I ordered the aji de gallina, but unfortunately, the dish did not look or taste like a proper aji de gallina. Additionally, the rice served was undercooked and overly salty, which affected my overall experience. $20 wasted! 🙄 Given these issues, I’m honestly surprised this place has a 4+ star rating, as my experience didn’t reflect that level of quality.

Google
All fresh ingredients, home-cooked style grilled food perfectly cooked to medium-rare like the real Peruvian cuisine! If you want your meat to be cooked more, tell the staff! The potatoes are really good as a side menu as well as the Peruvian corn. I loved it and definitely will be coming back for more~ I highly recommend trying the Chicha Morada and Maracuya drinks! Soooooooo goood <3

Google
Family owned business selling authentic Peruvian marinated chicken and more. Unlike most Peruvian places that roast chicken on a spit, they marinade and grill them. Excellent quality. Highly recommend the Combo #1 of chicken and hearts. Don't forget to ask for the sauces.

I went to Tita's after someone on NOVA foodies Facebook page recommended them for anticuchos and boy were they right! But anticuchos in the area hands down. The meat is tender and flavorful and came with an assortment of 4 dipping sauces. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Great Peruvian restaurant!

Google
Found this place in the search for good anticucho and It was on point. I strongly recommend you try it. We tried: -anticucho combo w/choncholi & Rachi -the ribs -chicken skewers -rice pudding w/ mazamorra It was all delicious. I had it all well cooked and it was done just right, we highly enjoyed it. The staff was great, courteous and attentive. The sides we picked were papa dorada, fries, yuca, friend plantain and peruvian corn. Good job with the yuca not being so dry. I will be visiting again!

Google
Excellent. Not cheap, but my combo 3 was superb, and I can recommend the picarons if you’re with a group, as one order is too much for one person. Milk smoothies make great palette cleansers.

Ordered combo 2 and the fried desert. Really wants like it but negative . The beef skewers weren’t good and didn’t taste like beef . The corn was hard and big … meat/chicken smelled old . Very disappointed $30 wasted

It look good but unfortunately had to be thrown out because of the excessive amount of condiments and salt.

Yelp
I was out driving and wanted some authentic Peruvian food. This place came to mind after eating at Yorkshire Restaurant (right next door) and seeing Tita's. All I know is my mind has been BLOWN. I had the best Ceviche EVER in my life! The staff were so nice and man they can cook!! I also had some anticuchos that simply took my breath away. The seasoning on both dishes were spot on. Needless to say, I left a much more happier man!! And you need that to deal with route 28.

Yelp
Horrible place Horrible food Horrible taste Nasty paper plates We don't recommend they do not how to cook.

Yelp
This is one of the first Peruvian restaurants in that part VA. From our group the rib eye was the top favorite for flavor and tenderness. The beef heart had mixed reviews, ceviche mahi was flavorful and the curried chicken was fairly bland and probably the least flavorful item on the menu. The picarones are like fried donut shaped beignets; don't expect fluffy or airy but they are tasty with a mildly sweet syrup. The fried potatoes had zero seasoning. I'd probably give it more of a 3.5 but for authentic Peruvian plates I'll give appreciation points. We had a nice, patient waiter who give specific descriptions about each of the menu items.

Yelp
Lo único rico están los anticuchos y picarones pero te cobran hasta lo platos (sin broma!) y son descartables... The anticuchos and picarones are the only good thing here. They will charge you for everything even a paper plate.

Yelp
Great food, anticuchos area great...friendly staff, the pollo parrillero and Lomo saltado are tasty.

Yelp
Good Food. Terrible Service. Older lady was very rude and didn't even bother to say welcome just straight up.. what do you want? No Customer Friendliness at all. Also they messed up half our order and would fight you about it. Ridiculous

Rachel S.

Yelp
Sad to see that this restaurant isn't what it used to be. We have a diabetic in our family and it's impossible for that family member to eat here now. Often no vegetables in the entire store. Also, recently they had no bottles of water or a diet soda. They could only offer us water from the faucet. Not everyone can drink a full sugar soda with their dinner.

Yelp
Great food. I'm still testing their dishes but the anticuchos, the picarones and the Mondonguito a la Italiana are Delicious!. Para chuparse los dedos!

Yelp
This quaint little place has some amazing food!!! For those who have ever eaten beef hearts!!! YUMMMM!! Made to perfection and super fresh!! The young lady behind the counter was super friendly and courteous. Explained the menu and what the food from her country,(Peru), is like. Prices were amazing and menu was easy with great options that aren't overwhelming!! Try it out!!

Yelp
Authentic Peruvian food, generous servings and friendly staff. I treat myself weekly. I recommend the antichucos, ribeye, and navy beans. They are expanding the menu as well. Maria and her sister are awesome!

Tamara H.

Yelp
Great food, I had the short ribs which were very tasty. Others in my group had the chicken and the ribeye and enjoyed them very much as well. The staff were very friendly and helpfully explained the menu to us and the portions were quite generous for the price.

Yelp
Tried this place with my girlfriend, who's Peruvian, and the anticuchos and picarones were very good. My girlfriend said its one of the better places in the area (if not the best) for anticuchos. Service was great and we'll definitely go back in the future!
