In my personal opinion, this is the best Taco House in Houston. There are some others that definitely serve amazing tacos but the overall environment and friendliness of Titas takes it over the top. When you walk up to the big Blue house and into the front door you are immediately blown away by the amazing art painted on literally every surface of the interior. The line is usually 15+ people deep but it moves quick thanks to the amazing staff behind the serving counter. You’ll hear people converting over their tacos, spatulas tinging on the flat top and voices galore telling the staff what they want on today’s tacos. The owner and his family run Titas with the upmost personal family friendly professional personalities you’ll ever come across. It’s truly a must see Houston treasure nestled near the beautiful town of Old Humble. I’m a daily visitor due to the always changing variety of tacos that never disappoint!

THIS IS THE AIRPORT TACO SPOT! If you happen to be near IAH. Forget all that airport trash! Take yourself 15 minutes down the road and get these super fluffy tasty tacos. Customer Service is top tier. The service is quick, and the atmosphere is beautiful. For 6 tacos, you're looking at about $18. 3 tacos is all u would need to be satisfied, though! The only thing you wanna look out for is when u approach this place. The building itself looks like a 1 story beach house. It doesn't give off "this a business" look, so just trust Google maps and pull into the lot that is next to small blue house. Below is pics from outside, inside, the food and a video

Me and my family have been coming here for years. The owner is always friendly and has a smile on his face. The tortillas are homemade on the spot and the food is fresh and tasty. The salsa is also made well. I love the corn tortillas! They’re my fav! This place is always packed and for good reason. If you’re like me you always read the one star reviews first to see what people are complaining about. I can tell you that I’ve never experienced anything like what people say in these negative reviews. My grandmother who was the best cook in the world loved eating here and if good for a Mexican granny it’s good period! Eat here, I promise you won’t be disappointed!!!

I can't even rank which one was better than the other because all of them were so tender and flavorful. The sauces they give on the side are a great spicy addition to the tacos. I added cilantro, onions, and cheese to all of them. I do wish I asked for more beans because they didn't add much, but it made sure the tacos were soggy, so it's a give and take. Service: (5/5) AMAZINGGGGGGGG SERVICE. This restaurant has the best service I have ever experienced. The owners are sooo kind and welcoming. They treated every customer with so much respect. I ate a lot of Mexican food when I worked in LA. I came to Houston and ate a lot of Tex-Mex but I've got to say there are some Taco joints around this place that are outstanding! Tita's is right at the top of the pile. Alway come away feeling like I just had the pleasure. Sometimes there's Lengua and sometimes there's liver and if you're lucky you get there before things run out. The first time I took my daughter here was probably close to 10 years. She asked why hadn't we been going here the whole time. I mean i like going to Aranda's but this guy at Tita's really has this place humming.

I honestly missed this place driving by. Didn't notice it. It looks like an industrial shack outside. Then you see the Hollywood stars on the entrance walking in. As you enter you see different proteins, and a stack of tortillas. Behind that you see them making fresh tortillas. Everyone happy to serve you here. I got the eggs and hot dogs with beans. And I got the steak as well. Both were delicious. I loved the tortillas here. They had a red and green hot sauce. The owner came out to have a conversation with us. And he was super friendly. I really enjoyed my experience here. And it's near the airport!

Don't waste any time and just go straight for the barbacoa tacos if they have them still! I'd skip the breakfast tacos, eggs etc and just go for the right side of the taco line. Their tortillas are amazing and I could, would eat them alone. I'll likely just order Tortilla con mantequilla next time! But definitely get the barbacoa and green sauce. Service was friendly though the gentleman seemed to be inconsistent with my order. Some came with cheese and some he just forgot. He was likely the manager/owner and he was managing others but just fyi, he could forget your cheese. Will be backaaa

Moved to Austin last year and visiting Houston for work. I had to try this place out since Austin taco scene is extremely lacking.... Glad I tried Titas Taco House! Homemade tortillas - flour and corn. You have to ring the bell for corn tortillas as they are made to order. Fast service. Good portions. Plenty of options. Get your order and load up on salsa and a Mexican coke. Enjoy!

We have tried for quite some time to eat here. Our hours generally don't jive, so I was super excited when it worked out that Tita's was open and we could stop by. I have heard for years that this place was amazing from teachers I know that work around here. They were absolutely correct. First of all, the line is to the left when you walk in. They were pretty empty when we came in, so we were a little disoriented. If you want corn tortillas, ring the bell and hold up your fingers in how many you want. You also pay as you leave, not when you order. The coffee is delicious, so I recommend it. Y'all, the tortillas are amazing. We ordered the flour just because we were disoriented. They were amazing. I will definitely try to corn next time. We ordered several different breakfast tacos. They were all so good. The eggs were done well... they weren't stiff or weird the way eggs can get in a restaurant. It is like you had a great homemade meal. The service is great. They were very patient and helpful. The place was also very clean including the bathroom.

Family owned operated and a staple in our community thus restaurant been serving big delicious tacos for several years. I was curious about the high ratings this place had on Yelp, and after visiting, I can definitely see why. This place serves some tasty a la carte tacos. That is all that they serve. From egg breakfast tacos to stewed meats tacos, they offer a nice selection of delicious options. You will have the option of adding a thin layer of refried beans to your tacos, which I recommend! The chicharon they offer is the nice meaty kind. The barbacoa is succulent. The tortillas are made fresh in store, and you have the option of flour or corn. Don't forget to ask for limes, and don't forget some tasty salsa verde and roja! There's plenty of space indoor and outdoor on the patio, though the patio could definitely use a makeover. Pay when finish eating if you are dining in. They do a lot of carry out business due to the speed and ease of ordering.

We were in the area for spring break and took the whole family to get "real" tacos. When we arrived the owner greeted us at the door. He could tell we were new to the restaurant and he personally walked us through all the options and the process. He walked us to our table and checked on us multiple times, absolutely top notch service. The food... wow. We don't get tacos like this at home! I started with three tacos which is plenty of food. They were so good I went back for two more just to try more meats. All five were incredible. If we lived in the area we would stop often for sure. Give it a try, you won't regret it!

If I could leave zero stars I would. I always come in a few days a week and get the same thing bc I crave it bc im pregnant. A few days ago I went in and got my usual. I went to take a taco home after eating there and grabbed a few sauces bc I was taking it with me. The elder man that stands by the cashier takes my bag and pulls out all my sauces. He then looks at me and says how many tacos are you taking away. I said just one (he knew that though bc he had my bag but was being passive aggressive). He then tells me no you cannot take any more sauce but one bc you have one taco. I am sorry I am a sauce person I will not eat the taco if I don't have enough sauce on top of being a butthole/passive aggressive to me I threw it away. I was so upset I cried bc I'm pregnant, hormones, and just threw away my mid morning snack at work. Today I went in to give it another shot and said it's a new day. I walk in and sit in line. As I do so I overhear the older man talking to the cashier pointing my direction and motioning what had happened the other day. They then look at me and shake their head with ugly faces on their face. I decided to leave. I tried to call the red to talk to a manager or owner but no answer. So they have lost my business bc they are definitely not afraid to talk about their customers in front of them. How disrespectful and rude.

Love, love, love Tita's!!! Don't be intimidated by the line once you get inside. IT moves VERY quickly!! If you want corn tortillas, make SURE to ring the bell while still in line, so they will be ready once you get to the steam table. Everyone behind the steam table is very friendly & helpful. My only downside is that they're closed on Sundays..... :-(

Solid spot for some breakfast tacos. I'm from the south side of Houston, so I'm rarely up here. Found this place via Yelp (ofc) lol and glad I did! The staff was super friendly and made some recs for us. The tortillas were so good and tasted so fresh! We decided to stay and eat there. The staff treats you like family. You eat and then pay after, just in case you want more tacos - lol which we did end up going back and getting another one. Wouldn't go out of my way to come but would def recommend if you're in the area. Thanks titas! Hope to come back again

This place has hands down the best breakfast tacos in the city!!! I am an avid foodie who goes to different establishments to find the perfect dishes. My target this time was to find the best egg and potato tacos in the city. Titas had the best one and I can explain why. It starts with the tortilla. Tita's was the only establishment out of 14 I tried that made and used theyre own homeade tortillas. The make it from scratch and dough right in front of you. And you can accompany that with theyre own homeade salsa and taco sauces. (admittedly the green is my favorite) the potatos as well are fresh cut and homeade and they use a perfect blend of eggs and potatos. Every establishment I went to was real egg heavy on the tacos. They never used enough potatos to get the flavor you are truly looking for. Theyre selection and quality is superb and The Owner "Jose" and his children always greet people as family coming in. Huge fan of Tita's Taco house. There is pretty much guaranteed to be a line at any time, but they move everyone through quickly so the wait isn't as long as it looks. Only thing on the menu is tacos, which they make in front of you. No menu posted but you can pick flour or ring the bell for corn tortillas, both which are delicious and taste very homemade. There isn't a menu but the staff will be very helpful when you are up to order

Went in on a Friday around 12:45pm right around lunch time! as soon as we opened the door we were in line, it moved quick tho! We were sitting by 1pm, we tried the chicken mole with rice taco, puerco guisado, mixed eggs, chipotle chicken and the chocoflan. Everything was amazing. The tortillas were nice and soft! They have a red and green salsa. I personally liked the green one better, the red one was a lot spicier! The chocoflan has nuts and cinnamon but it was not over powering. Overall great experience will definitely be back. The staff was so friendly! They told us barbacoa fajita and a few other options were sold out by the time we got there but encouraged us to come back earlier a different day to be able to try those options. He also suggested which tacos went good with rice cheese etc. for example the mole taco with rice was bomb! And we added cheese to the chipotle chicken you can choose white or yellow cheese. My opinion, probably the best taco spot you can find in the Houston area. Love the quirkiness of the design. Friendly staff. And of course extremely delicious tacos. Be sure to get the green and red sauces. You really can't go wrong with any type of taco they have available when you show up.

So many options!! All tortillas are made fresh, right there, behind the counter. Ring the bell and the ladies put up fingers to see how many you'd like. I went with two tortillas de maíz. One with refried beans and huevo con chorizo. The second with refried beans and picadillo. Don't eat meat? There are vegetarian options! Quick service. Friendly faces. I don't live anywhere close to Humble but I'll definitely be back. Yes, they were that good!!

We came to this place close to the time they were closing so it was not too busy, but let me tell you that did not stop the staff from being very friendly and extremely helpful with recommendations. I tried a variety of options both on corn and flour tortillas, which are made fresh. The corn was ok but the flour was my favorite, especially the breakfast egg and bacon with the green salsa. The chicken and barbacoa lacked a little bit of salt but were pretty good.

I wanted to try this place because I was in the area and I saw it had great reviews. Unfortunately I was not able to try the tacos because there was an incredibly long line of people waiting outside the establishment. If I was by myself or not starving, I may have waited but I was with my kids. There was no way my kids would have patiently waited for tacos.

I'm here visiting my niece. She said I had to try this place. I'm so happy she took me here because they are THE BEST TACOS I've EVER HAD!!! I'm from Southern California and our Mexican food is amazing. But Titas Tacos, next level! Homemade refried beans. Freshly pressed flour tortillas. They have corn too. You ring the bell as soon as you get in line if you want corn tortillas so they can start cooking them and have them ready for you when you go to order your tacos. The have a great selection of meats. I ordered the chicken and beef in red sauce topped with onions cilantro and green sauce. The meat is so tender and juicy. I don't know what they are marinating their meat in but it's delicious! The place is cute and BUSY!!! You order your food where there's the selection of meats and also eggs for breakfast tacos. Grab a drink from the cooler. You go sit at your table and when you're done you go to the counter to pay. And the people who work there are so friendly!!! This place is a true gem and I can't wait to come back to Texas just to have Titas Tacos!
