The Eccentric Inns of England

"Not a country house hotel, but a country retreat; the former implies some aristocratic formality, while the latter, at least in the case of Titchwell Manor, simply means a luxurious yet unpretentious escape by the Norfolk coast, in a Victorian farmhouse and its renovated outbuildings, all updated in a playful and eclectic style, mixing period details with vintage and modern furniture." - Mark Fedeli

A very enjoyable stay at the Manor. The room was clean and comfortable overlooking the well kept garden. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful.|We ate twice in the restaurant the food was very good I had the lobster which was cooked to perfection. I would also recommend the kippers if you want an alternative to a full English.|To our surprise they also do a happy hour 5-6 where you can purchase 2 for one cocktails and wine.|The location is superb for the beach, wildlife and a great walk on the coastal path which has several stop offs for refreshments.|I would highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing break.

We have just stayed at Titchwell Manor for a couple of nights and it was a lovely experience. Our room and all areas of the hotel were spotless. The room was well equipped with everything you could need and tea, coffee, bottled water and homemade biscuits. The bathroom had a great selection of toiletries too and the shower was hot and powerful! The staff were friendly and helpful. Aranka was especially lovely. The breakfast was delicious and there was a great selection of items to choose from. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring locally with walks from the doorstep. We will definitely be back!

We have just come back from spending a night at the Titchwell Manor. I have to say we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel. The room was brilliant, the food at the restaurant was superb with an extensive wine card and the staff was helpful and welcoming. We will certainly return.

We had a lovely stay in a room with hot tub. Great food that was fresh and good quality. Service was attentive and we really enjoyed our stay. Only small pieces, the hot tub is just a 'hot tub' so hot water with no jets so bear that in mind. You may need to walk from the garden to the restaurant so flat shoes are helpful!

This was a short break to get away from it all. Used to visit regularly with my husband. This was my second solo visit. Great food. Great staff. Very comfortable room. I love going back to this hotel. As always, my stay was, in a word, fantastic. Posted by Rosemary Walker

Fantastic room and a lovely stay Shame general guests were sidelined by a wedding. Bar seating and ordered two mains and received one. Disappointed the white table cloths have disappeared. Breakfast was disappointing so settled for the buffet. Will definitely return but sad they have lost their attention to detail

Had an absolutely amazing stay at Titchwell Manor over the weekend. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the service was faultless—attentive yet unobtrusive. The highlight was undoubtedly the food. I had one of the best steaks I've ever tasted—cooked to absolute perfection and bursting with flavour. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of quality ingredients. Titchwell Manor truly exceeded expectations, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable stay with outstanding dining!

This is the seventh time we have visited. It is a beautiful little hotel with great service and lovely food. However my only criticism is if you stay for more than two nights and choose to dine there, they do not change the menu . We stayed four nights and did not want the same food every night. Fair enough if they do not want to change the menu but surely if it alternated daily for three or four nights more clients would be inclined to fine there. Having said this we will be returning. But please change the menu
