There’s a Not-So-Secret Bar Hiding Inside New East Bay Mini Golf Course Tipsy Putt on Bay Street | Eater SF

"At the newest Bay Street location in Emeryville (5690 Bay Street), I found a compact nine-hole mini golf course centered on a Bay Bridge model that still delivers the thrill of a hole-in-one; beyond the obvious draw of mini golf there are TVs, board games, oversized Connect Four, and plans for weekly trivia night and drag bingo. The bar runs the length of the back wall with 40 drinks on tap featuring many local breweries — Calicraft, Original Pattern, Faction, Dokkaebier, Ghost Town — and a handful of whimsically named tap cocktails like the Putter’s Paloma and I’ll Beat Steph Curry at Mini Golf, a rum and Coke with lime and “delusions of grandeur.” Food is casual Mexican meant for sharing: nachos piled with queso, black beans, jalapeños, sour cream and guac (with optional chicken, carnitas, barbacoa, or potato soyrizo); four taco styles, two burrito sizes, mini quesabirria quesadillas, salads, and burrito bowls ordered at a kiosk near the takeout window. Tipsy Putt debuts Wednesday, February 1 and is open 11 a.m.–11 p.m. Sunday–Thursday and 11 a.m.–2 a.m. Friday–Saturday; the space becomes 21+ after 5 p.m." - Dianne de Guzman

Google
Really dope area that you can walk around, pop into different stores and shop around. Great beer selection, all on draft. Some cocktails and mixed drinks on tap as well. I had a Hefeweizen from SF and a local Oktober beer as well, both very good. Reasonable prices, good service. Plenty of TV’s. Also played one quick round of mini golf inside. Fun little 9 hole course with real putters to choose from. Only downside is $15 for a round of putt putt that takes 10-15 minutes seems steep. Good experience though.

Google
I was expecting a bigger mini golf (i have been to other ones so normally you have plenty of holes and space). In pictures here is google review and in the social media of the place it looked bigger. I went with my mother (74 years old). We went in December and had fun. We bought a groupon coupon and paid a combo of mini golf and 2 drinks. On top of that we shared nachos which were tasty. The place has a mini golf, a bar and a few other arcade h It has more vibes of a college bar than a mini golf . So I think it will be a great plan for college students or to go after work.

This place was GREAT FUN for my family. After 5pm it becomes 21 and older. My Wife and I took our 11year old and had a blast 💥! Mini golf ⛳️ and table top golf was the highlight of our time. Plenty of beer tap 🍻 choices and mix drinks 🍹 for my wife, our little one had soda 🥤, and we were all HAPPY. The golf rounds are pretty fast, so we decided to get the unlimited rounds of golf. On the last putt hole the ball gets locked into a box.

We had a wonderful time! My husband my 15 yr old daughter, my best friend and her two teenage boys tried Tipsy Putt. The adults had delicious beers while the kids played mini golf for about an hour. The atmosphere was wonderful! After that game we all shared churro inspired doughnuts! I didn't get a chance to take pictures as we were having so much fun! But definitely will next time! Can't wait to go back. The staff is wonderful! Very happy and helpful! The putting green was $18.00 pp They allow pups outdoors/ and have a mini arcade! Good music too - Very clean! So nice!

Google
I chose Tipsy Putt for our company party. We are a small residential construction company of 4- but even still, it was nice to be able to book a table and food in advance. It was better than I expected with the feel of a sports bar, but with mini golf and some stand up golf table games, a full arcade, a long bar and lots of seating. Service was great! We all enjoyed ourselves!

Google
Came down to the place with my family. Got greeted at the counter by Amanda. Had the worst attitude he constantly. Gave us one word answers. There was a group of. Other customers that there were loud and obnoxious. No one said anything to them. The place was expensive. The mini Golf was boring. The only good thing about the place was the esthetic look. If you want to enjoy yourself, you be better off going to Alameda to subpar. But there was one guy there that came in that did greet me and my family older gentleman with a mustache and a beard, he did have a pleasant personality. But the other 2 people gave us the vibe that we weren't wanted there.

Google
Combo beer indoor putt putt course. Nice location, pleasant staff, good beer selections. Nice informal date/lunch spot - maybe for the weekend. Probably not a dinner date place unless you're stoned to start with. Made me and mine happy.

Google
Came in to watch some college football…Early when they opened. Ryan was outstanding. Great service. He was by himself behind the bar but worked hard and made sure I always had what I needed! Thanks Ryan. Best service I’ve had at a restaurant/bar in quite a while! Look forward to coming back! Cheers!

Yelp
We love going to Tipsy Putt! The staff is extremely friendly and the games are really fun, especially 1-2 Putt. They have one of the most extensive draft beer lists I've seen, and it's always from a collection of amazing local breweries. The cocktails are also excellent. The food is great, especially the tikka masala tacos (definitely try them!). We've been to a few locations besides the Emeryville one, and they all are great. They also have frequent events, change up the decor and/or games, and add new stuff to the menu so it's always a fun and unique time, even if you've been before!

Yelp
We came here for an evening team building event, after a full day of presentations and discussions. Located on Bay Street, Tipsy Putt is like a good sized sports bar with mini golf, UFO claw machines, photo booth, and even a few basketball games. Plenty of TV screens showing local sports and places to sit. The bar was very impressive. So many different local beers and huge variety of cocktails. You're better off ordering by number. I went for the lowest calorie drink - Vodka with Soda Water with Lemon. Simple, fizzy, and refreshing. For food, we had them set up a taco buffet. Chicken soft tacos were excellent and filling. I also liked their chips and spicy queso dip. Our group of 20+ people easily devoured the buffet so they had to do some refills. Street Parking is limited on Bay Street, even on Tuesday night. You can find plenty of hourly pay parking a block away in the Bay Street garage.

Yelp
I've been here a few times and enjoyed it, but within the past year the main bar area changed to pre mixed drinks that were a bit sweet for me and the area with the full bar is now an arcade. I liked that this place had the option for mini golf and an adult area but now it's more catered to what seems like a younger crowd. Service was great and the mini golf is the same but had a different experience in mind. Overall good place but I'm not sure I'll be back often.

Yelp
Had a fun day at Tipsy Putt. Started off with a drink, they have a great selection of local beers and cocktails. The cocktails are pre-made and they will pour you a glass as you order. The 9 holes are very close together, so it was fine for the group of 4 but it got crowded when groups behind us started catching up to us. They were nice though and said we can take our time instead of rushing to finish the hole. The new matte balls are nice and add a slight bounce compared to the previous balls, but both types of balls are available to pick from. After 9 holes of mini golf, we did 9 holes of the 1-2 putt game which is fun. I wish they would or could validate parking at Tipsy Putt, that would make parking at the busy Bay Street Shopping Center so much better!

Yelp
I went here with a bunch of young people from work. Meaning, they are still developing their taste and are easily attracted by cheap foods and OK drinks. The place was large inside and I was greeted upon entry. The person was very nice and I saw my group and went towards them. The person taking my order was also nice. There was a line but it went faster than I expected. That being said, I wanted to like this place more than I did. We got some food that reminded me of a grown up version of food found at Chuck E. Cheese. They had tacos and some other things, but the quality was about the same as Chuck's. They have a huge alcohol selection and some deals, however, I think it is a way to distract people from the poor quality of the food. They have a lot of games. We were there earlier in the evening so it wasn't packed. Our food came out in a reasonable time and the drinks were fine. But for the prices, I expect more. It seems very male oriented. The guys were enthralled with the games and to me I didn't understand them. Also, for putting, I would expect a larger space like you find at a kiddy putt place. I wasn't that tipsy to want to entertain paying for the privilage of enjoying their games. I saw it as a way to suck my money from me. So, the bottom line is that I got some tacos and they were three of the smallest tacos I'd ever tasted and I had to pay over $10 for the privilage. My co-workers started with the nachos, however, they'd been sitting for a while which is why I ordered the tacos. I sat, ate, conversed with co-workers and left. I probably won't be back.

Yelp
Came here for the first time this past Tuesday for a happy hour birthday celebration for a friend, party of 5, and it did not disappoint! They had a taco Tuesday deal where it was $10 for 3 tacos. We also got a bunch of other drinks, I had a couple GTLs (gin, tonic water, lemonade). We ended up doing a speedy round of mini golf between 10:20pm and 11pm (closing time), and they didn't charge us for it, probably because we had already bought so many drinks and it was so late. Casual vibes. You can order food at the bar as well Pros: - The taco tuesday deal is a steal to me - the tacos were normal sized and 3 for $10 basically doesn't exist anywhere else, does it?? - Great location that's easily accessible by AC transit. There's a parking lot if you want to drive, and the area is super nice looking with lots of establishments if you need to kill time (Barnes & Noble is great) - All the staff were super nice - Drinks were tasty and normal price - Casual spot, great for casual hangout with friends especially on weeknights, not too crowded - the mini golf area has a bunch of small tables you can rest your drinks on - fun cocktails and margaritas Cons: - The mini golf 9 holes are kind of cramped and definitely like kitschy with some almost impossible LOL, but when you're tipsy it doesn't really matter right? 10/10 will be back, a great place for bigger groups and super casual.

Yelp
Such a cute date spot! Tacos, cocktails, mini golf, and they have a photobooth. Located at the Bay Street shopping area. Very optimal if you're in the area. The 9 holes for mini golfing are packed together in one area and a little expensive for what it is, but I had a great time here regardless. Since the greens are so tiny, I feel like it's more luck than skill-based.. which is very fun in a competition.

Yelp
Came here for date night and had a blast! Located at Bay St. this place is a gem if you wanna play a quick game of mini golf. My bf found a Groupon deal which included 1 round of golf and 2 drinks which was a great deal. The mini golf area is small, but still fun. In addition to regular mini golf they have a "hand" table mini golf course which was just as fun. We didn't have any food, but the menu looked delicious. Many people around us were having the birria tacos and chips and guacamole. For cocktails, I had the spicy watermelon margarita and my bf had the regular margarita, both were well balance for being pre mixed. Bartenders were so nice too! The Photobooth was a nice touch, but I do wish they had some more "arcade games" other than basketball. Overall a great experience.

Yelp
We came here to have a birthday celebration. After 5pm it's 21 and over only. They serve bar bites and have a broad beer selection. Their cocktails are also good. We had people in our party that were under 21 so we had to leave and go celebrate elsewhere. But we liked the venue and will return again to mini golf and have drinks and snacks!
google avatar

Yelp
Fun date night place! Parking however is not free since you have to pay for mall parking. They have a great groupon deal where you get to play as well as grab a premade cocktail. The premade cocktails are delicious and easy to drink. The staff are very friendly as well.

Yelp
Posted hours state they are open until 1:30am. This is what we planned to do and got the hotel right by it and at 11:50pm walked thru the doors to the customer service stating they were closed. I won't be coming back due to unpredictable hours and nonchalant attitudes

Yelp
Sat at the bar on a random Saturday, instantly intrigued by the bar area not having a real bartender all drinks and beer are on tap so it makes the drink service incredibly fast! Nachos came out quick we accidentally ordered the smaller portion (still all good) We had a few drinks and didn't golf . We will be back for the putting experience but the music was good mixed crowd and everybody was smiling with a lil drink in their hand so it was cool in my book

Yelp
Tipsy Putt is such a fun place and the vibes are always chill. It's a great place for people of all ages and the few times I've been here I have seen a birthday party, large groups, couples, kids and older folks all having a great time. However it is important to note that it's all ages until 5pm and then after 5pm it's 21+ only. There's so much to do here: indoor golf course, watch a game or just grab a snack and drinks. The space itself is quite large and spacious, even when the place was filled with people it never felt cramped to me and there's ample seating at the bar booths or tables. The staff is very friendly and also attentive, I appreciated that they checked in from time to time to see if we needed anything. Their drink menu is quite extensive! For me, it was a bit overwhelming with all their options however they're great at making beer/cider recommendations and they do offer samples if you're unsure what drink to get. I believe they had about 40 drinks on tap as well as cocktails and wines - they don't have hard liquor though! Their food menu has a wide variety from chips to flatbread pizzas to tacos and more! I had the pretzels and the chips + guac which were great shareable snacks to munch on. To order food, you can either order from your phone or through one of their kiosk screens at the bar. I recently found out about their bottomless mimosas and unlimited games on weekends so I will definitely be back for a girls brunch l!

Yelp
Such a fun day out! Bay Street is really evolving and I'm here for it ~ from restaurants, to beauty services, shops, and now experiential activities like VR, an escape room (coming soon) and an indoor mini-golf/brew/food spot. Love a Sunday Funday adventure and Tipsy Putt did it for us. I don't typically love mini golf, but we did the table/hand golf! I've never tried it before, but so much fun..personally, less pressure than being in a big group and getting "athletic"! Really great to try out if with friends and wanting to be more social with a drink in hand :) Tipsy Putt has a fun and local East Bay beer list and foodie menu. We had quite the spread while we played a round ~ a trio of dips with chips, quesadilla, soft pretzels with beer cheese, chicken tikka masala tacos, and churro donuts. Food hit the mark for what we were looking for, just hearty and solid snacks while we had some fun and sipped/chip dipped! There's a fun Photo Booth that gives you a downloadable copy and video, also you can leave a printed copy on their community close-line. Check the website for fun monthly events and speakeasy hours! Yes, there's a hidden speakeasy we just found out about..all I will say is it wasn't open Sunday. Can't wait to come back for more fun!

Yelp
Tipsy Putt is a fun place for a date, meetup with friends or group gathering. It is located at the Bay Street shopping area and there is some street parking and parking garages nearby.  I enjoy that they are open to all ages until 5 pm and then after 5 pm it is 21+. After you check in, they have plenty to check out including the mini golf, 1-2 putt, cornhole, a sports bar, photobooth and TVs to watch games. They have a large bar area with beer, wine and cider and non-alcoholic options. In addition to the bar, they also have food to order including tacos, flatbread, small bites and more. There is plenty of seating options available including bar stools, tables and booths throughout the space. The staff was very welcoming during my visit.  The mini golf area is on the smaller scale for the size of the space. I can imagine it gets busy and full during peak hours. I really enjoyed the 1-2 putt and had never heard of that before, and you basically play on a tabletop.  Protip: check if Groupon has some deals before your visit. I was able to get one round of mini golf and 2 drinks for a great price!

Yelp
Food was the big letdown. Limited menu focused on Mexican inspired dishes could work except the tortilla chips are mediocre, food bland, and combined with the experience of picking it up at a window reminded me of fast food at a Six Flags amusement park. Definitely don't go for the food. It's about the beer. Service at the bar was fairly blank, so the vibe was not particularly warm and friendly. The trivia contest was difficult to participate in because the acoustics in the room are poor, and the app is clunky. We picked the Hyatt hotel across the road because of Tipsy Putt, but if you do the same, I'd suggest there are way better places for food just a short walk down the promenade. The pizza place in particular down there was great, though it's a fancy outdoor food court atmosphere Couldn't tell easily--do the mini golf games cost extra here? We finished a round of beers and most of the mediocre food and weren't inspired to stick around and find out, which was really surprising given our original plan was to have some great food and drink and then golf the night away.

Yelp
Arrived late afternoon to play a couple games with some friends and it was super fun! The gentleman at the bar was super friendly, however the guy at the front counter was not as friendly.. it was our first time there and we asked for an overall explanation as to how pricing works and he seemed really annoyed. His passive aggressive tone was really off putting.. we kind of just avoided that guy whenever we needed assistance. Besides that, there are two types of games you are able to play: 1-2 Putt which is tabletop golf, and your typical mini golf course. Each game consists of 9 holes, and you are given a score card that explains the directions for both games! Drinks are super yummy, and everything is on tap including the cocktails. We haven't tried the food but definitely will next time. Also, as a woman, their bathrooms are top tier. If you know you know.

Yelp
Great place to have a party! Celebrated my big brother's birthday here with a few of the cousins and we had a good time! Unfortunately, we ended up not golfing at all, but we did enjoy their food and drinks! I honestly think we were just vibing and enjoying catching up with each other, so it slipped our mind. My brother's gf made reservations, so we had a table waiting for us when we arrived. You order food by kiosk, and there's a bar area where you can get drinks. The hubs and I shared an order of nachos and their birria tacos, which were actually pretty good! Once our whole party arrived, we all kind of ordered our own things depending on what we were feeling. But everyone seemed really satisfied with what they got. The place was pretty busy, and I want to say almost every table was occupied. Tons of people there to eat, drink, and play games. Food service was pretty quick, and the people who initially checked us in were super nice! Wouldn't mind booking another small party here, or going for a date night with the hubs next time!

Yelp
WHY WE WENT HERE: - across the street from the hotel we were staying at - needed an activity to do to kill time until our next scheduled activity THE LOOK (FROM THE OUTSIDE): - located at the corner of Bay St and Christie Ave - street and parking garage parking available - enclosed outdoor seating THE LOOK (FROM THE INSIDE): - not the biggest place - pay to play; we only did the course which was VERY short (took us maybe 10-15 minutes tops) CUSTOMER SERVICE: - welcoming

Yelp
Was in town for a meeting and had a reservation for a large group here. Upon arrival, we got in line for brews before we sat down. There is several options for beers all on tap. I ordered the Tipsy Tropical, don't let the name fool you, nothing fruity about it. Next we were seated for dinner, make your own tacos, right up my alley. Loaded up on the masala chicken and barbacoa beef tacos with rice and beans. Delicious. After we all hit the miniature golf for some good laughs and fun. The coarse was designed in the likeness of landmarks in Oakland, pretty cool. Had a good time

Yelp
Great tacos !! Food was decent and putt putt was fun! Came here with the fam and urs smaller than expected ! Service was a ten and ambiance was great . Highly recommended!!

Yelp
This place is so much fun! 1-2 putt which is basically tabletop mini golf is outstanding. Completely turns me off now to traditional mini golf. Our bartenders were knowledgeable about the beer selection and staff even asked our opinion on what card or board games they need to add to their collection when they saw us playing one. I have just one complaint and it's hardly a complaint. This is not a common allergy but my wife is allergic to corn and the menu was very corn heavy so we were limited to pretzels and a quesadilla. Again, not a big deal, but flour tortillas as an option for tacos, etc. would be awesome. Great place! We will be back.

Yelp
My bestie was back in town so you know we had to go have some fun! Saw that they had an indoor mini golf spot up in Emeryville so decided to check it out. Glad I read about the Groupon on Yelp! We went on a weekday during the day so it was pretty empty but I can see how this would be packed on the weekends or at night time! This was fine by me because we didn't have to wait for food, drinks or mini golf! We also got to take our time and we honestly had a blast! We got the unlimited games which include mini golf and 1-2 putt. I'm glad i got to play 1-2 putt because it was my first time and I loved it. Food and drink: We had to get tipsy before putting so we went with a couple ciders and a cocktail. I would get them all again but I definite want to try others. They had quite the selection with funny golf names and wide variety of beer on tap. For food, we went with the poke nachos and quesobirras. We definitely needed this food with the alcohol cuz we were already feeling it! Thnx bartender! I would definitely come back again and tell others about it since it's so fun. It's located on Bay St in Emeryville which has a movie theater, shopping and restaurants. It's definitely changed over the years. Even the parking in the garage, you pay prior to shopping either through an app. Before you would pay once you left. I really like what they did with Bay St. It used to be my kick it spot back in the day lol. Anyway, had a blast and you should too! Come to Tipsy Putt!

Yelp
This tipsy, putt is a nice place to come and have fun They have great service. They have a wide variety of drinks and the food is great. They are great for parties. And just to have out and the bartender Rich is a wonderful bartender and the server Brent was wonderful at helping me out with everything .

Yelp
There are many golf courses complete gardens nothing interesting no type of excitement just like shoot your ball straight. It goes in the hole. Give us $40 and drink expensive beer bye......

Yelp
What a fun place! You get mini golf, food, and drinks all in one! Definitely a place where all ages (kids until 5pm) can enjoy a good time with good vibes. The concept is pretty cool and unique. Service was fast. Our host was very attentive and took the time to explain the courses to us. The second course was new to us but so much fun! Tipsy Putt seems like a good place for happy hour. My par-garita was tasty. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend if you're looking for something fun to do in the area.

Yelp
It's a great place to enjoy drinks and play mini golf. It was my first time doing indoor mini golf, and it was kind of fun. They have around 9 holes, if I remember correctly. The draft beer selection on tap is excellent, with plenty of options to choose from.
google avatar

Michael E.

Yelp
The miniature golf course is rather small and uninspired, but the price is reasonable. Large beer/drink selection.
google avatar

Becca T.

Yelp
Didn't try the food, it appeared to be a basic bar type so wasn't tempted. Service from check in, to security guard to bartender was so hands on. Everyone nice and hospitable. The atmosphere is light and fun. I wish they had bigger sized variations in their mini golf options. The table top options felt more diverse. Great beer and cocktail selections.bartender on duty tonight was amazing. Security guard on duty this evening went above and beyond to ensure we understand the games and the rules. Please give them my greatest thank you for making sure me and my guest had a great time. I would say I wish it was bigger. It's an overall 3 but service really was just overall great.

Yelp
I was trying to reserve a area for my company party and I had a difficult time with staff. There need to communicate better. They were rude they said they would call me back and never did. Mind you I called in advance. They were not very helpful. Would not recommend. They also told me they would not break up single chairs to accommodate my party. Stacy was not very helpful.

Yelp
Tipsy Putt is a cute for dates and I imagine hanging out with friends. This is our second time coming and it looked like they were booked for what seemed to be a corporate party, but maybe not seeing as it was Sunday. It was pretty busy though. They have a bar in the back as well as a Mexican restaurant located inside. There is a back patio as well as outdoor seating in a patio area in the front, but it didn't look like that area was open at the time. Another perk is that they have a Photo Booth and this time it was working However, their Hoppy Gilmore beer was out due to the supplier being out of the product. That was probably the only real "bummer" if you will. My boyfriend was looking forward to that. Mini-golf is fun and we got around to it about two times. We also played 1-2 Putt. Unlimited games per person is $29 for the day, and there are a lot of other surrounding restaurants in the Bay Street mall if you wanna give that a go before heading in.
google avatar

Winchelle R.

Yelp
The brews were delicious, ambiance is vibey but what's not cool is when you check out is that there's a spot where it asks you to contribute for their employees health fund or something of that nature. Wow
google avatar

Yelp
This place was so much fun! Great drinks, good food, & a surprise speakeasy with AMAZING cocktails. The mini golf was so much fun. It's a small course but surprisingly challenging & a great time with friends. Loved how many games there were to do at the tables, like giant connect 4, giant jenga, uno, etc. can't wait for the Sunnyvale location to open.

Yelp
Tipsy Putt is a very chill bar with various activities, including board games, cornhole, and, of course, mini-golf. The mini-golf course is quite small, so I'd like to think of this place primarily as a bar rather than a full-on mini-golf venue. The place is spacious, with tables and seats - perfect for a relaxed night out with friends. The drinks are reasonably priced, averaging $12-15 per cocktail. They also offer some bar food like nachos, fries, tacos, and more. My friends and I opted not to play the mini-golf course since it was quite small and crowded, making it a bit challenging for our large group. Instead, we chose to play board games at one of their long tables. If you're looking for something fun to do with your friends, I can definitely recommend this place for a relaxed get-together.

Yelp
This is really a surprising place. It's a Mini Golf place for sure, but they have about 30 local beers on tap and a seperate full bar. You do enter, buy your golf, and walk in. But you could easily just come in for a beer or a taco. The tacos are a B+, again, very surprisingly and i know tacos. The service is order at the counter and is fairly quick Ambiance is Mini Golf chic. It's about the experience and is fun Definitely a spot filled with folks 25-40 but i am way older than that and enjoyed myself

Yelp
Very positive experience here at Tipsy Putt. We came during some downtime and ended up at the bar. The bartender was very kind and let us try 4 samples of a couple IPAs and ciders. We finally landed on a drink and the bartender told us a story of a coworker that was obsessed with trying out their new brews. Goes to show how dedicated they are to providing thoughtful and thorough service. The venue is smaller than we thought. The bathrooms are clean and has compostable paper towels to dry off your hands. I would 100% come back here with more friends.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place but found it lackluster. The concept is a great idea! However it feels like they didn't go all in on the bar and didn't go all in on the mini golf option. There were 2 golf options-a shuffleboard like mini golf and a regular mini golf. There weren't a tons of holes and I wanted them to be a bit more adventurous like some other indoor mini golf places we've been. The staff was really nice and eager to help. The bar area had a lot of options however everything is premixed as far as cocktails go which seemed like a shortcut for a place with a larger bar area. We had a drink and ordered the pretzels. They were overly salted and tasted like they were previously frozen. The other thing than seemed like a missed opportunity is you have to be over 21 to enter after 5pm. Seems very early to close off to the younger crowd. We saw many families have to walk away after seeing the sign. I get it's a bar but why not make a later time for 21 and older? Lots of potential but missed the target.

Yelp
My friend and I got Long Island ice tea and margaritas. Both were really good, the bartender sure knows his stuff! There were no wait time as there were multiple bartender. It was easy payment through a tablet, while they made on our drinks. We had to park in the parking lot in the back garage. You can scan a code to pay for your parking space easily. There are lot of parking spaces right behind the building. There was also a live dj, who played awesome music. Perfect date night place! I didn't like how small, and tight all the golf courses were close to each other. We had to wait for a group of 5 ahead of us to be done. While we and many other people waited behind us closely to each other. I would like more spacing apart while we waited for other groups to be done. It definitely killed the mood when there not much else to do.

Yelp
Tipsy Putt is a hilarious concept - Minigolf in a bar! And it's executed extremely well. I called ahead with less than a week's notice to host a group of around 15 people for a work onsite happy hour and they accommodated us perfectly. We ended up with unlimited games and a taco bar. The tacos were actually really good, and the beer selection at the bar is huge and full of great local beers. The golfing is incredibly entertaining. I don't think anyone can really say they're "good" at Minigolf, especially when there are a lot of obstacles, but some people in our group were definitely better than others. I was not one of them, but I also didn't expect to be. The location is great too - Tipsy Putt is on Bay Street, which is clean and modern and overall a great place to take coworkers in the East Bay. Highly recommend for big groups, and I'm sure coming in smaller groups is fun too!

Yelp
We got multiple items for lunch (salads, tacos, nachos, churros), which weren't exactly unique or outstanding, but still pretty good. The pub nachos were quite filling, with seasoned chicken and a good mix of toppings, queso, sour cream, veggies including a nice kick from the jalapenos. The churros were oddly ring-shaped (like a donut) and soft and crumbly... it was tasty, but they totally skimped on the chocolate sauce on the side. No complaints otherwise, my party finished every single bite of our tacos and salads. We actually came to Tipsy Putt just to eat after doing some VR at Bay Street Emeryville since there weren't many eateries open on New Year's Day. But we ended up doing so much more, as the place was quite empty and it was too easy to take advantage of the games and entertainment available with minimal wait times. We enjoyed the discounted combo deal of 9 holes of mini golf along with 9 holes of 1-2 putt (more holes than the Sunnyvale location, with better challenges and more creative design here in Emeryville). We had a good time during our recent visit.

Yelp
Was looking for something to do during the week and saw a Groupon for Tipsy Putt. Looked fun so purchased it and off we went. Very nice staff but the pee wee golf area was not good at all not worth going. That's all I'm going to say about that. But everyone was nice

Yelp
I've seen this place from the window and thought that looks cool. Finally tried it out and decided against putt putt. The course is small and oddly shaped. There is some non standard putt putt happening here. When we walked in there wasn't much of service, maybe because it was a Tuesday? The bar has plenty of good beer available on tap and then some premade cocktails on tap. There doesn't appear to be any table service unless you have an event scheduled. The food options are limited. The flat bread and nachos were both great for bar food, but I wouldn't want to have dinner here. Overall it was a fine experience, but the service was lacking and the flow was just off.

Yelp
Cute little date night idea! The place is a decent size and easy to navigate through. Beer selection was huge. I was hoping they had different food options. The place did get busy so we felt sort of rushed towards the end but still had a good time.

Yelp
10/10 recommend for a group outing or date night! Our group had THE BEST time! Parking ; Both cars were able to be parked on the street. I did see online there is a garage close by to park at if there wasn't any street parking but, we got lucky Food: simple & fast to order with the tablet, you know when your order is done with a text. Bar was simple & easy to order from as well, everything is on tap including the cocktails . Games; table top & floor we played, both were so much fun, people were playing their own games but still being courteous to the people behind waiting to play. The workers, location, food, ambiance, & even parking we got lucky with was amazing. I have no bad things to say about Tipsy Putt in Emeryville & we definitely will be coming back!

Yelp
Came here with some of my friends and the vibes are really chill, but we ended not putting since there was a large company party that booked out the putting area. It looked like fun tho. They have a large selection of beer that caters to every taste. I got a few (I forgot their names) and the beer tasted fresh. The food is pretty decent. It's Cali-Mex. I got three different tacos and I liked all of them. The chips and guac was good too. Overall, a chill spot to hang out with friends. The putting area can get busy so just be aware of that if you wanted to play some mini golf. Tipsy Putt is a cool spot to hang. I'd come back to just chill.

Yelp
Dropped in to Tipsy Putt for a work holiday party and it was relatively empty for a Thursday night. The service was great and the beer offerings were solid, but the food was generic bar food and we went elsewhere for dinner. For a mini golf indoor place, this place hits the mark, but certainly nothing special.

Yelp
Came in on a Friday night Christmas weekend. It was poppin but not too crowded. We didn't arrive until most of the stores had closed (8ish) so parking was a breeze. Got drinks from the speakeasy attached to it. They were really good! Someone recommended that we have drinks here because all the drinks at the bar inside Tipsy Putt are pre-mixed. So glad we followed the suggestion because those pre-mixed drinks are entirely too sweet. Played one round of golf. It was quick and easy and the holes were fun. Had a quick bite to eat at the bar - it's kinda like bowling alley food. It's edible but don't get your hopes up.

Yelp
As a place with a good bar (so many beers on tap!), relaxed vibe, and better than expected snacks, it's recommended. This course was smaller than the price would indicate and without some fun elements that typical mini golf courses have. I expected more local references in addition to the Bay Bridge. They have lots of deals for different nights or days, so be on the lookout for those. I would go for the bar and the mini golf as a bonus tipsy activity rather than the other way around.
