I LOVE coffee and have been to ALOT of coffee shops around the country. The staff is very friendly, and they have unique flavor combos here. An iced Lemongrass Mint latte was what I had today, and it was a burst of flavor in my mouth. The most refreshing and aromatic latte I've ever had that was also not overpowering the espresso. Thank you for the recommendation, ladies!

Came in for rumble weekend wanted a coffee it was close to hotel. Got toasted sesame vanilla latte on ice was not disappointed. Great atmosphere has nice seating. Staff is very friendly

One of the BEST coffee shops I’ve ever been to (like around the world) for real! I’ve had their honey vanilla latte at least 15+ times and it’s always perfect, both hot or cold. I love their fun drinks too - Brazilian limeade, espresso tonics, etc. Baristas are also SO sooooo kind and friendly and happy. Breakfast sandwiches with different kinds of sauces (I especially love the zhoug mayo) are also great. It’s so hard to get coffee anywhere else! Pls bring back the Midwest princess 🥺🥺🥺

I've lived in multiple cities and travel a lot. I am always looking for new coffee places to try. Tinker by far has the best drip coffee I've ever had. The quality and taste of their drip is always phenomenal, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Whatever they're doing, more places need to follow their model. This is in a tier of its own.

Google
Nice corner coffee shop! I pass by Tinker often, and finally took a moment to drop in. A brown sugar cinnamon latte was my choice, which was tasty without being overly sweet. Some quick snack items are on the menu as well, and pricing is about average for a coffee place. The place appears to be friendly to homeless as well, which is highly admirable. Sometimes I see people inside that appear to come in to have a seat and warm up. When stopping by earlier, the baristas kindly offered water to a down on their luck individual that sounds like a regular visitor. Kudos to Tinker for a clean, welcoming environment and good beverages!

Google
Fantastic coffee shop in downtown Indianapolis! Tinker has a great selection of coffee blends and amazing seasonal drinks. The brekkie sandwich is also always delicious!

Google
One of my coffee shops of choice when I'm downtown. Super consistent with the quality of their drinks! On occasion, the five spice latte does feel more gingery than other times, but it doesn't impact the taste in my opinion. Drinks aside, I recommend their breakfast sandwiches as well :)

Google
This place is great. My brother and I tried it on a whim one Saturday morning about 6 months ago and I've been back probably every other week since. If I could afford it I would go every day. To start with the staff is friendly and just seem really chill. The coffee is great. I will admit in the past I'd say I'm just as happy with gas station coffee as fancy coffee house coffee, but Tinker has changed my mind. I almost always get the Maple Miso which is incredible btw, but every time I've tried something new even if it wasn't something I'd get again there's nothing I've hated. And the cheapside sandwich is truly the greatest breakfast sandwich I have ever had. I love this place and will go out of my way to go here over corporate chains. It's just such a great place ❤️

Yelp
If you live in Indy, you understand the Tinker Coffee empire. Admittedly, this is my first time in a full Tinker store, where I've normally gone to the airport locations or the stand in the AMP at 16 tech. At midday, there's not a large crowd but still some folks who work inside amongst the expanse of seating available. Thus, my drink came pretty quickly. I came during Eras tour weekend, so I was able to get the specialty Chai Sugar Cookie latte. If memory serves me correctly, this was under $6 for the 16 oz iced latte. Of all the coffees I've had, I would say this was the most accurate to flavor by description. The notes of chai are wonderfully balanced with the sugar cookie. I would even go so far as to start a petition to make this a permanent item. Otherwise, I love the Five Spice Latte. Along with the Chai Sugar Cookie latte, purchases in Eras Tour weekend came with a swiftie friendship bracelet! I would recommend Tinker as *the* coffee shop of our city!

Yelp
Wonderful coffee shop. I visited during Taylor swift weekend and this location was packed but the lines moved super quick. A wide variety of food options and great coffees

Yelp
So I came by Tinker Coffee on 1/5/25 @ 11:59 AM. It was a male barista that made my drink. First time I've seen him. Idk if he's new? When I got it, it felt a little light for a 20 oz drink. I didn't bother to take off the lid to take a peek. I went home immediately, I did not spill nor haven't taken a sip from the matcha latte that I ordered. When I opened it, the cup was 3/4 full. I know everyone's gonna think it was the foam, I got oat milk and oat milk don't foam like that. I didn't order a cappuccino for it to be foamy. I'm just a little disappointed that it was 1/4 empty. I I've mostly ordered iced lattes.. Not my first time ordering from this place.. I don't know. Maybe I haven't checked previously? I loved their other lattes still. But idk if I'd come back here anymore. I'll come back but I'll check who's making my drink first or maybe I'd prefer to put the lid myself like other coffee shops do. What's your experience? Thoughts?

Yelp
After months of driving past this place, my partner and I decide to give this spot a try instead of our usual coffee place in downtown Indy. Their place is a good size and clean. The staff was friendly and accommodates our request to make the coffee extra hot. I got the rosemary hazelnut drink and we tried out both breakfast sandwiches on their menu - everything was very good. I loved my drink - this could easily be my go to coffee spot!

Yelp
The lattes and breakfast sandwiches at tinker are a go-to for my husband and me. The quality is consistently excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. It's always a treat to stop by for a satisfying meal and a perfectly made coffee!

Yelp
Tinker started out off 16th Street on the Westside and to a nice place at the AMP. This newish location is really pretty inside. If you know where Whole Foods and the Cummins buildings are it's in that area that wraps around a corner. I love the deep blues that they used on the walls. They introduced two new drinks the "Dancing Ann" and "On Your Left" paying homage to the Cultural Trail and all its offerings. The change that people round up this month goes to the Cultural Trail. They have a nice pastry selection and delicious looking breakfast sandwiches that I saw being picked up from the counter. Yogurt with granola, and various other pastries and of course pop tarts - the brown sugar one was delicious especially if you warm it up!!! I've always liked the font they used on the cups and the design of the cups it's really cool looking. I'm sure this won't be the last time I visit this Indy coffee gem!!

Yelp
Stopped by early for coffee, of course. Coffee was fine but I had the Honey Vanilla Latte which was outstanding. Perfect blend of flavors without being overly sweet. Did not sample any of the sweet treats but the burnt butter bourbon rice crispy treat sounded intriguing. Just a bit too early for me to launch into that. Maybe next time!

Yelp
So thrilled to have this new Tinker Coffee addition in the Wholesale District- a fabulous option for visitors and locals alike. The space is beautiful wrap around windows and seating, outdoor sidewalk seating, plentiful outlets, and a fun high top over looking the action. The menu features a variety of their drip coffees along with lattes like the Five Spice and lemongrass. They also offer a few food items and most notably, they've recently added Sidedoor Bagels to their Sunday menu (brilliant!! ). I thoroughly enjoyed my latte this past weekend and the friendly customer service. I also appreciated their current fundraiser for Indy Parks. You can easily find parking on the adjacent streets or via the Whole Foods lot if you're a customer. Looking forward to my next visit already!

Yelp
A new coffee shop opened downtown! I got Greg's cookie and Iced Brown Sugar Cinnamon coffee to go! They were both great! This place has some tables with chairs and advertised fast Wi-Fi for those people trying to work at a coffee shop!

Yelp
Great new place downtown. Tinker has AMAZING coffee and they just opened a downtown coffee shop by Whole Foods and Cummins HQ. It's a nice, clean place. I got an americano and a cookie and both were great. This location is amazing to walk, bike, or take the bus to. Quick walk to the circle, too if you want to grab coffee to go and walk around. I wish there was a bit more indoor seating. And I wish they had a bit more pastry options. However, their coffee is a MUST TRY, so don't let those small areas for improvement turn you away. The staff was friendly and the service was very fast. This is great coffee in an amazing location. Definitely a perfect addition to this part of the city. Come and try Tinker Coffee!

Yelp
New coffee shop downtown and it is SO cute. It is so modern and absolutely gorgeous. It is a great location downtown near the Whole Foods and the city market. The inside was spacious and they had great outdoor seating. Parking is downtown street parking and possibly garages near by! ALSO look at these cups!!!! They are SO CUTE! Seriously love this coffee shop!! The people were super kind and the service was great! Check them out!!

Yelp
So glad this new coffee shop has opened! Definitely missed having a Starbucks/coffee here. Loved the americano and so excited to try out all the other lattes on the menu! Staff was friendly and service was quick - even for a busy time in the day. The line was pretty long but I didn't wait much and my drink and sandwich was out in a flash. The only critique is for the breakfast sandwich - the sausage and egg were great but the bun was a bit drying and almost more like a hamburger bun than breakfast sandwich bun? Definitely going to give it a few more tries since I may have caught a bad or busy day where they ran out of supplies. Space is cozy with plenty of outlets. Would recommend working here but may depend on your tolerance for noise. When I went (maybe around opening week) there were a lot of people there, which may make it hard to work.

Yelp
This place is the best! Super clean and modern on the inside, and the coffee is delicious! Just moved downtown and have been looking for a new go to coffee shop- Tinker is definitely my first choice. The workers were kind and efficient!

Yelp
Tinker Coffee has officially moved into the space and it's perfect! It's a great place to get some work done or catch up with a friend. Delicious coffee and friendly faces all around!

Yelp
Um. . . Was on my way to a brunch place and decided I needed coffee stat, so dropped into this cute little place en route. Boy, am I glad I did! Had the brekkie breakfast sando with sausage and kimchi aioli, coffee and a Tinker Tart (always loved Pop Tarts!). Amazeballs! So much flavor packed in small, unassuming packages. Coffee strong and delicious? Check. Clean and tastefully-appointed environs? Check. Delicious food? Check. Adorable, helpful and friendly staff? Check. I don't even recognize Indianapolis anymore (my mom grew up here, and this was a vacation destination regularly to visit family). If this is the trend in Indy. . . Right on!

Yelp
Many of my friends, much more snobby bean counters than I, vote Tinker as the top tier roastery, and no surprise! The experience, atmosphere, friendly staff, and delightful menu is always a treat here and even at their airport location I sampled two years ago much astonished a runway shop could brew a decent cup! The five spice latte is crazy unique and perfect for cold days. My sister loves their lemongrass latte and their rare but amazing decaf espresso roast. Every drink is a winner! This glassy and classy curved corner cafe is ideal for a quick or slow stop. There's plenty of light and carefree seating to sip up the hours. Parking options are tricky for the new kids but not too bad for big cities.

Yelp
Love their iced latte. Space is big enough and it has nice window view where you can see downtown streets. Staffs are kind and helpful.

Yelp
I love their Maple Miso Caramel!!! I wish there was one close by me. I would def recommend trying them out if you are in the area.

Yelp
Only positive things to say about this company and location. The staff at the roastery to the cafe are all focused on providing great service and a great product. This location is beautiful and a perfect spot for a meeting or place to work. A lot of thought and effort are put into their pastries and sandwiches, which taste great.

Mason P.

Yelp
Wish I could give this a 0/10. Had a bad experience my first time with rude staff and it happened again after I gave them another shot. Awful

Yelp
This coffee shop had great quality coffee, very friendly baristas and the best breakfast sandwiches. I will return, it's convenient and enjoyable.

Yelp
I will never be able to say enough good things about this place! I have tried a lot of coffee places in Indy, local and chain, and this place probably ranks the highest for me. They have some of the most unique flavors I've ever tried, such as a toasted sesame latte that is absolutely outstanding, and on Sundays they have bagels from a local bagel place that is not open on Sundays. Every time I have gone in there, which is a lot, one of the servers if not more have had a personal conversation with me whether it was about something I was wearing, something I ordered, or even just the weather outside. It is always so welcoming, they always play great music in my personal opinion, and overall the vibe is just very good. They have a huge variety of drinks, food, seating options, etc. They also offer rewards on the toast app, which is a bonus for people to go there a lot like I do.
