"At Pasta Supremo and The Salted Plum, we always make it a point to have our staff meal together once lunch service is over — this is also the time we tend to get a little mischievous and pull pranks on each other. Recently, we battered a dish sponge (new and clean) to look like a fried chicken dish we were serving that day and waited for an unlucky staff to take a big bite of the spongy imposter. His reaction was priceless! We’ve also prepared a special meatball that was filled with chopped chili padi (bird’s eye chili) for one of our staff that has a ridiculously low spice tolerance. For everyday laughs and giggles, I’ve added ingredients such as salt and vinegar to my sous chef’s water bottle which usually results in him trying to hold a spit-take." - Rachel Tan

First time trying out their pasta after reading the Google reviews. You get to select the type of pasta. Ordered their Absolute Alfredo, Seafood Sensation and Truffle Fries. We added toppings to one of the pasta. Could only commended that the truffle fries was the best of the 3 dishes. Both pasta were nothing outstanding and the tiger prawns were tiny. Total damage was $81+ (included tax) for two persons. Food wise rating at 3.4/5. It would be high just based on truffle fries.

Rating considering the price, expectation was not met I don't visit many Italian cuisine. Food taste home cooked, pasta sauce is fresh and not over powering. Overall taste ok but unlikely to pay at this price again. Service is friendly. Nothing else to justify the additional 9%. Atmosphere - ok. Background music so so...

Dined on a Saturday night and placed orders around 845pm. The food took a while like 30mins to be served even though the restaurant was relatively empty. Ordered the calamari, carbonara and alfredo. The fried calamari which was about $20 looked like leftover crusts. The carbonara was so bland even though I had paid for truffle oil which I couldn’t even taste a hint of it and the egg came out overcooked. I had to send it back to the kitchen and even then it took 10mins. Alfredo was bland too. We had requested for iced water but the staff gave us a cup with only the ice cubes too 😭 I think the staff knew that the food served was below standard as after they had asked if we enjoyed the food and we feedback that it could be better, they replied “yeah, sorry because it’s late and we’re almost closing.” I don’t think that’s a valid excuse as we had ordered before 9pm, during the time last orders were already being asked (idk if it should be asked that early) and there was still an hour before closing. There were small black bugs on the dried noodles hanged and on the cushioned seats which was not pleasant to see while eating. I had to flick 1-2 off from the seat because they were crawling on it. Hope the standard improves, the staff gets trained better and the restaurant be more clean/hygienic.

Am amazing and affordable place for lunch. The pasta was top quality, packed with flavour and nuanced control of herbs. The Arriabata had some good heat to it, so the addition of a generous dollop of burata really complemented it well. Thanks so much Tipo!

Highly recommend the build your own pasta as whatever you choose will definitely be suited to your taste and to your liking ! Amazing pasta and service despite the extremely crowded night. Brought my parents there as i really liked the pasta and despite both of them not being fans of pasta, they really enjoyed it and would eat there again :) The prawns were fresh and meaty and pink sauce was super good, not too thick or heavy tasting either

One service staff was very helpful and helped to replace my faulty chair. However, he did not recommend the day's pasta and just left the pasta samples on the table. Truffle fries were great. They did not have ketchup or chilli sauce. Taro pasta was cooked too soft. The duck meat had tendons(?) so not the most tender.

Spacious and visually fancy dine in place. But a little empty. A place for you to customize your pasta if that is what you like. Many appetizers in the menu are not available so that a big bummer. The pesto was just alright. No strong pesto flavor and can’t see the olive oil despite asking for extra. The service is average. Despite serving fries, they don’t have ketchup or other sauce to provide. The waitress gave me unhappy look when I requested.

Their pasta is delicious, and the portions are generous too! We ordered the Absolute Alfredo and Seafood Sensation, both dishes tasted great. Service was excellent, and all the staff were super friendly. It wasn't too crowded when we went, even though it was lunchtime on the weekend.
