Tina’s Cuban Cuisine is 10mins walk from 14st Station (union square area). Nice and clean restaurant. Some tables and seats inside. Very straightforward ordering process from the window. The staff are very nice. I don’t know if they are authentic Cuban food but it’s tasty for me. I got today’s lunch special: pork with 2 sides ($11.50). You can’t beat that price in city. It’s a generous portion. The pork is flavorful, savory and easy to pull apart. Very juicy. Yellow rice and broccoli are good too. I would like to try chicken or fish next time. Definitely a good lunch spot!

I ordered the pernil and so did my friend. I’m gonna give the pork for 4.5 to a 4.7. The nice and soft. Marinated in water, which is good could use a little more spices perhaps but overall great. They offer the classic green sauce which is a 3.9. Could be a little more spicier to . The broccoli is fresh and while it is not sautéed, it is simply delicious, crunchy and plain. The rice with the pork marinade is outstanding. I’m gonna give it a 4.7. They also give you some nice onions on the side 4.5. The pork rind or Chi-cha-ron , is outstanding. I’m gonna give it 4.8. Overall of your good Cuban food. I can’t recommend this place enough come on down. You won’t be disappointed.

If this business wants to be stingy with portions, I will be stingy with my patronage of this business. Grilled chicken platter with rice and beans. More rice than anything. They're stingy not with just the chicken, but with the beans, Onions, and green sauce. Taste is quite good, so it's disappointing that I will never return.

I'd replace my dining room with a table here if I could. The team here knows their stuff and serves tasty food. Food and ambience were great! Their personnel handled everything professionally. The staff here shows competence.

Yelp
Okay imma keep this short, sweet plantains and simple. The food = really good. I got the flounder meal with fresh maduro plantains & veggie yellow rice. The flounder was fresh, crispy & juicy to finish the trifecta. The maduros are thick but they were soft and sweet as advertised. The rice was great, & i loved the added veggies to it, including the white onions. Overall i give this plate a 9.5/10 because of the added green sauce. Couldnt ask for a better lunch to end 2024!! The location is just off Union Sq. Park & in a safe area(important)! The spot looked like a local spanish spot in your home town or country. Nothing crazy but deff a good amount of seats to enjoy a sit down meal. The environment was clean as well in which made me assure my meal was safe lol. Thanks and Happy New Year to my Cubanos!

Yelp
I'm a New York native of Cuban ethnicity and authentic Cuban restaurants are very few so whenever I stumble upon one I make it my business to go in and see if they have any of my favorite familiar Cuban staples and this place did not. I requested croquettes, but they don't serve them. When I asked for a materva, the staff member didn't understand me, likely because she wasn't Cuban. It seemed like none of the employees were. I left feeling really disappointed! If you plan to sell "Cuban" cuisine, it's essential to offer genuine Cuban dishes and products.

Yelp
Got a Cubano that was good alittle pricey for what it was but service was nice and fast and a lot of room to sit and enjoy

Yelp
Just stopped in for the first time. There were two bagel stores here before that never lasted and we already have a good number of bagel stores in the neighborhood so this was a great addition. I ordered the Cuban sandwich, which was perfectly executed, in particular, the quality of the pork which stands out as tender, well-seasoned and flavorful. The staff were friendly and helpful too, and did not take long. There are a lot of options in the menu and I hope to be back to try out in the future. Great fast casual spot.
