The 38 Best Restaurants in Toronto, Canada | Eater

"Alongside his partner Danielle Soule, owner and chef Erich Mrak wields a range of pasta strands and shapes in this diminutive 620-square-foot bakery and bodega, utilizing experience he gained under pastaio David Marcelli and chef Daniel Usher. Once a month, Soule and Mrak transform the shop into a secret-ish, 14-seat supper club offering a seven-course tasting menu, including four pastas (such as pistachio capellini with duck demi-glace and orange gastrique), a seasonal salad (like melon with prosciutto and gorgonzola cream), lofty house-made sourdough focaccia, and limoncello tiramisu. Know before you go: If you can’t make the supper club, a weekly pasta and house-made sandwiches are available as a takeout lunch special from Thursday to Sunday." - Tiffany Leigh

The tasting menu experience was wonderful. If you can get a spot, it’s a must try for elevated pasta lovers. The dining room is small and intimate, and you get to know the chefs throughout the experience. The 3 person team takes care of the whole experience so you must be patient between dishes, but they still manage to offer exceptional service. My only complaint is the metal stools become uncomfortable after a while, however, they were meant for classes and not long dining experiences. Thank you Tiny Market team for accommodating a vegetarian and pescatarian modifications, and for an overall exceptional and memorable evening.

We had a blast taking the pasta making class. We buy pasta here regularly and decided to finally try it. Definitely worth it. Danielle was great and made the experience. Erich's dishes (with some of our freshly made pasta) were really good. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to do something fun and interactive for any occasion.

What an incredible little operation. We went for the pasta tasting night and it was an amazing experience. Such a humble and wonderful couple who runs this place and the food-10/10. This experience restored my faith in Toronto dining and I would say it's the best tasting menu the city now has to offer in terms of quality, taste and execution.

How lucky was I, to wander in coincidentally on their 3rd year anniversary and get to try THREE specials. I cannot *believe* how delicious everything was, but the raviolo was truly life-changing for me (look at the photo, COME ON!). Everything was perfectly cooked, stunningly presented, and served with so much friendliness and warmth; it’s clear these folks take incredible pride in their work. Everything was very sensibly priced too. This is a small business that I feel really good supporting.

Their fall 2024 pasta tasting menu. The two owners truly make everyone feel like family. I've had a private tasting night prior and gotten take out. This place is so incredible and each dish is made so thoughtfully. Their pasta nights are BOYB(D) which allows for you to pick some wonderful wines to accompany the dishes.

Love this place 🥹 Always looking forward to what they’re serving for the week especially on Fridays. It usually gets busy but the pasta is so worth it.

Some of the freshest and best tasting pasta in the city. A small cozy place with super friendly staff! Been there multiple times and they’ve always delivered. My recent trip there I had a beet cream pasta and was blown away by the sophistication and taste.

I gifted my best friend a pasta making class with Tiny and we had an absolute blast! The entire staff were extremely friendly and encouraging, and were very clearly knowledgeable and passionate about their craft. Following our class, Eric prepared some of the pasta we had made for us to enjoy alongside some house made focaccia, and it was one of the tastiest meals I have had in Toronto. I went home that evening with a full belly and lots of pasta to enjoy! Even before I formally met Eric and the rest of the staff at Tiny, I had passed by the shop many times and have always felt welcomed. It’s really special to find a local spot with friendly staff who genuinely want to get to know and become a beloved part of the community. I can’t wait to go back to the shop, have a friendly chat, and pick up some delicious pasta!

Yelp
Great little spot in the Annex! The food was delicious and the staff was awesome. They set up some tables for our group for lunch and helped split the dishes so that we could try a bit of everything. The pasta was authentic and the sandwiches were some of the best I've had. I would definitely recommend this great spot to everyone!

Yelp
Absolutely delicious gem in Toronto. There's barely a table inside this little shop so the name is really fitting. They were able to throw together a little patio seating for my group for lunch but expect lunch takeouts as the norm. Look out for some delicious fresh pasta in some unique shapes. This visit we had the casarecce All'Amatriciana along with some sandwiches and fresh focaccia. Absolutely delicious! I heard normally there are lineups outside the door in the evening and they do some multi-course tasting nights but it's incredibly hard to get a reservation given such a small space. I'm glad I got to try this spot and definitely highly recommend you try them for takeout and enjoy at home.

Yelp
Amazing!!! Stopped in with my family of four for lunch. Pasta special was carbonara. It was amazing. My four year old devoured it. We also got the chicken pesto sandwich. I would definitely go back.
