Stopped in at Tino’s Pizza in Oneonta and it did not disappoint! The cold slice was excellent — packed with flavor even straight from the case. Wings were perfectly crispy and absolutely delicious. On top of that, the staff was super friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot worth visiting! 🍕🍗👏

Google
Tino’s is our favorite pizza restaurant in Oneonta. The crust is thin, the sauce is delicious, and there is a very nice selection of toppings. The menu is quite extensive and the cheesesteak sandwich is another favorite of ours. It’s a simple dining area but works well if you want to dine in. The staff are professional and friendly, very accommodating. It’s a destination when friends and family come to visit. Highly recommend!

Google
If you’re in Oneonta and craving some killer pizza, Tino’s Pizza is an absolute must. We ordered the garlic knots, cheese pizza, and a classic pepperoni — and every bite hit the spot. The knots were perfectly baked, buttery, and loaded with garlic — soft inside with just the right crisp on the outside. The cheese pizza was everything you want in a slice: gooey, cheesy, and full of flavor. And the pepperoni? Classic, crispy edges, and plenty on every slice. What really made the experience even better was the atmosphere — super welcoming, great energy, and that local hometown vibe you just can’t fake. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or sitting down with friends, Tino’s nails it. Definitely coming back. 🍕🔥

Google
Tino's is the real deal. They originated the cold cheese pizza and it's great. If you love the crispiness of pizza but want to keep the skin on the roof of your mouth, this is the pizza for you. You can split a cold cheese slice between two people. There is a time limit for this slice. The longer you go, the worse it gets as the cold cheese starts congealing on the top of the pizza. Their other food is great too.

Google
This place is great! Loved the variety of pizzas, the cold cheese topping option was interesting if nothing else. But the pizza cant be beat on its own! The rest of the menu looks good too, we just didn't venture off the pizza.

Google
Always nice clean establishment for the customers as well as being able to just walk in get a single slice versus having to pay for a whole pie. They carry many options for the toppings as well as different variations of those sauces for their pies. The regular cheese slices are always a favorable. And for those that want a pizza with a white sauce or even a garlic pie they are able to do those in slices. Yes the specialty slices cost a little bit more but it is one place you are able to find an spinach artichoke dip slice for less than seven bucks and ready to go just as simple as a plain cheese. Plenty of seating inside as well as some outside seating they have tables up in a glass enclosure so you can watch the hustle and bustle of main Street from the building. The servers even try to go out of the way to make the experience even more special for the kids when me and my son went we had gotten just two slices and the lady at the register after we had paid and decided to sit got over one of tino's Pizza pin which was one of the collaborations with the All-Star parks/baseball

Google
My go to menu item is the build your own stromboli. I usually get a side of mozzarella sticks as well as some zeppolis for a sweet treat afterwards. All delicious and made with care.

Yelp
We were in Vermont and ran into a family and they told us that they were Oneonta, NY. We said that we were headed to The Hall of Fame and they recommended we stop at Tino's. I am so glad we did. The staff was super friendly and they gave us some great suggestions. I was shocked to hear about the cold cheese pizza. It was really good. We will definitely go back when in New York again.

Roni M.

Yelp
Just have to say- their pizza is delicious BUT- THEIR WINGS ARE THE BEST IN ONEANTA! I've had pizza and wings in every spot all over town. Tinos has absolutely best chicken wings I've ever had!!! Thank you so much!!!

Yelp
Great food. New York style pizza didn't disappoint. Whenever I'm Oneonta, I'll go back!

Yelp
The food was fresh, fast, and delish! The staff was helpful with questions about the menu, very curious, and just great. Head here for a great slice and a nice casual atmosphere (great for groups too)

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! Everyone in our party of 40 people loved it! If I ever go back to Oneonta I will definitely eat there!

DJ B.

Yelp
Staff is friendly and service was quick. However their staple slice that they are known for "cold cheese pizza" is vile. The idea sounds good in theory, but their choice of mozzarella, it tastes more like a smoked cheddar which is not appealing, and the sheer amount of cheese on it is unsettling. I brushed off all the cheese and ate the slice on its own which is in its own right, is sub par. Great for drunk late night snack, not for anything else.

Yelp
The last two times (I gave them another chance) the pizzas were ruined by the crusts. Over done, hard to chew, and actually burnt in places. Don't think I'm going back.

Jim o.

Yelp
I was in town for a baseball tournament and was staying at Deerhaven campground. The girl answering the phone was very pleasant and answered all of my questions. Delivery showed up on time and the driver was very friendly. The pizza I ordered was delicious but the wings were amazing. They were absolutely huge, seasoned perfect and covered in the right amount of sauce. Will definately order from here again when in town.

Yelp
Late night baseball game and nothings open? Check out Tino's Pizzeria! We were so relieved to see them open about midnight after a game at Cooperstown ASV. They were literally life savers. The service was fast and attentive! Delicious pizza. We ordered a large pizza to go and had a few slices at the restaurant. I would definitely recommend if you're in a pinch. Ambiance is what you would expect from a pizza joint.

Yelp
Spaghetti, fries and service were great! Thank you to the staff that took care of us and gifting our baseball boys their pin.

Yelp
This is one of those must eat locations in the area. Great pizza. Friendly service. Nice open restaurant with plenty of room. Can't go wrong.

D L.

Yelp
Good atmosphere . Prices are high for the quality of food. Great for late night bites.

Justin K.

Yelp
Get the Walter. Omg it's amazing. So freaking good. Definitely worth a visit. It's very yummy.

Yelp
I FINALLY made it here for a slice of pizza with cold cheese! In the late 1990s, in my college days, a friend raved about this "famous" Oneonta pie! She would even get our pizza place in Troy to make one up for us! My husband and I stopped in on a quiet mid September afternoon as we drove from Albany to Ithaca, it was finally time to try this unique concoction. The pizza was fairly average, but the cold cheese on top made it next level. My husband had never heard of this concept before, so we each tried one. We ordered ours to go so the cold cheese was bagged, we received quite a generous portion. Not sure when I'll be back to Oneonta, but this was a good quick and reasonable lunch stop.

Fred S.

Yelp
Best Pizza in O town! Without a doubt great quality, great sauce and cooked right, closest to NY pizza around

Desire P.

Yelp
This Oneonta staple under new ownership has definitely disappointed our visit pizza is lacking of craftsmanship perhaps inexpensive ingredients? A total fiasco when we order wings ask for buffalo mild the flavor was awful the smell was of spoiled and the look was like the wings were from the garbage one word disgusting! Expansive and the help is always rude and short that's when they not outside the door smoking who knows what not what it use to be. Place always smells like dirty oil burning maybe that explain the color of my wings. Cheap paint and frames does not replace a tradition of good food. Won't be back. Don't waste your money. Other many choices

Jayme R.

Yelp
Pizza was so good we ate twice the week we were in town! Wings were top notch h too!
google avatar

Melissa N.

Yelp
We had a bartender in Cooperstown recommend we go have a slice of cold cheese pizza from this place. And let me tell you it did NOT disappoint. So delicious!! Now that I'm home I might just put a handful of cold mozzarella on all my pizzas
google avatar

Christopher H.

Yelp
Cold cheese slice, what else is there to say? Oh yeah it's a really good slice from a local place!
google avatar

Jeff M.

Yelp
Good food good atmosphere fresh fast and friendly . Right on main street so convenient to other places bars and shops

Yelp
Seeing some of the reviews about drunk customers/patrons makes me glad I came here in the summer while college students were no where to be seen. My kids and I came here pretty late at night, about an hour almost before closing. It was nice and empty. There weren't many people around and the weather was nice and warm, so we grabbed a seat outside. We ordered a 12" inch pizza with half sausage and bacon, and half cheese only. I also asked for cold cheese on the side since everyone seemed to rave about it. The pizza was freshly made and the ingredients used were good quality. The cheese was hot and gooey and the crust was perfectly cooked. The bacon and sausage was made from quality meats. I also put some cold cheese on mine and honestly it was just ok with the cold cheese. The pizza was tastier and I enjoyed it more without the cold cheese. The only thing I'm deducting points for here was the sauce. I could hardly taste it and felt it could've used more. Not sure if that's a New York pizza thing though. But overall, the pizza was enjoyable.

Yelp
Tino's isn't the only one touting its cold cheese pizza. It gets praised in the HuffPost article "This Cold Cheese Pizza Is The Cult Favorite Your Life Has Been Missing." This item delivers what it promises, even if it wasn't as groundbreaking as I hoped. The normal hot slice itself is fine. The cold mozzarella is fine. The juxtaposition won't disappoint those who traffic in paradigms of textural contrasts. The counter guy was helpful and enthusiastic.

Arnold G.

Yelp
Very good they have really good French fries and the pepperoni pizza was good and cheese pizza was really good

Rob G.

Yelp
Real good pizza not much more to stay expect that my favorite has to be there deep dish pizza

Yelp
This was the first restaurant I went to in Oneonta when I first toured the SUNY campus 4 years ago. This is the place to be on a Friday night and Tino's has the best garlic knots I've tried from anywhere. I really like the history of the cold cheese pizza and how it was created to not burn the roof of your mouth. Cheese lover over here! The specialty slices are all delicious. I've tried the cold cheese, BBQ Chicken, Artichoke, and General Tso's slice. Tino's is conveniently located in the center of main street. If you park at the huge parking lot and walk right over the bridge, Tino's is right there. It's a one minute walk from the OPT main bus stop. All roads lead to Tino's. The only downside to Tino's is that it gets pretty packed on St.Oney's day, Friday and Saturday nights and does not have a bathroom, so if you're standing on line for a long time or want to wash your hands, you'll have to look elsewhere. I also called to order my specialty vegetable slice which is on the online version of the Tino's menu and was told they did not make these...

Yelp
The Margherita Pizza was good as was the cold cheese pizza. It took an hour to get my order and four tables that came in after me, got food well before us. When I inquired about our food, the guy behind the counter said, "Can't you see we are a little backed up." I should have asked for a refund right then. I definitely will not go back if there is a line.
google avatar

Frank M.

Yelp
Always a good meal. Fresh and quickly delivered. Staff is is very friendly and happy to assist
google avatar

Karenza W.

Yelp
It would be great if they weren't dicks about masks. ‍ I feel as if the "home of the cold pizza" is an excuse for crappy cold pizza.
google avatar

Christine M.

Yelp
Came for a college tour and this place was recommended!! The line was to the door, but for good reason! The pizza is delicious!!! I want my daughter to attend college here so we can come back! They have something called cold cheese pizza which seems to be the rage.... I am hoping to try it on my next visit to Oneonta!
google avatar

Melissa S.

Yelp
i am telling you GET THE MR. OCTOBER PIE i don't even eat pizza like that but i come waddling back every week for more
google avatar

Wind E.

Yelp
Went for the pizza with cold cheese. If you love cheese, you've gotta try it! Service is great!

Christina S.

Yelp
Great for late night shenanigans. They never kick me out when I'm too drunk. The Walter slice slaps.
google avatar

Algernon H.

Yelp
I say, Whilst the allure is cold-cheese pizza is a "when in Rome" rite of passage, the novelty wears off to reveal an establishment often patronized by drunk and belligerent college students. That said, come before the drinking crowd and you may very well have some decent pizza. Better than sal's at least. In short, come here if nina's is closed or you want cold cheese
google avatar

Juliet M.

Yelp
Good pizza. Personally I think the cold cheese a little overrated but everything else is worth it! The service is also really great!
google avatar

Karolina S.

Yelp
Tino's staff is awesome. They have a great assembly line going, and have you in and out within minutes. Huge variety of slices, and always fresh. I work late nights some days, and this is always a reliable place to stop by for a quick bite on break. Have not tried any of their entrees or subs, but sounds like the basics from a pizza shop. I buy my pies here for after rugby matches, and my players devour the sheet pizzas in seconds. One of my top 5 spots in Oneonta for a slice.

Jody N.

Yelp
Perfect New York slice with thin crispy crust. Reasonable priced and low key seating.

Tyler B.

Yelp
Waited 15 minutes to order a cold cheese slice and a Mr.October slice. Was served a cheese slice and a Buffalo chicken slice. When I addressed the issue the worker told me that's all they have and there is nothing she can do. Absolute joke of a business

Jonathan A.

Yelp
Great service, was there for my son baseball week at Cooperstown village went there daily for lunch! Great New York style pizza abd great staff! Thank you

Lorena M.

Yelp
The 4ft sandwich I ordered was great! Ordered it for our baseball teams party when we were in town to play at ASV Cooperstown. Everyone loved it!
google avatar

Crystal P.

Yelp
My mom is moving up to the area so we went up to check it out. Of course it had to be a crazy rain storm so we stayed in and decided on pizza. Being from long island I was prepared to be disappointed. Instead I ended up being beyond shocked that the pizza was delicious and putting cold cheese on top just omg. I'm happy when I go visit my mom there will be a good pizza place for us :P if in the area this is the place to go! For pizza.

Yelp
Flavorless, over-priced pizza. They must have named "The Bland Houses" in Queens after trying Tino's. There was a sign out front (8:30 p.m.) for two regular slices plus a fountain drink for $6.00. The locals running the place stated, "Oh, that was the lunch special. The dinner special is fifty cents more." Staff members were WAY too excited to be getting over on a tourist for fifty cents. How about changing the price on your sign to reflect your "dinner" special? Unimpressed with the flavorless food and unprofessional service. Come on, people. Get it together. Advice to locals: Try some pizza with flavor!

Jeanne R.

Yelp
Went over for a take out dinner. Had a 12" meat lovers and some garlic knots. Both super solid would bet getting a side of marinara with the knots would be great. Very satisfied with what we got slight discount for cash!
google avatar

Kate K.

Yelp
COLD CHEESE PIZZA!!!!! (shut up joey, its good so stfu) Annoying yes how the addition of un-melted, cold mozz will up the price of a basic slice but damn its worth it. I bought a block of mozz to make my own now, whenever i get a pie. Inside is nothing special, its a college pizza spot. The bathroom is a single stall reminiscent of a trailer mixed with Joann's fabrics and Woolworths circa 1982. Prob hasn't been thoroughly cleaned since then either, so make sure to sani. Also the young-ish chick with the bowl cut doesn't know how to count correct change so double check what she is giving back.

lynsey j.

Yelp
The line was long but the food was great. I got there pizza and salad the best ! Love the dressing and the garlic knots
google avatar

Thomas M.

Yelp
Great place for a slice in Oneonta. Home if the cold cheese pizza. (I know it sounds funny, but get a slice. I don't think you'll regret it). Staff was pretty friendly & the service was good. Will definitely go back if I'm ever in town again.

Tricia M.

Yelp
We eat a lot of pizza every where we go! And we were blown away with how incredible this pizza was. The crust was crispy on the bottom but still had good chew to it. The sauce was very tasty! We just kept saying to each other turn around go back we need more! Really great! If your in town! A must try if your looking for good pizza! We will stop in every time we are in town for SURE!

Yelp
Where do I start. Unfortunately we had to deal with the drunk crowd waiting on line to be served this place gets so much praise for what I see is no reason. The restaurant itself is filthy. Grease stains all over the walls and decor, overall looking very gross. The staff though themselves are very nice. We were greeted amongst the craziness and we ordered two slices. Expensive slices I may add, $4.25 for a special slice was a bit much for what we got in return. It took them a couple minutes to reheat some slices and we got them shoved in a bag and we were on our way out. They did respect COVID rules by ordering the drunk groups of girls and guys to vacate the restaurant if they got their food since they wouldn't leave the cramped room. We ate our slices outside on the bench and we were nothing but dissatisfied. The cheese felt artificial and cheap. No pull or stretch more of a rip from a low quality cheese that had almost no flavor. The sauce as well did nothing but add some moisture to the slice and also tasted like nothing. After having this slice right after trying Nina's down the street, there was no competition and one clear winner. Also the large amounts of grease that pooled the top of the pizza we had to dab off was not very appetizing. Therefore it really makes me wonder why people go crazy over the two Sals and Tino's when Ninas is down the street for a cheaper slice and FAR better. I'd say be your own judge but for my girlfriend and me there was no debate. The slice just sucked. Hope this review helps and give Nina's a shot.

Barbie B.

Yelp
Super delicious in every way! I must have had a lot of bad pizza over the past year or so....anyway this was sooo good, I had to shout about it. The portions were huge and the cheese was gooey and delicious and authentic, chewy traditional thin crust, I just loved it in every way. The salad was well put together and generous in size. Delivery was quick and friendly. I am definitely planning a return trip.
