"Atlanta’s beloved Pan-Asian eatery picked Houston as its first expansion market out of its home turf. The first of five planned locations is scheduled to debut in central Houston before the end of 2019. The restaurant is inspired by bustling street cafes of Hong Kong and offers a variety of dishes including crab and cheese spring rolls, tikka masala, and Korean fried chicken sliders." - Tierney Plumb

Did not care for the food here. I did not try the wings, which did look tasty. Tried the chicken potstickers, they were 3 out of 5 star and a noodle bowl that was not very flavorful. My friend got a Boba tea, and did not like it, drank less than half. I would rather go back to Masala Wok, very similar, but MW actually good food.

I went tho this restaurant on 8/13/2023 at 8:10pm. Placed order at 8:17pm. The staff wasn’t friendly but that’s ok as long as they weren’t rude. I think the guy who took my order was new because he couldn’t tell me how anything taste and couldn’t recommend anything. This was my first time coming. This is why I have a 3 for service. However, the food is another story! I ordered 12 sesame wings because it says sweet on menu and they were for my two kids. I also ordered 6 mango chili wings, fried rice, white rice, 3 drinks, pork wonton and crab Rangoons. I’ll start with the drinks 3/10 I order 2 fruit teas and they were made with Green tea. The other two options were chia tea or black tea. I couldn’t taste the fruit or sweetness, simply green tea. Wontons 1/10 fried to crisp, definitely couldn’t eat them. Crab Rangoon; fried too long 6/10. Do they suppose to have meat in them? Sesame wings ?/10 because we did not get them. The 12 wings we received were spicy with mango chunks in them. However to me they were delicious and so was the chunks! 9/10 (a few of them were fried too long) the mango chili wings were delicious also 10/10 I would get again! Fried rice ?/10 because we didn’t get any fried rice only white rice as you see in the pictures. White rice it was average sticky rice (shrugs). I would give this place another try because how good the wings were! So I will come back and update my review after my second visit. It may have been we came too late (right before closing) and that played a part….. hopefully. I had a video of how hard the wontons were but I can’t post it 🤷🏾‍♀️. Update 08/21/2023 5:30pm Went by and tried the sesame wings/mango chili wing and fried rice and the manager or owner was there. He definitely was so nice!! So he asked me how was everything and I told him the fried rice was bland and he asked what was missing and I said seasoning or flavor. He was very open to my response and asked if I would like to try the fried rice with a brown sauce. I responded “no you don’t have to” he insisted and I’m glad he did! The fried rice with the brown sauce was so bomb! Me and my kids were fighting over it 😂😂😂😂. We mixed it with the other fried rice and tore down! Take my advice ask for the fried rice with brown sauce. You will not regret it!! The wings were still 10/10 no debate. Please try the sesame wings 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Also we had slushes and they were so good and sweet! 5/5! It was a little ice cream on top and my niece had the boba and they shared and drink it all. So this visit went very well and I will be back!

Hands-down, best Ramen noodle I’ve had in Houston! Also loved the chicken, rice bowls. Big portions, great value, and fast service. The food was fresh and tasty. Highly recommend!

First off, they forgot to include the rice with all that sauce they poured in the bowl to the point where it was inedible. The fried chicken on top was okay but the rest was soggy from all of the mango sauce. I had to strain most of it out onto a dish and even then couldn’t take more than a few bites. Flavor was lacking and the sauce was very artificial. Spring rolls were decent. The place is cool but the kitchen needs some work. Disappointed that I had to eat CFA after a trip here. Not sure how it’s rated so well. Bad luck for me or people are lacking taste buds?

Tin Drum was my go-to spot in Atlanta, so when I heard it was coming to Houston, I got so excited. I ordered the Bangkok sweet chili with grilled chicken and was very disappointed. The curry was pretty good, but the spice level was too spicy. The chicken didn't taste like chicken at all. It was rubbery and fatty. I asked for fried rice but was given white rice instead. On top of that, the portion size was pretty small. Another disappointment was their most popular dish, "The TIn drum," no being on the menu. My husband ordered the kickn fried rice, and he said it lacked flavor. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the crab and cheese roll was good and the staff was friendly. I drove 45 min to try out this spot and regret that I did. Parking: There is public parking on the side of the building, but you have to pay.

i got lo mein and it was delicious. it was on the healthier side which i didn't mind. felt like i was eating something homemade because it came with lots of yummy veggies and the noodles werent too thick or heavy. i got their taro milk tea and wasnt expecting it but it was really good. they have many choices on the menu to choose from, and i liked how they had accurate photos of each entree. easy parking and clean restaurant. they also sell asian crackers and few merch.

I love this place! They’re new in Houston (but all over Atlanta), and I think they’re going to grow like crazy here. They have multiple Asian-inspired dishes, including Japanese, Thai, Korean and Chinese, and the menu is creative and delicious. I’ve tried several ramen dishes, several noodle dishes, and a couple of appetizers so far. Absolutely no complaints. Check it out!
