So-so in that like others here, I agree that it's downright wrong to charge for chips and salsa here. I ordered the Three Amigos for our table which comes with salsa, guacamole, and blanco queso for $13! The guacamole was good, queso was alright, but the salsa it comes with (Roja) was sub-par at best. I requested the spicy salsa, which saved the trio because the spicy salsa was a hit at our table. Chips were good too, a bit much on the seasoning, but not terrible. I will say that munching on these waiting for the rest of our party to arrive did fill us up a bit... so that's a win.
There is also plenty of outdoor seating or so it felt like it when we came on a Wednesday evening, but umbrellas don't tilt so if you come before sunset, the sun will burn you alive. I also got a few mosquito bites, so be wary and spray a little bug spray if you're planning on sitting outside.
Drinks: One of my girlfriends ordered a rum and coke that was a bit watered down and another ordered the Blood Orange margarita. The rum/coke was ehh, but the one who got the blood orange drink really liked hers. It was also presented nicely with an orange garnish and salt rims.
We ordered tacos and went with a few Mahi Mahi and Executive tacos. The Mahi Mahi tacos were pretty good, my friend really liked hers and said she would get it again. The Executive taco on the other hand was grilled steak, fried onions, blue cheese, and some sort of crema sauce. Unless you LOVE blue cheese, I wouldn't get it. I like blue cheese, but it was bleu cheese overload. I also wasn't thrilled with the steak. Keep in mind these are $5/tacos, a la carte. So you're paying about $10 for TWO (hopefully good) tacos. No chips, no salsa, no rice, and no beans. Everything is a la carte.
Overall I felt this place was a bit too pricey for so-so food, but service was excellent!
