Tinteo Candelaria

We arrived shortly before closing and were well received and staff very friendly. The waitress Veronica, was very attentive, welcoming and willing to please. We had expresso's, lattes and drinks which were delicious. I highly recommend stopping for food and drinks. Love the ambiance and cozy atmosphere.

Nice looking restaurant at the inside garden of a building, where you can have lunch or dinner surrounded by the beautiful architecture and plants. Staff is very friendly and helpful. However, quality of the dishes is unfortunately quite poor. The menu of cocktails is quite extensive, but the wine options are very limited (and don't taste good).

Really nice place in the middle of Candelaria, very close to the Cathedral. Fair prices. Lovely yard. I ate the Ajiaco de Santa Fé de Bogotá 🇨🇴. Excellent. Note it has cilantro.

Its takes a lot for me to give a poor review, but this place earned it. The only thing going for it is the location close to Plaza Bolivar and the beautiful garden courtyard. That being said, the food was mediocre at best, very bland and quite overpriced (you would expect that given the location). The service, however, was even worse. Abysmal. Took much too long to get drinks and food, and to get anyone's attention to try and order. When we did manage to flag someone down (yes we actually had to do that), they seemed bothered to help us. When they were out of the vodka part of a vodka and Coke Zero, the server just left a bottle of regular Coke (not Diet) on the table and walked away. I really wanted to food to be at least passable and service to be decent, because the setting is so beautiful, especially when the weather is nice. Oh well, I won't be returning. ------------- Follow-up: since a restaurant representative asked me to elaborate and low-key suggested I might not be telling the truth, let me do so. We went on a weekend for lunch, I believe it was July 26th or 27th, at around 2pm. And no, they don't have a vodka and Coke Zero on the menu, so we ordered a shot (trago) of Vodka and a Coke Zero and even though they don't show that on the menu, the server took our order for a shot and a Coke Zero. really wish the restaurant would have asked us how they could make our experience better instead of suggesting that the review wasn't truthful.

The service is a little bit slow, the waitress was friendly and the food is good. Very good prices.

Traditional Colombian restaurante with typical distes. Highly recommended for breakfast. Beautiful patio and garden to enjoy while tasting great food.
