The best new restaurant in Mexico City. Period.
I hardly know where to begin with Tirasavia, because there’s so much to say about it, but the most important aspect is the food. They are absolutely obsessed with food, and it shows. Their whole schtick revolves around “farm-to-table” and "organic ingredients," but the difference is that it's authentic. I’ve returned many times, experiencing breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, and drinks, and every item excels.
The menu:
It's concise, offering just the right amount of options to ensure each dish stands out. The cuisine is distinctly international, blending Mediterranean and Mexican influences with a personal touch by the chef.
Atmosphere:
Tirasavia is situated in the heart of the Juarez neighborhood, surrounded by interesting art galleries, cafes, and charming boutiques. The restaurant strikes a balance between cozy and chic; it's not overly fancy or striving too hard. The atmosphere is casual, yet the decor and style are clearly intentional.
Service:
Outstanding. Despite being a small establishment with minimal staff requirements, every team member is attentive to your needs. A highlight is the presence of Chef Allan, who is both gourmet-minded and approachable, often seen mingling with guests. He readily shares details about ingredient sourcing, adding a personal touch to the dining experience.
Pricing:
Not at all an expensive place. Literally the most affordable option among cool high-quality restaurants like this.
