Tin Drum was my go-to spot in Atlanta, so when I heard it was coming to Houston, I got so excited. I ordered the Bangkok sweet chili with grilled chicken and was very disappointed. The curry was pretty good, but the spice level was too spicy. The chicken didn't taste like chicken at all. It was rubbery and fatty. I asked for fried rice but was given white rice instead. On top of that, the portion size was pretty small. Another disappointment was their most popular dish, "The TIn drum," no being on the menu. My husband ordered the kickn fried rice, and he said it lacked flavor. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the crab and cheese roll was good and the staff was friendly. I drove 45 min to try out this spot and regret that I did.
