The Best Kosher Restaurants and Markets in Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"Tucked inside the back of an Israeli grocery and market, Tip Top’s food counter features a small selection of freshly made sandwiches available in a pita or on a baguette. Choose from a pastrami toasted sandwich or go for an Israeli-style fried chicken schnitzel sandwich stuffed with hummus, eggplant, pickles, and other condiments. Grab some baked goods and snacks in the market, too." - Robbie Medwed

Where to Find Hanukkah Sufganiyot or Jelly Doughnuts in Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"I find Tip Top Kosher Market tucked in a nondescript strip mall beside I-285 on the edge of Chamblee and looking more like a convenience store than a grocery; its traditional sufganiyot are flown in from Israel and should be ordered a day or two in advance. While picking up your order, I recommend grabbing other imports and staples they carry — imported beer and snack foods, salads, and some of Tip Top’s notable dairy products." - Robbie Medwed

Best Neighborhood Markets and Local Grocery Stores in Atlanta For Grocery Shopping | Eater Atlanta

"Tip Top Kosher Market looks more like a convenience store than a grocery and restaurant. The market offers a vast selection of Israeli products, including dairy, pantry staples, snack foods, skin and hair care products, and beer. After shopping, grab some fresh pastries like bourekas, one of the market’s salads, falafel and hummus, fried chicken schnitzel, or a panini from the small restaurant in back." - Eater Staff

Overall it’s ok! I try to support Isreali’s wherever I go, it’s absolutely expensive store , but some items I like to buy from here when I travel to Atlanta. Selection is ok , it’s not a big store but they have a variety of items. The restaurant food was pretty good, $20 for pita with shawarma not cheap but again it was pretty good. The fresh bakery was good. I dislike the fact most items do not have a price and you need to ask on each item so that was very annoying! Also came home after buying a Hummus 4 days ago and date says march 1 2024 (it should be good for 2 months from purchase date) just opened it and it’s moldy 😳 I’m very bummed about this especially after paying $11 for Hummus !!!!

The little restaurant is inside a market with Israeli goods. It feels like little Israel! There’s parking out front, but if there are no spots available, there’s more parking at the back of the building. I ordered with the cashier and when it was ready, my food was on the counter by the takeout window next to the cashier’s counter. There’s a small area with tables and chairs, plus a counter, for dining in. For the pastries, you get a styrofoam container or a paper bag, then use the tongs. You bring it to the cashier, show them what you got, and then pay. I got the Shawarma Platter ($19) with rice. It came with Israeli salad, hummus, and tahini. It was delicious, but I also tried the Shawarma Sandwich on pita ($16), and I thought that was even better. Every pastry I’ve had has been delicious. Highly recommend just trying them all! Not sure about individual prices, but I got 6 pastries and it came out to about $10-$11. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic selection of middle eastern/Mediterranean food. Nice atmosphere, the staff is very kind and make excellent recommendations from menu (restaurant in back). Good place for kids, not huge, but these small places are usually the best places to eat. Entire restaurant/market is kosher.

A tiny kosher market in the middle of Dunwoody with fresh pastries and home cooked meals, as well as a significant kosher shopping experience.

Came here last week. Was very excited to try the food but disappointed to find out the the restaurant closed at 4. Since the store hours read they are open until 6, it was assumed would serve food until closing. Especially since it's dinner time. Ended up buying lots of snacks instead and was extremely disappointed with quality of the products. They tasted stale and the chocolate purchased tasted very off. Couldn't figure out the expiration date. I attached the photo. There are no dates or numbers anywhere else on the packaging.

Awful Sufignyot donuts. I was so looking forward to getting fresh donuts for Hanukkah. I bought 6 donuts and the cost was $20. I served them to friends and family and they were the worst donuts we ever had. They were so dry and dense. We were expecting them to filled with jelly but there was merely a drop of jelly to make them look like they had jelly. Way overpriced for donuts. I mine as well get some krispy kreme or dunkin donuts instead which are better and less expensive too. The Halvah was $20 for a piece, but that at least tasted good. I would love to support a kosher market, but you cant stay in business with this model.

Freshly cooked chicken and vegetables is quite nice.
