they were closing at 3 am and at 1am they did not let me use the bathroom because " they were closed". We should all have access to this. If you can still walk into the location and it's not closed, why would I be told I can't use it. The manager at this location needs to deal with their staff. This is not correct.

Kirbie W.

Yelp
Tacos are great, definitely considered "craft tacos". Tortillas are crusted in Parmesan, specialty tacos have things like Mac and cheese, Doritos, etc. For more simplistic tacos I'd go to T&T sister restaurant gringos locos tacos... which is usually a stones throw away!

Lena W.

Yelp
A MUST TRY!!! There are not really many reasons for me to like Orlando. But Tin&Taco might be the reason to come back. If you are here for any reason you MUST try this place!! These are hands down are the best tacos I have had in a long time! Scoop, the store manager was super nice, and provided info on all tacos and extras they had in a store. I ordered Steakout, and Ahi tuna., OMG!!!! I was ready to lick the paper Steakout was served on!! There is no way to describe the explosion of flavor and juices that you get from every one of them!!! I have never had cheese covered tortillas, and these are amazing! My Ahi Tuna tacos were super fresh and HUGE! Once again, a true miracle found in the "hole in a wall" place. BTW, people wrote that bathrooms were not necessarily the cleanest ones. We were here at 4 PM, and the bathrooms were fine. The only downside of the place was that they didn't have any merchandise such as baseball hats or T-shirts to buy.

Doug N.

Yelp
Says they're open until 3am on Apple Maps. Drove all the way over here for no reason. They should correct their hours on Google and apple.

Preston P.

Yelp
Probably the worst tacos I've ever had. I ordered the taco bomb and it was very salty and the food was served cold considering everything is made to order. If you're drunk and there's no other options go here at your own risk..

Jay J.

Yelp
Today was the first time I went there , I received fast service and I enjoyed the music that was playing. I tried the buffalo soldier nachos. The chicken was seasoned good The only thing I didn't like was the chips itself apart from that the nachos were good.

Jg R.

Yelp
Where do I start, I have always wanted to stop by and try the food. Well today we stopped and placed an order for tuna nachos and three beef tacos as well as nachos and beer queso. The chips on the tuna nachos were stale as well as the chips for the queso. This ruined both the dishes. I'll admit the beef tacos were very good though. The table was sticky and very dirty and bathroom was closed for cleaning the entire time we dined there. A few adjustments and I would love to try them again.

Sophia S.

Yelp
All of the tortillas were crusted in a sharp orange cheese that really overwhelmed the flavors. I had the vegetarian Taco bomb and the al pastor pork Taco. I didn't like either of them, but I couldn't even finish the al pastor. My friend got the Taco bomb and the notorious P.I.G. she liked the Taco bomb but also didn't like the pork taco.

Rachel R.

Yelp
Paid and parked, walked all the way there for them to be closed at 11:44 PM on a Wednesday. Apple Maps says 3:00 AM and google says 12:00 AM. Very unprofessional location

John A.

Yelp
In town for a week and I was told that I needed to check out this little taco joint. I'm happy I did. The service was fantastic, and the food was high quality. If you're looking for a little hole in the wall taco joint, with great service and great food, look no further. I'll be back a few more times this week. Next time I'll post photos!

William V.

Yelp
We're visiting from Houston, Texas and needed a place to grab a quick bite before heading to to our Airbnb. You order as soon as you walk in at the counter, walk to the end of the counter, order drinks and pay for your meal. They have a pretty cool selection of beers/ciders/seltzer's. We tried both the guava and tropical margaritas and they were very tasty and definitely recommend. Wish they were in a slightly bigger glass for $5 but I'd order another one. Lol I ordered 1 of each of the pork tacos and the only one that was good was the pastor taco. The others were meh. The one with BBQ sauce was a no go. They have some cool ideas when it comes to their food concepts but they didn't seem to be perfected by the staff preparing the food. I just expected a bit more but I did eat everything. I recommend trying this place at least once because I might be biased. At least try the margaritas! They have a great outdoors eating area and music is chill.

Krishna Bhavithavya K.

Yelp
It's a small taco place in downtown Orlando. The staff were nice. You place and order and eat. There was a line to order. The menu has lot of options. The meat and flavors were nice but the tortilla was ok. A decent place to go.

Liamna M.

Yelp
Like the location of this place. It's right next to my Job. The tacos were pretty good, there crust had Parmesan cheese! I got the Al pastor taco and a chicken taco, there were pretty good. 2 was more than enough for me. They have a bunch of different beer collections!! I would say tho that there guacamole was not that great. It was flavorless which was kindve disappointing.

Robert M.

Yelp
The food was very good, even excellent! However they need to make some changes. Where does it say in the menu that the 2 bases of fries and nachos are for large parties? And when did it become normal to be rude to first time customer that don't know? I tried to order fries and there was not enough meat for the fries. I felt chastised because I didn't know it was for more than just me! Once again the food was very good but the service was just a little bit lack luster! Not the way you wanna treat first time patrons and expect them to return! Only time will tell!
