This is a review of the food truck while at Chucks Hop Shop in Central District. Prices were a bit high and I still received cilantro after asking for it to be removed, but overall quality was solid and the dishes we received pretty tasty. Good packaging for takeaway as well.

FOOD TRUCK REVIEW Had this while at Bale Breaker in Ballard. I had one Birria taco, queso Birria taco, and a pork tamale. My wife had the roasted veggie bowl. Everything we had was phenomenal. Weakest of the bunch was probably the “normal” taco but it was still great. The hand made tortillas make all the difference. The queso taco was of course amazing, but anything with crispy cheese of course would be! The surprise of the night was the tamale. The sauce covering it was amazing, and it was a great portion size. I’d suggest renaming the food truck to “T’Juana Tamales” because it was so good!! Next time I will probably get 2-3 of those!

I was impressed with the tacos! My favorite was the pork belly although it was quite spicy. The birrira was also very good. I got the mango lassi drink too which was strong yet good. id come back, the music was good too.

Got the classic birria burrito, it was pretty much just rice and tortilla what little meat was in there tasted good but just added to the dryness, just not enough flavor

I've eaten at both the restaurant inside Nacho Borrado as well as the food truck and I will be sticking to only the restaurant location from now on. Inside Nacho Borrado: perfect, delicious, amazing. The truck, however, was so incredibly disappointing. I got it while it was at Chuck's Hop Shop and the tacos were so bad compared to the restaurant experience. The tortillas were cold and way too thick and the meat was bland. The worst part though was the birria. The consomme was pure oil with absolutely no flavor. Very limited parking in this area. Your best shot is to park around Cal Anderson or go for a paid lot.

I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience with the T'juana Taco Truck at the Wallingford Farmers Market. Here’s a breakdown of what went wrong: 1. Misleading Information: - I was informed that I could have the consome if I ordered three tacos and that I could swap them out so they didn't all have to be birria. - Based on this information, I decided to order more than I originally intended, eager to try the birria and consome. 2. Long Wait Time and Poor Communication: - After placing my order, I waited for over 15 minutes without any notification while sitting near the music and others eating on the grass. - When I finally inquired, I was told that they had been paging me but I was out of range. There was no indication that I needed to stay within a certain range, which led to unnecessary confusion and delay. 3. Missing Items: - Upon receiving my order, I noticed that the sauce was missing from my tacos. - This was particularly frustrating given the extended wait time and the premium I paid for the meal. 4. Unprofessional Behavior: - The tall male staff member was extremely rude and dismissive when I pointed out the missing sauce. - He used harsh words and made it seem like the misunderstanding was entirely my fault, which felt like an attempt to make me cry. - The kind women who initially helped me seemed to feel bad about the situation, but their sympathy did little to alleviate the overall negative experience. 5. Overall Experience: - The entire ordeal left me feeling terrible, to the point where I couldn’t even enjoy the tacos. - What was supposed to be an enjoyable meal turned into an absolutely awful experience due to poor service and unprofessional behavior. In conclusion, I cannot recommend the T'juana Taco Truck based on my experience. The misleading information, long wait time, missing items, and rude staff made for a deeply unsatisfactory visit. I hope they take this feedback seriously and make necessary improvements to their service.

T’Juana Tacos has a branch at Nacho Borracho now in Capitol Hill, Seattle, and it’s a great match. The food is delicious, and the people are fantastic. I’ve eaten there more times than I should probably admit since they opened in Nacho. Nacho had a kitchen turnover recently, and it was quiet back there. Great to have the space filled again. I’ve had their main beef taco (substantial!), a flight of smaller tacos, a shrimp taco, a fish taco they’re testing, and their chips and dips. All delicious. My friends have all said great things about the nachos.
