We had a wine group meeting here. The staff is very knowledgeable and the service was excellent. I am not well versed in wine but have been enjoying finding wine I like for quite a while. I will say the best, and 2nd wine I have had was from Tinto's . I don't remember which they were or I would share . I really like dry red.

Wonderful selection os wines and the cheese boards are delightful. I recommend you come and try. They have wine taste as well.

If you are visiting Virginia. Tinto Winery is the best place to visit. Brandon was a great host. Shaina the owner was absolutely amazing. If I can give 10 stars I would. Thank you for making our Mother’s Day experience wonderful.

This place is fantastic. The atmosphere is lovely and happy, the selection of wines are incredible, and the staff are just amazing. Shoutouts to Kylie and Braden! If you like wines, and enjoy cheeses and other pairings, definitely come here.

The staff are some of our most favorite people ever! Casey and Kaylee are always knowledgeable on wines and make spot on recommendations that can suit any pallet. Eliza crushes the kitchen and is so fun to chat with. Everyone is so friendly, fun and willing to help in any way. Never a bad time at Tinto in Chesapeake!

Let me preface the review with this- This review is limited to their paella night. We've been twice and both were wonderful. The wine pairings were unique and enjoyable. (On at least one occasion we left with several bottles). The atmosphere is cozy and very family like. The service was excellent both times. Really need to go back for a "regular " evening.

We came for paella night to the Chesapeake location. What a cute spot! The team was very helpful in getting our reservation confirmed, and settling us in for the experience. They have a wide variety of wines available, and feature different regions throughout the month. They also plan international trips to explore the various regions from which their wines originate! Love their passion for wine education. Looking forward to a return visit.

This is such a good spot for a date. We actually came for valentines during the day and they had a cute little theme. It's great cause I can get wine and my husband can get Bourbon. The charcuterie board is huge! You also get the vibe of just a local owned business so service is personal. 10/10 would recommend

So very mad!!! Ok so my husband and I went looking for a charcuterie board because we have been on a charcuterie fix the last week. So they gave us this to go box. It's supposed for two people however I think it's for one. They give bread for two people. You get like literally two slices of each meat, a cup of mixed nuts, not full, a tiny fig cut in half and some other crap. Now the photo that is on google is definitely not what I received. The woman said that the box was $14 for two people. It's for one. When we got to the register I got charged $28 plus tax. So we were think there was a lot in the box. Nope. So they lied. Next time will check box before leaving from anywhere. (We will not return to this place.)She opened it but all we saw was bread on top and you can't move the items so we figured the bottom was full of assorted items. We were so way off. My husband is livid! Will not return to this place ever again. I included the receipt to show that this thing said for two people.

This is a great little hidden gem in a strip mall. Fantastic service with a huge selection of wines. We did a wine tasting along with charcuterie board and it was great. Highly recommend.

We went to celebrate a friends 40th birthday... service was great... the wine tasting was fun... the charcuterie board was a complete rip off... we paid $20 a piece and we're served a board that would probably feed 2 people with bread... we literally spent $120 on this tiny board. It was WAY over priced. I would never have ordered food if I knew for $20 I would get a slice of cheese and a couple pieces of meat.

Great atmosphere for some tapas and wine. Staff was very friendly and assisted with choosing the perfect drink. We enjoyed the bottle and purchased another to take home.

Went tonight for a tasting of wines from Greece. The wines were all enjoyable and a nice mix of two whites, a Rose' and two reds. The amount served on the charcuterie board seems to have gotten smaller since our last visit possibly due to the cost of everything being on the rise! We did have to ask for a menu, ask to place an order and ask to check out but overall is was a nice evening out.

First time here. Made a special trip to buy my sweetheart some Pinot Grigio. They didn't have any! Who doesn't have Pinot Grigio? The lady told me while laughing "I guess our Tuesday crowd bought us out!" This Friday. VERY disappointed. Went back a couple of months ago, the gentleman was very helpful and personable. I'll give it another chance.

When traveling back from North Carolina and I with my husband, this is another one of their locations that we visit. It's bigger than the original sister store. This location can accommodate more people easily. They also have a sofa with a couple of leather chairs to relax in and let's not forget to mention that this location differs from the original Tinto is that this location carries a small selection of draft beers, mind you that they only have 3 to choose from and not being a beer drinker, I wouldn't be surprised if the small selection is pretty diverse in taste. So maybe someone should give it a try.

Went here for a networking event and had a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. Very good but I did not get the name of it. I also ordered a cheese and charcuterie plate which was very tasty. It has a great ambiance and they were doing specials for the night. The Chesapeake location is a bit far out but I believe there is another location in Virginia Beach. Either way, it's a great place for groups and to bring family. Definitely thinking of taking my mom here!

Came her for a Rotary meeting with my uncle. Loved the wine, and all that the owners had to share.

My friend is a member here, and we stopped by for a tasting early on a Saturday. Our pourer was friendly and knowledgeable. We had the whole place to ourselves, and I thought th3 wines were pretty good. I noticed they were all about the same price point though, which was a little pricey, but I definitely plan on going back. There is some kind of event happening here almost every day.

I love this place! We are members and go on a weekly basis for tastings and food specials. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, amazing wines you can't find anywhere else and perfect menu items for noshing on with a glass of wine. Love that you can sample any bottle before you buy it. They have a lot of unique things going for them that set them apart from so many other wine "shops" - it's so much more than a place to grab a bottle of wine, but if that's all you need to do then you can find really great affordable bottles here as well. We are regulars for a reason!

I came in here for Father's Day for a special gift. They were very knowledgeable and let me taste the wines I was interested in. The gentleman that helped me was very friendly and the store was warm and inviting.

I preface this by saying I had previously gone to the hilltop location a few times and loved it. This location is also a cute little store just like the other location and we interacted with some of the same staff from hilltop that happened to be in chesapeake that day. But the girl that helped us acted like she was new and had no idea what I was talking about when I told her I paid the membership and wanted to do one of those tastings. The experience she gave us was nothing like hilltop and not really in a good way. And maybe it was my mistake and they dont have a set tasting list at that location but she just asked me what I wanted to drink and gave me an actual splash of things she thought I might like until i settled for what I wanted a full glass of. I do a lot of wine tastings and I've never had one like that. I've been to a bar/restaurant and asked to try a wine before ordering a whole glass and gotten that kind of splash/response but not to somewhere that gives tastings. But maybe they dont do tastings there and it was just my mistake. Either way she was pretty awkward and I wouldn't want to drink wine with her there again.

My husband and I are members here and absolutely love to come in for tastings! We always learn about new wines when we go there. I highly recommend for a date night with your hunny or with the ladies. They also have a few local beers on tap and a small menu (cheese plate is amazing, as are the sandwiches!) the sommeliers are very knowledgeable about the wines and it's a totally casual environment- not stuffy. Great place to learn about wines. :)

Fantastic neighborhood wine shop with something unique for all tastes and budgets. In addition to a very talented staff, Tinto serves wonderful food including tapas, sandwiches, salads, cheeses, and charcuterie. Once a month they host a themed wine pairing dinner and this month is Spanish/Mediterranean cuisine. Another great feature of Tinto is their "try before you buy" policy. They use Corvin to allow for a sample pour which also keeps the bottle sealed and trash. In addition to wines by the glass they also have some local craft brews on tap. Match that with some food and wine loving neighbors and Tinto can't be beat!

Favorite date night! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Especially helpful for someone new to wine. Wine selection is great. But remember they are a small business, not a grocery store, so wines are limited. They offer classes that are very interesting and informative if you sign up for their emails and/or the wine club. The food is great! Nice light eats. Little gem in Chesapeake!

I love it shall I say I "loved" this place until they upgraded the restaurant recently. It was cozy and Quaint and awesome place to go for Chesapeake. You can have a glass of wine And a charcuterie board that is close to home. There are not a lot of choices here in Chesapeake and finally there's a place where girls can go out and have a glass of wine talk and laugh or a cozy couples night out. However, recently they made changes to the tables chairs in the atmosphere and I feel it's gone from cozy and quaint to now uncomfortable. The chairs were so uncomfortable I felt like I had to sit up high and scoot to the end of my chair because they were digging into the back of my legs. Obviously chairs and table don't make the atmosphere but what they had before was something that was quite cozy to now more cafeteria style. If something is already working and people love what you have why go and change it so drastically? For that reason I give it 3 stars.
