Wood fire pizza!! We actually got food through DoorDash from this location and had a really great experience with the delivery. The pizza itself was very delicious and tasted great! The reason I’m getting four stars instead of five it’s because I felt like the crust was slightly burned which overpowered the rest of the ingredients on the pizza when you ate it.

I can’t believe it took us over a year to come here. STELLAR! We went off the recommendation of the counter person and it ended up being the best decision of the night! Everyone takes care of you! The pizza was the absolute best pizza we’ve ever had. Get it with New York crust with cornmeal. Delicious and the crust is crunchy. Go early , after they open. We can’t wait to go back! Oh beer is really good too!!

Tonight we tried TJ’s Woodfire Pizza as we heard it was good! We got 2 pizzas to go and I had a beer while waiting! The beer was great and the pizza when I got home was awesome!! I loved the woodfire taste and they had a ton of different pizza options to try. The ambiance was nice and the people were friendly! I was surprised at how quick they made the pizzas also as I didn’t even get a chance to finish my beer before the pizza was ready! I will definitely be going back again to this place!

Yesterday, we went there with our kids and ordered three small pizzas, which were really good and more than enough for four people. Speaking as a newcomer professional chef who has been trained in pizza making in Naples, Italy, for years, I can say that the team is doing really well. This place was recommended to us, and we were completely satisfied.

After a long day there’s nothing like being able to go somewhere and pick up something to satisfy the vegetarian‘s in your family, and of course the meat eaters like myself. I had a really good time coming to TJ‘s wood fire pizza everybody was really cool I ordered the pepperoni pizza and kept it simple they offer a lot of options and I highly recommend the signature pizzas if you’re having a family pizza day. I chose to eat in but I took home the broccolini appetizer which looks delicious and I expect to say good things about it but for the most part, the pepperoni pizza was heaven! The indoor seating is awesome they have a lot of TVs if you wanna watch sports and they have a number different beers to try, me? I kept it simple with soda. Staff was incredibly friendly good Times Visitng, stop by!!

When our family is in the mood for pizza, this is our go-to spot! We like to try something new every time, and have never been disappointed. They offer several different crust options and topping choices, and you can tell they use only the best quality ingredients. My family loves the Brooklyn with a New York Style crust and I usually opt for the fig & leaf Neapolitan pizza that has a yummy balsamic glaze drizzle. We've ordered for pick-up from here several times, especially during the last few months, and our order has always been ready at the time they promised, and even with my kids' picky requests, it's always exactly as we ordered it. Important to note that the staff seems to be well trained, because they have an efficient system for take out, everyone is wearing gloves and masks. It's hard to find a place that has good food and a friendly, professional staff. TJ's checks all the boxes. Definitely recommend!

Small cool little whole in the wall with great pizza and craft beer. The pizza was very good and the dough was delicious. I agree with all the great reviews. This is definitely a local spot. I will definitely come back here if I'm in the area.

Adrian always helps me whenever I order gluten-free, cheese free pizza. I wanted to try the beer but it's not gluten-free so I'm going to be sober lol. I always come back here for the barbecue chicken gluten-free cheese free pizza because it's so good!

The wife and I have heard many good things about TJs for some time, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the NY style pizza with 1/2 cheese and 1/2 pepperoni. All in all it was pretty good. Since we did not eat it right away, we used the oven and a pizza stone to warm the pizza up and that's not really fair to TJs. I will try them again, but will go and eat there. I want to try the pizza with "burn the roof of your mouth" right out of the oven timing. At that point I will update the review and I am sure it will be a much more detailed and fun review. John

The Neopolitan Stella Pizza (artichoke, sun-dried tomatoes, red bell peppers, red onions, mozzarella, tomato sauce) was good. The sauce was light, and the crust was chewy with charred edges. A great Neopolitan style. They have a big dining area, and a couple tables outside too. Employees were friendly and there was plenty of parking as they're located in a shopping center.

TJ's is my go-to pizza house. This occasion was for a tap takeover that customers on their email contact list are notified of a few days in advance. I almost always order the wood-fired Neapolitan Gianelli pizza that has an excellent sauce, sausage, basil and burrata, plus truffle oil and fennel pollen. Amazing flavors and balance. TJ's always has an excellent rotating selection of craft beer on tap. Since it is a small local spot, it has a fairly regular clientele and a lively atmosphere. They are moving to a larger location per a recent email, which is sad as they are close by. Hopefully, the new location (not announced yet that I know of) will also be nearby.

First time here. Great beer options. Seating is limited - small space. BBQ chicken pizza was good. Margherita pizza was amazing. This will be a must buy every time. Light basil flavor. Hint of salt. Drooling just thinking about it.

TJ's is a really great pizza joint to go to. We have ordered from them quite a few times and have enjoyed it thoroughly. The service is always great and they prepare your pizza fast. The restaurant has quite a few tables and a cool relaxed vibe. With that being said, my favorite part of the pizza is the cornmeal dough. It is crispy and light and delicious. My only drawback is the toppings. The Brooklyn pizza is amazing, but I felt it was a bit overkill on the toppings. Each slice is loaded and so heavy it needs to be held with both hands! The Quattro was yummy but I feel the cheese needs to be a bit saltier. Both pizzas are great but they are missing something that really creates a balanced pie. I would definitely return again because they have a lot of menu items and I would like to try more!

TJ Wood Fire Pizza has a great casual ambiance, perfect for a relaxed meal. Even with how busy it gets, the service is impressively attentive and friendly. And the pizza? Absolutely delicious--fresh ingredients, great flavors, and that perfect wood-fired crust. Definitely worth a visit!

We are regulars, such good Za and great service! The food came out hot, tasty and full of flavor. Such a great local and customer oriented vibe!

When googling the best pizza places in San Clemente, TJ's came as a recommendation. We gave them a try we were pleased. The crust has a nice flavor and so did the sauce. They put a good amount of toppings on there as well. We ordered the Neo Stella and I would recommend it. It has a good flavor and was a little something different. They have plenty of vegetarian options, beer, and sodas. There are a few tables inside and outside to sit at. The parking lot can get a little busy, but dined around 4pm and had no problems finding a spot now that the theater is out of business. The staff was very friendly and the place looked clean.

Makes me sad to write this, but TJ's has gone from a consistent 5 star to a 3 star over the last year. The food has notably changed. It used to have what I considered the best Neapolitan pizza around - way better than Fuoco, better than Angelina's, just a smidge better than Pietrini. But now? It's bottom of the list. The Neapolitan pizza dough doesn't have the complex tang it once had (do they no longer put sourdough in it?), the sauce is now more like standard NY-style marinara and extra herb-y instead of their authentic simple sauce style, and the crust is definitely no longer Neapolitan. Neapolitan pizza should have a puffy edge that when you press down, it easily decreases a half inch and quickly bounces back up. There should be a spring to the dough. The pizza crust now is just flat, hard and crunchy. We have also been served some pretty burned pizzas - I expect char, but not when it's on 80% of the bottom of the pizza in way that makes it taste super bitter and burned. To add to that, they also no longer allow you to split the pizza to two flavors - my go-to was half margherita, half fig and leaf - and they charged me for the fig and leaf price and I had no qualms with that. But suddenly they can't do a split pizza. Something has gone amiss at TJ's. I told my husband as we were walking out that it felt like watching your elderly parents decline. The food has gotten so subpar we no longer seek it out. Unless TJ's can go back to way they used to make pizzas, we won't be returning.

For a few years this was our go-to pizza place, but in the last year the quality, menu and service has gone down hill. The pizza is still better than average, but they've removed some good items from their menu. The staff is aloof and not keen on getting your take-out order to you at their stated time. Not sure if ownership has changed. Something certainly has.

My favorite pizza place. They have several styles of dough/crust which makes it fun to mix it up. I can't think of any other place that has this diverse selection. They also have an ongoing selection of brews. TJ's is a 100% hit for our house and we have great responses from those we have shared it with. They are the masters of pizza (and broccoli)

This is a very popular local place. The food is fantastic. The choices are wonderful, different kinds of dough to choose from ....some yummy unusual items. I would highly recommend this pizza place.

Found this place and couldn't be happier! It's in the plaza where the old movie theater was and it is a must try! They have a cute seating area and a little bar where you can watch the pizza being made! They have plenty of good local beers on tap and staff is friendly and inviting. I made a custom pizza and it was well worth it. This hidden gem is a must try!

Something has changed at this place. Maybe new owners? Our most recent order took over an hour to get a single pizza. And the pizza was terrible. With all the new options for pizza around here there's no reason to go back. Too bad. We used to really like TJs

Came in for spaghetti and meatballs, believe it or not. It wasn't bad, however the bread was slightly charred, yes I know it was cooked in an amazing oven, and that would've been fine, but also the noodles were like 1 minute away from being Al dente. Not terrible, but I probably wouldn't order it again. We also ordered a salad to share, which was a decent size and a pizza with the corn meal crust. The pizza was delicious! It tasted so fresh, and I didn't feel bloated afterwards. We also tried some of their craft beer that was great! My only feedback is that the service was just okay. The cashier was friendly but not very helpful. Also, the prices on their order online menu are different than what is on the menu inside. I was a bit do fused with that, but no one offered to clarify, so I just said whatever. My husband and I were hungry and didn't feel like wasting anymore time. I would definitely recommend their pizza and beer from here.

Not sure when this place started going downhill but they changed their menu and the pizza had gotten worse. Maybe new owners? Not sure but I used to get the cornmeal crust and lately they are either skipping it or barely using any at all. My toppings were also undercooked. I'm hoping that next time I try them the pizza and personnel get better. They were the best in town but not anymore.

Bussin' pizza so good my dad gets free beers cause a friend of him works there, gives me free lemon Ade for my son- "my son wrote this"

I payed $5 for extra cheese and the pizza had hardly any cheese. Also, when I got to the front of the line and the cashier asked my name instead of going to get my pizza, which was ready, he started bussing the bar. When I approached him while he was bussing the bar when he should have been getting my order he mumbled he was busy and THEN he got my order that had been sitting there. I showed another cashier that the pizza wasn't what I ordered and she offered no compensation. The pizza was greasy, cold, and not right. I wouldn't recommend anyone eat here. I don't know how a pizza can be burned and soggy at the same time.

This is the worst pizza I ever had. It was cold the margarita, pizza barely had any sauce or any cheese. Some pieces only had basil or nothing else on them horrible pizza I don't know how you could make such a bad pizza without trying to make it bad

The pizza, salads, and beer selection are great! We had a small mishap with our pizza falling off the table, and they happily and quickly replaced the pizza for us, which salvaged our meal. We highly recommend this place for the food, beverage, and great service.

Trying to support they're closing down and they ran out of dough on a Sunday at 730 pm?!!! You can't "run out of dough" if it's made fresh. I've been licking my chops for several days and now this managerial letdown!

Hands down best pizza in the area and likely well beyond. Cheese NY style will rock your socks as a baseline comparison with all competitors. Everything is good - salads, pastas, apps. My fave is the fig n leaf pizza. This place is an absolute treat!

Such a great pizza place. Absolutely love the New York pizza crust. We got the Margherita style and it was solid. We also got the Neapolitan plain cheese and that was 900 degree wood fired. Both excellent pies. We will be coming back for sure to try the New York style plain next go around.

I've been here twice already and each time has been absolutely delicious! This is officially my favorite pizza place now! I have to say that the Brooklyn New York style with cornmeal crust is phenomenal. Literally one if not the best pizza I have had in my life. I could probably eat that everyday and not be tired of it, it's just so freaking good! I'm am picky when it comes to pesto and I have got to say that the pesto pasta is to die for. It's not overbearing, it's perfection. Every time I've gone I've ordered it. Delicious!

Delicious!!!! We got it door dashed and it was piping hot with tamper evident tape securing the boxes. Very soft and thin (but not too thin) crust that was not mushy at all. The sauce was so fresh with dried herbs and a perfect flavor. There wasn't too much cheese but just enough cheese, sauce and crust ratio. The garlic knots were good, pieces of crust dough, seemingly with an olive oil garlic sauce. They were good. I didn't think too much about the churro donut, but the moment I took a bite I was in sugar heaven. So! Delicious!! So, yeah, TJs will definitely be on our Friday Pizza night list!!

Unfortunately, I have to write this review. Tj's used to be my favorite pizza place, but things have changed. The staff taking orders are rude, which is disappointing when you're paying for expensive pizza. On top of that, the quality has gone downhill. The pizza was soggy, soft, and limp. My guest and I both agreed, "This pizza is awful." At $55, it was a huge letdown--Domino's tastes better. Such a shame.

THIS SHIT WAS LIIIIIIIIT. delishous tomato sauce, the crust had an unexpected hint of garlic that made it five stars. the dough was chewy when it needed to be and crunchy when it needed to be. amazing pizza. and they are real ones for putting the reheating instructions on the inside of the box.

Mediocre pizza with a large portion of terrible customer service. I ordered 3 pizzas for delivery. I got two. I called and asked what happened to the 3rd, and Mr. Helpful who answered the phone said "too bad. You can come get it yourself". Thanks.

Good pizza but something must have changed with management here and it's so difficult to even get an order in. We have tried 2 times this month to place a pick up order and they immediately put us on hold for 5-10 minutes. Once we pick up the food, it's either not ready or something is wrong with the order. Hope they can improve because it is good.

Such a great little spot for the best PIZZA! Delicious pizza! Love to watch them make each pizza by hand! The crust is the best part! Tried the Stella personal sized with Neapolitan crust- fresh veggies and great sauce and the Quattro Formagi- extra cheese and perfect amount of sauce. Huge Caesar salad with freshly shaved Parmesan. Good selection of beers. All the appetizers looked delicious, especially the Burrata. Two Personal sized pizzas was enough to share with three people plus the salad and some brews!

I have had their pizza for 5 years. I think it is incredible, the pizza. There pasta and dough, very nice. I would compare the ambiance to like a mobile dinning room, just like when a indoor ball court gets set up with tables and chairs. The pizza here is soooooooo YUMMY. We also got the garlic knots which i highly recommend. The vibe is very bar/pizza joint. Everyone was very nice and I always have a great experience every time i come here. MUST GET THE brick oven pizza and garlic knots!

Service was excellent, the smaller pizzas looked really good, we ordered larger pizzas for dine in and they were soggy. Also, the music was too loud to hear each other. I will try it again though and update my review

Best pizza in Orange County! The Neapolitan is hands down the best crust too. Fast. Hot. And fresh! What else could you ask for all at a reasonable price?!? Top notch customer service is a clean and friendly environment.

Really annoying that it says the full menu is available til 8:10 but in reality they close at 8... Had a full order ready to go and then it says it's unavailable but it was 7:40ish.

This place has no respect for people Place an order on line. On what you get an estimate time for pick up. Arriving at time that my order was supposed to be ready at Walk in and a guy with long hair was very rude. Keep telling me that my order was coming out in 5 min He told me that for about 5 times I told him that wasn't nice to that to a customer He responded. It wasn't he fault that i show up earlier when i showed up at the time the promised me the food To be hones this employees do not know how to handle a job now days. Sad generation of young people how does not know anything about Customer Service All their they do is a joke....

If you like brick oven pizza this is the place for you. A crispy nearly burnt crust with flavorful toppings. At the end of it you will wonder, that's it ?! Seeking just a little bit more to savor those tastebuds. Haven't dined in but looks like a cozy environment with a varied tap list.
