I wasn't too happy with this ice cream experience especially given the prices and relatively smaller servings compared to other ice cream places in the area. Got the blue jasmine and the salted butterscotch. Some points worth noting: - If you register your phone number with them, they will give you complimentary cookie crumbs on one ice cream only. - One scoop is a little more than 5 dollars and you have to pay around $1.25 for a cone. - any toppings cost more - the blue jasmine smells almost sickly sweet (like some cheap perfume) - the salted butterscotch didn't really taste like butterscotch but rather like a caramel vanilla ice cream. - variety of flavours is limited Not really keen to go back.

High quality, yummy ice cream. I was super excited to try this place as I’ve heard good things. I got the lavender with lemon poppy cookies and the strawberry. I love the creamy texture of their ice cream and you can tell they use high quality ingredients. Can’t wait to try all the flavors. There’s no seating, and it’s a very small shop. Recommend grabbing a bench seat or taking a walk downtown.

The perfect place to get some dessert after a dinner in Downtown Los Altos. Though a bit pricey, the ice cream is good quality and they give you pretty generous scoops. Two scoops is perfect to share with another person. I recommend the Blue Jasmine Tea! Very creamy and fragrant, like a jasmine milk tea. Very interested in trying their sorbet next time!

Coffee nib flavor is delicious. Kids scoop comes with candy eyes and a smile. Like your eating a tiny cold muppet. Vegan option available.

This is our go-to icecream place in San Jose. My gal loves their ice creams more than any other. The ambience around is also very cozy and lively. We visit once every 1-2 months.

Nice, cute ice cream shop. All of the signs for the flavors look the same, as well as most of the ice cream - light mixture with bits of stuff (chocolate, cookies, sprinkles). I am glad I was there in the middle of the day so I could ask the nice lady about them. I tried the lavender-poppy seeds one, and it tasted like I was eating my grandmother, but I know some people like it... I ended up getting a scoop of the birthday cake and one scoop of something like cookies and cream. It was really good. Some of the more expensive ice cream I've had, though I suppose location affects that.

Delicious ice cream. Lots of flavors. The mint chip is good quality. Fresh mint taste instead of the green artificial kind from other ice cream places. There are benches outside.

Yelp
I guess the closure of Tin Pot Los Altos was not too long. I was told Boba Guys is taking over their old spot and now they are in the State Street Market with a ton of other vendors. Still a very soft opening and the only 3 flavors are Vanilla Chocolate and Cookie Monster (Oreos)...So of course we did all 3. The ordering through the State Street staff seems kind of weird but it's temporary until the open up everything and the public can go inside. 92F today and so it was perfect ice Cream weather...waiting for them to build up their inventory again but Ill take what I can get
